It was cool weather outside much to everyone's delight. Naira was busy in cafe while Kartik was sitting there completing his project. Ah! An excuse. As he was just pretending to be busy. Whereas his whole focus was on her.

When she served his order.

"Naira! Listen" he called.

"Haan" she turned.

"Are you going on tour?" He asked biting his inner cheek.

She thought for sometime. And shook her head.

"No Kartik!" And before he could stop her. She went to serve other orders.

After her shift, she came outside and saw him sitting on his bike.

"Come!" He said,she nodded and moved to sit behind him. She sat and held the metal grip of the bike. He drove away.

"Naira!" He called.

"Haan" she looked at him with the rear mirror while he too for some seconds before turning his attention to the road.

"Can we go to park before I drop you to your apartment? " She was about to ask further.

"Please" he added. And she nodded understanding he doesn't want to ans any of the questions now.

The road which they were going through was bumpy. Kartik tried to drive bike carefully but they were feeling jerk because of that Naira's head was bumping into his every now and then but she didn't hold him. It will be awkward.right?

Kartik shook his head in disbelieve but still his lips curved up seeing her innocence.
"Naira! (He paused and she looked at him from back) You can hold me, you know!" He said and looked at her from rear mirror. She looked at him and smiled as her hands slowly went around his torso and she held him as loosely as possible not trying to be touchy.

But because of pits,and jerks. Her hand tightened around him and she kept her head on his back tired from all these jerks! She felt relaxed and soon she closed her eyes enjoying the wind. Her lips curving into a wide smile. Whereas he stiffened at once at her touch but then soon relaxed amd continued driving. A comfortable feeling settled between them. It was like they were in their own world. Just two of them!

After sometime,they reached the park. Naira was sleeping peacefully on his back. She was snoring softly. Kartik Chuckled listening her snoring.

"Naira,we are here!" He said and soon she opened her eyes. Looking here and there. Taking in the view of park. Her hands still around his torso.

"Let's go!" He said. She nodded. She waited for him to get off first. But he sat there looking at her.

"Get off!" She said confused. He sighed. He pointed towards her hands and when her eyes dropped to her hands. She realised and bit her lips. A slight pink colour creeping on her cheeks. She abruptly took her hands back tucking a hair strand behind her ear.

He chuckled. this girl is driving him crazy.

Soon they got off and strolled in park. Taking in the beautiful sight of sunset. They moved to the bench and sat down beside each other.

"So,do you want to say something!" She asked breaking the ice.

"Aren't you going to tour?" He asked.

"Nope! I am not." She replied looking at the children playing. They were some distance far from them. On the bench. In the peace. With each other!

"Same here. I am also not going."that caught her attention.

"What?why??" She asked turning to him.

"I am just not going . That's it." He said looking everywhere but her.

"You should go Kartik!" She said taking his hand in her knowing very well where it is coming from! He turned to her.

"Btw..why aren't you going?" He asked changing the topic.

"I don't want to waste money on these things. I have many expenses. Don't want to increase more." She said looking down.

"Hey! That's not done. You should go. Don't worry about money. I will pay for it." He said cupping her face.

"No Kartik,I can't take your money. I am not going." She argued. But that somewhere broke his heart. It felt so foreign to him. It felt like he was nothing of her. But that's right? He isn't her friend. Is he?? And more than that. He doesn't know.

He turned and sat looking straight.

"But you should go Kartik! Kitna kuch explore krne ko milega tumhe. Aur thoda relaxation bhi. Tumhara mind bhi un sab cheezo se hat jayega. It's a good opportunity. Please try to understand." She made him understood again taking his hand in her.

"Tum khud bol rhi ho ki kitna achha h..kitni achhi opportunity h. Aur khud hi nhi jaa rhi ho. He cupped her face. Mai agar udhar chala bhi jaunga toh kya fayda. You won't be there."

"But Varun,Ayesha aur baaki sab toh honge na." She again tried making him understand.

"Par tum to nhi hogi Na." He said looking in her eyes. Her face shone as because of the red-orange light of the setting sun which was making her look more beautiful. And he just couldn't help but adore her. She looked back. Her heart Thudded listening that. Those words. Those words just touched  her heart. Her heart skipped a beat listening to him. Is she really that important for him?

He caressed her cheeks. "Please chalo na! Agar tum jaogi to m bhi chalunga.. please Naira" he said with a cute pout
On his lips.

She looked at him, thought and nodded. And she saw a huge wide grin spreading on his face. His eyes sparkled with excitement and soon she was in his embrace.

He kept telling her how much happy and excited he is! While she enjoyed his warmth and comfortable embrace which was now becoming her favourite place. Her eyes sparkled with tears. Of happiness!. Of bliss!
How does she get so lucky?
