They were standing there with each other in arms.

Kartik opened his eyes and saw her. She was looking calm and that made him contented. He took a step back making some distance between them. Naira opened her eyes after feeling the loss of touch.

"Wanna go somewhere?" Kartik asked softly.

"Where?" She asked.

"Anywhere. Where you can calm down the chaos which is engulfing your mind." He said looking forward for her answer.

"Sure!" She said smiling. Seeing her smile which he was missing from many days. His own lips curved into a soft smile as his heart was now finally at peace.

After sometime,Naira found herself on Kartik's bike. She Looked at him from the mirror and adored him. Her smile never leaving her face. She couldn't understand. What he was doing to her. It's just that now she finds herself smiling every now and then. The girl who was lost in her problems. Who forgot how to smile was smiling like every moment is the most happiest for her. But it indeed was!

Whenever he was with her. Every moment felt right. Every moment felt Beautiful. She smiled more widely adoring him. Such a beautiful soul he is.

"Staring, aren't we?" He said and chuckled. She quickly averted her gaze.

"Huh! I was just...just .... looking at that Beautiful tree." She said and mentally smacked her head. What a bad liar she is! Can't make a single perfect lie.

"Ohh!..tree.. btw.. I can't see any tree here. Can you pls tell me Naira where the tree is! I also wanna see the beautiful tree."he said teasing her.

She understood what he is trying to do and her cheeks flamed in embarassment. There was no tree in the area from where they were passing through. It was a deserted road.

"I don't want to talk to you!" She said irritated by his teasing and hid her face in his back.

He chuckled and softly bumped his head from back to hers. "But I want to!'

She stayed quiet for sometime and asked. "Where are we going?"

"You will get to know soon!"

"Kartik tell ...pls!"

"Nope! I won't" he refused and pressed his lips in a thin line and concentrated on driving.

"You are so bad!" She exclaimed irritated as he didn't tell her their Destination.

"And you are so good!" At this she felt warm again. She wasn't that used to of his flirting. And the result of his flirting she could feel in her whole body. She felt warm. Her cheeks flamed again and with that she remained quiet.

Just then cool air hit her. And she felt ecstatic. She held his shoulders firmly from behind and stood up.

"Naira,what are you doing?" Kartik exclaimed worried.

"Sit down!"

"No..kartik,let me enjoy. " She said again standing. But on Kartik's insistence,she sat albeit with a pout.

"Why did you say me to stop. I wanted to enjoy!" She complained making Pout.

"I didn't want to get you hurt." He exclaimed showing his concern.

Her heart warmed by his care. "Why are you so Good?!" She said and kissed his cheek from back out of emotions.

They both frozed for a moment. But Kartik composed himself and again continued driving but now a giddy giddy feeling was in his stomach making him more happy. So was hers.

Soon they reached "We reached." Kartik yelled excited.

"Park?" Naira Looked confused.

"Yes!"

"Let's move." He said and held her hand taking her in.

"Naira! Let's ride in these swings!" He said excited like a child.

She chuckled. "Are you sure?"

"Yes"

She smiled at his enthusiasm and rode on the swings. Feeling child again. It was as if they could see themselves. The real them with each other.

They enjoyed their time in park riding on swings, teasing each other, playing with each other and being child again.

They understood what they were missing in their lives. These moments of pure bliss they had lost when they became adult but Today they lived those moments. The moments they were craving for! With each other. Together!

After sometime they found themselves on beach amidst the cool waves,birds chirping,sun setting and content smiles on their faces.

"Thank you Kartik!" She smiled staring at the setting sun.

The sky was adorning with a hue red colour as the sun was meeting the horizon. The birds were going back to their nestle,their home. And sea waves were kissing their bodies making them feel relaxed. It was a moment of eternal bliss.

Kartik turned to her. "If you are thanking me. Then I think. I will have to make a list because the things you have done for me are unfathomable. And it will take an year or so to thank you for each and every thing." He said chuckling.

She too chuckled. She again Looked in front not wanting to miss the beauty. While Kartik adored her. He felt responsible, responsible for her happiness, for that smile she is wearing on her face.

Oh! How much he wanted to hug her,feel her and so he did.

"Can I give you a hug!" He whispered. She looked at him and frowned.

"Because I want to!" He answered her unasked question.

She moved closer to him. And so did he. He wrapped his hands around her pulling her into a hug while she gladly submitted herself in his hug. They closed their eyes feeling a surging happiness in their body,in their hearts.

"Woah!" She exclaimed. Seeing herself on the top of city.

Kartik again surprised her. It was dark now. After leaving beach Naira thought they would be leaving for their homes but Kartik had decided something else.

So here they are, standing on top where they could see the whole city. Naira felt happiness surging inside her.

"How's it?" Kartik asked. His eyes sparkling with happiness and excitement.

"Beautiful!" Naira exclaimed looking at the city which was looking so small from top.

They dusted some area to sit and sat there. Looking at the city. They could just see the lights of the city as it was night. It was dark but the moonlight was making their faces visible to each other.

He shifted closer and said still looking in front "I never thought that my life will change so much. That I will ever be able to mend the gap between my father and me. That I will ever find this beautiful girl as my friend."

She listened to him carefully as he continued. She wanted to listen him. His voice was warming her heart. Her cheeks were hurting from smiling so much but she couldn't help but smile more widely just because of the person sitting beside her.

"But I realised Naira." Now he turned to her.

"I realised that." His hands cupped her face bringing her face closer to his.

"That I feel something more than friendship. I feel we are more than friends. This feeling never left me. I tried to resist it. I tried to name it just attraction but I couldn't. This is not just a mere attraction. It's something more. I don't know what. But it is something more. Than attraction or Infatuation" he stared in her eyes intensely and Naira couldn't help but drown in the depth of the emotions that were swirling in his eyes. The emotions which she could feel within herself too.

"And I realised it when you avoided me. When you ignored me. That pinched my heart Naira but the thing which made me feel utterly sad. Which nearly broke my heart was that you were suffering. And I wasn't able to help you." He expressed.

"But you did." Naira whispered.

"I know but the time when you were pushing me back. That time. I felt useless. Helpless." He said touching his forehead to hers.

"I am sorry!" She whispered.

"Shh!" He shushed her by keeping his finger on her lips.

"No need to be sorry."he said and smiled

"Because that made me realise Naira that you mean to me a lot. More than friend. So .. Naira" he whispered her name taking his finger back from her lips ..making some space between them but still cupping her face.

"Naira!" He whispered and he could feel his heart beating at tremendous rate.

She nodded him to go on. Her situation was no less. Her throat felt dry and she felt jitters down her body.

"Will you be my girl?!" He asked ever so softly with nervous clearly written on his face.

That question echoed in her mind and she felt Blank for a second. Her heart thumped in her chest. She looked at him to ask has she listened right?

She can't remember when after her leaving her parents has someone ever asked her to be with them. Even her relatives disowned her. No one wanted her to be with them. She felt a lump forming in her throat.

He always did everything exceptional. She never thought that he would ask this. She knew there was something between them but she stayed mum. Because she knew no one would want her in her life.

She thought that he just took her as a friend and other than the compliments and the flirting. She could't expect him from something more. Could she?

What's in her. That he is choosing her over every other girls who are ready to be with him. Her eyes blurred with tears.

She blinked back the tears and focused on him.

Here Kartik was literally dying out of nervousness. She wasn't answering anything and here he was getting minor heart attacks whenever a negative thought crossed his mind. He composed himself and asked again. He couldn't wait now.

"Will you?" He whispered.

She bit her inside cheek. "Y..yes"

"I will be y..your girl!"

Kartik's heart did somersaults in happiness while Naira felt thousands of butterflies in her stomach.

He moved closer. And touched his forehead to hers looking in her eyes intensely. She gazed back with equal intensity and passion. And soon he claimed her lips.

They sat there feeling new foreign feelings while Nature continued to bless them with its Enchanting view.
