⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ "What the hell just happen?" Tony asked as everyone on the team were on the quinjet, contemplating at the video feed they were able to get their hands on; watching this woman being brought out of containment and coming alive after being under cryo for who knew how long.
"What happened is there's another person with skills and has the capability to take down nearly half if not all of Hydra's agents, that's what." Bucky replied as he answered the question Tony had asked everyone. Tony took a glance over at Bucky before sighing.
"Okay..." He muttered to himself but Natasha heard. "So, you're practically saying that it's possible we could be dealing with another super soldier here." Tony states and Steve hummed softly as if he were agreeing. Everyone was silent for a moment after that but what really sparked at the billionaire was how quiet Natasha was currently being.
"Have any words, Natasha?" The man asked her and everyone glanced up to see the assassin. She remained in the position she was still in not looking up from the video feed. "Yeah, actually." She spoke and it sparked up some attention as everyone looked back at what she was looking at. "I've seen that specific type of movement before." She stated and pointed to where the woman flipped the man, ran halfway up the wall before flipping and running the other way before sliding on the ground and taking yet another agent down.
"Looks, pretty badass to me." Clint abruptly said and Natasha just brushed it off as if she didn't hear anything. "There was a mission I was on. Bulgaria. February, 2002. I was doing a shipment when it was hijacked by an unknown suspect. A majority of people that were on my... team, said they spotted a woman but then everything else after was like a blur. One minute she was there, another, not." She told them all then looked up at them to see what they would say.
Now this piece of information had everyone deep in thought but Tony broke it as he said he was going back in the pilot seat. Steve and Bucky went into a conference like room with Sam as Clint walked over to Natasha's side. "I've seen her before." He told her in a near low tone so no one else would hear what he said.
"You have?" She questioned and he hummed as he watched the feed with her. "I didn't tell you this but when we get back to the compound, look up the classified file 347. Under the name Goldstone. You should be able to find out what you're looking for." He told her before scratching his head as he sneakily handed Natasha a piece of paper out of view from the others. "Key word. Distress." He added before leaving.
Taking the paper, she made sure to tuck it into her suit in a place where it wouldn't be so obvious for the others to know. "We're home." Tony announced before placing the jet on auto and letting it land on its own as he got up and got his belongings. Natasha quickly shut off the feed before exiting the jet right after Tony and Clint.
Everyone parted their own ways as they went to take off their suits and make due to the rest of their responsibilities. Natasha didn't have anything else to do at the moment after removing her suit then showering. Opening the laptop she was able to sneak from Tony, she started her search. Took a while of looking and digging but she had finally managed to find what she was looking for. All of the information. The only downside was that they didn't have a picture. Well- they did, but the picture was black silhouette of a woman who could've been anyone for all that she knew. Huffing out a bit from frustration as her hope of being able to get a visual of how the person looked was terminated, she got out of it and closed the laptop.
"Who stole my laptop?!" Tony could be heard yelling down the hall and Natasha rolled her eyes but got up and went over towards the door with the electronic. "Why are you yelling so damn loud?" She questioned him as she just stood there with a look which made him sigh. He was going to answer when she added "What happened to Jarvis?" That's when he was able to tell her. "Jarvis is under. Someone attempted to hack into his system and now I have to fix some of the damage the person did and all of that fun business."
Natasha just shrugged lightly as she walked towards him and handed him the laptop back. "Found what I was looking for anyway." She told him as she started to walk away. "And what is that precisely?" He asked and she turned halfway as she walked, revealing a small smirk. "A large bird nest for Clint. You should see him sometime. Still working on a post for Sam. He talks so much like a parrot." Was all she said as she disappeared into the other hallway after turning the corner.
Somewhere in the middle of
the forest not too far from the city
The bright light of the sun, blurred the sight of the woman as she stumbled her way more than halfway in the forestry territory. She had no idea where she was but as long as she placed some distance between herself and the facility. Her heightened senses were the only abilities that were working correctly if she weren't wrong.
After all of these centuries at least that part didn't fade away or get damaged. She did, however, used to have the ability of invisibility but due to the numerous amounts of experimentations Hydra did on her, that ability was the very first to fade; and once an ability fades, it can never return. It's like a one time deal if you were to truly think about it.
What helped her find the rest of her way was the sound of distant beeping of cars. Of course she didn't know how many but she could give a precise guess that there was at least 10 or more in that exact location. Over the next 5 minutes, the blurriness was fading away and she was gaining her eye sight more and more. By the time she had reached the end of the forest, she saw that she was indeed, in a city— just not sure which one.
