⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ "Any luck on finding her?" A man with a deep voice said as a sigh escaped from his lips; exhausted and frustrated with the fact that he hadn't taken even more precautions when dealing with her reopening of the cryo. Not to mention the near miss of an escape after dealing with the Avengers. It was him and one of his scientist that had manage to make it out. The others either ran off or got defeated by the heroes.

"No, sir." The second man mentioned before clearing his throat. He was nervous to say the following piece after the first. Having a feeling he knew how the man in charge was going to react. With it, knowing full well not to keep the guy waiting or not he might face worse of a consequence, he spoke out the bad news. "There is a file missing." He stated which caused the man who had spoke first to look at him with nothing but a face filled with pure anger.

He wasn't angry, he was outraged that one of his most trusted scientist would withhold this specific piece of information. What was infuriating was the fact that he had just now found out that the file that was missing, was the very file they needed in order to find the assassin- her file. "FIND IT!" The man yelled and the scientist scurried along before anything else was said.

"Natasha, there's something I need to show you but we would need to head back or find someplace secluded first." Clint started to say and Natasha got the memo as they were still in the busy yet crowded streets of New York; completely unknown to the whereabouts of the woman they were just watching not too long ago. "Better be good." She muttered as they passed by a few people and stores along the way.

"Thank you." The woman that had brought Y/n over had said to another parent. "So tell me, Y/n, what brings you to New York?" The same woman asked as she faced her body to look at the vampire. "Just passing through, hopefully." Y/n lied. The parents looked at one another. "Like a road trip? A vacation of some sort?" A chubbier woman asked and Y/n looked at her. "Of some sort." Y/n replied and glanced over at the children. The parents shared a look with one another before looking at the direction where Y/n was looking.

"Since we know you don't have a children, do you have any relatives?" A father asked instead. "Used to." Y/n said before the silence over came they all once again. That's when she decided to abruptly stand. "It was nice meeting you all, but I must continue my journey." Y/n mentioned and they said their farewells before she was off on her way.

Forestry green was all she saw as she walked through the park. She didn't know what it was called; the park itself. They usually had different or ridiculous names for it then made some form of meaning behind it; a reasoning for why they named it the way they did. Others just didn't care on what they named it, as long as they named it.

Turned out the name they decided to give the place was Central Park. She figured that perhaps it was in direct center of something. Of course it had to mean something. Yet, she wouldn't know due to her history. All of the death, bloodshed, she bestowed. The pain, guilt, loss she endured. The people she encountered; both good and bad. Having no sense of who they truly were till their true colors were shining through like the sun.

Trust no one. She learned to believe and followed by it. More evil had been bestowed upon her rather than good. Sometimes it was hard for her to tell who was who based on actions; which is why she would wait- patiently till then to truly know rather than making an assumption on the matter.

She was deep in the park when someone ran into her. Looking down, she noticed the small frightened child. "I'm so sorry." The child said before attempting to run again but she stopped them by grabbing their arm and bending down to look at them. "What are you running from?" She asked in full concern and the child looked at her before pointing towards the direction where three men appeared. They were bulky and had angry like faces as they stopped a few feet away.

"Stay behind me." She told the child and the child did as told before the woman stood up to face the men. "What is the meaning of this?" She asked the men as they eyed the child.

"She stole something from us." One said but it was a flat out lie and she could see right through it because when she had a good look at the kid, they were dirty. As if they were rolling in the dirt. Some scratches and looked genuinely scared.

"I find that hard to believe" She told them and their demeanors changed rapidly. Slightly turning towards the child, she told them to run and get the police. They nodded and left in a quick manner before she faced the men once more. The looks on their faces was one that she had seen many times so she already knew the outcome. They didn't say anything and frankly didn't have to.

Pouting, in a fake manner of course, she tilted her head. "Oh, please don't do this. I will feel terribly sorry...." She started to say before smiling "for you." That's when the men charged at her and others thought it would turn out bad since it was 3 against one but that wasn't the case. Took less than a minute to have all the men pinned down and unconscious. She left a note stating they were doing harm to the child and to run their backgrounds if they didn't believe her. But when the police had arrived with the child, she was nowhere in sight.
