The next morning, sunlight filtered through the curtains as Taehyung stood in their bedroom, glancing at his watch anxiously.
"Mrs kim, did you see my blue file," Taehyung replied, barely glancing at her as he continued his search. "I can't find it, and I'm already late."
Jungkook chirped in and spoke, "You know, Mr Kim, I learned some magic. I can also find things like you with magic. Wait," she said, eyes twinkling with excitement.
Taehyun thought for a while, he was getting late but looking at his wife's innocent big eyes shining at him with hope, he didn't have the heart to make her sad.
So, he gave her a curt nod. "Alright, show me," he said, his tone flat but curious.
Jungkook closed her eyes and concentrated, her brow furrowing as she focused on summoning the file. But instead of the file appearing neatly, a sudden blow of wind swept through the room, sending papers flying off the shelves and directly onto Taehyung.
Jungkook's eyes widened in horror as she saw the mess. "Oh no! Mr. Kim, I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed, her voice high-pitched as she hurriedly rushed to him.
Taehyung stood there, now covered in a bunch of papers, his expression stoic but with a faint hint of annoyance. "Really?" he said, his tone carrying a controlled edge.
Jungkook pouted, her lower lip jutting out as she looked at the mess. "I just wanted to help," she whined, her voice small and apologetic.
Taehyung sighed, brushing off some of the papers stuck to his shirt, "It appears your magic needs more practice,"
Jungkook's pout deepened, her eyes wide and guilty. "But I was so sure it would work this time," she muttered, almost to herself.
Taehyung's expression softened slightly as he started to gather the scattered papers, "It's alright. At least you tried," he said, his tone was neutral but a touch of warmth was still present in it.
Jungkook, still pouting, moved to him and started helping him, occasionally glancing at him with big, guilty eyes. Taehyung looked at her with his face calm as he stacked up the papers.
"Next time, let's stick to non-magical methods," he suggested, his voice steady.
She nodded, her pout slowly turning into a small smile. "Okay, Mr. Kim," she said, feeling slightly better as they continued to clean up together.
Later,
Taehyung stood in front of the mirror, tying his tie. He glanced sideways and saw Jungkook sitting on the edge of the bed, her shoulders slumped and her face showed with sadness. The memory of her magic backfiring earlier was still fresh, and it pained him to see her so disheartened. The occasional sighs were heard in the silent room as he observed jungkook fiddling with the sleeves of her off-white dress shirt.
Finishing with his tie, he walked over to her, his usually reserved nature softening as he crouched down to her level.
"Why are you sad when you can try more?" he said gently, his voice calm and soothing.
Jungkook looked up at him, her eyes glassy with unshed tears and replied in a low tone,Β "It will cause disaster,"
Taehyung shook his head slowly. "Failure is a part of learning, Mrs kim. Every time you try, you get better."
She sighed deeply. "But what if I mess up again? What if I make things worse?"
Taehyung placed a hand on her shoulder, a rare gesture of comfort from him. "Then we will deal with it together. You're not alone in this."
Jungkook blinked at him, surprised by his words. "Together?" she echoed, a faint glimmer of hope in her voice.
He nodded, "Yes, together. You have my permission to practice your magic with me anytime. It might help if you have someone to guide you through it."
Jungkook hesitated, her eyes were still hesitant, "You think I can do it?"
"I know you can," he said firmly. "But if you don't try, you'll never know how much you can achieve."

Jungkook was determined to prove herself once again. This time, she had been practising a spell to make objects float, and now, she was convinced that she had finally mastered it.
With Taehyung standing behind his office desk and watching, Jungkook concentrated hard, channelling her energy into the spell. To her delight, the objects on the table began to lift into the air, hovering in a mesmerizing display of magic.
But just as Jungkook was about to celebrate her success, the objects suddenly began to spin wildly out of control. Pens and folders flew across the room, narrowly missing Taehyung as he ducked for cover.
Jungkook's eyes widened in horror as she realized that her magic had once again backfired, turning a simple demonstration into chaos. Jungkook covered her mouth as she watched the neat and clean office turn into a disaster.
She looked at taehyung with a sad face and puppy eyes to avoid getting a scolding. Taehyung could only shake his head and do nothing.
Nevertheless, The new day brought new hope for jungkook.
Taehyung sat on the couch, Jungkook stood a short distance away, her posture erect with newfound confidence. With a determined expression, she cleared her throat, drawing Taehyung's attention.
"Watch closely, Mr. Kim. I've been practising."
Fascinated, Taehyung watched as Jungkook began to demonstrate her magical abilities. He prayed in his mind to get the magic right this time. With a graceful gesture, jungkook extended her hand, and a soft glow arose from her fingertips, gradually forming a protective shield around Taehyung.
"Impressive, You're getting good at this," Taehyung spoke as he watched a protective shield forming around him.
However, just as the shield was about to be completed, a sudden transformation occurred.
Jungkook's eyes widened in horror as she watched the shield change into a rain of petals, showering Taehyung with a cascade of colourful blooms. She bit her lips to stop the giggle from passing through her lips at the sight of her cold husband covered in pastel flowers.
Petals clung to his dark hair, his broad shoulders, and even his stern expression, softening the edges of his usually sharp appearance. The difference between his serious face and the delicate pastel flowers was almost funny, and Jungkook bit her lips to stop the giggle that threatened to escape.
"Oh no! I-I didn't mean for that to happen!" Jungkook's hand flew to her mouth in shock, her eyes widening in disbelief at the unexpected turn of events.
Taehyung's initial reaction was one of surprise, his eyes widening slightly as the petals continued to fall around him. He glanced down at his suit which was now covered in beautiful blooms and for a moment, the faintest flicker of amusement appeared in his eyes.
Taehyung stood up and moved closer to Jungkook, plucking a flower from his shoulder. He threw it gently at her, a playful smirk on his lips. "Aren't you enjoying this a little too much?"
Jungkook giggled despite herself, the fear of Taehyung melting away. "I-I didn't mean to!" she protested, her laughter breaking through. "But you do look kind of funny."
Taehyung raised an eyebrow, the smirk widening. "Funny, huh? We'll see about that,"
Taehyung said, "You are lucky that you are learning. Otherwise..." He trailed off, a playful glint in his eyes, letting the unfinished sentence hang in the air.
Jungkook's laughter bubbled up again as she playfully nudged him. "Otherwise what?"
Taehyung pulled her closer to him by wrapping his hand around her waist. Jungkook's breath hitched as they both collided.
Taehyung spoke in a low tone, "Aren't you taking advantage of my permission, Mrs. Kim?"
Jungkook's eyes sparkled with a mix of mischief and affection. "Maybe I am," she whispered, her voice teasing.
Taehyung's grip tightened slightly, his eyes locking onto hers with an intensity that sent shivers down her spine. "Well, Mrs. Kim, what should I do about that?"
Their faces were inches apart, the air between them charged with anticipation. Jungkook's heart raced, her breath mingling with his as she leaned closer, her lips just a whisper away from his.
"Maybe you should teach me a lesson," she murmured, her voice barely audible but full of daring.
Taehyung's eyes darkened with desire as he closed the remaining distance, capturing her lips in a deep, passionate kiss. His hand moved from her waist to the small of her back, pulling her even closer. Jungkook responded eagerly, her arms wrapping around his neck as she melted into his embrace. The world around them faded away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the moment and each other.
"Mrs. Kim,"
"Mrs. Kim,"
"Kim Jungkook,"
Jungkook flinched, snapping out of her reverie to find Taehyung sitting on his chair behind the large office table.
Blinking rapidly, she looked around, realizing that she had been daydreaming. Her cheeks flushed a deep shade of red as she met his curious gaze.
Jungkook gulped, taking in the sight of him. His dark blue shirt was folded at the sleeves and unbuttoned from the collar giving her the view of his upper chest, his tie loose, and his coat draped over the back of his chair. His veiny arms were crossed over his chest as he leaned back in the chair, his dominance evident in the style he carried with him.
"Flowers?
Was I daydreaming? But The kiss... felt so real," Jungkook thought and blushed again.
She looked down and it brought her back to reality when she saw the open file resting in her lap.
"Oh yes! I was correcting this file," Jungkook mumbled.
Taehyung snapped his fingers, and Jungkook flinched in her chair, her daydream abruptly interrupted. Jungkook timidly lifted her eyes up and found Taehyung looking at her with an eyebrow raised. She fumbled with her phone, her cheeks flushing a deep shade of red as she struggled to regain her composure.
"A... call is running... I mean coming," she stammered, her words stumbling over each other in her nervousness.
Taehyung watched her with a gleam in his eyes, leaning back in his chair casually. He could see the embarrassment written all over her face, and a faint smirk tugged at the corners of his lips.
"You seem a bit flustered, Mrs. Kim," Taehyung remarked with a teasing smirk, his voice laced with playful amusement. "Need any help with that call?"
Jungkook's blush deepened as she struggled to compose herself. She managed a nervous smile and hastily gathered her things, she stood up abruptly, clutching her phone tightly.
"May I go, sir? I will be back in a few minutes," she managed to utter.
Taehyung nodded his eyes examining her fidgeting self.
"Thank you," she managed to utter before darting out of the room.
Taehyung's amusement only grew as he watched his wife hurriedly leave. He reclined back in his chair, a playful smirk playing on his lips as he resumed his work, glancing at the door through which Jungkook had disappeared.
"My wife is something else," he spoke aloud in the empty office, his tone filled with fondness.
Jungkook moved fast, her footsteps echoing through the quiet hallway. Her heart pounded in her chest, the adrenaline rush from her brief interaction with Taehyung pushing her forward. She clutched her phone tightly as she walked through the maze of office cubicles, barely acknowledging the looks of her colleagues. Her cheeks were still burning, the memory of Taehyung's teasing smile playing over and over in her mind.
Reaching her cabin door, she fumbled with the handle for a moment before finally pushing it open and slipping inside. She closed the door behind her with a soft click, leaning back against it for a moment to catch her breath. Her thoughts were consumed by Taehyung.
She slid into her chair and stared at the cluttered desk before her but saw nothing. Her mind was elsewhere, replaying the moment in Taehyung's office. A small, involuntary smile formed at the corners of her lips as she remembered the teasing smirk of her husband.
Jungkook's hands rested lightly on the edge of the desk. Her breathing slowly returned to normal, but the blush on her cheeks remained. She leaned forward slightly, resting her elbows on the desk and burying her face in her hands for a moment.
The explicit memory of her daydream came rushing back. She recalled the dream in detailβthe way Taehyung had pulled her close, his hands wrapped around her waist, their lips meeting in a kiss that felt so real. Her cheeks flushed even more at the memory, and she blushed shamelessly.
"Was I really daydreaming about that?" she thought, her mind replaying the scene over and over. The feeling of his arms around her, the warmth of his breath against her skin, the intensity of his gazeβit had all felt so incredibly real.
Sighing softly, she placed the phone on her desk and rested her chin on her hands, lost in the thought of what it would be like if the dream had been real.
The idea of Taehyung being romantic with her, teasing her, and holding her close was almost too good to believe. She knew he cared for her deeply, but the dream had waked up a longing in her heart for more moments like that
βmore intimacy, more closeness.
Jungkook sat at her desk, trying to focus on the open file before her. Her mind, however, was still in Taehyung's office, replaying the moment over and over again. She sighed, setting her pen down as she leaned back in her chair, closing her eyes.
In her mind, two small figures appeared on either shoulder. On her right shoulder, her angelic side, dressed in a flowing white gown with delicate wings, and on her left shoulder, her devilish side, clad in red with tiny horns and a devilish grin.
"Get back to work, Jungkook, You have important things to do. This is no time to be distracted." her angelic side scolded gently, her voice soft and soothing.
"Oh, come on!" her devilish side countered, rolling her eyes dramatically. "Did you see how he looked at you? That smirk, those eyes... You can't just ignore that!"
Jungkook frowned, caught between the two voices. "I know, but..."
"No buts," the angel insisted. "You need to stay professional. He's your husband, yes, but you're also here to work."
The devil scoffed. "Professional, shmeshmessional. Fuck it! Did you forget the way he pulled you close? It was electric! You need to enjoy these moments. They're what makes life exciting.
Let him fuck you, I swear, he will be so good in bed, "
At that moment, Jungkook was too stunned to speak.
Her angelic side sighed her expression one of patience and understanding. "There's a time and place for everything, Jungkook. Right now, you need to focus on your responsibilities."
Her devilish side shook her head, leaning closer to Jungkook's ear. "Responsibility is overrated. You're allowed to have fun and enjoy your husband's attention. Don't be so hard on yourself."
"Focus, Jungkook!" the angel demanded, her voice growing sterner. "You can't let yourself get carried away with these distractions."
"Let yourself get carried away," the devil argued, waving a dismissive hand. "Live a little! Taehyung clearly enjoys teasing you. Why not enjoy it back?"
The angel shook her head. "when it comes to important work like this. You need to prioritize."
The devil smirked. "Prioritize your happiness. You deserve to have a bit of fun and excitement in your life."
Jungkook's frustration boiled over.
"ENOUGH!!"
"Will you two just stop it!" she shouted, slamming her hands on the desk. The angel and devil blinked in surprise, falling silent.
She took a deep breath, her cheeks reddening with anger and embarrassment. "I'll find a balance, okay? But right now, I need to get this work done."
Both figures nodded reluctantly before disappearing, leaving Jungkook alone with her thoughts.
"Ugh, why does he have to be so handsome?" she muttered to herself, her voice echoing in the quiet room.
Jungkook glanced at the file on her desk and then back at the door, her thoughts racing. "Who does he think he is, looking so arrogant and teasing me like that?"
Her cheeks flushed again, this time with a mix of anger and embarrassment. "Does he even know what he's doing to me?"
Puffing out her cheeks in frustration, she ran a hand through her hair, her mind filled with images of Taehyung's amused expression and his casual dominance.
"Puck him and his stupid smirk. How am I supposed to focus on anything with him around?" she huffed, crossing her arms.
"Stupid Mr. Kim and his stupid perfect face and stupid veiny arms," Jungkook yelled, her voice rising in pitch as she kicked her feet under the desk.
Jungkook pouted, her lips forming a cute little frown. "I need to get a grip," she scolded herself, tapping her cheeks lightly with her hands. "I can't let him destroy my heart like this."
"Big meanie," she added softly, a giggle escaping her lips.
"Just wait, Mr kim Taehyung. I'll show you I can handle this." Jungkook fisted and sat on her chair, this time completely focused.
"I, Kim Jungkook, will not get flustered in your presence and will not melt by your charms, Mister Coldie,"Β

"Wow, Mr Kim your magic is so good," Jungkook spoke, her hands joined in front of her chest as she looked at her husband in fascination.
Under the moonlit sky, Taehyung stood in the backyard with Jungkook, a faint glow emanating from his palms as he conjured flames that danced and flickered in the darkness. Jungkook watched in awe, her eyes wide with fascination as she leaned closer to observe the intricate patterns of fire.
"Wow," Jungkook breathed, her voice filled with admiration.
Taehyung's features softened at her reaction, the flames casting a gentle glow on his features. "It's just a basic fire spell," he explained modestly, "but watch this."
With a flourish of his hand, Taehyung directed the flames to form intricate shapes in the air. Jungkook gasped softly, enchanted by the beauty and skill of his magic.
"You're so talented," Jungkook murmured, her gaze fixed on the dancing flames.
Taehyung enjoyed her wonder. "It's all about focus and control," he said, his eyes briefly meeting hers before returning to the mesmerizing display.
In a swift motion, Taehyung extinguished the flames with a snap of his fingers, showcasing his mastery effortlessly. Jungkook's eyes sparkled with admiration as she gazed at him.
"You are so cool," she breathed, her voice filled with genuine awe and appreciation. Taehyung glanced at his wife, a hint of pride flickering in his eyes at her compliment.
"It's just a little trick," he replied casually, though he couldn't hide a pleased expression at Jungkook's admiration.
Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's hand gently, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Please, Mr. Kim, teach me the
magic," she pleaded, her voice carrying a playful whine.
"Pleaseee," Jungkook whined, stretching the word.
Taehyung couldn't help but be mesmerized by her earnestness. Her pout and the way she tugged at his hand with a hint of desperation made his heart melt.
The bangs on her forehead moved as she shook him by looking with the best puppy eyes ever.
"I will teach you how to perform the magic But only if you promise not to set anything on fire by accident."
Jungkook grinned widely, nodding eagerly. "Aye aye, captain!
I promise! I'll be the best student ever," she declared, her enthusiasm infectious.
Taehyung led her to a quiet corner of the backyard under the starlit sky. With a flick of his fingers, a small flame appeared in his palm, casting a warm glow on his face. Jungkook watched in awe as the flame danced and flickered under his control.
"You see, it's all about concentration," Taehyung explained, his voice soft as he guided her through the motions. Jungkook mimicked his gestures, trying to replicate the flame in her own hand.
Her brow furrowed in concentration, her tongue poking out slightly from the corner of her mouth.
Taehyung couldn't help but admire her determination and the adorable way she bit her lip in focus. "You're doing great," he encouraged, his eyes fixed on hers.
After a few attempts, Jungkook managed to summon a tiny spark. She gasped in delight, her eyes lighting up with excitement.
"I did it!" she exclaimed, looking up at Taehyung with a beaming smile.
"Now, try to control its size and intensity," Taehyung spoke gazing at the tiny Spark.
Jungkook adjusted her concentration, willing the flame to grow larger and brighter. Soon, a small ball of fire hovered above her palm, casting a warm glow in the darkness of the night.
Taehyung gently spoke, "Direct it to the ground," his voice calm yet instructive as he guided Jungkook to control the flame.
However, Jungkook's concentration broke, and a small mistake occurred. Instead of gently directing the flame downwards as planned, Jungkook's control faltered momentarily.
The tiny ball of fire suddenly erupted into a larger blaze, spreading quickly across the dry grass of their backyard.
Jungkook gasped in horror, her eyes widening as she realized what had happened.
Taehyung's initial calmness shifted to worry. He hurriedly moved closer to Jungkook, his arms encircling her protectively as he pulled her close to him. Jungkook, feeling shaken by the sudden turn of events, instinctively wrapped her arms around Taehyung, seeking comfort and safety in his embrace.
"Mrs kim, are you alright?" Taehyung asked softly, his voice laced with concern as he held her tightly against him. His heart raced with worry, but he remained steady for her, his protective instincts kicking in.
Jungkook nodded against his chest, her heartbeat syncing with his tension. She felt the warmth of Taehyung's embrace calming her nerves, grounding her in the chaos.
Taehyung reacted swiftly, his instincts kicking in as he moved to contain the spreading fire. He summoned his magic, swiftly managing the flames to create a barrier around the growing fire. Sweat glistened on his brows, mingling with the relief that he had managed to prevent any serious damage.
Jungkook, feeling shaken by the sudden turn of events, looked at Taehyung with wide eyes, her hands fidgeting nervously.
"Mr. Kim, I'm so sorry," Jungkook murmured, her voice filled with guilt and fear. "I didn't mean for this to happen."
Taehyung looked at his fidgeting wife, his expression understanding yet firm. "It's okay. It was an Accident,"
Jungkook nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "I'm so sorry," she repeated softly, her voice trembling.
Taehyung turned to Jungkook, "Mistakes happen, but you'll learn from them. We'll practice more, and next time, you'll have better control."
Jungkook sniffled, her words still hesitant. "But I... I messed up..."
"No, you didn't mess up. You're learning, and learning involves making mistakes. We'll practice more, and next time, it'll be better."
Taehyung gently reached out, cupping her face in his hands and brushing away a tear with his thumb. His touch was reassuring.
"Mrs kim" he said softly, his voice a calming presence in the tense air between them. "I know you didn't mean it. These things happen when we're learning something new."
Jungkook looked up at him, her eyes filled with tears. She leaned into his touch, feeling the warmth of his hands on her cheeks.
"I just... I don't want to disappoint you," she whispered, her voice wavering.
Taehyung gently moved his thumb tracing a soothing pattern on her cheek. "You could never disappoint me. Learning takes time, and I'm here to support you every step of the way."
His words seemed to ease some of her tension, and she took a deep breath, nodding slightly. "Thank you, Mr kim."

Throughout dinner, Taehyung couldn't help but notice Jungkook being silent. She played with her food, her usually lively spirit numbed by the events of the evening. Concern etched his features as he watched her.
The conversation was ongoing around the table, and Jungkook remained quiet, lost in her thoughts. Taehyung glanced at her from time to time, his expression laced with worry.
Taehyung decided to gently ask, "Mrs kim, Is everything alright?"
Jungkook looked up, startled out of her reverie by Taehyung's question. She offered him a faint smile, though it didn't quite reach her eyes.
"I'm okay," she replied quietly, her voice tinged with hesitation.
"Don't you like the food," Taehyung mumbled loud enough for both of them to hear.
"It's not that," she replied softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I just... I guess I'm not that hungry tonight."
Taehyung nodded in understanding and then he continued with his food, time to time glancing at his wife.
Taehyung's footsteps echoed softly in the quiet of their room as he entered, a box of chocolates in hand for his wife to lift her mood. However, the sight of the absence of his wife immediately brought a frown across his face. He glanced around the room, his concern deepening with each passing second as he found no trace of her presence.
"Mrs kim?" he called out, his voice filled with worry as he set the box of chocolates down on the table. He moved further into the room, checking each corner and scanning for any clue where she might have gone.
Taehyung checked the bathroom first, finding it empty. He moved quietly towards the closet, feeling a mix of tension.
Approaching the closet door, he heard the faint sound of soft sobbing. His heart sank, worry gnawing at him as he gently pushed open the door.
