Without a word, Taehyung closed the space between them. His movements were almost predatory. His large hands gripped her waist, lifting her effortlessly off the dresser as if she weighed nothing. Jungkook gasped, clutching his broad shoulders for balance, but Taehyung didn't falter.
He carried her to the bed and laid her down, his sharp gaze raked over her, taking in every inch of her form. He hovered above her, his breaths heavy and ragged, his dark eyes devouring her.
Jungkook's pulse hammered in her chest as his hands slid up her sides, his fingers grazing her skin through her dress. His touch was possessive, leaving a fire trail in its wake.
Taehyung leaned forward. His lips brushed against Jungkook's forehead in a tender kiss, his warm breath fanning over her skin as he moved to her nose.
"Beautiful," he murmured.
His lips met hers next, capturing them in a possessive and adoring kiss. Jungkook whimpered softly, her hands instinctively clutching at his broad shoulders, the sound spilling out uninvited as his kiss deepened.
Taehyung pulled back, his dark eyes locking onto hers before he leaned lower, pressing a kiss to the tiny mole near her collarbone. His lips trailed downward, finding the curve of her cleavage. He paused, his hands gripping her waist firmly as he placed open-mouthed kisses along her skin. Jungkook's breath hitched, her chest rising and falling as she felt his lips through her dress.
Jungkook gasped sharply when his lips found the fabric over her stomach, kissing the area with a gentleness that differentiated sharply with the tension coiled in his frame. His fingers bunched her flowy dress, pulling it up making her feel exposed and vulnerable in the most intoxicating way.
Taehyung paused, his movements stilling as his gaze was drawn to the flower vase sitting on the windowsill. The roses, their petals full and striking even in the dim light, captivate him for a moment. His intense expression softened slightly, a very innocent thought passing through his eyes.
Without a word, he moved back, his broad frame shifting away from Jungkook as he stood and walked toward the vase. Jungkook titled her head slightly watching him with wide eyes, her breath still uneven from his earlier touch.
Taehyung's gaze softened as he approached the vase of roses near the window. The moonlight soaked him in a sliver glow, highlighting the sharp angles of his face as he carefully pulled out a single rose from the vase, its stem long and its petals plush.
Turning back to her, he held it delicately between his fingers. The light breeze from the open window fluttered the sheer curtains around him, framing his profile like a scene from a dream.
Taehyung returned to the bed. He ascended back onto the mattress, his weight dipping it slightly as he settled beside her. His posture was kingly, as he lay sideward, his head propped on one hand, elbow resting on the pillow beside Jungkook's head.
The rose rested lightly in his other hand, its stem cradled between his long fingers. His proximity was intimate yet respectful, a mum guarantee of safety and affection.
Jungkook, on the other hand, looked tinier than ever beside him, her timid posture countering with his confident one. She lay on her back, her hands clasped gently over her stomach, unsure of where else to put them. The thin strap of her rumpled pastel dress had slipped from one of her shoulders, exposing her cleavage and adding an unintentional allure to her modesty.
Her beauty was ethereal in the moonlight, her skin glowing faintly. Loose strands of her dark hair framed her flushed cheeks. Her wide eyes were still hesitant but full of trust. The starry orbs flickered between Taehyung's face and the rose he held, her lips parted slightly caught mid-breath.
Taehyung's gaze roved over her slowly, reserving every detail to his memory. His thumb idly brushed against the petals of the rose. He brushed the soft petals against her cheek and spoke, his voice low and velvety, just like the petals.
"Even this rose isn't as beautiful as you."
Jungkook's breath caught, her lashes fluttering as the rose trailed down to her collarbone. His movements were unhurried, observing every tiny change in his wife's expression and body.
"But," he continued, his voice a low murmur, "it's still deserving of your touch."
The rose's petals lightly grazed her skin as he traced it along her collarbone. Jungkook shivered, her hands clenching her dress slightly, her breaths coming unevenly as she felt his undistributed attention.
"Timid, yet enchanting," he mused, his head tilting as he studied her reaction. His voice dipped lower, a playful lilt tugging at his words.
"How is it that you always manage to look so innocent and so tempting at the same time?"
Jungkook pressed her lips together, attempting to suppress a smile but it was no use. She turned her head slightly, looking away to hide her embarrassment but Taehyung caught her chin gently, guiding her back to face him.
"Don't hide from me," he murmured again, his thumb brushing lightly over her jaw.
Her heart thudded in her chest and despite her initial poise, Jungkook found herself utterly disarmed by his sincerity. "You make it hard to breathe, Mr. Kim," she whispered, her voice trembling due to the heavy gaze.
"That means I'm doing something right."
Taehyung's gaze remained locked on Jungkook as he leaned in slightly, the rose still held delicately between his fingers, like it was a treasure, but his eyes told her that she was the true treasure in his world. The husband gazed down at Jungkook with an intensity that seemed to pierce straight into her soul.
Slowly, he brought the flower back to her. The petals of the rose skimmed over her cheek, soft as a whisper. Jungkook shivered under the touch, her lashes fluttering closed for a brief moment as her lips parted, an unspoken reaction to the sensation.
His voice was low and smooth yet it carried a depth that made her shiver.
"You are like this rose," Taehyung began.
Her eyes opened with curiosity and something deeper. He tilted his head slightly, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as he trailed the rose down to her jawline. His fingers turned the stem slowly, letting the petals brush against her skin like the lightest caresses.
"Soft..."
The petals glided over the curve of her neck, eliciting a gasp from her lips. Taehyung's hand remained stable, his gaze never leaving her.
"Delicate.."
The rose dipped lower, grazing the hollow of her throat. Jungkook's hands gripped the sheets at her sides, her fingers curling instinctively as her body reacted to the feather-light touch.
"Beautiful beyond words."
The rose traveled down further, the petals brushing over her collarbone. Taehyung paused there, his dark eyes tracing the faint blush spreading across her skin. Then, he continued his slow exploration, moving the rose down to the hollow of her throat.
The soft petals danced across her soft skin, trailing along the dip and curve. The sensation made her pulse quicken.
The cool night air mixed with his warm touch and Jungkook felt her body respond to the deadly combination. She let out a shaky breath, her body trembling slightly beneath him.
"But like the rose," he continued, his voice dropping, more intense, "you are dangerous too."
His thumb pressed against a thorn on the stem, the sharp point piercing his skin but Taehyung didn't flinch. A bead of blood welled up, crimson against his tan complexion. Jungkook's eyes widened at the sight, her lips parting to speak but he silenced her with a knowing glance.
"See?" he murmured, lifting his thumb and holding it between them. "Beauty like yours isn't just meant to be admiredβit demands respect. Fear, even."
Jungkook's chest rose sharply, her heart pounding as his words sank into her. The rose dipped lower again, tracing her collarbone, then sliding down further to brush the hollow between her collarbones.
"Your petals draw people in," he murmured. The rose trembled slightly in his hand as his fingers rubbed the stem.
"But your thorns?" Taehyung chuckled softly, the sound deep and rich, vibrating against her. "They remind us all that not everyone can have you, not unless they're willing to bleed."
The rose dipped lower, its petals now brushing against her cleavage. Taehyung's gaze never wavered, his expression both adoring and intense as he traced the soft flower along her dress. Jungkook squirmed under his gaze, her body tense yet craving the gentle attention he lavished upon her. She turned her head slightly, biting her lip in an effort to steady herself.
Taehyung tilted his head slightly, a knowing smile playing on his lips as he saw her chest rise and fall with each unsteady breath.
"Your beauty isn't just in your softness or sweetness, Jungkook," he whispered, his face dipping closer to hers. His breath ghosted over her ear as he spoke. "It's in your strength. The sharpness you hide behind that angelic face."
The rose moved upward again, trailing back to her shoulder. Taehyung's hand brushed against her dress, his fingers grazing her skin lightly, enough to send a shiver coursing through her.
"You are a rose, Mrs Kim," he said, his lips brushing the shell of her ear.
"Soft and dangerous. Beautiful and untouchable."
Jungkook's breath hitched, her hands trembling as they reached out, clutching the soft material silky of his shirt. Her lips parted but she couldn't find the words to respond.
Taehyung leaned in further, the rose poised against her chest, directly over her heart. His voice dropped to a hushed tone. "And yet... I want to hold you. Even if it means bleeding for you."
He pressed the rose to her chest, letting the softness of its petals rest against her as if sealing his words into her heart.
"Because for a rose like you, every thorn is worth it."
Taehyung lifted his bleeding thumb, the crimson bead of blood glistening under the soft moonlight filtering through the window. His intense gaze locked onto Jungkook's lipsβplump and cherry-red, slightly parted as she breathed shallowly, her chest rising and falling.
Without breaking eye contact, he brought his thumb to her mouth, brushing it softly against her lower lip. The soft plump lips met his skin and he felt her tremble beneath him. Her lashes fluttered, her gaze darting up to meet his, wide and shy.
"Even your lips," he murmured, his voice low and gravelly, "are like the petals of this roseβso soft, so perfect..." He pressed his thumb a little harder, just enough for her lips to part. The bead of blood smudged faintly against her lower lip, staining it deeper red.
Jungkook's breath hitched, the faint metallic taste brushing against her tongue as she instinctively pressed her lips together. Her eyes widened slightly, her cheeks blooming with heat as her hands nervously fisted the fabric of her dress.
Taehyung tilted his head, his thumb still lingering at her mouth and his gaze roamed her face with an intensity that made her squirm.
"But," he continued, his tone dipping lower, more intimate, "they hide a fire no one else can touch."
She swallowed hard, her throat bobbing, and he felt the soft exhale of her breath against his skin. Her lips quivered against his thumb, her tongue flicking out unconsciously to brush against the faint stain of his blood. The innocent action sent a heat spiraling through him, and his jaw clenched as he steadied himself.
Her lips parted further, her eyes searching his face for meaning. But Taehyung's expression was unreadable, a mixture of adoration and something darkerβsomething primal.
Taehyung pressed his thumb just a little harder, pulling her lip down slightly before releasing it, watching as it bounced back into place.
Jungkook's cheeks flushed a deeper red, and she instinctively bit her lip, her teeth grazing against the spot he had touched. Taehyung chuckled softly, his tone filled with both affection and mischief.
"Don't do that," he murmured, his thumb slipping between her lips for the briefest moment before trailing back along the corner of her mouth.
Jungkook's lashes fluttered, her doe-like eyes darting up to meet his.
"M-Mr. Kim..." she whispered, her voice trembling as she struggled to steady her breathing.
"Hmm?" he hummed, his thumb dipping lower, brushing the sensitive skin just below her bottom lip, making her squirm. "What is it, Mrs. Kim?"
Jungkook's gaze dropped, her shyness taking over but she couldn't bring herself to pull away from his touch. Instead, she pressed her hands against his chest, her fingers trembling as they splayed against the firm muscle beneath his shirt.
Taehyung's smile softened at her timid reaction, but his teasing didn't stop. His thumb grazed the corner of her mouth before returning to her lip, pulling it down slightly as he leaned in closer. Jungkook's breath came faster, her cheeks aflame as her lips quivered beneath his touch.
"S-Stop teasing," she finally managed, the plea in her tone was unmistakable.
Taehyung's eyes darkened as they fixated on the tiny mole just beneath Jungkook's lower lip. It was a small detail, but to him, it was maddeningly alluringβa mark that felt like it existed solely to tempt him. His jaw clenched and his large hand gripped her jaw firmly, tilting her face upward to meet his gaze.
Without hesitation, his thumb brushed over the mole, rougher this time and possessive. His eyes burned into hers as he leaned closer, his musky scent and sheer presence making her chest tighten.
His lips descended on the spot, but there was nothing soft about the way he kissed it. He devoured it with a fierce hunger, the heat of his mouth searing into her skin as he sucked on the delicate area just beneath her lip. His teeth grazed the spot, biting down lightly but enough to leave a tingling sensation.
Jungkook whimpered, her hands flying up to grip his shoulders, desperate for balance as he ravished the tiny mole like it was his lifeline.
"M-Mr..," Jungkook stammered, her voice trembling, but he didn't relent.
"Do you have any idea how many times I've wanted to do this?" he muttered against her skin, his warm breath fanning over her trembling lips. "How many times I've stared at this damn mole and told myself to hold back?"
His lips returned to the spot, this time rougher, his sharp teeth grazing her delicate skin as he left heated kisses that turned her legs to jelly.
Jungkook's heart raced, her breath coming in short gasps. Her hands clenched his shirt as she tried to form words, but her voice betrayed her, only soft whimpers escaping.
Taehyung's dark eyes glinted with mischief, his smirk curling into something far more dangerous and intoxicating.
"You know," he drawled, "the way you hold on to me like that... I can't help but think you might actually enjoy driving me wild."
Jungkook's face burned crimson but she didn't loosen her grip, her wide, doe-like eyes darting away from his intense gaze. That was a mistake and she realized it too late. Taehyung's fingers tipped her chin up firmly, forcing her to meet his eyes.
"If you keep looking at me like that, darling, I might just forget how to behave."
Before Jungkook could muster a protest, Taehyung's dark eyes glinted victoriously as he claimed her lips fully, his kiss rough, deep and unapologetically possessive, leaving no doubt in her mind that Jungkook was hisβentirely and irrevocably.
As the kiss broke, Jungkook gasped softly, her chest rising and falling as she tried to steady her erratic breathing. Her fingers were still clutching Taehyung's shirt, knuckles white from the intensity of her grip. She dared a glance up at him, her cheeks flushed a deep pink, her lips slightly swollen from the roughness of his kiss.
Taehyung's chest heaved too as he caught his breath, his gaze dropping to Jungkook's slightly swollen lips. The faint smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth, satisfaction flashing in his eyes.
Jungkook's shy eyes darted downward, landing on the rose that now lay forgotten between them, its once-perfect petals slightly crumpled from their earlier play. She reached out hesitantly, her delicate fingers tracing its stem.
The vibrant red hue mirrored the color that now adorned her lips and cheeks.
A shy smile tugged at the corners of her lips but the mischief in her doe-like eyes was unmistakable. The defiance was there, dancing in the depths of her gaze, daring Taehyung to react.
Slowly, Jungkook let the rose's stem slide through her fingertips, her eyes locked onto his. She trailed the soft petals across her palm, the motion was sensual. Her touch was feather-light, teasing the skin as her eyes never left Taehyung's.
Then, without breaking her gaze, she slowly moved the petals upward, trailing them over her arm. The sensation of the delicate petals brushing against her bare skin was intoxicating, but it wasn't just the sensationβno, it was the way Jungkook made each movement an invitation, her body language dripping with intention.
The petal brushed over her collarbone and lingered at the curve of her neck, where it teased the edges of her exposed skin.
"Soft and dangerous, you say?" Jungkook murmured, her voice teasing yet laden with a challenge. She rolled the petals between her fingers now, the motion gentle at first, then firmer, until the vibrant red was crushed, releasing their delicate fragrance.
She raised her hand slowly, the crumpled petals resting like a secret in the curve of her palm. Her gaze never faltered as she extended the offering toward him, her lips curling into a confident smile.
"What now?" The wife asked, her tone sweet but filled with playful defiance as she released them.
The petals fluttered downward like crimson snow, cascading over her chest and pooling against the fabric of her dress. The sight was mesmerizingβthe delicate rose petals scattered across her, contradicting vividly against the pale moonlit glow of her skin.
Each petal cling to her, tracing the curves of her body. She let the remaining petals fall without a second thought, watching them pool around her like the aftermath of a storm. The way they settled against her dress, pressing gently against her skin, only intensified the temptation.
Taehyung's breath hitched as he watched her, utterly captivated. The mixture of innocence in her gaze, paired with the provoking nature of her actions, left him speechless. The scene before him felt almost sacred, like something too beautiful to exist in this world.
His wife, Jungkook had become an incarnation of the rose itselfβdelicate and dangerous, soft yet unapologetically bold.
The petals now scattered across her form, like fragments of a living masterpiece, sent his pulse racing. The sight of her surrounded by the remains of the rose felt almost divineβlike a living painting he couldn't look away from.
A painting come to life!
"You look..." Taehyung's voice was hoarse, his throat dry as he struggled to find the words. His gaze softened, a rare, unguarded awe shining in his dark eyes. "Heavenly."
Jungkook's lips curled into a sly smile. She tilted her head slightly, her eyes glinting with mischief as she held the barren rose stem, tapping it lightly against his chestβright over his heart.
"Then I guess," she whispered, her voice a teasing lilt, "this is what heaven looks like."
Taehyung's chuckle came low, a deep rumble from his chest, and his fingers reached out instinctively. They grazed over her collarbone, brushing the last few fallen petals from her skin.
"Heaven isn't a place," he murmured, his lips ghosting over hers, "it's you."
Jungkook's cheeks flushed, but she didn't look away. Instead, she tilted her chin, her eyes narrowing in a challenge.
"You didn't answer my question, Mr Kim," Jungkook gestured towards crumpled petals, "What now?"
Taehyung's gaze dropped to the scattered petals Jungkook gestured toward, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
"What now?" he echoed, his deep voice a silky murmur, his eyes locking onto hers.
"Now, Mrs. Kim, I tell you the truth."
Jungkook arched a brow, a smirk teasing her lips. "The truth?" she repeated, her tone feigning skepticism but unable to hide the curiosity glinting in her eyes.
"Yes," he whispered, his voice lowering to a tantalizing timbre, "the truth that even when bruised, scattered, and pressed against the earth, a rose's beauty doesn't fade. It becomes something even more intriguing."
He reached out, brushing another petal from her silky strands, his fingers lingering longer than necessary.
"And you, my rose," he continued, his lips curving into a sly smile, "are no different. Even when flustered, even when you challenge me with those mischievous little games, you only grow more captivating."
Jungkook's breath hitched at his words, and she could feel the heat creeping up her neck, spreading to her cheeks. Still, she wasn't about to let him have the upper hand so easily. She tilted her head, her voice soft but laced with playful defiance and gestured again toward the fallen petals, her eyes narrowing.
"You're comparing me to a rose again?" Jungkook asked, feigning irritation, though her cheeks flushed a deeper shade.
"Not just any rose," Taehyung countered, his lips curling into a grin that was equal parts boyish and devilish.
"The most exquisite one I've ever laid eyes on. Beautiful, untouchable at first glance, but with a fire underneath that could burn anyone foolish enough to underestimate it."
Jungkook's lips parted, a soft gasp escaping as she stared at him, speechless. The conviction in his toneβit was overwhelming, intoxicating, and entirely too much for her fluttering heart to handle.
Taehyung's fingers trailed from her collarbone down her arm as if savoring every inch of her. He stopped at her wrist, taking the barren rose stem from her hand and twirling it slowly between his fingers.
"And this," he said, holding up the stem with its thorns glinting faintly in the dim light. "Even without its petals, a rose is still armed. Still strong. Just like you."
Jungkook blinked, her heart skipping a beat at the unexpected tenderness in his voice.
"I'm strong?" she asked softly, her usual confidence wavering as she searched his face for insincerity.
Taehyung chuckled, he cupped her cheek with his free hand.
"Strong enough to keep me on my toes every second," he admitted, his thumb brushing over the curve of her cheekbone. "And beautiful enough to make me forget how to breathe."
Jungkook's blush deepened, but she refused to let him see her flustered for too long. Instead, she leaned into his touch slightly, her lips curving into a playful smile. "You're quite the poet tonight, Mr. Kim," she teased, though her voice trembled slightly from the emotions coursing through her.
"I've been inspired," Taehyung replied smoothly, his gaze flickering down to her lips. "But words can only do so much."
"Still doesn't answer the question, Mr. Kim," she pressed, her tone light but her gaze steady. "What are you going to do about all these crushed petals?"
Taehyung smirked at her persistence, leaning closer until their noses almost touched.
"What am I going to do?" he repeated, his voice dropping to a husky whisper. "I'm going to keep them... just like I'll keep you."
Jungkook's eyes widened at his bold declaration, her cheeks flaming as his words settled in her chest. She tried to look away, but his fingers gently tilted her chin back toward him, forcing her to meet his intense gaze.
"Because every petal, every moment, every part of you," he continued, "is something I'll cherish. Bruised or perfect, mischievous or shy, you're mine, Jungkook. Always."
Taehyung's words left her speechless, her heart racing as she stared at him, unsure how to respond. But Taehyung didn't wait for an answer. He brushed a stray strand of hair from her face, his thumb grazing her cheek as his lips curled into a soft smile.
"So," Taehyung said, "to answer your question, Mrs. Kimβwhat now?"
The husband raised his hand, his fingers twitching slightly. Then a golden glow arise from his fingers and the crushed rose petals that had scattered across Jungkook, lying against her dress, began to move.
The petals lifted into the air, twirling like they are in a dance. They moved in unity as if drawn together by some invisible force. Jungkook's eyes widened as she watched in wonder, her breath caught in her throat.
With a flick of his fingers, Taehyung guided the petals, now whole again, back together. Before Jungkook's wide eyes, the rose reassembled itself, each petal regaining its original form, vibrant and whole once more.
It was an awe-inspiring sight, the magic flowing around Jungkook like a dream, a beauty that took her breath away.
With another flick of his fingers, the restored rose floated gently into a glass jar that appeared on the bedside table. The jar shined faintly under the moonlight, its surface reflecting the delicate petals as they floated gently inside, alive with the magic he had incorporated.
The rose, now whole and perfect, rested there, an offering in a vessel that seemed almost too beautiful to touch.
Jungkook turned her head, her eyes locking onto the jar and a gasp escaped her lips. But before she could fully absorb the beauty before her, Taehyung leaned closer, his body radiating heat.
The faint smirk tugged at his lips, sending a wave of warmthβand something deeperβthrough her.
"Do you know what glass is?" he began, his voice low and velvet-smooth, each word dripping with raw intent. "It starts as sandβrough, unyielding, unremarkable. To become glass, it must be melted, burned at the fiercest heat until it surrenders to the fire."
Jungkook's breath caught, her heart fluttering as his fingers brushed against her jaw with infinite tenderness, tilting her face to meet his. The soft touch grounded her, but his wordsβhis slow, deep wordsβpulled her in deeper, like a magnet she couldn't resist.
"Only then does it harden into something unbreakable. Something strong enough to protect what it holds inside."
Jungkook's pulse quickened. Taehyung's hand trailed down her arm, his touch was full of meaning. It was both tender and possessive, the way his fingers skimmed over her skin, as though he were memorizing every curve, every inch of her.
"If you are the rose," he murmured, his voice like a vow etched in stone, "then I will be the glass. I will endure the flames, the molten agony, to become the shield that guards you."
Jungkook's lips parted slightly, her heart racing in her chest as she met his dark gaze. His thumb traced the edge of her lips with such gentleness that it felt as if time had slowed.
"I'll be the boundary between you and the world. The barrier that lets your beauty shine but keeps the thorns hidden. No one will touch you. No one will harm you."
Her lips parted, her heart pounding as his dark gaze bore into hers.
"And just like this glass," he gestured toward the jar on the table, "I will never break, no matter how fierce the storm is."
Jungkook's cheeks flushed, her voice trembling with both awe and defiance that always stays inside her.
"And what happens if the rose wishes to escape her jar?"
Taehyung's lips quirked into a wicked smile as he leaned in, his breath mingling with hers.
"Then the glass will shatter," he whispered, his voice a seductive promise, "but only for his rose."
The tension crackled like a live wire between them and Taehyung pressed a kiss to her temple, his hand resting possessively on her waist.
"And if the glass shatters," he murmured, his voice dropping into a dangerous whisper, "it will not be the rose that suffers but everything that dared to harm it."
Taehyung's words hung in the air like a spell, their intensity leaving Jungkook breathless. Her gaze flickered to the rose encased in glass on the table, then back to him. The heat in his eyes sent a shiver down her spine, her cheeks flushing a deeper crimson as his thumb brushed across her lower lip again, pressing just enough to make her heart race.
Jungkook's lips parted under his words, her breath shallow. Taehyung leaned closer, his nose brushing hers as his free hand slid up her side, fingers trailing over her dress. His touch was light, teasing, yet it left a trail of fire in its wake.
"You speak as if the rose is helpless," she whispered.
Taehyung smirked, his lips dangerously close to hers. "Helpless? Hardly," he said, his tone low and thick with desire. "But even the fiercest rose needs someone who understands its thorns."
His lips brushed hersβnot a kiss, just the faint touch, enough to send her pulse skyrocketing. Jungkook's hands moved to his chest, her palms pressing against the firm muscle beneath his shirt and a faint chime of bracelet echoed in the silent room.
Taehyung leaned in further, capturing her lips in a kiss. His hand slid up to cradle the back of her neck, his fingers threading through her hair as he deepened the kiss. Jungkook melted into him, her hands curling into his shirt as she gave herself over to the moment.
The kiss grew hungrier as Taehyung pressed her back against the pillows, his body hovering above hers. His weight, though not fully on her, was enough to make her feel utterly claimed.
The sheer curtains by the bedpost swayed gently in the cool night breeze, framing the scene like something out of a dream.
His lips left hers, trailing down to her jawline, then to her neck. His warm breath fanning against her skin as his lips moved with passion. Jungkook let out a soft gasp, her fingers tightening their hold on him.
"Taehyung," Jungkook whispered, the soft voice trembling with both vulnerability and desire.
The sound seemed to ignite something in him.
Taehyung's hand slid downward, his fingertips grazing the delicate lace of her waistband. The touch was featherlight. He was exploring a treasure too precious to rush. Jungkook's breath hitched audibly, her chest rising and falling against his, her nerves setting her pulse aflame.
The intimacy of the moment was overwhelming and a deep flush crept up her neck and settled on her cheeks.
Unable to bear Taehyung's dark gaze as it traveled lower, Jungkook wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. Her movements were shy yet desperate, she wanted to bridge the distance between them while also shielding herself from the intense moment.
It was a silent plea for both closeness and modesty, a balance between vulnerability and the desire to remain in his embrace.
"Jungkook,"
Taehyung murmured, his voice a low rasp. The sound of her name, so soft on his lips, wrapped around her like a tender caress. He leaned in, his lips hovering near her ear, his breath sent goosebumps across her skin.
"Are you uncomfortable?"
Jungkook shook her head quickly, her heart hammering in her chest. Her face buried in the crook of his neck, her soft hair brushing against his jaw and her flowery scent filled his sensesβsweet and intoxicating, like an elusive dream.
In the soft moonlight that filtered through the curtains, the two of them lay in a fragile yet intimate position.
Taehyung's body was half-propped against the bed, one arm pressed against the mattress for support, while the other gently cradled Jungkook's back.
Jungkook's upper body was pulled up slightly, her face tucked into the crook of his neck, seeking refuge in his embrace. Her breath fanned against his tan skin, sending a shiver through him. Her body rested delicately against him, her lower half still grounded on the bed, her softness fitting perfectly against his firm body.
The contrast of their positions was so divine.
Jungkook's delicate form was held so tenderly, half-raised and half-reclined, like a delicate flower caught in a gentle breeze. Her hair slightly tousled from their closeness, cascaded over his chest like a silken veil, its strands glimmering in the soft light.
Taehyung's gaze softened as he watched her, the way her breathing fluttered against his skin, the faint tremor in her body that he knew was tenderness and desire. Jungkook nuzzled deeper into him, her fingers curling lightly into the his shirt, holding onto him for strength.
"I-I'm not," Jungkook stammered, her voice muffled but carrying defiance.
Taehyung chuckled deeply, the sound vibrating through his chest and against her, sending another shiver down her spine.
"Then why won't you let me see?"
Jungkook clung tighter to him, her fingers tangling in his hair as her heart pounded against her ribcage. Her breath came in uneven gasps as her eyes met his.
There was a beautiful hesitation in her gazeβshyness and the vulnerability of someone who had just exposed their soul.
"Because..." Jungkook whispered, her voice trembling with shyness. "It's too much."
Taehyung's heart swelled at the honesty in her words. He felt a deep respect for her vulnerability. His expression softened but the desire still simmered beneath the surface, like embers that refused to be extinguished.
He pressing a gentle kiss against her head before murmuring, "Alright, I won't."
In that moment, Taehyung was a man of his word and his actions reflected it.
Taehyung's fingers gently brushed through Jungkook's hair as she clung to him, her breath still coming in soft gasps. His touch spoke volumes without the need for words.
Taehyung gently laid Jungkook gently onto the bed but their position remained the sameβher body nestled against his, her arms still wrapped around his neck, clinging to him.
He didn't mind the closeness or the warmth that radiated between them.
It was something that felt so natural, so right.
Carefully, he reached down, his hand finding hers where it clutched his shirt. He wrapped his fingers around hers, gently prying them loose before intertwining their hands. Bringing her hand to his lips, he pressed a kiss to her knuckles, his dark eyes watching her intently as her lashes fluttered at the gesture.
"I'll stop if you want me to," he said softly.
Jungkook's heart fluttered at his words, her chest tightening with emotions she couldn't quite name. She glanced down at their joined hands, her small fingers dwarfed by his larger ones and her cheeks burned with warmth.
Slowly, hesitantly, Jungkook raised her eyes to meet his, her gaze shy but unwavering. Her free hand moved on its own, lifting to rest against his nape, her palm pressing lightly.
Jungkook's fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer, the silent invitation clear in her touch. Taehyung leaned in slightly, his breath mingling with hers, the heat between them building as his gaze softened with affection and desire.
But it was his hands that began to move next, slowly, with purpose. His fingers trailed from her waist, fingers dipping gently beneath the fabric of her dress, exploring the smooth skin.
Jungkook gasped sharply when she felt the cold rings of Taehyung's fingers press against her warm skin, the chill of the metal watch on his wrist against her soft body. The sensation made her skin tremble, her breath catching in her throat as a shiver ran down her spine.
Her heart skipped a beat and Jungkook raised her head.
The sight that met her gaze was overwhelmingβTaehyung's large hand resting over her stomach, fingers splayed out to cover almost all of her midsection. A soft smile curved Taehyung's lips, his fingers stilling for a moment before he leaned down, his forehead brushing lightly against hers.
"Tell me if I do... if anything is too much."
Taehyung's thumb brushed against her skin, caressing the curve of her stomach as he observed her reaction, noticing the way her body responded to every touch.
Jungkook dropped her head back against the pillow as soon as Taehyung's thumb dipped into her navel, the sensation sending a new wave of heat through her body. A soft whimper escaped her parted lips, her voice unable to form coherent words.
Her eyes fluttered shut, her lashes resting delicately against her flushed cheeks, while her breathing hitched, uneven and shallow. The pressure of his thumb made her feel funny in her core.
Jungkook's arms were wrapped around his shoulders now, pulling him closer, her breath hot against his neck. She wasn't sure where this courage was coming from but she didn't care.
All Jungkook knew was that she wanted himβhis warmth, his touch, his presenceβmore than anything in that moment.
Jungkook was caught between the yearning to lose herself in Taehyung and the restraint that held her back.
It was too much but at the same time, it wasn't enough.
Still, there was no pulling away.
Not when his touch was like fire, igniting something in her that she couldn't control.
"Taehyung," Jungkook breathed, her voice a soft plea.
Her fingers tangled once more in his hair, pulling his face back to hers. Her lips parted slightly, and she whispered, "Don't stop."
Her words were an invitation, one he was more than willing to accept.
Taehyung whispered, his voice dipping into a husky tone as his thumb pressed lightly into her navel.
Jungkook bit her lip, her eyes fluttering closed as her chest rose and fell in uneven breaths. His lean finger tracing along her skin made her whole body reactβher muscles tightened and fluttered in response, her pulse racing in her ears.
Her cheeks flushed, the warmth spreading to the tips of her ears as her heart beat frantically in her chest.
Taehyung smirked, the corners of his lips curling in satisfaction as he noticed the way her body responded to him. His fingers were like fire, setting her on edge with the smallest movement.
His confidence grew with each soft tremor Jungkook emitted.
Leaning closer, his lips brushed her temple, his warm breath fanning over her skin. His fingers dipped lower, tracing just beneath her navel before circling back up. He pressed his thumb gently into the dip of her navel and rotated clockwise, applying just enough pressure to make her squirm beneath him.
Jungkook's breath hitched, the pressure in her core rising as his touch became almost too much to bear. Taehyung's dark eyes stayed locked on her face, studying her every reactionβthe way her lashes fluttered, the soft parting of her lips, the rosy flush spreading across her cheeks.
Jungkook whimpered softly, her head tipping back as she tried to contain the heat building inside her.
"Tae," she breathed, her voice shaky and pleading, though she wasn't sure if she was asking him to stop or continue.
"Every little touch drives you wild, doesn't it?"
Jungkook couldn't respond; her voice was caught in her throat and all she could do was nod faintly. The heat of his hand combined with his actions left her feeling lightheaded, her body burning with sensations she'd never realized were possible.
Taehyungs fingers dipped slightly lower, just grazing the waistband of her lace, sending a jolt through her as he explored just above it. Jungkook held her breath, unsure of whether to want him to continue or to retreat.
"Relax," he whispered against her skin, though the way his fingers moved told a different story.
Taehyung's gaze lifted to hers, his dark eyes searching her face for any hesitation, any discomfort. But what he found instead was trust and a yearning that mirrored his own.
It was then that his fingers brushed against something coolβa butterfly chain wrapped around her waist, the delicate piece resting perfectly on her smooth skin. His breath caught for a moment as his thumb traced the intricate design.
The sight of it, coupled with the softness of her skin beneath, stirred something primal within him.
"You're still wearing it," he murmured, his thumb circling the charm lightly.
Jungkook's lips quirked into a shy smile, her cheeks flushed as she whispered, "You gave it to me, didn't you?"
Taehyung's eyes softened at her words, but the flicker of desire remained in his gaze. He wanted to press his lips to that spot, to mark the skin that was adorned with his gift.
The thought alone had his heart pounding.
But then, his protective instincts flared.
Reaching over, he grasped the nearby blanket, gently draping it over her bare legs, ensuring the fabric covered her modesty up to her hips. His movements were tender, shielding her from his own overwhelming hunger.
Jungkook's eyes widened at his words, her heart skipping a beat at the possessive edge in his action.
Taehyung's lips curled into a soft smile as he tucked the blanket around Jungkook. His eyes roamed over her flushed face, catching the way her lashes fluttered as she avoided his gaze, her fingers nervously twisting the edge of the blanket.
A chuckle rumbled low in his chest.
Just moments ago, this bold, stubborn wife of his had been pleading with him to take her without any hesitation, her voice dripping with confidence and desire.
But now, here Jungkook was, wrapped in a blanket like an innocent bride, shyly avoiding the intensity of his gaze, as if the same beauty who had demanded him so eagerly just minutes ago had become a completely different person.
Taehyung couldn't help but be captivated by the contrastβhow Jungkook could switch between being so fiercely confident and so beautifully vulnerable in his presence.
It only made her more irresistible.
"Shy now, Mrs. Kim?" he teased, making her cheeks burn even brighter.
Jungkook huffed, her lips forming a delicate pout. "I'm not shy... I justβ" She clutched the blanket tighter, peeking up at him through her thick lashes.
"It's your fault for looking at me like that."
"Like what?" he asked, leaning closer, his voice dipping lower. His thumb brushed along her cheek, trailing to her chin, gently tilting her face toward him. "Like you're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen?"
Her breath hitched at his words, her pout faltering as she bit her lip to keep a smile from breaking through. "You're so unfair," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
"If it's unfair to worship my wife, then I'm guilty as charged."
Jungkook's blush deepened, her heart fluttering wildly at his words. She tried to maintain her composure, but the way his eyes bore into hers, filled with adoration and desire, made her want to melt into him.
"I respect you, Jungkook," he murmured, his fingers tracing light circles over the blanket that covered her hips.
"Every part of youβyour wishes, your boundaries, your modesty. If this is where you draw the line, then I'll honor it."
His words were sincere and it made her heart swell with emotion.
But just as Jungkook thought she could catch her breath, Taehyung's lips curved into a mischievous smirk.
"Though, I'll admit," he added, his voice dropping an octave, "it's incredibly endearing to see my fierce little wife blush like this after demanding I take her 'mercilessly.'"
"Taehyung!" Jungkook squeaked, swatting at his chest, her embarrassment overtaking her.
"You're so beautiful," he whispered. "And I want to cherish you, not rush you."
Taehyung's care reminded her why Jungkook had fallen for the man who could balance passion with tenderness so effortlessly.
Taehyung's playful teasing faded as his gaze sharpened, the playful smirk replaced by something deeper, more intense. His eyes glued on the delicate butterfly chain that adorned Jungkook's waist, the soft detail drawing his attention like a magnet.
His restraint cracked, and before Jungkook could process his next move, Taehyung dipped his head down, pressing his lips to her lower stomach.
"Taehyung!" Jungkook gasped softly, her fingers instinctively clutching at his shoulders.
He didn't stop.
His lips trailed slow kisses across her skin, his warm breath fanning over the butterfly chain as he reached it. His large hands held her waist securely, his thumbs brushing her sides in soothing circles.
Yet his actions were anything but gentle.
With a low hum, Taehyung opened his mouth and sucked on the supple skin near the delicate chain, his tongue flicking against her. Jungkook's hands trembled as she gripped his hair, her soft whimpers filling the room.
"T-Taehyung..." Jungkook whispered, her voice quivering with both surprise and need. Her back arched slightly as his teeth scraped lightly over her skin, his lips drawing a deep mark right beneath the butterfly charm.
He pulled back for a moment, his eyes smoldering as he looked up at her.
"You're mine," he said, his voice low, gravelly, and thick with possession. "Every inch of you."
Jungkook's cheeks burned at his words, her lashes fluttering as she looked away shyly. But the way her thighs pressed together and the faint tug on his hair told him she wasn't resistingβthe wife was overwhelmed by his actions.
Her soft sounds, the way her chest heaved with each unsteady breath and the way her fingers tightened in his hair only encouraged him further. Taehyung groaned, his lips working their way back to the butterfly chain, his tongue teasing the cool metal against her heated skin.
Taehyung's lips hovered over Jungkook's navel, his warm breath grazing her sensitive skin. His hands slid over her waist, his fingers gently tracing the butterfly chain before dipping lower to rest just above her hips.
"Taehyung..." she whispered, her voice barely audible, a mix of anticipation and shyness.
He didn't respond with words.
Instead, his lips descended, pressing a slow kiss right at the edge of her navel. The softness of his mouth against her skin made her gasp softly, her hands gripping his shoulders for support.
Without warning, Taehyung parted his lips and sucked lightly at her navel, the sensation sparking a jolt of electricity through her. His tongue flicked out, teasing the sensitive skin, circling it with deliberate slowness.
"Ah... Tae," Jungkook whimpered, her back arching slightly as her body reacted instinctively to his touch.
He smirked against her skin, clearly pleased with her response. His tongue dipped into her navel, swirling and playing, while his fingers brushed against the butterfly chain.
Jungkook's breathy moans filled the room, each one encouraging him further. Taehyung's teeth scraped lightly against her skin before his tongue soothed the area, his movements growing bolder with each passing second.
Jungkook's hands slipped into his hair, tugging gently as she tried to ground herself. "Tae... you're..." Her words dissolved into a gasp when his fingers joined in, tracing the skin just below her navel, adding another layer of sensation.
"Am I too much for you, Mrs. Kim?" Taehyung murmured against her skin. His lips pressed another kiss to her navel, his tongue darting out to flick against it.
Her cheeks flushed crimson, and she shook her head, biting her lip to suppress another moan. His hands sliding up to rest on her waist as his mouth continued its relentless assault, his tongue dipping once more into her navel before sucking at the surrounding skin.
Jungkook squirmed beneath him, her body trembling with each movement of his tongue and fingers.
"T-Tae, stop teasing," Jungkook whimpered, her voice laced with both desperation and affection.
Taehyung finally pulled back, his lips glistening, his gaze dark and intense as he looked up at her. "I wasn't teasing," he said with a smirk, his voice dripping with mischief.
"I'm just claiming what's mine."
Taehyung leaned in again, his lips brushing over the butterfly chain that rested against her skin. The contrast of the cool metal and his heated breath made her squirm, a soft whimper escaping her lips.
"Don't move," he murmured, his tone was an unyielding command that had Jungkook freezing beneath him. His large hands gripped her hips, holding her still as his lips descended once more.
This time, his mouth was unrelenting. He latched onto the soft skin below her navel, sucking harder, leaving behind a dark mark that bloomed against her pale skin. His tongue followed, tracing slow circles over the spot he had claimed.
"Taehyung!" Jungkook gasped, her voice breaking as her hands instinctively gripped his shoulders. The intensity of his actions had her heart racing, her body arching into him as though seeking more of his touch.
Taehyung's lips moved languidly over her navel, his tongue tracing teasing circles around the sensitive dip before he pulled back slightly, his warm breath fanning over her flushed skin. His fingertips grazed the butterfly chain on her waist, tugging it lightly as he admired the way it complemented her.
"Mrs. Kim," he murmured, his voice deep, like a predator savoring his prey. His thumb pressed just above her navel.
"This chain is beautiful... but it feels incomplete."
Jungkook blinked slowly, her chest rising and falling with each shallow breath, her mind swirling in a haze of pleasure.
"I-Incomplete..?" she whispered, voice trembling slightly, her eyes unfocused as she stared at him.
Taehyung hummed, dipping his head again to press a soft kiss just below her navel, his lips tasting her skin.
"Yes," he said, his voice gravelly. "I was thinking... shouldn't this beautiful little spot of yours have its own jewel? Something delicate, like you, but impossible to ignore."
Jungkook's mind swirled at his words, her heart pounding in her chest.
"Like... like what?" she breathed, her voice airy as her fingers unconsciously found his hair, her nails grazing his scalp without realizing it.
Taehyung smirked, a flicker of satisfaction in his eyes as he lowered his lips to her navel once again, his breath warm against her skin. "Mmm," he mused, letting his fingers trail slowly along her waist.
"A dainty charm, maybe. Something that sparkles when the light hits it... like you."
Jungkook's cheeks flushed a deeper red, her breath growing more shallow as his words settled on her. She clung to his hair slightly, trying to steady herself. Her thoughts were scattered, lost in the haze of his touch.
"There are... navel jewels," the wife admitted softly, her voice a breathy whisper as she looked down at the husband.
Taehyung's eyes darkened with a possessive glint, his smirk turning into something more smug as he leaned back just enough to meet her gaze.
"Why don't you own one then, Mrs. Kim?" he asked, his voice was a blend of teasing and command. "Do you not realize how tempting you'd look wearing something like that?"
Jungkook's breath hitched, her pulse quickening in response. She opened her mouth, but the words didn't come easily. "I-I didn't think... I mean, I never..."
"You never thought your husband would want to spoil you like this?" Taehyung murmured, his lips brushing her ear. "Or you never thought I'd notice how perfect this spot is for something so exquisite?"
Jungkook's mind scrambled to find words but she couldn't seem to form anything coherent.
"It's not something people just wear casually," she finally managed, her voice trembling.
Taehyung's gaze remained unflinching, his eyes locked onto hers as he held her in place with his stare. "Then it's settled," he said firmly, his voice leaving no room for disagreement.
"I'll find the perfect piece for you. Something that'll remind youβand everyone elseβthat this," he pressed his thumb gently against her navel, "belongs to me."
Jungkook's breath caught in her throat, her chest rising and falling rapidly at the intensity in his tone. Her fingers curled helplessly against his chest, the possessiveness in his words striking a deep chord within her.
"You're... so weird," Jungkook whispered, though there was no real protest in her voice, only a soft, breathless surrender.
Taehyung smirked against her skin, his lips brushing over her navel before pulling back slightly, just enough to meet her gaze. His eyes were dark with intent, a possessive glint reflecting in them.
"Just wait, Mrs. Kim," he murmured. "When I put that jewel on you, you'll understand why this sight is only for me. You belong to me and I want only my eyes on you."
Taehyung's tongue swirled lazily over her navel, his wet touch coaxing soft gasps from Jungkook as she arched slightly under him. His lips quirked into a smirk at her reaction, and he pressed his index finger just inside the shallow dip of her navel, his touch exploring.
"Taehyung," Jungkook's hands flew to his shoulders, gripping him tightly as an involuntary moan escaped her lips.
"Relax," he murmured, his deep voice soothing yet commanding. His finger traced the tiny burrow, pressing gently before circling again, as if testing its sensitivity.
Jungkook whimpered softly, her cheeks flushed as his fingers moved. The sensation was foreign, a teasing mix of ticklish and sensual, and she couldn't help the giggles that escaped between her breathy moans.
Taehyung glanced up, his dark eyes glinting with mischief. "Does it tickle?" he asked, though the way his finger pressed deeper suggested he already knew the answer.
"A little," Jungkook admitted. "But it also... feels good," she added, biting her lip as she felt her body responding to his touch.
Taehyung's thumb joined the exploration, caressing the skin just above her navel as his finger dipped and swirled inside.
"You know," he began, his tone thoughtful but still holding a seductive edge, "some people pierce this little spot."
"Pierce?" Jungkook repeated, her brow furrowing slightly as her breath hitched again when his finger pressed just a bit firmer.
"Mmm," he confirmed, leaning down to flick his tongue over her navel once more before continuing, "A tiny gem dangling, catching the light every time you move."
Jungkook couldn't help but giggle at the mental image, though the idea of it sent a strange thrill through her.
"Would that... look nice?" Jungkook asked softly with curiosity.
"Beyond nice," Taehyung said, his lips brushing the words against her skin. His finger slid up and down the small dip as he spoke, sending shivers through her. "It would look stunning. But..." He paused, his movements stilling momentarily as he glanced up at her with a small, almost protective frown.
"But?" Jungkook echoed, tilting her head to look at him.
"It would hurt you," he said simply, his tone firm. "And I don't like the idea of you in pain, even for something so beautiful."
Jungkook's heart fluttered at his words, and a soft giggle escaped her lips despite the heated moment. "You're so dramatic," she teased, her fingers threading into his hair as she tugged lightly.
"Dramatic?" he repeated, his smirk returning as his finger resumed its lazy exploration. "You're the one imagining yourself bedazzled like a royal temptress while I'm just trying to preserve your innocence."
"Innocence?" Jungkook huffed, though her breath hitched again as his touch grew firmer, more confident. "Says the man currentlyβah!βfingering my navel."
Taehyung chuckled darkly, his voice dropping an octave. "Fair point," he murmured, leaning down to kiss the sensitive spot once more, his tongue swirling again before his lips followed.
"But I'll take the blame for corrupting you, Mrs. Kim. It's a role I'm happy to play."
Jungkook moaned softly, her body trembling under his ministrations as her laughter mingled with breathy sighs. Taehyung's pace shiftedβhis movements becoming more purposeful, that had Jungkook melting beneath him.
Jungkook's fingers clutched his shoulders. Her cheeks flushed and she whimpered softly, her lashes fluttering as her body responded to his words as much as his actions.
He shifted slightly, his lips brushing over hers in a teasing kiss before dipping lower to nuzzle the sensitive spot just beneath her jaw.
Jungkook's fingers dug into his shoulders, her nails scraping lightly against his skin as her body responded instinctively, her breaths hitching with every flick of his thumb.
Waves of pleasure rolled over her, each one stronger than the last, leaving her desperate for more.
But it wasn't just his touchβno, it was the way his gaze remained fixed on her. That intense look in his charcoal eyes made her heart race even faster.
It was as if he were reading her, studying every reaction, every slight movement of her body. The power of his gaze made her pulse spike, her entire being reacting to him.
"T-Tae..." Jungkook whispered, her voice trembling with need and vulnerability.
Unable to contain the tension building inside of her, Jungkook's lips parted and a soft moan escaping her throat before she could stop it. Her body arched instinctively, pressing further into him, craving more of the contact, more of the fire he was stoking inside of her.
The need for release that had been building, made Jungkook act without thinking. Her lips found his neck, and Jungkook bit down.
It was a strange, wild feelingβneedy, almost desperateβbut it felt right.
Taehyung's breath caught, and for a moment, his hand stilled against her skin, his body responding to the unexpected gesture. The pleasure and pain from her bite sent a shockwave of heat through him, making him growl low in his throat.
"Are you marking me, Darling?"
Jungkook couldn't answer, her voice caught in her throat as she felt a tingling sensation spreading south, her body reacting naturally to his touches. Her hips shifted slightly, an unconscious response to the electric currents sparking under her skin.
Her lips stayed pressed against his neck, her breath warm and shaky against his skin. She kissed the spot she had bitten, tenderly soothing the mark with gentle kisses.
"Let go," Taehyung murmured.
That's it.
That simple command from Taehyung was the key to unlocking something inside Jungkook.
The tension that had coiled so tightly in her core snapped all at once, like a dam breaking, releasing waves of sensation, with an intensity Jungkook wasn't prepared for.
Jungkook's shaky gasp turned into a choked cry filling the room like a delicate melody. Her fingers which had clung desperately to Taehyung's shoulders moments before, loosened their grip and slid down his arms, trembling as her strength ebbed.
Her chest rose and fell in uneven breaths, her body trembling like a leaf in a storm. Her legs quivered, pressing together instinctively as the sensations overwhelmed her, her small hands curling into fists at her sides.
Jungkook was tender, delicate, a butterfly in Taehyung's hands.
There was a shyness and wonder in her gaze, the new experience left her breathless in every sense. Her lips were swollen from biting and trembling with every exhale, parted as if to speak but no words came out.
Taehyung leaned closer and tucked a damp strand of her hair behind her ear.
"You're okay," he whispered softly, his voice a soothing balm against her heightened nerves.
Jungkook's eyes fluttered closed, the moment was too much to bear. Her body, still trembling slightly, felt like it wasn't entirely hersβsensitive and overwhelmed by the intensity of her first experience. She tried to move but found her limbs heavy, her energy spent.
Without breaking eye contact, Taehyung let his fingers trail to the delicate butterfly waist chain, his touch reverent yet firm. "This," he said, his voice low and velvety, "is beautiful. But nothing compares to the way you look wearing just my touch."
Jungkook gasped softly, her hands moving to his chest, where she could feel the steady, powerful rhythm of his heartbeat.
"Tae..." Jungkook managed weakly. Her hands twitched, attempting to reach for him, needing his presence close.
"I'm here," Taehyung murmured, lowering himself so that his face was level with hers. He cupped her cheek gently, his thumb catching the tears that had slipped from her lashes.
Jungkook let out a shaky sigh, her body surrendering fully to his care. Her mind was a haze of emotions with the overwhelming exhaustion.
"Stay with me," Jungkook mumbled, her voice barely audible as she clung to him.
"I'm not going anywhere," Taehyung promised, settling beside her and gathering her into his arms. He cradled her close, his hand splayed protectively over her back as he pressed his lips to her hair.
For a while, they stayed like that, their breaths slowly syncing as the hazy moment ebbed into something calmer. Then, Taehyung reached over to the bedside table, pouring her a glass of water.
Taehyung's hand gently wiped away the last of Jungkook's tears and offered her a glass of water. He brought it to her lips, but when her trembling hands reached for it, he held it for her instead.
"Slowly," he said softly, tilting the glass just enough for her to take small sips.
The cold water soothed her parched throat. Droplets clung to the corners of her lips, and Taehyung wiped them away with his thumb. Jungkook handed the glass back with weak, shaking hands, her lips forming a faint smile.
"Thank you," she whispered, her voice hoarse but sincere.
Taehyung set the glass aside, his hands immediately returning to her. He ran his fingers gently through her hair. Jungkook avoided his gaze, her boldness from before completely gone.
The fire that had fueled her earlier was now replaced with a soft shyness, her cheeks flushed a deep shade of pink as she glanced down at her hands.
