Jungkook received a call from the bakery with a request to deliver a batch of cookies. Despite the busy start to her new job, she agreed to help out.

She glanced at the clock, realizing she had just enough time to make the delivery. Jungkook quickly grabbed her wallet and headed out of the home.

The baker, a friendly middle-aged woman, greeted Jungkook with a smile.

"Thank you for coming on such short notice. The cookies are all packed and ready to go," the baker said, handing over a large box filled with cookies.

Jungkook took the box, "No problem at all. I'm happy to help."

.

The lights and chandeliers were flickering as the black smoke filled came inside the manor. The guests began to panic and held each other tightly in fear. Taehyung looked around ensuring his family's safety. Soomin eyes widened when she saw a large figure standing in the middle of the hall. She held taehyung's hand in a tight grip. Taehyung came in front of her mother, trying to hide her when the jinn stepped towards them.

The ground shook as the dark creature took his step barefoot. With calculative steps, taehyung began to move away from the guests and climbed the stairs. Grandma Kim thought about any way to stop all this. Jinn's hand moved towards taehyung to capture him but his hands halted when Soomin and Yi-jun poured water on him. He let out an ear-piercing scream and his body began to transform into a stone.

"Jinns are made up of fire, therefore we can stop him. But it won't last long. Taehyung, I will bring the magical lamp and you will capture this jinn in that lamp using your magical powers," Soomin ran to fetch the lamp.

Soon, a large crack appeared in the statue, it crumbled down on the floor. But it didn't last long, the crumbled pieces began to shake and started coming in their previous form.

"Taehyung, now,"

"Arathorn," a large eagle came in the direction of taehyung and turned into a wand in his hands. Taehyung pointed the wand towards Jinn and yelled in his deep baritone voice, "Spiritus Falarica"

A flash of lightning came from the wand strikes on Jin's body, but there was no impact. Taehyung tried again, but nothing happened. He looked at his mother who was crying, unable to see her mother's state, he looked forward accepting his defeat.

"I know you are here to take me. I am ready to go with you. Don't harm my family," taehyung looked at the jinn. He felt a presence beside him and saw his mother standing there.

Soomin's mind raced thoughts as she stood in the dimly lit room, facing the menacing jinn. She glanced at Yuna and then at Taehyung.

She approached Yuna and guided her by the hand toward Taehyung. Then, she intertwined Yuna's hand with Taehyung's, ensuring that their fingers were securely clasped.

"Now, let's show the jinn that it cannot break what we have," Soomin said.

"Try again, Taehyung,"

Jungkook stepped on the main gate the Kim manor, balancing several boxes filled with cookies. Unbeknownst to Jungkook, as her hand brushed against the iron gate, her presence mingled with Taehyung's spell.

Taehyung's spell struck the jinn with overwhelming force. The dark spirit writhed and struggled, its form twisting. Taehyung's eyes narrowed in concentration as he finally managed to trap the jinn into th magical lamp.

Outside, Jungkook continued her task, focused on arranging the boxes and preparing to leave.

Jungkook's touch, though unexpected, had unknowingly assisted Taehyung. Neither of them was aware of the other's influence, but their paths had crossed in an unexpected way, helping one another in the face of danger.

As soon as the jinn went inside the lamp, the incident was erased from everyone's mind except taehyung, his mother and his grandma.

Jungkook's frown deepened as she squinted at the nameplate in front of her. "Huh, house no. 56?" She glanced at the address on the delivery slip again, confusion furrowing her brow.

"Oh ho! Silly Kookie, you have to go to house no. 59," she muttered to herself, lightly smacking her forehead with her free hand. It was a habit of hers when she made a mistake.

Shaking her head in slight embarrassment, Jungkook turned on her heel and headed back towards the street. As she walked away from the Kim manor, the dark clouds that had stayed ominously began to scatter.

It's not wrong if destiny has to do some magic trick to bend the rules to intersect the paths of taehyung and Jungkook, because it's their love story, a magical one.

Time skip

"Yuna is not an ordinary girl. Did you see how Jinn was captured when taehyung held her hand," Soomin thought back to the events.

"That's why we should not delay the marriage. I will try to pursue their family to do marriage within a week,"

"Even I also want the same mother but how will they do the preparation? They had just returned from London a few days back," Soomin questioned.

"We can do all the preparations. But marriage should be as fast as it could,"

"Mom, grandma, why do you want me to get married? That jinn had been locked inside the lamp. And soon Golden Witch gave us the solution. She told us the place to hide the lamp. The matter of jinn is ceased, right? ,"

"This matter is not solved. Although the jinn is captured, he still affects you,"

"If that's the case, then I will manage. But I won't marry an innocent girl to save myself,"

"Please, just for your family,"

Everyone thinks that taehyung and Yuna's engagement is done. but they forget one thing. In between the chaos of jinn, taehyung hasn't put the ring on Yuna's finger, so their relationship is incomplete.

Next day
Kim's Manor

The Kim's magnificent manor stood tall in the vast ground, a proof of luxury. It was a huge Victorian-style building, surrounded by gardens and a tough iron fence.
Huge and Towering oak trees lined the path leading to the main entrance, their branches forming a canopyover the path.

The manor itself was an image of architectural polish, a blend of classic and modern design. Its white stone gleamed in the sunlight. A grand staircase led to the entrance, adorned with a pair of marble-crafted pillars.

The bodyguards, dressed in sharp suits and earpieces, stood at strategic intervals around the property.

Jungkook moved like a shadow through the garden, slipping past the -watchful bodyguards. She approached the manor, heart pounding in her chest.

Inside, the manor was filled with luxury, rich furnishings, fine art pieces adorning the walls, and crystal chandeliers on the ceiling throwing patterns of light across the polished marble floors. The air was scented with the subtle fragrance of fresh flowers

Jungkook crept through the opulent halls, past priceless artwork and under the portraits. Her eyes were determined to complete a mission, a mission to find her tiny and beautiful hair clips. the clips for which she can die and kill othersโ€” so possessive.

"I am sure my clips are here, my sixth sense is always right," she mumbled, biting her plump pink lips, her eyes searching the clips.

The beauty looked around, shuffling the decorations silently, slightly scared of being caught.
.
Stopping a woman, Jungkook asked, "Umm, have you seen some hair clips? They are very small, in the shape of a moon and flowers, golden-pink in colour,"

"Hair clips? Yes, I saw them in young master's hand," the lady answered.

"Where I can find the young master?" Jungkook asked smiling widely because she got her life back, the clips.

"Library, opposite to the indoor pool. There!" The lady pointed towards the direction.

Jungkook thanked her and went towards the pool, only to get stunned by the library. The library which was connected to the indoor pool, the interior and colour contrasting with the rest of the manor.

Mesmerised by the luxurious interiors, her eyes scanned the various books kept at a designated place. A couch with a table in the middle, and the pool filled with clear water provide the coldness to the large lineโ€”-A few potted plants lined on the side.

"There is no one," she thought looking around to find the young master or her clips.

"Ms Jeon,"

A deep baritone voice was heard, disturbing the serene tranquillity. Jungkook turned around and found her boss standing, hands behind his back. The male was dressed in a plain white button-up and black formal pants, sleeves rolled up and wrist adorned with the silver watch, face devoid of any emotion. She was surprised to see her boss standing in that luxurious mansion.

Jungkook, still feeling the heat from their earlier encounter, turned around to face Taehyung, her hands on her hips and her brow furrowed in frustration.

"M-Mr. Kim, what are you doing here?" she stammered, trying to regain her composure. "Look, I know I'm beautiful, smart, and kind, but that doesn't mean I want someone following me around all the time. Since that car incident, it feels like you've been popping up everywhere. I get that you're the CEO of Kim Conglomerates, but owning every place isn't exactly in the job description. You may not know this, but this house belongs to a very rich person."

Taehyung, unimpressed, rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Why do you always seem to question everything that I should be asking? And yes, this is my house."

Jungkook blinked in surprise. "Yours?"

"Yes, mine. Any problem with that? And how did you even get inside?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow, clearly irritated by her attitude.

"Hehe, I? Why would I have any problem?" Jungkook's cheeks flushed slightly as she squeezed her eyes shut, feeling embarrassed.

"Well, since you're here, care to explain what you're doing?"

Jungkook huffed, "I was just trying to get away from something. It's not every day I meet someone who's as annoying as they are good-looking. So, if you don't mind, I'd like to handle things on my own now, please return my precious babies and I will leave,"

Jungkook said forwarding her hands towards taehyung, who stood there confused.

"Babies?" "Yes, my tiny-tiny beautiful hair clips," jungkook's lips formed a natural pout.

"you mean, the thing which is put on the head?"

"Obviously,"

"how come they will be here? you should search somewhere else, careless,"

Jungkook hawed and squinted her doe eyes, pointing her finger at taehyung's chest, "Listen here Mr. Kim taehyung, you may be my Boss, but this ain't your office. And my sixth sense is always right, I'm 100% sure that my clips are here in your house. lastly, I'm not careless, Mr Ice Cube"

Unexpectedly, jungkook eyes went to space behind Taehyung, where something shiny thing was kept on the small table beside the water pool. She jumped in happiness and marched forward to grab them.

In excitement to get the clips back, Jungkook didn't notice the small puddle of water beside the table.
Jungkook's foot slipped and she looked down to see the clear crystal water. Panic engulfed her mind. Her arms hit the air to balance herself as Jungkook closed her eyes waiting for the water to engulf her dainty frame.

But before she would have drowned in the water, a strong hand grabbed her bangled wrist in a tight grip. it left her hanging with her back hanging over the water, gasping for the air from sudden shock. When the wave of shock went, her eyes opened slowly, the first thing she saw was the marvellous chandelier on the ceiling, eyes traced down on the callous face, her soft eyes locked with the charcoal blank eyes as if conveying some hidden emotions.

Their eyes were communicating without any gestures, Jungkook found herself lost because she couldn't understand the expression taehyung had held on his face.

To keep her balance, jungkook's other hand came forward to hold onto the elder male's elbow, her hand trailed upwards to the clothed bicep clutching it in her soft fist. At the next moment, She felt a hard tug that pulled her dangling body forward against the hard chest, for which she wasn't prepared, at all.

Her hand raised from her boss's bicep, tracing the distance up to his neck before combining into a shaking hold. Her glistening eyes were timid against Taehyung's intense gaze yet weren't moving away.

Their eye lock were disrupted by throat-clearing sounds. Taehyung took to the side and found Jimin smirking.

To his surprise, Taehyung's grip on Jungkook's waist faltered, which resulted in Jungkook's imbalance, and before she could react, she tumbled backwards into the pool with a splash. Jungkook gasped while falling, their locked hands made Taehyung fall with her.

they fell together in the pool and the water formed ripples around them. When they came to the surface, the water slipped from their faces, droplets clinging to their lashes and glistening on their skin. Taehyung's sharp features were framed by the shimmering droplets that glinted in the pool light. His damp hair fell in dark strands over his forehead, and the water dripping from his chin highlighted the intensity of his eyes.

Jungkook, with her hair messed around her, met his gaze. Her heart pounded, as she could feel the warmth of his body close to hers, the touch of his wet clothes brushing against her skin.

Jungkook's breath quickened when she felt Taehyung's fingers lightly trace the small of her back, his touch igniting a trail of heat that spread through her body. Her pulse raced, her chest rising and falling rapidly as the space between them decreased to nothing. The wet fabric of his clothes clung to his chiselled frame, pressing damply against her, making her aware of every inch of his body.

Her hands reached up to rest lightly against his chest. Her fingertips trembled, tracing the outline of his muscles through the thin fabric, a hesitant touch that misrepresented the storm of emotions brewing inside her.

Jungkook's eyes fluttered open, meeting Taehyung's intense gaze. The world around them seemed to blur, the only thing clear was the dark, unwavering look in his eyes, pulling her in deeper. Her lips parted slightly, a soft gasp escaping as her senses became overwhelmed by his proximity, the musky scent of his cologne made jungkook lose her sense.

A drop of water trickled down from Taehyung's hair, landing softly on Jungkook's cheek. The sensation jolted her slightly, and Jungkook moved her hand to wipe it away, but Taehyung's hand caught hers, stopping her action. Instead, his thumb brushed against her skin, wiping the mere excuse of water droplets from the snowy cheeks that turned red.

Her heart thudded loudly in her ears as Taehyung's hand slid from her wrist down to her waist, his touch unknowingly possessive. Jungkook could feel the heat of his body pressing against hers, the way his breath hitched when their bodies aligned perfectly, chest to chest. Her legs felt weak, and she instinctively leaned closer, her forehead almost touching his sturdy chest as Jungkook searched for stability in his hold.

Their intense moment was abruptly interrupted by the sound of someone clearing their throat again. Taehyung and Jungkook tore their gaze from each other, turning their heads toward the edge of the pool. Standing there, with an amused expression and a towel draped over one arm, was Jimin.

Jimin raised an eyebrow, a mischievous smirk playing on her lips. "Well, well, what do we have here? A little pool romance?"

Taehyung's grip on Jungkook loosened as reality rushed back in. He straightened, his usual stoic demeanour quickly returning as he adjusted his wet shirt. Jungkook, cheeks flushed from more than just the cold water, scrambled to regain her composure, her gaze flickering between Taehyung and the water.

Jimin tossed the towel in their direction, the smirk never leaving his face. "Thought you two might need this."

Taehyung's eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of annoyance creeping into his otherwise blank expression. He caught the towel, handing it to Jungkook before turning to climb out of the pool. Jungkook followed, her steps a little unsteady.

Taehyung shot Jimin a look that could freeze over the entire pool, but Jimin simply grinned wider, unbothered. Jungkook shivering slightly, wrapped herself in the towel, avoiding Taehyung's gaze as she tried to process everything that had just happened.

Jimin's eyes widened slightly as he took a closer look at the wet beauty.

"Jungkook?" Jimin's voice softened, disbelief and surprise laced through her tone.

Jungkook looked up at Jimin, her own confusion evident. She blinked a few times, trying to process the familiarity in Jimin's voice.

"Jimin...?" she whispered, almost afraid to believe it.

Jimin's face broke into a bright smile, one that reached her eyes and made them sparkle with warmth.

"Kookie! It's really you!" Without hesitation, Jimin stepped forward, pulling her into a tight hug, the towel around her dropping slightly as she was enveloped in his arms.

Jungkook's shock quickly melted into joy as she hugged him back, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes. "Jimin! I can't believe it! After all this time..."

Jimin pulled back just enough to look at her face, hands resting on Jungkook shoulder, "I thought I'd lost you forever, Kookie. I searched for so long... How did you end up here?"

Jungkook laughed, the sound mixed with a sob as she wiped at her eyes. "It's a long story... but I'm here now. I can't believe I found you, or rather, you found me."

Taehyung felt a strange pang in his chest as he observed the deep bond between them. He didn't interrupt and busied himself in drying his wet hair.

Jimin's smile grew even wider, "You have no idea how much I missed you, Kookie. My best friend... my little troublemaker."

Jungkook chuckled, "I missed you too, Jimin. So much."

"We have so much to catch up on," Jimin said, "But first, let's get you out of these wet clothes before you catch a cold."

Jungkook nodded and Jimin led her outside, throwing a glance over her shoulder at Taehyung. Jimin made Jungkook sit in the very first room once they exited the pool area.

"You stay here, I will bring my spare clothes," Jimin spoke and left.

After Jimin left, Jungkook remained rooted to the spot, her mind replaying the recent moments. Her cheeks flushed a deep pink as she recalled the way Taehyung's intense gaze locked onto hers in the pool, how close they had been, and the warmth of his hand on her waist. Her heart raced, the memory sending a flutter through her chest. She bit her lip, trying to suppress a smile, but the heat in her cheeks betrayed her.

She instinctively brought a hand to her cheek, feeling the warmth of her blush. "Why does he have to be so...so intense?" she muttered to herself, her heart fluttering in her chest.

Then, Jungkook shook her head, crossed her arms and pouted, "This is all his fault," she complained under her breath. "If he hadn't let go of me like that, I wouldn't be standing here all wet and flustered."

Her brows furrowed, and Jungkook stomped her foot lightly in frustration, even though the thought of him still made her heart skip a beat. Jungkook fumbled with the clips, trying to pin her damp hair up as best as she could. She grumbled under her breath. She breathed in relief as she finally got her hair clipped up, giving herself a quick look in the mirror.

Yi-jun was putting floral buds on the marble floor when Soomin came to her, "Mom, this?" She gestured at the buds.

Yi-jun stood up and asked, "Did you keep the lamp where I asked to?"

"Yes, taehyung had buried the lamp and sealed it with the magical powers. But all this-"

"Rosie had given me these flower buds years ago. These buds are from the tree which would never bloom. It is barren."

"So, why have you kept them safely?"

"They will guide us on the path to Alara. The girl who is blessed with a divine heart. When she will cross these buds, they will bloom,"

"But we know that Yuna is the Alara, then why?

"For taehyung's life,"

"I hope everything will get better,"

"It will just keep the patience. We just need to wait for Alara to cross the buds,"

Jungkook walked through the manor searching for the exit, doe eyes noticing the decorations, "seems like there is some wedding in Mr Kim's house." She mumbled.
Unaware of anything, jungkook stepped the floral buds. Gradually they all began to bloom. The green buds bloomed into bright white colour flowers, releasing a beautiful fragrance from them.

"Jiminie said her brother is very sweet and handsome. Well, I'll give him the handsome part, but sweet? Not at all. That ice cube of a person just shows up wherever I go and then puts on this cold CEO attitude. Seriously, does he think that's charming? It's not. He's like one of those statuesโ€”nice to look at but totally unapproachable."

Jungkook pouted, her lips forming a small, annoyed pout as she continued. "And to think Jiminie's all, 'Oh, my brother is so great!' Yeah, right. If by great she means 'mannerless' and 'clueless about how to treat a beautiful individual like me,' then sure. I feel so sorry for his future wife. May God bless her with endless patience to deal with that iceberg."

"Actually, no! May he get a witch as his wife! A vampire who would suck his blood!" Jungkook grumbled and made her way outside, passing from Yi-jun and Soomin's side.

Yi-jun looked at buds which are now bloomed into a big white flower, she followed the path and found Yuna standing at the entrance, clad in heavy diamond and ancestral gold jewellery and deep red bridal attire. Her parents standing by her side.
Yi-jun hugged Soomin when she found that Yuna was indeed the Alara, she smiled brightly in happiness. Is it?

Soomin with her mother-in-law went towards the bride's family and greeted them, later sending them to the room to rest till the marriage started.
