Kagami looked at Inuyasha in shock as Kaede stood in front of her, Kagome grabbed her hand in comfort and the villagers began to surround the smirking half-demon.

" Pay no heed to Inuyasha, Child " Kaede said reassuringly.

' The sacred jewel makes monsters more powerful.......is it cursed? ' Kagami thought as she looked at the glowing jewel in her hand.

" I hate having to wait " Inuyasha growled " And I hate the smell of you and the other one " Inuyasha ran forward before jumping in the air and towards Kagami, who quickly ran away, the girl gasped when she tripped over one of mistress centipede's bones and just narrowly dodged Inuyasha's attack, Kagami gritted her teeth as she slid against the dirt.

" Want me to scratch your back " Inuyasha mocked as Kagome held her sister stand. 

" You really tired kill me just now didn't you " Kagami snapped.

" Shot him.....shoot him " the villagers yelled before shooting arrows at Inuyasha, who just swatted them away with his hand, the half-demon then ran towards them and slashed the trees behind the villagers as they all yelled trying to get away and the trees landed on the ground with a loud bang.

" Run " Kagome demanded to her little sister and Kagami took off into a spirt, while the half-demon was distracted.

Inuyasha leaps onto one of the tree stumps " Who do you people think I am? You think you can hurt me like I did that centipede " Inuyasha declared.

" Lady Kaede, perhaps that arrow sealing spell shouldn't of been removed " a villager said frantically.

" Oh, for pity's sake....that trouble making hellion " Kaede said as she grabbed a black and white beaded necklace from her robes.

" what's that for? " Kagome asked confused as she approached the old woman.

" To stop Inuyasha " the old woman replied.

Kagami continued running and gasped when she noticed that Inuyasha had caught up to her.

" Prepare, yourself " Inuyasha yelled as he ran after the short black-haired girl.

" Prepare myself? How can I? " Kagami yelled as she ran harder, Inuyasha attacked the ground next to her causing the teenager to go flying as she screamed.

Kagami slid against the floor for what felt like the 100th time today, the girl slowly sat up at looked at the ground and gasped when she saw large and deep claw marks imbedded in the ground.

" Now it's mine " Inuyasha said as he leaped towards the jewel.

Kaede stood in a prayer stance as the necklace she held began to glow and break apart towards Inuyasha and Kagami's direction, Inuyasha gasped as the glowing beads formed into a necklace on his neck and he landed on a nearby rock.

" What is this? " Inuyasha yelled as Kagami gasped looking at the dog-man.

" Kagami, recite the word to hold Inuyasha spirit " Kaede yelled as the villagers gasped.

" Huh? What? " Kagami yelled back confused.

" Just say something to subjugate Inuyasha " Kaede yelled as Kagami grabbed the jewel in front of her and stood up as she continued to run, she stopped at a small cliff and screamed as it broke under the girls weight, she landed on her butt and she moved onto her hands and knees as she looked up and saw the jewel rolling towards the bridge, she gasped.

Inuyasha leaped out from the trees " Subjugate me, will you? You fool " he said mocking the girl.

" Subjugate him? But what do I say? " Kagami questioned as she stood up.

Inuyasha landed on the bridge as the jewel rolled towards him, Kagami looked at him trying to think of a word, she gasped as she noticed Inuyasha's ears twitching.

" That's it......umm, uhhh....." Kagami stuttered before yelling " S....S.....Sit! " Inuyasha grunted as he was forcefully pulled to the ground by his glowing necklace, Kagami slowly walked onto the bridge " It held him " Kagami said.

" Wh-What is this?! Damn it " Inuyasha yelled as he tried pulling of the necklace as it glowed and wouldn't budge of off his neck.

" It's useless, Inuyasha " Kaede said from the top of the cliff as she looked down at the Half-demon and human girl " Your powers cannot remove, the rosary ".

" Shut up, old hag! " Inuyasha yelled with an annoyed tone, he then stood up and pointed at Kaede " You're first in line, tho' you look half dead already ".

" The word " Kaede said to Kagami.

" Sit " Kagami said sternly as Inuyasha's rosary began to glow and forcefully pulled him to the ground, which caused the wood of the bridge below him to break, he yelled as he fell into the river.

Now, then......let us return to the village " Kaede said as Kagami looked at river, where Inuyasha had landed.

" How weird " Kagami muttered " All I said was ' sit ' ".

It was now morning and Kagami and Kagome now sat in Kaede's hut with Kaede, the girls and Inuyasha as Kaede patched up Kagami's wound from mistress centipede.

" How's that? Perhaps, I'll put more salve on your belly? " Kaede said as she dressed Kagami's wound.

" oww " Kagami winced before saying " I noticed, you're rebuilding the houses wrecked by mistress centipede....what a pain "

" Pain, yes and just beginning now that the sacred jewel has reappeared, there will be others, who seek to possess it " Kaede told the girl.

" Like yesterday " Kagome sighed.

" And not just demons, but also humans, who have evil in their hearts. With all the violence in the world, it follows there will be those, who seek the jewels power to realise their greedy ambitions " Kaede continued.

" Huh " Kagami sighed before turning to her side and looked at Inuyasha " Hey, why are you here, anyways? " she asked inuyasha, who was lying on his side a few steps away from Kaede and the sisters with his back facing them, defiantly.

Inuyasha turns his head slightly " Give me the jewel " The half-demon demanded.

" It seems the holding power of the rosary is quite effective, even if he gets near the sacred jewel, we do not have to worry " Kaede reassured Kagami.

" Why do you want the sacred jewel? You're awfully strong right now? " Kagami asked as she opens her palm and looked at the sacred jewel " You don't really need its power, do you? ".

" He is only half-demon " Kaede stated.

Inuyasha punched the floor violently causing the wood to break under his fist " You old hag, who do you think you are, anyways? Don't talk as if you know anything about me " Inuyasha shouted.

" Don't you understand? I guess it can't be helped, I am the younger sister of Kikyo, the one who put the spell on you, I am Kaede " Kaede informed the half-demon.

" Kaede " Inuyasha pondered for a moment before remembering " So.......you're that brat? ".

" Fifty years have passed and I have grown " Kaede replied.

" And that means.......Kikyo must be really old now too......humans age so easily, that's the way it goes" Inuyasha said aloof.

" My sister Kikyo......died " Kaede said solemnly making Inuyasha stiffen " On the same day that she shot the spellbound arrow at you " Kaede finished as she threw some fire wood into the fire.

" So that's how it went.....she kicked the bucket, Huh " Inuyasha scoffed and lied on his side again " What a relief " Inuyasha sighed in relief but Kagami could hear a hint of sadness in his voice.

" Inuyasha, it is too early to breathe a sigh of relief..........Kagome, you are the reincarnation of my sister, Kikyo and you, Kagami are the reincarnation of my other sister Ayame " Kaede said.

" What " The sisters yelled in surprise.

" It's no just your appearance or psychic powers.....but the fact that you, Kagami carried the sacred jewel within yourself, that is irrefutable proof " Kaede told them.

Kagami and Kagome are walking as the younger girl looked at the sacred jewel attacked to her neck by a necklace.

" You must protect the sacred jewel, Kagami " Kaede said.

" I must protect this jewel?......that's ridiculous " Kagami muttered as some villagers on top of a mound are looking at girls. 

" They're what? High Priestess Kikyo's? And Ayame's "

" When you think about it, they do seem quite saintly...".

" What's going on? ".

" The kids are reincarnation of High Priestess Kikyo and Ayame ".

" Watch your language, show some respect for the young ladies ".

" The ' Young Lady ' is a reincarnation ".

Kagami takes her gaze off, the sacred jewel, when her sister nudges her and turns to see all the villagers on the mound are grasping their hands together tightly and bowed at the girls.

" They're worshiping us " the girls thought before quickly ran off panicked.

Inuyasha is sitting on a tree branch, some distance from the village.

" So....she's dead " Inuyasha sighed sadly as he looks into the distance.

Suddenly something appears and flies at Inuyasha's back, his hand quickly caught it and looked at it and saw a pear as Kagami approached from below inuyasha, carrying some stuff that was wrapped in a cloth tied around her shoulders.

" Here, I'll share with you " Kagami smiled.

" What?.......what's with all that food? " Inuyasha asked confused.

" The villagers offering.....say, can't you come down? Let's eat together " Kagami told him.

It was now nighttime and Kagami was laying on the floor of a hut in a futon, about to fall asleep.

" It's been two days since we arrived here. Gramps.....Sota....Mom......they all must be so worried, I've got to find a way home " Kagami thought before closing her eyes.

Outside the hut, a flock of crows rest on a tree. One of them glows and reveals three eyes, it zooms in on the hut Kagami's in and noticed the sacred jewel around her neck, Inuyasha suddenly appears and claws at the crows and they fly off into the sky.

" Great, they've followed the scent of the jewel, nasty vermin " Inuyasha scoffed.

Kagami is waking away from the village into the forest " Inuyasha's Forest......The Dry Well......I climbed out of there, so shouldn't it have a clue about how me and Kagome get home " she thought as she walked.

" Kagami?..........Kagami?........" Kaede and Kagome yelled as they walked around, searching for Kagami.

Three villagers walk up to her.

" She's nowhere to be found in the village ".

" She couldn't have left the village alone?.......I ought to have explained to her in more detail about the evil ones, who seek the sacred jewel " Kaede sighed as nobody noticed a certain half-demon standing on a roof, listening to the conversation.

Kagami is walking as a few mercenaries appear among the bushes and followed her, she reaches The Dry Well as she laughed happily.

" Found it.....The Dry Well, we came out of " Kagami smiled.

Suddenly the mercenaries pounced on her, covering her mouth as she let out a muffled gasp in surprise.

One of the mercenaries pin Kagami to the ground as she lets out a pained cry.

" Boss, I captured her just like you ordered " the first mercenary said.

" She really has some strange clothes on? What's this flimsy wrap around? " a bandit said smirking pervertly as he lifted up Kagami's skirt.

" Cut it out, you pervert " Kagami shouted as she shooted up and holding the back of her skirt.

" Well, you asked for it....exposing yourself like that, marry me and I'll buy you something nicer " The bandit said looking at Kagami hungrily.

" Wh-Who are you guys? " Kagami asked freaked out.

" Give me the jewel " the boss of the mercenaries said in a low and monotonous voice, the bosses big structure walked over to the girl, he unsheathed his sword as two mercenaries grabbed Kagami's arms.

" Hey, wait " Kagami yelled as she struggled to get out of the mercenaries hold.

" Hey, boss. Slice 'er in half, in one big Swift stroke " A bandit requested.

" Let me go, assholes " Kagami yelled still struggling.

" Start praying " a bandit smirked.

Kagami closed her eyes as the boss swung the katana at them but Instead of aiming it Kagami, he sliced one of his minions instead as Kagami opened her eyes and everyone gasped in shock.

" B-Boss " the injured bandit gasped in shock but the falls to the ground.

" Made a mistake " The boss muttered monotoned and readies for another attack.

The mercenaries ran from him in fear, the boss swings his sword clumsily several times but the mercenaries manage to dodge.

" Boss, where are you aiming? It's her? Aren't you gonna slay this girl? " a mercenary questioned and pushed Kagami towards the boss.

" What are you doing? There's something wrong with your boss? " Kagami snapped angrily as she slapped their hands away " Snap out of it or it'll be your turn next, don't you get it? " she demanded at the group of mercenaries but their boss swings at them and they quickly dodged and fled in a different direction.

" No...Will someone tell me, why is it that me, who hasn't done a thing has to go through this " Kagami questioned to herself as she ran.

Inuyasha leaps across a pond in the forest and onto a tree branch onto a tree and sniffed the air " Oh, great. That stupid girl? Where'd she go with the jewel " Inuyasha huffed annoyed.

The boss is still swinging violently but clumsily at various things and directions, he hits one of the pillars and the roof starts to collapse. One of the mercenaries is trapped under the rubble and Kagami quickly ran towards him with a few other mercenaries.

" Are you alright? " Kagami asked worried.

" The exit is blocked " a mercenary yelled scared.

" Can you stand? " Kagami asked as she helped the mercenary out of the rubble.

" Thank you very much, thank you " the mercenary thanked the black haired girl, relived.

" The jewel.......give me the sacred jewel " the boss demanded.

" He wants the jewel, if I get rid of it, he won't come after us " Kagami thinks as she remembered Kaede's words about the jewel before moving away from the boss " But why me? Anyways......I have to get out of here? "

Kagami carried the injured mercenary and takes a few steps sideways and the mercenaries hide behind her, when she moves a few steps more and the mercenaries tumbled behind her again.

" H-Hey " Kagami scoffed annoyed.

" Hehehe " the mercenaries laughed uneasy and the boss attacks the group but misses and crashed into the wall.

Kagami passes the injured mercenary to the rest.

" I know, take him " Kagami ordered and takes the sacred jewel from the necklace around her neck and throws it out the window.

" The jewel......the sacred jewel " The boss said.

" Now, let's all push against the wall " Kagami ordered the mercenaries.

" Boss, it's no good " one mercenary tells Kagami after they pushed the wall with the other mercenaries but it didn't budge.

" I am not your boss " Kagami replied annoyed as the boss swung his sword at her and Kagami closed her eyes waiting for the blow but suddenly Inuyasha crashes in from one of the walls and blocks the sword from hitting Kagami causing it to break in two.

" Inuyasha " Kagami smiled happily. 

Inuyasha punched the boss in the face several times and he falls backwards onto the ground, the mercenaries run past him and Kagami , escaped through the hole in the wall.

" Boss, we're going ahead " one of the mercenaries said.

" Thanks again " The injured mercenary said before the mercenaries all left.

" You came to help me " Kagami said looking at Inuyasha hopefully.

" Is it safe? The Sacred Jewel? " Inuyasha demanded.

" Of course " Kagami scoffed.

" I'm asking you, if the sacred jewel is safe " Inuyasha demanded furiously.

Kagami laughed nervously and the boss walked over to them and Kagami quickly hid behind inuyasha.

" What's that smell? That putrid smell? " Inuyasha said as he covered his mouth with the sleeve of his red kimono.

One of the buckles on the bosses clothes snapped off, revealing a hole in his chest, three eyes peered out of the hole and a caw was heard, it was the crow from the village last night.

" Oh My God " Kagami groaned grossed out.

" His heart must've been torn apart a couple of nights ago, then it nested in there " Inuyasha said in realisation. 

" That is so gross, man " Kagami groaned again in disgust.

" Corpse crows aren't strong, they use dead bodies to fight " Inuyasha explained and kicks the ground and aimed for the crow " Disgusting ".

Inuyasha plunges his hand into the bosses chest, where the crow was but the crow escaped from the hole in the bosses back. Inuyasha takes his hand out and goes to the side and the boss fall towards the ground as his flesh disintegrated at the same time. The crow flies out of the window.

" It go away....shouldn't you go after it? " Kagami asked Inuyasha.

" I can't go after every stupid demon, there's only one of me, after all " Inuyasha said flexing his arms.

" That's not what I meant " Kagami said frustrated thinking about that jewel outside. 

" Forget it, I'm the only one doing the fighting " Inuyasha scoffed as the corpse crow picks up the sacred jewel with it's beak " Now what about the sacred jewel? " Inuyasha asked before he noticed the crow taking the sacred jewel from the window " Ahh, is that the sacred jewel in the crows beak " Inuyasha exclaimed angrily he then turned to Kagami" Why you...".

" I-I never said anything about having it on me " Kagami shrugged.

"Follow me " Inuyasha said as he crashed out of the hut and grabbed onto Kagami hand. He stops, when he noticed a quiver of arrows and a bow on the back of a horse, he quickly takes the weapon and leaps into the air with Kagami on his back.

" No way, it's gettin' away " Inuyasha said determined.

Inuyasha is leaping high into the air as he chased the crow.

" What are you doing? Hurry up and shoot it down " Inuyasha barked at Kagami.

" Are you insane? I've never shot an arrow while moving before " Kagami snapped.

" The Corpse Crow survives by eating human flesh with the sacred jewel, it might transform " Inuyasha informed her and the crow swallowed the jewel.

" It just swallowed the jewel " Kagami sighed before becoming determined " I'll try but don't hate me even more, if I fail ".

" Alright " Inuyasha replied before thinking " once that crow is shot down, I won't need a girl like her " Inuyasha then tells Kagami" Make it one shot, Kikyo was a master archer ".

" I am Kagami " Kagami reminded him before thinking " But if it's okay Kikyo, please lead me your power".

" Please hit it " kagami pleaded as the arrows fired and missed the crow, a shocked Inuyasha fell to the ground.

" Erm....I told you, I've never used these while moving before " Kagami said sheepishly as she looked at Inuyasha.

" Then you must be a klutz " Inuyasha yelled exasperated as the crow transformed " Look, now it's getting bigger " Inuyasha snapped as he gets up and runs at the crow with Kagami on his back.

" Aim " Inuyasha demanded and Kagami fires another arrow but it once again misses the crow.

Suddenly inuyasha stops and let's go of Kagami causing her to fall to the ground on her butt.

" Owww " Kagami groaned as she rubbed her sore butt.

" Now, I get it " Inuyasha yelled at Kagami as he pointed a finger at the girl " No way, you're Ayame reincarnated, now I know not to expect anything " Inuyasha yelled before he runs off not noticing the hurt look on Kagami's face.

" Inuyasha " Kagami yelled.

The corpse crow flies over a river in the village, several villagers are spanning across the river, including a woman with her toddler. The crow swooped down and flies off with him in his claws.

" My son " the woman yelled frantically.

" Looking for food, already? Well, you'd better think about running away from me first, you can't hunt, if you're bein' hunted " Inuyasha said to the crow, while running on top of the trees on the back of the river.

" No...inuyasha, save the child " Kagami pleaded with the half-demon as she ran onto the bridge.

" Stupid " Inuyasha muttered before leaping towards the crow " Iron reaper, soul stealer " Inuyasha clawed at the crow and the crow's body is clawed to pieces, which fall into the river with the toddler, the toddler struggles desperately in the rapid river but Inuyasha is only concerned with the jewel.

" Where is it? " Inuyasha said desperately as he lands on a rock in the river " Where's the sacred jewel ".

The toddler is being washed away by the current, his mother and the villagers run along the riverbank, chasing the toddler.

" My son, Shokichi " The mother yelled out worried.

Kagami followed the villagers but suddenly, she stops and takes off her socks and shoes and dived into the river and swims towards the child.

" I'm so glad, I'm such a good swimmer " Kagami thought.

" How is she doin' that? " a villager asked amazed.

" So fast, she must be a kappa....a water imp, first time I saw one up close " another villagers said amazed.

" Help " Shokichi yelled.

Kagami reached the toddler and swims backwards with him.

" Hang on, relax " Kagami reassured the boy.

" The kappa is swimmin' on it's back impossible " the villager said dramatically.

" I'll kappa you, you stupid—" Kagami muttered annoyed.

" Hey girl, where's the sacred jewel? " Inuyasha yelled at Kagami as she reached the riverback and got out of the water and Shokichi ran towards his mother.

" Ma, I was so scared " Shokichi sobbed.

Kagami glared at Inuyasha and turned away from him, indignant.

" Wh-What? " Inuyasha gaped in shock.

" Thanks, big sister " Shokichi said thanking Kagami.

" Thank you, thank you so much " the mother said bowing to Kagami gratefully.

" It's okay, really " Kagami smiled embarrassed as under the water of the river, pieces of the crow joined back together and flies out of the water and into the air.

" Damn " Inuyasha cursed and then turned to Kagami " It's gettin' away ".

" I guess this is no time to be holding a grudge, right now " Kagami muttered.

The crows claw that was still attached to the boys back, tugs on him and Shokichi gasped in terror.

" That's right " Kagami muttered then turned to a villager " May, I use your bow and arrow? " she asked.

" Huh? But it's so far away..." the village stated confused as a silhouette of the cow is far off in the distance.

" no way, she'll get it " Inuyasha grumbled.

" This time, for sure.......I'll get it " Kagami said confidently and fired an arrow with the claw of the crow tied onto it.

" She attached the foot of the corpse crow on the arrow...." Inuyasha said surprised and a little impressed.

" The crow's foot will be drawn by the power of the sacred jewel " Kagami thought relived at her quick thinking as the arrow hits the crow and shattered it into pieces.

The sacred jewel that was inside of the crow's body shattered into tiny little pieces, emitting a bright light.

" I did it " Kagami smiled.

" She got it " Inuyasha said in disbelief.

" But.....what's that light? " Kagami sighed.

The light from the sacred jewel, suddenly dispersed in many different directions.

" Priestess Kaede.....up in the sky " a villager said as he pointed up to the sky.

" I've got a bad feeling about this....." Kaede sighed.

It's was evening in the forest as Inuyasha and Kagami are searching the area.

" Are you sure, it's around here? " Inuyasha huffed.

" Yeah.....I feel it.....but I wonder......what that light was " Kagami sighed.

The head of the corpse crow appears suddenly and caws at them, flying in Kagami direction and Inuyasha rushed in front of Kagami and clawed at the head.

" Die " Inuyasha growled annoyed at the crow as a glowing fragment falls out of the crow and lands on the ground.

" Could this be......" Kagami trailed off.

" Could this be—what " Inuyasha said slowly.

" A fragment of the sacred jewel " Kagami said nervously.

" Wh........what did you just say? " Inuyasha yelled.
