The sound of thunder resonated throughout the forest. Gentle raindrops fall from the sky as four individuals travel through the humid forest. "Hey Captain, what are we trying to find here?" The man with a scar on his neck questioned the short blonde man, "A seal." The blonde man answered. "What seal are you talking about Captain?" A young man levitated near him sought "The seal of The Scarlet Rose." He answered "What...? Captain but that seal doesn't exist." King stated, "It does and it's around here." Meliodas said. "The seal of The Scarlet Rose?" Ban asked, "It's the seal in which the First Fairy Queen was sealed away 3000 years ago." Gowther answered, "Okay so Captain, you know this person?" Ban asked Meliodas, although the blonde didn't answer and kept walking. The other three looked at each other due to confusion. After 30 minutes of walking trying to find the seal, they eventually caught sight of it. Ban whistled at how the structure looked.

It has a rose symbol in the middle of two arches that has vines around them. "It's here, now I want all of you to destroy that symbol," Meliodas said and readied his attack the other three did the same, and all of them aimed for the symbol. With all the power they have, the symbol is shattered. The ground quivered and a swirl of black energy started where the symbol resides moments ago. "Captain this is..." King examined, "Yeah, it's a space distortion room spell." Meliodas answered. The swirl began to get bigger and the winds created from it were getting tougher to keep your feet onto the ground. "Damn this is tough." Ban said, "The magic is seeping through it," Meliodas thought. The swirl stopped but a light formed blinding the four, it passed and there revealed an opening. 

"No way, this energy. It's from the fairy race but it's also mixed with something else. Something dark. And the magic coming out of the entrance it's, it's..." King said "It smells like death," Ban finishes for him. Suddenly something was walking towards them, "Meliodas how long...has it been?" The voice questioned. "3000 years." Meliodas said, "I see..." The voice said. As the figure approaches it revealed itself before them.

"You're, first fairy queen Lilian."

"You're wings they're hurt."

"Geez, you sleep a lot."

"Lilian be my queen."

"Thank you for staying by my side Lilian, I Love you."

Where...am I..? Surely, a while ago, I was with the others.

"Stay strong Lia..."

Meliodas? Where are you?

Lilian's eyes opened. She sat up quickly and placed a hand on her head and sat there confused about what happened. "So, you've awakened." A voice said, Lilian quickly glanced at the person who spoke. "Gloxinia..." Lilian said, Gloxinia approached her and pulled her close to him "I've missed you my Scarlet Rose." Gloxinia said, "Did you?" Lilian said, doubt lacing through her voice. "Now don't be like that," Gloxinia said. "How can't I! You joined the demon race, betrayed your people, and even left me..." Lilian yelled at him as she cried, "Lilian, I had no choice at that time," Gloxinia reasoned with her. "What do you mean? You fought with your friend! The two of you! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!" Lilian exclaimed and cried. She raised her arm out in the air, Gloxinia closed his eyes expecting to be hit. But instead, Lilian hugged him and cried on his chest. "I've missed you too." Lilian sobbed out, Gloxinia hugged her back and comforted her. "Meliodas where is he? What happened to him?" Lilian questioned. Gloxinia looks away, "Estarossa killed him." Gloxinia answered tears welled up once more and Lilian sobbed once again.

Gloxinia could only comfort her with this, after a while, she calmed down. "By the way, where are we?" Lilian said, "We're in Ore Tree Orudora, a hideout for me and Drole." Gloxinia said. "I see, where's Drole?" Lilian said, "Oh he's out somewhere, he'll return shortly." Gloxinia said and they sat down, "Lili, can you remember what happened when I left at that time?" Gloxinia said. "Well, Rou's men attacked us and I got injured badly. They took me to Elizabeth and she healed me, after that, it's kinda blurry. I remember getting angry, and like something exploded from within me. Then I saw Meliodas and Elizabeth with guilt written on their faces, then I woke up in the space distortion room." Lilian explained. "I see," Gloxinia spoke, silence surrounded them but it wasn't an awkward one. It was a comfortable one. Enjoying one another's presence. "I and Drole are gonna quit the Ten Commandments." Gloxinia spoke, "You're gonna quit?" Lilian said in disbelief "Yeah when I found out that you were alive I was already thinking of it, and that I need to avoid you from them." Gloxinia said, "Right, since I have some power that the demons want." Lilian said, "If I could somehow master it, I could use it against them." Lilian added.

"Right, the first order of business before abducting the current fairy king and that giant girl is to train that magic of yours." Gloxinia said. Lilian looked at him. "Hm?" Gloxinia said, "Why are you gonna abduct Harlequin and Diane?" Lilian asked "Well, we have an eye for them. If we get to help them train their abilities they'll be able to face the Ten Commandments," Gloxinia explained. "Ohh," Lilian said, "It seems you've awoken, Lilian." Lilian turned around to see who it is and smiled, "Hello Drole," Lilian greeted.

After a while of explaining the reason they joined the Ten Commandments and also catching up a bit, Lilian went outside and tried to use Chaos magic "I have to be careful on using it, don't want to be detected." Lilian muttered, she thought of ways on how to activate it. "Think of Chaos, Annihilation, Death." A voice said "Huh? What the...that voice it sounds familiar." Lilian thought. "Well, it said to think of those," Lilian muttered as she cupped her hands. After a while, something inside her awakened. As she opened her eyes, her pupils are diamond-shaped. Like a cat. Her Magenta orbs turned bright red, and a ball of red energy with black swirls is present in her hands. "This is..." Lilian said and released the power in front of her, and instantly. That part of the forest turned black, trees crumbled, animals were dead. Instant death and destruction. Lilian couldn't believe her eyes, "I could do this...?" she said in disbelief.

Her eyes going back to their original color. "Who am I exactly?" Lilian thought and looked at her hands, "You're certainly a fairy," Someone spoke Lilian turned around, it's Gloxinia. "But it's also possible that you're mixed with something else," Gloxinia said, "Try using that technique again." He said. Lilian did but before she released it, Gloxinia stopped her. "With that kind of magnitude, the results will unquestionably be the same," Gloxinia explained "So that means I have to somehow not do it again, but how?" Lilian said, "Think of what survives and what doesn't survive," The same voice said once more. Lilian didn't question it and did exactly what the voice said. She released and only the animals survived, "Apologies for this forest," Lilian said. "Great job, train like this and surely you'll get the hang of it." Gloxinia complimented and ruffled her hair, Lilian smiled. Gloxinia froze and before Lilian knows it, he kissed her.

Lilian kissed back and wrapped her arms around his neck. While Gloxinia placed his arms around her waist. It was a sweet and passionate kiss. Until someone cleared their throat and ruined the moment, "Damnit Drole," Gloxinia said and Lilian only giggled. "I suggest we head back," Drole said and they did. A month has passed and during those days Lilian keeps learning on how to control her new power, "For every death I witness, it gets stored up inside me. And when it's ready it'll explode, just like my Trigger." Lilian recited in her mind. She learned how to control that power using her emotion of hatred towards the demons.

Lilian was taking a nap in the Ore Tree Orudora while Drole and Gloxinia retrieve King and Diane.

"I'm sorry Lilian, please live."

"My dear Lilian, this will be my gift for you. A way for making up for the coming days that we're not with you."

"Lilian, My Love there here." Gloxinia wakes up Lilian, she sat up and rubbed her eyes. They flew down to where they are, "Alright you two wake up." Drole said. Both King and Diane woke up, wondering where they are and then realized Gloxinia and Drole are standing in front of them. "Drole, Gloxinia you're behind this," King said and saw Lilian beside Gloxinia "Lady Lilian! What are you doing here?" King asked "Well..." Lilian said and kind of looked away looking for a reason to be with them. "Because she's my wife and needs to be at my side." Gloxinia answered for Lilian. "You kidnapped her!" King said, "All I did was bring back what's mine." Gloxinia said. King and Diane prepare to fight, "Go all out from the start okay?" King said to Diane. "That's a good plan of attack.

With your level of magical abilities unless you come at us ready to die," Gloxinia said as he summoned his Spirit Spear. "The fun wouldn't last 3 seconds." Gloxinia finished and attacked King, "My Scarlet Rose, avert yourself from the battle." Gloxinia said and Lilian levitates back to a corner where she'll watch them fight. King gets easily overpowered by Gloxinia, while Diane's attacks do not have any effect on Drole, who just dances around her attacks and easily knocks her down. Gloxinia commented that it is quite unprecedented that at this point the Fairy King still does not have wings. King tells Gloxinia to just finish them and Gloxinia agreed they will do unless they can fulfill their expectations and surpass them. Lilian went back to Gloxinia's side while he uses his spear to heal both Diane and King. "All the drops I've been saving, they're all gone." Gloxinia said, "You could've asked me to use Recovery on them." Lilian said.

"Yeah, but I didn't want you to use your magic," Gloxinia answers while Lilian pouts. "What's going on here, are just going to mock how weak we are?" King said, "From this moment on we're going to train you from the ground up, you can thank us later." Gloxinia declared, "Huh? What's that supposed to mean?" King said in confusion "It's like what he said Harlequin, they're gonna train you," Lilian stated. "But what about you Lady Lilian?" King asked, "I'm gonna train of course. I need to master my other magic." Lilian answered. "You two are far too fragile. At least for now." Drole commented, "Like Meliodas would say," Gloxinia said and ruffled his hair to be like his and said, "There's no time like the present to stop sucking." Gloxinia tried to mimic Meliodas' voice which caused Lilian and Drole to laugh. "Hey, haven't heard you guys laugh like that in ages," Gloxinia said, "How careless of me," Drole said and Lilian's laughter quiets down and cleared her throat.

King can not understand what is going on, but Drole explains they will train them and while they are from the Ten Commandments, they are not from the Demon Clan and in fact, they used to fight against the Demon Clan as the King of Giants and King & Queen of Fairies. "But during that battle, we were forced to make a choice, and ended up to what you see us now." Drole explains "While my Scarlet Rose here was sealed away for her safety. And because she had a power in which the demon king wanted." Gloxinia added while he kept Lilian close to him, "Seriously?" King said in disbelief. "Fairies are born from the Sacred Tree, in my case I was found by Gloxinia in the Rose Garden. So my past is still a mystery to me." Lilian said "You've sensed it as well, Harlequin. When I came out of the Space Distortion Room I had an ominous aura around me." Lilian added.

"According to Meliodas this power she has brings total annihilation of everything but, she has the authority on what survives or what dies." Gloxinia explained further. They believe they made the right decision on joining them until the recent exchange of blows with Meliodas, "And we'd like your help in trying to prove that, we wanna know if this was the right choice or if we're just kidding ourselves." Gloxinia said, he explained that this trial will help them grow greatly, but if they made a mistake, they could die. King and Diane then immediately agreed to do it and Gloxinia then casts a spell on them. King and Diane were there unconscious, Lilian's head began to throb. "Lili!" Gloxinia said in worry. "My head it hurts..." Lilian groaned, her eyes transformed to the form when she first used Chaos Magic. And she fell unconscious, Gloxinia caught her and panicked. "Lili!" Gloxinia said in distress, then marks went up to her face. "Rose marks?" Gloxinia said.

"What's going on,"

"I'm not sure but, Lilian may be on her trial," Drole explained, Gloxinia looked at her worriedly "Please make the right decisions, Lili." He whispered to her. And they both waited.

Chapter 9 finished phew. The next chapter might be interesting for you guys, it's about Lilains parents and how she got the Chaos magic. Well, there's a clue on how though in the story. I'll try extra hard to make it interesting so stay tuned.
