Cassie's POV  (10 Years Later)

As I stand making breakfast, I feel arms wrap around my waist and I smile, turning my head to see Rafe grinning at me. He pecks my lips and lays his head on my shoulder as I finish up.

"Morning, babe" He hums.

"Morning, Rafie" I grin, stacking pancakes onto four plates.

"Mom, are they done yet?" My eight year old daughter April whines.

"Just finished, sweetheart" I sing, grabbing two plates and carrying them over to the kitchen island.

I place one plate in front of April and the other in front of my ten year old son Apollo, who is the double of his father. Rafe brings over the other two plates and we sit down with them. April drowns her pancakes in chocolate sauce and Apollo pours golden syrup on his, giving his sister a disgusted look. I elbow my son gently and he grins at me mischievously, handing his father the syrup as April passes the chocolate sauce to me with a toothy smile.

"Don't get any chocolate on your dress, April. We don't have time to change or we'll be late to Aunt Sarah and Uncle John's barbecue" I warn her and she nods happily, digging into her breakfast.

I share an amused smile with Rafe who grabs a napkin, tucking it into the front of her blue sundress. 

We eat fairly quick and I wipe the syrup off Apollo's face before we head to the car, jumping in.

"Seatbelts!" I remind the kids as Rafe starts up the car.

Apollo clicks his seatbelt in with ease while April struggles a little, whining as she batters the belt against the clip on the seat.

"Give me it" Apollo huffs, taking the belt and clipping her in.

"Thanks, Pol" She grins sheepishly as we exit the driveway.

"It's cool, Ril" Apollo shrugs, making me smile proudly.

We make it to Sarah and John B's figure eight house in no time due to the fact they live a couple blocks away. 

After Ward was arrested, the Pogues took the gold and equally split it like promised. Rafe and I got our own house not long after that due to the fact I was pregnant with Apollo at the time and we needed our own space. 

Topper met his now wife, Marie, and they had a daughter a year after we had Apollo. Them and little Esme moved next door to us and Apollo took quite a shine to the little girl, the both of them becoming best friends quickly.

Once the Pogues finished school, Pope got his scholarship and went to college with his new girlfriend Eliza. At 21, Eliza fell pregnant with their only child, Alina. The little girl looks just like her mother but has all the personality traits of her father.

JJ and Kiara got together pretty quickly and although they bicker like an old married couple, they were honestly mad for each other.

At the age of 18, Kiara and Sarah followed in my footsteps and ended up pregnant, I also happened to fall pregnant with April the same year. Sarah had little Rudy first, then Kiara had Blake and I had April last. 

Sarah and John B moved in a couple blocks away with Rudy and JJ moved in next door to his best friend with Kiara and their son Blake. Due to the fact we all spend so much time together, Topper included, Rudy and Blake have a really close friendship with April. Although the three of them are cousins, they're also each other's best friends.

At 21, Kiara and JJ had their daughter Callie and due to her close age with Pope's daughter Alina, the two little girls became best friends and are now inseparable.

"Uncle JJ! Uncle John!" I hear my daughter squeal loudly and I look out the window to see JJ and John B in the drive way.

I chuckle, shaking my head and Rafe parks the car. We all hop out the car and April runs at the two men, throwing herself at them. They both catch her and hug her tightly, ruffling her curls.

"Are Rudy and Blake in the garden?" I hear her ask as I walk up to them.

"Yeah. Go have fun, kiddo" JJ smiles, placing her down.

She runs off and the men turn to me with big smiles.

"Hey, boys" I grin and John B is the first to pull me into a short hug.

JJ hugs me next and they both give Rafe a bro hug, slapping each other's backs. I roll my eyes at them and ruffle Apollo's hair, heading into the back garden. I'm met with the sight of Rudy and Blake tackling each other in the grass with April playing referee and I grin in amusement.

"Cassie!" I hear a voice yell and I turn to see Sarah sitting with Kiara, Pope, Eliza, Topper and Marie.

"Hey, guys!" I greet them, walking over to the seating area and plopping down next to my sister.

"Is Apollo here?" Esme asks, jumping off Topper's lap and I smile softly, nodding to my son who walks through the gate with the John B, JJ and Rafe.

"Pollo!" She squeals and the boy's head snaps up.

She throws herself at him and he smiles, letting her tackle him to the ground. The boys laugh at the kids and join us, Rafe sitting next to me and slinging his arm around me.

"I think Esme has a little crush on Apollo" Marie tells me and I grin, glancing at the duo who are now climbing a tree.

"I think they're gonna make an adorable couple one day" I reply and she grins back, nodding.

"That's my boy!" JJ suddenly barks and I turn to see Blake pin Rudy down in the grass.

"I want a rematch!" John B argues.

I share an amused look with Kiara and Sarah who shake their heads at their husbands.

"You wanna go?" JJ asks seriously.

"Hit me with your best shot" John B retorts.

JJ suddenly tackles John B onto the grass and I roll my eyes at the immaturity of the two 26 year old's. Rafe abruptly jumps up and pushes JJ off John B, Topper tackling Rafe to the ground.

"Hey!" Pope yells at them and they all look up like they've been caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

Without warning, Pope jumps on top of John B and they all start trying to pin each other down. I turn to the girls and shake my head with a wide smile on my face.

"They are idiots" Kiara laughs as JJ throws Rafe off him, my husband landing on top of Topper with a thud.

"But we wouldn't want them any other way" Eliza states and we all hum in agreement.

"They're our idiots" I add with a grin.
