The twins were in Allison's car as she drove them toward school. Ellie was putting on her lipgloss since she woke up late and had her hair in a messy bun in a pair of light jeans with a white lace top and a long grey sweater.

"And I wonder why you woke up late," Chris says rolling his eyes and making Ellie chuckle at that.

"So where were you last night?" Allison asks Ellie with a smirk as Ellie freezes.

"What are you talking about?" Ellie asks her acting nonchalant as Allison smirks at her.

"You sure? Because I went to check up on you last night and you were nowhere to be found," Allison tells her making Ellie smile at her sheepishly as Allison laughs at her.

"Allie," Ellie says chuckling and shaking her head making Allison shrug.

"Derek came and took me somewhere," Ellie tells Allison who smiles.

"And he might have told me he loved me," Ellie tells Allison making her look at her wide-eyed.

"He what?!" Allison screams swerving making Ellie reach towards the wheel.

"Road Allison!" Chris yells at his daughter sighing and shaking his head.

"Road! Allison! Road!" Ellie reminds her twin with a sigh.

"And people say I am the bad driver," Ellie mumbles as Allison looks between Ellie and the road with disbelief on her face.

"You are," Allison tells her making Ellie scoff.

"And who is the one who almost crashed?" Ellie asks her making Allison shut up at that. 

"What did you say?" Allison asks Ellie who shrugs with a small smile on her face.

"I told him I love him back," Ellie tells her as Allison squeals making Ellie laugh shaking her head.

"You are in love! Love! Aww! You are all grown up!" Allison says making Ellie scoff at her.

"I've been in love before Allison," Ellie reminds her making Allison scoff.

"That wasn't love. That was puppy love. Nothing," Allison tells Ellie who pauses before shrugging. 

"I'm older than you!" Ellie reminds her making Allison stick her tongue out at Ellie who does it back to her.

The two laugh as Allison pulls into the school parking lot and the two get out as they head toward the school.

"So what happened? Detail by detail!" Allison asks Ellie who rolls her eyes but laughs.

"Girls," Stiles says making Ellie roll her eyes at him.

"We were about to die due to the lizard and we got into an argument. Next thing I know I am telling him I love him and he tells me he loves me back,"  Ellie tells Allison who squeals jumping up and down making Ellie laugh at her.

"Go to class Allie!" Ellie jokes pushing her twin towards her class. Allison rolls her eyes but smiles as she walks toward her class.

"Can't I be happy for my twinny?" Allison asks Ellie who shakes her head at her.

"Yes but not that happy," Ellie tells Allison who rolls her eyes at her with a bright smile on her face.

Ellie walks into her class and smiles as she sits behind Stiles with Scott beside him. After Ellie sit down Jackson walked and sat next to Ellie making her roll her eyes at him.

"Hey, left and right testicles, crazy bitch," Jackson whispers to them, making Ellie glare at Jackson.

"Did you want me to break your nose again?" Ellie asks Jackson annoyed but he ignores her looking toward Scott and Stiles.

"I definitely well, but I do like the nickname. It fits," Ellie says shrugging her shoulders.

"What the hell is a Kanima?" Jackson asks the two making Scott and Stiles look at Jackson wide-eyed but before they can respond Coach hits a book against his desk.

"Very well, listen! A quick warning before starting our review: some of you, like McCall, might want to start your own study groups because the mid-morning exam is very difficult, I'm not even sure I can pass it! Okay, I need a board volunteer to answer the first question. Who has it, huh?" Coach asks making Ellie raise her eyebrow at him as she shakes her head.

"He is a unique man," Melissa says making everyone nod agreeing with her.

Hands begin to raise around the classroom as Jackson continues talking making Ellie want to grab her pencil and put it in his eyes.

"Can I?! Please!" Ellie begs her dad who shakes his head making her pout.

"Paralyzed from the neck down. Do you have any idea what that feels like?" Jackson asks the three making Stiles give him a dry laugh.

"I'm familiar with the sensation...," Stiles tells drolly.

"Wait, why would Derek put you to the test? Why would I think it's you?" Scott asks him making Ellie want to literally kill Derek realizing why Derek would test Jackson.

"Idiot!" Ellie exclaims slapping Derek over the head and making him scoff.

"An idiot you love," Derek tells her making Ellie glare at him.

"Not right now," Ellie tells Derek who just looks at her not saying anything. 

"How should I know?" Jackson asks them defensively as Ellie rolls her eyes.

"Sure," Ellie tells him with a tight smile full of sarcasm.

"Wait, do they think it's Lydia?" Stiles asks looking towards Ellie who shrugs.

"I don't know! All I heard was her name and something about chemistry...," Jackson tells them as Ellie starts to think.

If Derek even thought about touching Lydia, Ellie would literally torture him. Derek knew the connection the two share.

"I will Hale," Ellie tells Derek with a glare.
"And I'll let her," Talia tells her son who just looks at her in disbelief.

"Jackson!" Coach suddenly shouts making three jumps as Ellie just rolls her eyes at them.

"Do you have something you want to share with the rest of the class?" Coach asks Jackson making Ellie smirk.

"Just an eternal admiration for my coach," Jackson tells him making Ellie scoff.

"Kiss ass," Ellie mumbles making Jackson glare at her as Ellie smirks.

"That's very kind of you. Now shut up! Shut up! Anyone else?" Coach asks as Scott turns towards Ellie and Stiles.  

"How do we know it's not her?" Scott asks but before Ellie could answer Stiles did.

"Because I looked into the eyes of that thing, okay? And what I saw was pure evil. And, when I look into Lydia's eyes, I only see fifty percent evil," Stiles says making Scott and Ellie look at him as Stiles sighs.

"Thank you?" Lydia questions more than states.

"Anytime," Stiles tells her with a bright smile.

"All right, maybe sixty. You know, but no more than forty on a good day!" Stiles tells him making Scott sigh.

"Stiles, that's not a very good argument," Scott tells him as Ellie nods.

"I'm aware of that, but I swear it's not her. It can't be, all right? Lydia's fine," Stiles says but the three suddenly look when they hear the class laughing.

Once they do they saw Lydia standing in front of the class, with chalk in her hand." EMPLEHENOEMOS"
was written all over the board.

Lydia tenses at that wondering what was wrong with her as Allison and Ellie hold her tight.

Ellie quickly stood up and approached Lydia and gently grabs her shoulders.

"Hey, Lyds?" Ellie asks quietly trying to get Lydia out of the trance she was in.

"Okay, then. Does anyone else want to try to answer? In English?" Coach asks making Ellie glare at him and he immediately shuts up as Lydia turns around to see what she wrote while the class keeps laughing.

"Even Coach is scared of you," Stiles mutters as Ellie shrugs. She was not that scary. Sometimes.

Lydia ran out of the classroom making more people laugh until Ellie glares at them and they all immediately shut up.

"If you make fun of her one more time what I did to Jackson in the cafeteria will be child's play to what I do to all of you," Ellie tells them with a glare making everyone tense up as Ellie chases after Lydia.

"Thank you," Lydia tells Ellie who smiles at her tapping her nose.

"Anytime lovely," Ellie tells Lydia who lays her head on Ellie's shoulder.

Ellie finds the strawberry blonde in the bathroom crying making Ellie sigh.

Ellie heads towards the bathroom stall to get some toilet paper before wetting some of it lightly before she begins to wipe Lydia's face.

"Ellie?" Lydia asks making Ellie look at her with a soft smile.

"Yeah Lyds?" Ellie asks her as she grabs her makeup bag she got out of her locker before coming into the restroom.

"Do you think something is wrong with me?" Lydia asks Ellie who shakes her head immediately as she runs her hands up and down Lydia's arms.

"No Lydia I think something traumatic happened to you and your mind is still trying to understand what happened," Ellie tells Lydia making her smile at her.

"There's nothing with you Lyds. You are one of the strongest people I know," Ellie tells Lydia who smiles at her.

"Now, let's go to chemistry and make everyone jealous of how beautiful you are no matter what," Ellie says making Lydia smile as she brings Ellie into a hug.

"Thank you," Lydia tells her making Ellie shake her head.

"Don't thank me for being there for you. You're my best friend, of course, I will be," Ellie tells her as Lydia smiles at her.

"And you are mine," Lydia tells Ellie making her smile at her.

The two girls head toward their next class and sat beside each other as usual.

A few seconds later, Scott and Stiles came in talking before freezing as they look at something behind the two girls.

Ellie looks at them confused before she turns around to see Isaac and Erica looking at Lydia with a smile.

"Well I guess Issac was exonerated," Ellie says shrugging making Issac smile at that.

"Great the walking STD is here," Ellie mumbles making Lydia look at her and laugh.

"What did she do? Kiss your boyfriend?" Lydia jokes as Ellie chuckle nervously making Lydia look at her wide-eyed.

"You haven't told me!" Lydia yells slapping Ellie's shoulder who looks at her offended.

"It's a secret relationship!" Ellie reminds Lydia who scoffs.

"And as your cover most of the time I deserve to know," Lydia tells Ellie making Ellie sigh.

"I'm sorry Lyds," Ellie tells her making Lydia nod.

"It's fine. Just tell me what the sex is like," Lydia says making Ellie loom wide-eyed.

"Lydia!" Ellie yells making Lydia laugh as Allison shakes her head.

"What?!" Lydia screeches making everyone turn to the pair and Ellie laughs as she shakes her head.

"We will be talking about this after class," Lydia tells Ellie who nods as Scott and Stiles come running to their table.

Stiles sits at the end next to Lydia while Scott sits at the end next to Ellie.

"Uhm hi?" Ellie questions confused as Lydia rolls her eyes at the two boys.

"Einstein once said, "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity... And I'm not sure about the universe." I myself have encountered infinite stupidity," Harris says as he stops at Stiles' desk for a not-so-subtle score that makes Ellie chuckle while Stiles looked offended.

"Well...," Ellie trails off making Stiles glare at her.

"So, to combat the plague of ignorance in my class, you're going to combine efforts through a round of group experiments! Let's see if two heads are indeed better than one. Or, in Stilinski's case, less than one," Harris says as he patted him on the shoulder making him frown while Ellie laughs even harder.

"Erica, take the first station. You will start with...," Harris begins as every male's hand in the class shoots causing Erica to look around with a smile while Ellie gags and rolls her eyes making Lydia chuckle.

"Slut," Lydia says making Ellie shake her head.

"I didn't ask for volunteers. Lower your hands with the hormones. It starts with Mr. McCall," Harris says making Ellie look at him sympathetically.

"If she touches you break her hand or tell me and I can," Ellie tells Scott who looks at her wondering if Ellie was joking but could tell she wasn't.

"I wasn't," Ellie tells Scott who looks at her wide-eyed.

Ellie then began to drown out all the voices around her as she read the instructions in front of her until someone sits next to her.

Ellie looks up and smiles as Isaac sits next to her.
"Guessing you are no longer a fugitive," Ellie says making Issac nod as he smiles at her.

"I like you, Issac. You are like a little puppy I want to cuddle with all the time, but if any of you hurt Lydia I will become all of your worst nightmares," Ellie tells him patting Issac's cheek who nods gulping slightly.

"I don't know if I should be angry for her threatening my beta or jealous for saying she wants to cuddle with him," Derek mutters confused making Talia chuckle at her son.

Soon the bells rings and someone else sits next to Ellie making her look to see Erica making Ellie groan.

"Great, the walking slut is beside me," Ellie says annoyed as Erica glares at her.

"You know I'm happy you are more confident in yourself Erica. But that doesn't have to make you a slut trying to steal someone else's boyfriend," Ellie says looking Erica in the eyes.

"Maybe we could be friends but if you keep trying to get with my boyfriend and hurt anyone I love. I will become your worst nightmare," Ellie tells Erica with a glare.

"Possessive. I like it," Laura says with a bright smile.

"Time! If you have catalyzed the reaction correctly, you should now be looking at a crystal. Now, on the part of that last experiment, I'm sure you will all enjoy... You can eat it...," Harris tells the class making Ellie look to see Lydia about to touch the crystal with kanima venom on it.

"Crap!" Ellie suddenly exclaims making Lydia look at her.

"Oh no," Chris says shaking his head.

"What is it?" Lydia asks her making Ellie look at her with a small pout.

"I dropped mine and I really wanted to try it," Ellie tells Lydia with a pout making Lydia smile at her.

"Here you can have mine," Lydia says as everyone who knows what was on the crystal look wide-eyed.

"And this was your plan all along," Derek tells Ellie who smiles at him.

"I don't kn-," Issac begins wide-eyed as Ellie smirks taking the crystal.

"Thanks, Lyds!" Ellie says putting the crystal in her mouth as everyone who knows what's on it looks wide-eyed waiting for something to happen.

But to everyone's surprise, nothing happens to the older Argent twin.

"Of course, it wouldn't," Ellie says as if it was common sense.

Ellie looks out the glass window to see Derek and smirks at him winking before smiling at Lydia making the strawberry blonde smile back at her.

"Delicious," Ellie tells her as she wipes the corner of her mouth.

"I love you," Laura tells Ellie who kisses her cheek making Laura smile like crazy trying to suppress her squeal.

After chemistry, Ellie was walking toward her next class when she was suddenly pulled into the coach's office making her punch whoever pulled her in but it was caught and the lights were flipped on.

"Derek," Talia tells her son shaking her head as Derek sighs.

"Derek?! What the hell?!" Ellie asks him with a glare as Derek looked at her.

"How did you know?" Derek asks her making Ellie raise an eyebrow at him.

"What? I know a lot of things," Ellie tells him making Derek give her a deadpanned look.

"I truly do," Ellie tells him.

"The kanima venom?" Derek asks making Ellie nod at him.

"Oh that," Ellie tells him making Derek just look at her.

"Yes that," Derek tells her as Ellie sighs pulling her jacket off making Derek confused before Ellie turns to let Derek see the scratch on her arm.

"He cut you before you moved behind Derek and Stiles," Talia says making Ellie nod her head.

"I didn't even realize until I took a shower last night. It scratched me at the pool but I was fine. It didn't affect me at all," Ellie tells Derek who runs his finger over Ellie's arm worriedly as she looks at him.

"It's not Lydia Derek and even if you did the test it wouldn't have worked," Ellie informs him making Derek confused as she rolls her eyes.

"I'm definitely the brains and beauty of this relationship," Ellie tells him shaking her head as Derek scoff but knew it was true.

"At least you are self-aware," Ellie tells Derek who shakes his head at her.

"A snake cannot be poisoned by its own venom correct but it's in its human form which means it can be," Ellie tells Derek who looks at her as if processing what Ellie was telling him.

"And as I researched last night-," Ellie begins making Derek interrupt her.

"Wait did you sleep at all last night?" Derek asks cupping Ellie's cheek as he looks her over making Ellie smile at him.

Chris leans in at that worriedly as Ellie sighs knowing what future her was thinking.

"Yes about three maybe two hours," Ellie tells him with a shrug making Derek shake his head.

"That isn't healthy," Melissa tells Ellie who sighs.

"My bodies used to it," Ellie tells her making many concerned for the girl.

"You need more than that. Why aren't you sleeping?" Derek asks her making Ellie sigh as she shakes her head.

"We have more important things to worry about than me sleeping or lack of," Ellie tells Derek who shakes his head.

"No right now. This is more important. Why aren't you sleeping?" Derek asks her tilting Ellie's head up by her chin.

Allison smiles at that even Chris was slightly and just slightly warming up to the werewolf.

"I don't-I can't in that house. Every time I close my eyes I am just waiting for someone to come and either kidnap me or kill me. I don't feel safe. I mean I know my dad wouldn't let anything happen to me but what if something does?" Ellie tells Derek who looks at her sadly.

Chris looks down at that knowing he should have done more as Allison hugs Ellie tightly to her.

"That's terrible. Everyone should feel safe in their home," Lydia says hugging Ellie tightly as Ellie leans into Allison and Lydia. 

Derek sighs as he pulls Ellie into a tight hug. Ellie sighs as she hugs Derek tightly who begins running his hands through her hair that she took out of the clip.

"Why don't you go and sleep in the loft?" Derek asks her making Ellie look at him confused and surprised.

"It would just be you. I'm usually with my betas and I'm sure if you tell your dad he will understand. Even probably encourage it," Derek tells Ellie who nods.

"I would. I would rather you be safe and able to sleep at someone else than in the house where you feel unsafe," Chris tells Ellie who smiles at him.

"And this time I won't let him anywhere near our house," Chris tells Ellie who nods her head at him. 

"I'll think about it. Thank you, Derek," Ellie tells him making Derek smile as he in leans and kisses Ellie softly on the lips.

"I love you so don't thank me for being there for you," Derek tells Ellie as she leans into his hand that was cupping her cheek with a soft smile on her face.

"You have no idea how much I love you," Ellie tells Derek who smiles at her.

"If it is as much as I love you then yeah I do," Derek tells her making Ellie smile at him.

"So adorable," Talia says wiping a tear with a bright smile on her face.

"We need to get back on track," Ellie tells Derek who nods but neither speaks at first.

"The Kanima is a mutation of the werewolf gene but it cannot fully transform until it resolves what happened in its past which manifests it," Ellie tells Derek who nods.

"You know who it is don't you?" Derek asks Ellie who sighs as she nods.

"It's Jackson Derek," Ellie tells him making Derek look her in the eyes listening to her.

"Danny is a lightweight and has very loose lips when drunk and Jackson is a jackass but has a bunch of trauma and deserves to be saved," Ellie tells Derek who sighs as he nods.

Lydia nods at that knowing what Ellie was talking about.

"Alright I'll have Erica, Boyd, and Issac watch him and see when he turns," Derek says making Ellie smile.

"I'll let Scott and Stiles know. They will want to help," Ellie tells Derek who nods.

"What about your family?" Derek asks making Ellie sigh.

"I am not telling them anything. They will kill him as his human self. Jackson has no control over his actions," Ellie tells Derek who nods kissing her forehead softly.

"I'll see you soon and if you want to stay in the loft let me know and I'll leave the keys for you," Derek tells her making Ellie nod.

"I will. I love you," Ellie tells him making Derek smile. He loved hearing those words from her.

Derek couldn't remember the last time he heard them or the last time he felt like this. He doesn't think he ever has.

Derek looks at Ellie who was already looking at him with a soft smile on her lips making Derek smile back at her.

He understood why his future self fell so hard for her. He was falling now.

Derek didn't even think Ellie knew what she was doing. Little by little she was healing all the broken parts of him and letting him forgive himself for what happened. For Ellie Argent was his salvation.

"I love you," Derek tells Ellie who smiles at him with nothing but love in his eyes.
