π”Έπ•Š morning rose, Wednesday woke up before Lilith, who slept peacefully without any nightmares to disturb her slumber. He smiled and gently pecked her cheek before quietly slipping out of the room. He made his way to his own room to get ready for the day. Dressed and composed, Wednesday headed towards his father's study. He knocked on the door and, upon hearing a muffled "Come in," entered the room. Gomez was inside, fencing with Thing.

"Ah, my son, come in," Gomez greeted him, his eyes bright with warmth.

"Father, I wish to talk to you about something important," Wednesday said, his tone serious.

Gomez and Thing stopped their fencing and turned their full attention to Wednesday. Gomez had a smile on his face, intrigued by his son's solemn demeanor. "Of course, my boy. What can I help you with?"

Wednesday took a deep breath, preparing himself to articulate his thoughts. "Father, how did you know that you were in love?"

Gomez looked at his son, momentarily shocked by the question, before his face broke into a beaming smile. "Oh, my boy. It's Lilith, isn't it?"

Wednesday nodded, and Gomez's smile widened even further. "Well, how do you feel around her? What does she make you feel?"

Wednesday paused, looking down as he thought about Lilith. A smile crept across his face. "I feel like I can do anything with her at my side. That I will do anything for her." He looked up at his father, his eyes earnest and filled with conviction. "I will do anything for her. I will kill for her, burn this whole world to the ground just to see her smile. I adore her, Father."

Gomez's face lit up with pride as he walked over to Wednesday and patted his shoulder. "That's my boy. You are in love with the young woman." Wednesday nodded, a sense of certainty and determination settling within him. "Yes, Father. I am." Gomez embraced his son briefly, a rare moment of open affection. "Then cherish her, Wednesday. Love like that is a powerful thing. Make sure she knows how much she means to you."Β

"I will, Father," Wednesday replied, his voice resolute.

Gomez smiled, his eyes twinkling. "Good. Now, let's make sure the day is as extraordinary as the feelings you have for Lilith."

With that, father and son shared a moment of mutual understanding, the bond between them strengthened by Wednesday's revelation.

Lilith sat at the kitchen table with the rest of the family, enjoying breakfast. She smiled warmly as she caught sight of Wednesday and his father entering the room. Wednesday noticed her immediately and walked over. He tapped her shoulder, gesturing for her to stand, which she did, a little confused. Without a word, he sat down in her seat, then grabbed her waist and gently placed her on his lap. Lilith blushed deeply, surprised by the intimate gesture. Wednesday brought his plate closer, beginning to eat with one hand while the other stayed firm on her waist.

Pugsley, sitting next to Fester, spoke up excitedly, "Did you like the blood?"

Fester replied with a smile, "I was so proud."

"Weren't we all?" Morticia chimed in. She turned her gaze to Wednesday and added, "Wednesday, play with your food."

Wednesday obediently set down his spoon and picked up his fork, stabbing at his food, which was notably still moving. Morticia observed her son and Lilith with a pleased expression, then glanced at Gomez. Gomez smirked and raised his eyebrows, signaling to Morticia about Wednesday's affection for Lilith. Morticia smiled happily at the silent communication.

A sudden scream from Grandmama drew everyone's attention. "Mama," Morticia called out in concern.

Grandmama, holding a skeleton's arm aloft from her pot, exclaimed, "Who put this in here?"

Fester, Pugsley, and Lilith, who were all in on the prank, burst into laughter. Grandmama, feigning indignation, said, "That's for company."

Wednesday looked at Lilith with pride in his eyes. Gomez, smiling at the trio of mischief-makers, remarked, "Rascals."

Just then, a noise from the hallway caught Gomez's attention. He turned and said, "Doctor, you were so right." Both Fester and Lilith froze, tension evident in their bodies. Wednesday felt Lilith tense up and saw her lower her head. He tightened his grip on her waist protectively, glaring at the doctor. "What an evening," Gomez continued, oblivious to the tension, as the woman walked behind Fester and placed her hands on his shoulders. "Fester fit right in," Morticia commented, her tone soothing. Gomez smiled warmly. "The displacement is over," he declared. Fester and Lilith exchanged a quick, worried glance, but Wednesday's reassuring grip and fierce gaze towards the doctor provided a small comfort to Lilith.

"Well, isn't that nice. However, I'm afraid to say that Fester will have to leave, and so does Miss Winters here. She doesn't have to look after him anymore. She will return home," Dr. Pinder-Schloss announced, her voice cold and decisive.

Lilith's head shot up, shock and dismay written all over her face. "Leave?" she whispered, her voice trembling. Wednesday immediately wrapped both his arms around her, his grip firm and protective. He couldn't bear the thought of her leaving, especially now that he realized he was in love with the woman sitting on his lap.

Gomez intervened smoothly, "Well, if he insists upon leaving, we shall mark the occasion. Tish?" He smiled at Morticia, who responded with her usual grace.

"We've planned a farewell party," she said, her eyes glinting with unspoken plans.

Gomez continued, "We've invited the entire clan." His smile broadened as he looked at Fester, who returned it with a hesitant smile of his own.

Dr. Pinder-Schloss, however, seemed unphased by the warm sentiment. "What a lovely gesture," she remarked, patting Fester's shoulder. Her gaze flicked to Lilith, but she quickly looked away when she met Wednesday's icy glare. His dark eyes were filled with a coldness that could freeze anyone in their tracks.

Morticia, ever the diplomat, added, "We're a family again, and we owe it all to you, Dr. Pinder-Schloss."

The doctor's smile was tight. "Please. Greta," she smiled.

"Greta," Morticia echoed, her tone polite.

Dr. Pinder-Schloss turned to Fester, "Fester, walk me out." With that, she stormed out, and Fester followed her reluctantly.

As soon as they left the room, Lilith exhaled shakily, leaning into Wednesday's chest. He held her tight, his arms a fortress around her, and gently rubbed her arm in soothing circles. "It's going to be alright," Wednesday whispered, his voice a rare tender murmur meant only for her. "I won't let them take you away." Lilith closed her eyes, letting the warmth of his words and his touch calm her racing heart.Β

As night fell, the Addams family moved through their dimly lit mansion, each holding a candle holder that cast eerie yet beautiful shadows along the walls. They ascended the grand staircase, the flickering candlelight illuminating their path. At the top of the stairs stood two massive doors, which slowly creaked open to reveal a magnificent ballroom bathed in the warm, flickering glow of numerous candles.

Wednesday held Lilith's hand as they entered the room behind Fester. The sight took Fester by surprise. "A party? For me? Here?" he exclaimed, his voice filled with amazement. Lilith, too, looked around in awe at the splendid decorations and the grandeur of the room.

Gomez turned to Morticia, his eyes sparkling with affection. "Tish, how long has it been since we've waltzed?" he asked, his voice soft and inviting.

Morticia's eyes twinkled as she replied, "Oh, Gomez." She took his hands, and after a brief pause, she added, "Hours." With that, they gracefully moved into a dancing position, seamlessly beginning a passionate waltz.

Lilith watched them with a smile, feeling warmth in her heart at the sight of their deep love and connection. Wednesday observed her for a moment, admiring the soft glow of happiness on her face. Then, placing his candle holder down, he stepped forward and gently took her hand.

"May I have this dance?" he asked, his voice low and sincere.

Lilith smiled brightly and nodded. "Certainly," she replied. She placed her free hand on his shoulder while he put his hand on her waist, pulling her closer as they began to dance. Their movements were smooth and in sync, guided by an unspoken understanding.

As they danced, Wednesday looked into her eyes as she spoke, "You're so cute."

Wednesday blushed, "And you're beautiful," he responded softly.

"Mon corbeau," she added affectionately, her voice barely a whisper.

Wednesday's eyes shone with warmth and love. "Ma rose," he replied, his tone filled with adoration. They continued to dance, lost in each other's presence, the world around them fading away.
