-Talia's Pov -

"Could you two stop staring at me?" I ask as I shift in my seat, uncomfortable by the glares being sent in my direction.

"Why him?" Brad growled and I shrunk in my seat.

"I had no choice" I quietly said.

"Everybody get's a choice!" Brad yells as abruptly stood up sending his chair flying to the ground, scaring me. "If he's forcing you to be wi—" he started but I cut him off.

"What the hell do you think
a fake relationship is!" I asked him with my arms crossed, sitting upright. He ran his fingers through his hair.

"You could've said no!" He exclaimed.

"Amelia told me they were desperate to find a girl for him. All the girls who WERE supposed to be his 'girlfriend' all dropped out because they couldn't stand his attitude" I said.

"And you can?" Shay questioned.

I shrugged, "Even though he hates me, he's just going through a tough patch at the moment" I whispered.

"Tough patch" Bradley said annoyed. "Tough patch my ass" he grumbled and I glared at him.

"His girlfriend broke up with him a couple of months ago, after believing some rumor" I said as I got up to go and change but I was stopped. "What?" I ask as I look up into my brother's eyes.

"I'm sorry. I'm just looking out for you, after what happened with Luke" he said with a sigh, " I just don't want a repeat especially since this is a fake relationship, I know you. You fall in in love easily".

"I'm not going to catch feelings for him" I said looking somewhere other than his eyes.

"Tell that to my face. Tell me that you won't fall for him!" He demanded.

"I won't fall for him" I mumbled.

"See! You're not looking at me while saying that!" He snapped and I started to get frustrated at how he was treating me.

"Stop coddling me! I'm almost eighteen years old!  I can make my own decisions! I'm not the same naive girl I was years ago!" I snapped and Shay and him looked at me with stunned expressions on their faces.

"I wouldn't be coddling you if you made good decisions!" he yelled and I groaned.

"It's only a year" I sighed in annoyance, running my fingers through my hair.

"Anything can happen in two hours" He said and I rolled my eyes.

"I've been with him more than that and I'm not in love with him Bradley" I said annoyed as he just glared at me. When he was about retort to what I had said, my phone ring interrupting him and for once I was grateful for these things.

"Hello" I said without looking at the caller ID.

"Talia? This is David "the voice of Zach's manager came through. I glanced at Bradley to see him talking with Shayla with an annoyed look on his face.

"Yes David" I say.

"I forgot to tell you two to follow each other on social media" he said and I internally groaned.

"Right......." I said trailing off. "What's his instagram username?" I ask.

"Imzachherron" he said and before I could say anything else, the line get's disconnected. I pulled the phone away and went into the app and typed in his user name and just gazed at his account.

My hand hovered over the follow button and as I let out a heavy breath, "Everything okay Tal?" Shay asked in a gentle tone.

I looked up at her while I bit my lip and then looked back down and pressed on the 'follow' button.

Letting out a shaky breath, "My life will not be the same after this" I whispered as I tossed my phone onto the kitchen island. Laying my head in my hands, "The hate and the amo-" I start but my phone started to buzz. I looked at my brother and best friend and then grabbed my phone.

I picked up my phone, trembling as I shifted my gaze to the notification lighting up on my screen and gulped.

"This is it" i whispered as I unlocked my phone and gazed at his profile.

"What is?" Shay asked bringing me out of my trail of thoughts. I looked up and gave them a small smile.

"That my life is now going to be controlled by Zach's management" I said.

"You signed up for this" Shay said and I shrugged as I pulled up one of Zach's post to see a lot of hate. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and pressed it. As I continued to scroll down, my eyes filled up with tears at the disgusting things his supporters and Kay's supporters were saying.

"Oh my god" I said as my voice wavered and I placed my hand over my mouth.

"What is it?" Brad asked concerned.

I looked up, my vision blurred. "Zach's been getting hate for what Kay posted back in August" I choked out.

"What?" Shay asked as she pulled the phone out of my grasp. She too scrolled through each comment, "Babe, there's a lot of hate comments. Explains why his comments are now disabled" She said but I sobbed.

"Why are you crying!" Brad exclaimed.

"Cause he doesn't deserve it" I shakily said but he rolled his eyes.

"He caused it for himself" he said and my blood boiled.

"Brad, don't say shit like that" Shay said shaking her head. "He's still human and we all make mistakes" She said and I glared at my older brother.

I grabbed my phone and turned on my heel, heading to my bedroom, "Where are you going!" He called out.

"Away from you! Talk to me when you have stopped acting like a jerk!" I yelled as I ran into my room, slamming it in the process.

"DON'T SLAM YOUR DOOR!" He hollered.
"I DON'T GIVE TWO SHITS!" I yelled back.

-Zach's POV-

"When are we done" I whined from my spot on he couch.

"Not till late" Daniel said with a sigh as he messed around with some beats. "Ready Jo?" He asked and Jonah nodded.

I groaned and pulled my phone out just for it to buzz in my hand. I furrowed my eyebrows as I saw Talia had started to follow me.

I rolled my eyes but pressed on her account. My eyes scanned each one of her photos and they widened. "fuck" I whispered as I pressed her latest post.

"Oh damn" I heard someone say from next to me. I quickly switched my phone off and turned to my left and saw Jack looking at me with his eyes wide. "She's hot" he said and I scowled.

"Stay with your girl Avery" I snapped and his eyes widened as he raised his hands in surrender.

"Chill bro! I thought you hated her" he said with a raised eyebrow. I looked to my left and saw Corbyn with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah Z, didn't you complain on how annoying she was being?" He questioned tilting his head to the side.

"She's hot okay" I said rolling my eyes.

"Mhmm" Daniel said and I glared at him.

"You guys are annoying! She's just my fake lover" I snapped. "She means NOTHING to me" I said.

"That's not what you'll be saying in two weeks" Jack said and I groaned.

"I won't fall for her" I said with a growl.

"That's what you said about Kay" Corbyn said and I frowned at the mention of my ex. The one who ruined me and made me who I was today.

"We do not mention that name" I barked and they jumped in their seats with wide eyes. "She's the reason I'm like this! She's the cause of what happened to me! She's the reason I have to date someone I aren't know" I snapped.

"Just get to know her Z" Daniel said softly but I shook my head.

"I'm keeping the walls I built" I said getting up from my spot on the couch.

"Where are you going?" Jack called out.

"I need air!" I yelled back as I exited the small studio. I glanced up at the sky, the millions of stars that littered the night sky.

I let out a shaky breath and shut my eyes. I jumped as my phone buzzed in my pocket, sighing pulling out the small device.

I rolled my eyes at David's message.

I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair and stared back at the sky for a second and headed back into the studio.

"Let's finish recording this song so I can head back home" I said as I rubbed my eyes taking a seat beside Jack.

"Corbyn in the booth" Jonah said.

"I met her on a Monday evening
She was standing outside of the park and ride
And I said, "Hey ma, where you been?"
"Been looking for a woman like you for all my life

And she said......."
