Dear Police,

I'm sure you must be curious as to why you only received the letters now. In truth, it has been years since the killings of School's ten children and the case has long been abandoned, much to School's dismay. She's lucky she even gets to know the truth about what happened. If I had a choice, I would only send these letters after she's gone, but Onyx managed to persuade me to send them now.

We stalked those teachers, you know? Followed them around, noted down their schedules, planning the best time to strike. We suffered under them for long enough. They deserved what was coming. No one was going to give us justice, no matter how much we screamed and begged for it. It was about time we took matters into our own hands.

Let School see these letters. Let her know the truth as to why her precious children and grandchildren are dead, but she'll join them soon enough.

Try protecting her, but she isn't worth the manpower. She has tortured countless students under her care and manipulated their parents and the government. Do you want to know what she did to us in detention, which was given out at the smallest mistake? The punishments varied, but the idea was the sameβ€”to inflict as much pain as possible. There was this one time she tied each of us to a chair and dropped us into the school's swimming pool.

If we struggled or even tried to escape the bonds, she would give us another day of detention. She would wait until we were nearly out of breath or lost consciousness before pulling us out and dropping the next person in.

Oh, and if you want to catch me, let me tell you now that you won't ever find me. You can search my house, look for my parents, talk to my neighbours and old classmates, but it would be pointless. Do you want to know why? Well, that's for me to know and will you ever find out? Maybe, maybe not.

If I were you, I would leave School to die. What is your decision?

With no regrets,
Amethyst
