A/N ~ Heyy, I've been gone for a few days, so here's a pretty long chapter for you all :)

It took a while for them to find their tents. On the way through the field, they saw thousands and thousands of witches and wizards in red and green, some were old, some were only students.
Y/N could pick up some people she knew from school-
Seamus Finnigan, who was with his mum,
Oliver Wood, who told them excitedly how he made into the Puddlemere United Quidditch team,
Ernie Macmillan, a fourth year Hufflepuff they knew,
and finally, Cho Chang- the pretty Ravenclaw Seeker. She was wearing green, supporting Ireland, and her shiny hair was let down.
Cho gave Harry a wide smile and waved at him.
Harry grinned back nervously and shuffled closer to Y/N.
"Bulgarian flags for sale! Bulgarian flags- hey, watch where you're going, young man!" Said a scrawny salesman Harry had bumped into.
"Sorry." Harry muttered.
Harry and Y/N were a little behind from the Weasleys, and were getting drowned by the crowd.
The two finally caught up with the rest of the group. They were right by the woods between the field of tents and the stadium.
"Ah, here it is! Tent number 527..." Mr Weasley had stopped right in front of a closet sized tent, with the number 527 painted in the front.
The Weasleys were already entering the tent excitedly.
"Er... are you sure?" Harry asked hesitantly, eyeing the size of tent number 527. According to his math, when Bill, Charlie and Percy arrive, they would be a party of eleven.
The tent looked like it could barely fit 3 grown wizards in it.
Hermione seemed to have spotted the problem too. She gave Harry a puzzled look. Mr Weasley chuckled.
"Of course, Harry! We'll be a bit cramped, but- we'll manage." He then turned to the two Diggorys and Rolf with a smile. "Well, thanks for the company, Amos. We'll be parting, now, but we hope to see you at the game? Or maybe at the after party?"
"Of course, Arthur," Amos chuckled. "It was nice to meet you all. We'll see you soon!" Amos waved at them and disappeared into the crowd.
Cedric and Rolf muttered the group a good bye and followed Amos through a crowd of middle aged Healers.
Y/N and Hermione entered the tent, following the Weasleys.
"Well, don't be shy, Harry, come have a look." Mr Weasley said, when Harry stood still in his spot.
Harry ducked under the tent flap and stepped into the tent. His jaw immediately dropped.
Inside the closet sized tent, was a wide 3 room flat, with a bathroom and kitchen.
It was obviously magicked so that it was 10 times the size of what it looked like from outside. It could undoubtedly fit all of them and more.
"I love magic." Harry said in awe.
Y/N chuckled and gazed around the place herself. It was a little old-fashioned, but it definitely looked cozy.
"Girls, choose a bunk and unpack." Mr Weasley said.
Ginny laughed as she hit Hermione with a pillow. Hermione squealed loudly and burst into giggles.
Ron was already finding something to eat in the kitchen.
"Get out of the kitchen, Ron, we're all hungry." Mr Weasleys said to his son sternly.
"Yeah, get out of the kitchen, Ron!" Fred and George chorused. They were sitting on the dining chairs with their feet on the table and hands behind their heads.
"Feet off the table!" Mr Weasley scolded.
"Feet off the table!" The twins sang, putting their feet down. But as soon as Mr Weasley left, they put them back up again.
"Y/N, Harry, choose a bunk to yourselves and we can go find some lunch." Mr Weasley said to the two of them kindly, and disappeared into his own room at the back of the tent.
At this point, Fred and George started to sing some verses from the band called The Weird Sisters, intentionally annoying Ron around.
"Wanna share a bunk?" Harry asked Y/N with a grin.
"Sure," Y/N shrugged. "but only because I know Ron snores. No offense."
"Shove off, Y/N." Ron rolled his eyes.
Y/N and Harry laughed and chose the bunk bed next to Fred and George's, before earning several weird jokes from the twins. Y/N glared at them harshly and proceeded to her bunk bed quietly.
Harry didn't hesitate to throw himself onto the bottom bed and sigh loudly. They've had quite a long morning already.
"I'm taking the top." Y/N quickly said, and threw her bag onto the top bed.
"I'm not complaining." Harry chuckled in his newly low voice.
Y/N gave him the most unfriendliest smile and started unpacking her backpack.
Once they've done their unpacking, the 7 young wizards followed Mr Weasley back out of the tent, and back into the crowded field.
It was still very loud and crowded, filled with all sorts of people from around the world.
"There are some food stands near by, just by the woods," Mr Weasley said, squinting at the large crowd of people on the edge of the woods lining up for their lunches. "and some at the water fountain, there. It's be better if we separated. Meet me back here in an hour, alright?."
He gave Ron, Fred, George and Ginny just enough money for half a meal, before taking off on his own.
"I dunno about you lot, but I'm up to some chips and gravy." George licked his lips.
"You don't have enough money for that, idiot," Ginny reminded him.
"Don't you worry, little sis,-" Fred beamed, putting an arm on Ginny's shoulder. "We've got some money from our savings."
"Brilliant, then, I'll come too." Ginny said brightly.
The twins and the youngest Weasley then left to the other side of the field, without another word.
"C'mon, I saw some chicken wings on the way here." Ron said, his eyes bright with excitement as he took Hermione's wrist.
"Chicken wings? Really, Ron?" Hermione scoffed, looking at him weirdly. Ron scowled back at her. Harry knew best not to mess with Ron when he's hungry.
"Do you have a better idea?" Ron growled angrily, his ears buring bright red. "I love chicken wings, and so should you!"
"Woah, calm down Ronald, don't pull out your wand." Y/N laughed, earning a glare from Ron (A/N ~ that was a horrible Vine reference, I apologies).
When Ron didn't break his angry stare, Y/N laughed and shook her head. "Fine, fine, let's go."
Ron's face lit with joy and he led his three friends through the field of tents, pushing his way through eagerly.
Y/N, Harry and Hermione had to apologies constantly to the people Ron pushed through.
It didn't take long for the hungry redhead to find the food stand he had targeted.
The four payed for their chicken wings (Harry secretly payed for half of Ron's), and walked around the souvenir stands while eating their lunch happily.
"I can't wait to buy these tonight!" Ron said when he saw mini figures of Quidditch players from the Bulgarian team. "Wait until I get my moneybag..."
Y/N could see he was eyeing a figure of Viktor Krum, which was scowling up at them, marching around the tiny souvenir table.
"He looks really grumpy." Hermione pointed out, eyeing Krum's mini figure.
"Are you kidding?" Ron huffed, slightly offended. "He's the best Seeker in the world!"
"Doesn't stop him from looking grumpy." Hermione whispered to Y/N and Harry.
The day went by as quick as ever. The four Gryffindors walked around purchasing pins and scarves in red and green (green for Ireland, red for Bulgaria), meeting more and more people from Hogwarts.
The place was so big, they didn't even have time to walk around the whole field.
When the sun completely set, Y/N, Harry, Hermione and Ron went back to their tent to find Bill, Charlie, Mr Weasley, Ginny, Fred, George and two other unknown wizards sitting around a bonfire, right outside the tent entrance.
They were sipping on some hot drinks and were in an exciting conversation about the match. Percy was in a very serious conversation with one of the unknown wizards.
"Oh, ahoy there!" Said the other unknown man in yellow robes. "You must be the rest of the Weasleys!"
"Oh, there you guys are!" Mr Weasley beamed, motioning for them to sit down. "Ludo, Mr Crouch, this is my youngest son, Ron, and his friends, Y/N Scamander, Hermione Granger and Harry Potter. Kids, this is Ludo Bagman and Barty Crouch."
Ludo Bagman had bright rosy cheeks, blue eyes and short blonde hair. He did the slightest double-take at Harry's name, but remained polite and smiling.
Mr Crouch, on the other hand, was an old and skinny man with a long mustache. He seemed as though he wasn't fully awake. His under eyes were slightly dark, and he barely had hair.
"Hello, hello, hello!" Ludo Bagman greeted the four once again. "Please, come sit. We were just talking...who wants to bet on the match? Anyone?"
"I think they're too young to be gambling, Ludo." Mr Weasley laughed weakly, passing four hot chocolates to Y/N, Harry, Ron and Hermione.
"Sure, we will," Fred said brightly, ignoring his dad and reaching for his moneybag.
"We bet that Ireland would win, but Krum catches the snitch." George said firmly.
"No you don't." Percy said firmly. He lowered his voice and hissed, "You're embarrassing yourselves in front of Mr Crouch."
Fred rolled his eyes dramatically.
"It's alright, Weatherby." Mr Crouch said to Percy with a smile. Y/N and the twins snorted into their cups, earning a sour glare from Percy. "I used to be young and oblivious, too." Mr Crouch chuckled weakly.
"I will have to agree with Percy on this one, guys." Mr Weasley said to the twins. "Your mother will be furious if she found out."
"Pity, pity..." Bagman said sadly. "That's for next time, when you're older, perhaps, boys."
Fred and George groaned and put their galleons back in their bags.
"Well, if we're all settled, I think we should go get ready for the match." Said Mr Crouch, getting up from his seat.
"Ah, me too!" said Bagman, standing on his feet. "I will definitely be seeing you all later- very soon." he smiled at the kids.
"Good evening to you all." Mr Crouch said shortly.
"See you at the Ministry, Mr Crouch." Percy said loudly.
"See you, Weatherby." Mr Crouch smiled at Percy warmly and took off elsewhere, Ludo Bagman following right behind him.
Y/N had to clap a hand on her mouth to keep herself from laughing, but Fred and George didn't even try.
They burst into laughter and clutched their stomachs, pointing their fingers at Percy.
Percy rolled his eyes.
"Stop embarrassing yourselves." Percy scowled at them. "You're disturbing other people!"
"Oh shut up, Weatherby."
"Children, be nice to your brother."
"Sorry, dad."
"Sorry, Weatherby."
∞ ϟ 9¾ ♔ ⚯͛ △r⃒⃘ ➵ ♆
The Quidditch Arena was- absolutely magnificent. Y/N gazed around in awe and could've sworn the whole Wizarding World was there, by the looks of the huge crowd. There was cheering from everywhere, making the atmosphere even more thrilling.
"Blimey, how far up are we, Mr Weasley?" Y/N asked excitedly. They've been walking for almost five minutes up the stands by now.
Mr Weasley opened his mouth to answer, but was interrupted by a cold voice of a middle-aged man.
"Well, take it this way," sneered Lucius Malfoy, "If it rains, you'll be the first to know."
A tall wizard with long platinum blonde hair stepped right in front of them, his son, who was almost identical to himself, and his wife following right behind.
Draco Malfoy laughed loudly.
At his own dad's joke.
That's it, that was already enough to make Y/N scoff loudly.
"What are you huffing about, Scamander?" Malfoy glared at Y/N up and down. "Wait 'till you hear father and I are in the Minister spots. By personal invitation of Cornelius Fudge, himself!"
He cocked an eyebrow and smirked at Y/N's unbothered expression. He stepped closer to her and whispered in a threatening voice,
"Could've had that, if you chose me, instead of him- or should I say... them." Malfoy threw a look at the Weasleys.
"Who said I wanted a seat with you?" Y/N spat.
"She'd rather jump down from the top box." Harry said cooly- he clearly heard what Malfoy had said.
"Draco!" Lucius Malfoy said sharply, making Draco turn away from Y/N. "Don't talk to her! Scamanders are blood-traitors. They marry muggles."
"Don't you dare, Lucius!" Mr Weasley shot protectively, stepping in front of Y/N and Harry.
Lucius Malfoy laughed hollowly.
"Of course, traitors supporting traitors..." he sneered. "have fun finding your seats!"
The Malfoys left, with identical evil grins on their faces. Ron had to hold Mr Weasley back from yelling an insult back at them.
"Let's just go, dad." he muttered, gritting his teeth.
"Y/N, never be afraid to stand up for yourself." Mr Weasley said, as they continued to walk up the stands. "Especially with the Malfoys."
"Yes, Mr Weasley." Y/N said, giving Mr Weasley a thankful smile.
The bunch marched up the arena, hinger and higher into the night sky, until they finally reached their seats at the most top box.
Y/N's annoyance for the Malfoys quickly tuned into excitement once again.
She cheered loudly along with the crowd, waving her Green flag above her head excitedly.
She turned to look at Harry, who caught her eye and beamed back at her.
"Ladies and gentlemen!" said Ludo Bagman, with his wand to his throat, making his voice echo the whole stadium.
The crowd calmed down- only by the slightest- and Bagman continued, "Welcome to the final of the four hundred and twenty-second Quidditch World Cup!"
The crowd went crazy, cheering, whistling and clapping, while the scoreboard was wiped clean, with the score of 0 to 0.
"GO IRELAND!" Y/N and Harry bellowed at the same time. They looked at each other and burst into laughter.
"Without further ado," Bagman said loudly, "allow me to introduce... The Bulgarian's Team Mascots!"
Y/N picked up the pair of magical binoculars Harry had brought her from earlier and squinted her eyes.
"Ahh," Mr Weasley suddenly chuckled and turned away from the stadium. "Veela."
"What are Veela-?" Harry began to ask, but was cut off by a chorus of the most angelic music, anyone has ever heard.
A hundred Veela were now gliding out onto the pitch. Y/N felt her jaw drop unconsciously.
Veela were women- dancing women with glowing skin and the most silkiest hair... except, they weren't human. Something about them was just not... humanlike.
They danced around, with subtle grins on their face, as the soft music played. The crowd has gone silent.
Y/N realised she had been pressing her binoculars onto her eye sockets- so hard, that they left two deep circle marks around her eyes. Harry looked at the marks and laughed loudly.
Y/N broke her gaze from the crowd of Veela and came back to reality.
She looked around, puzzled, and saw Ron, Fred and George with their eyes and mouths wide open. Ron looked like he was ready to jump off to the Veela.
Ginny and Hermione exchanged unpleasant looks.
Mr Weasley and Harry were simply looking away from them without any effort. Y/N raised her eyebrows.
"What?" she said blankly. "Why does... why do they not affect you?" she, herself, found it hard to talk while the Veela were dancing right in front of her.
Mr Weasley chuckled loudly.
"Sometimes, for some people, there are some things better than Veela." he said, grinning proudly to himself, of course, referring to Mrs Weasley. "Someone."
"That's sweet." Y/N grinned at the man. Mr Weasley chuckled again, and turned back to stop Ron from jumping down the stadium.
Y/N then turned back to Harry, who already had his eyes fixed firmly on her. She frowned slightly at him.
"For Mr Weasley, it's Mrs Weasley, of course... what about you, huh, The Boy Who Lived?" Y/N challenged. "You got something- someone- better than a Veela?"
Harry realised she was talking to him, and shook his head soberly.
"I- er- what?" He asked bluntly. Y/N smirked at the boy and rolled her eyes.
"Why aren't you enjoying the Veela?" she asked, gazing at the dancing Veela. "They're mesmerizing."
"I dunno." Harry said shortly, shrugging his shoulders. Y/N eyed him suspiciously and turned back to the pitch. "Maybe because I'm already mesmerized." Harry added quietly under his breath.
"Hmm? What did you say?" Y/N asked with a slight frown.
"N-nothing." Harry said and smiled warmly.
"Okay..." Y/N muttered slowly.
"Ronald, what are you doing?" Hermione stepped forward and grabbed Ron's shoulder.
He was bending his knees slightly, like he was ready to jump. Hermione rolled her eyes and pulled the redhead back to his seat.
"Idiot." She hit him with her green flag. "Wake. The. Hell. Up. RONALD!"
"Wha?" Ron turned away from the Veela and stared at his friends blankly.
"Ron..."
"Veela! Those are- Y/N, do you see them?" He stepped passed Hermione and shook Y/N's shoulder roughly.
"Merlin-! Yes- gosh,- I do! Stop shaking me!" Y/N backed away from Ron and chuckled. "You're out of your mind."
"Why am I even cheering for Ireland." Ron muttered in despair and slumped back into his seat.
"Aaaaand- gentlemen, you can wake up, now!" Ludo Bagman laughed hollowly. "Aaaaand let's welcome the Irish Team Mascots- leprechauns!"
"Leprechauns?" Harry frowned. "Now, that's a massive downgrade from Veela."
"I thought you didn't like the Veela." Y/N said in a cool tone. Harry looked down at her and a grin appeared on his face.
"Why do you care?" He asked quietly.
"I don't. You're just being a two-faced-"
"Calm, Y/N, calm," Harry chuckled. "I was kidding." He looked up at the sky as a dozen of leprechauns appeared from Ireland's fire works. "Look, Y/N- they're giving out... gold?"
A thousand golden coins fell from the sky and into the stadium, earning cheers from every direction.
"BLIMEY!" Ron's eyes lit up. He didn't hesitate to crouch down and gather the galleons into his arms. "Definitely back on Ireland's side! Galleons before girls, any day!"
"Thanks, Ron." Y/N said grimly. Hermione rolled her eyes once more and scowled at Ron.
"Well, well, well!" Bagman continued. "Look who's switching sides real fast! Get all those coins before the Veela start dancing, gentlemen!"
Y/N and Harry laughed at this, and Ron rolled his eyes.
"Thank you, Leprechauns and Veela!" said Bagman. "Now, without further ado... I would like to welcome are players into the stadium!"
The crowd erupted once again, cheering their lungs out.
The Irish team came zooming into the stadium, each being introduced enthusiastically by Bagman.
Then the Bulgarian came into view, and Y/N knew immediately that Ron wasn't the only one who was fond of Viktor Krum.
When the grumpy-looking Seeker entered the stadium, the waves of witches wizards jumped up and down excitedly, waving their Krum posters over their heads, as his introduction was presented.
"He's bloody amazing!" Ron bellowed, when Krum proceeded to show everyone off with an impressive loop in the air.
"Still grumpy-looking." Hermione whispered, so only Y/N heard her.
"YEAHHH, WOOHOOO!" The twins cheered loudly.
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen!" Bagman gave Fudge the Minister a slight nod. "ARE YOU READYYYY?! IF YOU'RE READY....LET THE GAME... BEGIN!"
∞ ϟ 9¾ ♔ ⚯͛ △r⃒⃘ ➵ ♆
"DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDU-!"
"DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDU!"
"Shut up!" Ginny scowled at the twins.
She, Hermione and Y/N we're trying to have a discussion about the match, but the boys didn't seem to want to stop celebrating.
Ireland had won, even though Krum caught the snitch- just as Fred and George predicted.
Their tent was filled with noise, so much so, Mr Weasley couldn't even stand being inside with them.
"KRUM, KRUM, KRUM!" Fred chanted, purposely trying to annoy his sister.
The twins were running around the tent with their Irish flags wrapped around each other.
Harry was chuckling at them, standing not far from the girls.
Ron was still talking to anyone who would listen about how good Krum was.
"There's no one like Krum!" Ron announced for the 6th time of the night. "He's like a bird the way he rides the wind!"
"Fangirl behavior much?" Y/N smirked.
"Shut up, Y/N- let me finish." Ron snapped dramatically. "He's more than a player-! He's an artist."
"I think you're in love, Ron." Ginny said in a fake sweet voice.
George got onto his knees and began to sing.
"Viktor I love you..."
"Viktor I do..." Fred chimed in.
"When we're apart, my heart beats only for you." Harry finished, catching Y/N's eye, grinning widely at her.
She scoffed at him playfully and shook her head.
Some people outside from outside their tent screamed loudly.
"Seems like the Irish have got their pride on." Fred acknowledged.
But Y/N felt like something was off with those screams. And unfortunately, her gut feeling was right.
Mr Weasley hurried into the tent, with a worried expression masked on his face.
"Children- children!" He bellowed. Fred and George stopped dancing and looked at their dad. "We've got to go. Now."
Mr Weasley's voice etched with fear- and they all knew that something bad had happened.
Mr Weasley strode back outside the tent.
"Y/N- Let's go!" Harry grabbed Y/N's wrist and dragged her out of the tent. Hermione quickly dragged Ron with her, behind them.
Everyone outside was chaotic. Some were screaming, some were being pushed over- everyone looked panicked.
"Dad! Don't leave us." Ginny said worriedly, trying to run after Mr Weasley.
"You go with your brothers, Ginny!" Mr Weasley said firmly, looking at Fred and George. "Don't lose her. Ron has his friends with him."
The twins nodded and took off, bringing Ginny along with them, and disappeared into the crowd.
Y/N could now see that some tents were- on fire. And could see from afar, about half a dozen masked figures marching towards them- Death Eaters. Supporters of Voldemort.
"Y/N, let's go!" Harry said, pulling her closer to him. The quartet turned away and ran as fast as they could from the Death Eaters, dragging each other along the way.
Everything was blurry- people screaming and pushing all over them, flames reflecting in their eyes, and spells being cast constantly.
"To the woods!" Hermione said, shoving all of them away from the busy crowd. "Let's go!"
The four ran as fast as they could into the woods, and was lucky to find that the path was brightly lit.
A few hundreds of people chose to escape through the path as well.
The quartet squeezed their way through and faced a group of blonde teenagers in their pajamas. They were having a heated discussion.
When they spotted the four, a girl with thick curly hair turned to them and said quickly,
"Où est Madame Maxime? Nous I'avons perdue-"
"Er- what?" said Ron.
"Oh..." the girl's face dropped and she gave them a weak smile before turning back to her friends. Y/N heard her sigh and say "Hogwarts."
"Beauxbatons." Hermione muttered.
"Sorry?" Harry and Y/N said, puzzled.
"They must go to Beauxbatons." Hermione explained. "You know... Beauxbatons Academy of Magic."
"Er... right." Harry muttered.
"Doesn't matter right now, let's find somewhere to hide!" Hermione said in panic, when another set of screams set off behind them.
"There! There's a clearing!" Ron pointed to a tiny path that would lead them away from the crowd and the tents.
"Good idea, let's go." said Harry.
They all hurried away, running through the sandy path, and into the wide and dark clearing.
The four took a second to breathe and catch their breath, clutching each other's back.
Y/N, Ron and Hermione eventually fell to the ground and sat there, panting loudly.
"Harry, what- are- you doing?" Y/N asked through her gasps.
Harry was still walking deeper into the wide clearing, and deeper into the dark.
"I heard- someone..." Harry said quietly. "Hello? Is anyone there?"
"Are you stupid?!" Y/N hissed. She growled and stood on her feet, walking towards Harry. "What if it was a Death Eater?"
But before she could answer, a deep voice came from the dark area in front of them.
"MORSMORDRE!" bellowed the voice.
Suddenly, something huge erupted from the patch of darkness and into the night sky- it was an emerald skull, with a serpent protruding from its mouth like a tongue.
"What the-" Ron exclaimed from behind them.
Y/N's jaw dropped at the sight- she had seen the skull before, in books, but it was much more intimidating in real life- it was the mark of Lord Voldemort... it was the Dark Mark.
"No..." Y/N breathed. She looked over at Harry, who looked as shocked as she was and grabbed his arm. "Harry, this isn't good- please, Harry, let's go."
"What is it?" Harry asked cluelessly.
"I'll explain later." Y/N said firmly, pulling him by the arm.
"Y/N!" Hermione panicked. "It's the Dark Mark! Let's get out of here-"
But it was too late. There were a dozen loud 'cracks', and a dozen Ministry wizards apparated right in front of them.
"DUCK!" Hermione bellowed.
Y/N quickly went on all fours and pulled Harry down with her.
She could hear Ron and Hermione yell in horror as the Ministry people yelled,
"STUPEFY!"
Bright red lights shot from their wands and hit the air with a loud bang.
Luckily, the four ducked and missed the spell just in time.
Harry put an arm around Y/N, keeping her from any danger that was ahead- luckily, no danger came.
"Wait!" Said a familiar voice of a grown wizard. "Wait- that's my son!"
"And my daughter!" said another voice of a middle aged woman. "Put your wands down- now!"
The other Aurors obeyed immediately, and lowered their wands.
"Mum?" Y/N looked up from Harry's arm and sighed in relief.
Mr Weasley and Mrs Scamander were rushing over to them. Y/N's mother was wearing her Auror uniform, as always, and had a worried but relieved look on her face.
Y/N got to her two feet and ran into her mother's warm hug.
"Oh, Y/N... are you OK? Are you hurt? Where's Rolf? Who cast the Mark?" Mrs Scamander asked her daughter quickly.
"Mum, mum, I'm OK." Y/N smiled. "I don't know where Rolf is... but he's probably with Cedric's dad."
"I'm here." Amos Diggory stepped forward, a look of fear struck across his face. "Rolf isn't with me. So isn't Cedric."
"Oh, no, no, where is he?" Mrs Scamander fussed worriedly, looking around as if Rolf would just turn up. "Where's Rolf?"
"He'll be alright, Alexis." Mr Weasley assured, giving Mrs Scamander a warm smile. "He's a skilled young man. He and Cedric will manage."
"Y/N, I thought they took you." Mrs Scamander said, and squeezed her daughter tightly in her arms.
"Are you kidding? Why would they take me?" Y/N asked and pulled away from her mother. "Mum, why would they take me-?"
"Did you see who cast the spell?" Amos questioned sharply. "The Dark Mark- who cast it?"
"Amos, the kids need rest." Mr Weasley said, putting a hand on Amos Diggory's shoulder.
"We heard him from somewhere there-" Harry pointed into the patch of darkness in front of them. "It was a low and raspy voice. Right, Y/N?"
"Yes. A middle-aged man's voice." Y/N said thoughtfully.
The group of Aurors immediately spread out and took off into the darkness, with their wands pointed in front of them cautiously.
"Then we will go hunt them down." Amos said firmly. "We'll have to be quick."
"Alright- thanks, kids. Thank you," Mrs Scamander whispered, looking directly at Harry. "For being with her." She smiled at Y/N.
"It's nothing, Mrs Scamander, don't worry about it." Harry assured, taking Y/N's hand in his.
Mrs Scamander nodded firmly and gave Y/N another tight hug.
"I'll see you soon, little one." She said, and kissed her daughter on the head. "Take care of yourself- stick with your friends- have a great year-"
"Alexis, we've got to go!" Said one of the Aurors. "You too, Amos, Arthur,"
"Everyone's gathered in the stadium." Mr Weasley told the quartet. "Find your siblings and don't go anywhere else. Understood? Good. We'll meet you there later."
"See you." Ron and Y/N said to their parents.
The three parents gave the quartet another warm smile and raised their wands in front of them, before disappearing into the darkness.
"It's not going to be a normal year, isn't it?" Ron sighed, putting a hand on Y/N's shoulder.
"Surely not." Y/N said weakly, and turned to look at Harry in the eyes. "Not when we have Harry Potter as our mate."
