The day of the exams was finally here. Ochaco said she was already on her way to UA so I hurry and put some clothes in my white duffle bag along with some snacks and water in case my energy gets low or I overuse my quirk. I put my uniform on and put my socks on aswell. I shove my school shoes in my duffle bag and run downstairs. I grab some toast from my mom and put my rollerskates that sit by the door on. "Bye, mom I love you!" I wave to my mom as I exit the cafe.

I skate to UA and find my friend waiting for me at the entrance. "Yay, you're here!" She says. "Yeah, one second though I need to get my skates off." I slip my skates off and put my pink and white tenny shoes on. I tie the laces on my skates together and stand up. "Ok, I'm ready!" I say. We make our way to the door before Ochaco notices a boy about to fall but stops it with her quirk. "I should've asked before using my quirk on you but you were about to fall on your face so I thought you wouldn't mind." She smiles at the boy helping him up.

I giggle at the boy's face which is beet red. "Hey Ochaco I'm gonna go in I'll meet you there ok?" I ask taping my friend on the shoulder. "Ok see you in there!" She smiles. I walk up the stairs and make my way down to where the exams would be. We were given a seat number so I walked to where my number was. It follows me to a seat next to a boy with blonde hair that sticks up like a pomeranian. He reminds me of Ms. Mitsuki. Wait! Could this be her son?! I ask myself before sitting down. The boy that Ochaco saved comes in and sits on the other side of the blonde boy.

The green boy's hair reminds me of my hair, Unkept and curly. The Pro-Hero Present Mic comes onto the stage and explains what our physical exams would be. What we were doing was fighting against robots that would each have a point. The points were 1, 2, 3, and 0. The goal was to either make the robots not be able to move or destroy them. We are given five minutes to change into our clothes for the exam. 

But first was the written exam. That exam I knew I would get good on since it didn't require me to use my quirk. I go through that and then we are all directed to the rooms where we could change. I put on a white cropped T-shirt and pink shorts along with my pink and white tenny-shoes. I walk out to where my exam would take place and come to a giant cityscape. I notice a familiar face in the group I was put in. It was the girl, Jiro, from the cafe the other day. I walk up to her tapping on her shoulder. "Hello!" I say.

She turns around and gives me a smile as well. "Hello again." She says. "So you're trying for UA too?" I ask pointing to the cityscape. "Yeah." She says. "REAL FIGHTS DON'T HAVE TIME SO GO GO!!!!" Present Mic says as a buzzer sounds and the doors to the cityscape open. I rush in and take a turn down a street. Two one-pointers stand in front of me. What can I do my sleep quirk won't work since they aren't living beings. I then remember that I have paper and a pen in my pockets in case something like this would happen. 

I take out my paper and pen and draw a ram sending it banging into the robots earning me two points. I take out about 10 one-pointers, 5 two-pointers, and 7 three-pointers earning me 41 points in total. I notice a girl with pink hair on the ground and a three-pointer coming to her. I draw another ram and send it knocking the robot out and out of the way. I help the girl up once I make it over there. "Are you ok?" I ask helping her up. "Yeah just got messed up." She smiles at me holding a thumbs up. A one-pointer is heading towards us and she shoots some sort of acid I assume from her hands as when she shoots it the robot burns and melts. 

"I'm Mina by the way Mina Ashido!" She says smiling. "Iris, Iris Cotton." Say smiling back at her. The timer ends and I help her to Recovery Girl's office who is the UA school nurse. I had a couple of injures as do to my Animate quirk since any damage my drawings or creations sustain I sustain aswell. After healing I meet back up with Ochaco at the entrance. She tells me about all that had happen and how that green-haired boy saved her from a giant zero-point robot. We walk back to my house which the cafe is closed and I wave my friend goodbye. "I'm back!!" I announce to my family as I enter through the door. 

"Yay Iri is back!!!" I hear Mia shout. She comes running from the upstairs and embraces me. "Hey, Mia-chan were you guys waiting for me?" I ask. "Yeah, we were gonna eat dinner when you gout back. How were the exams?" I hear my brother ask as he walks down the stairs. "Good they had us go up against robots for the physical exams." I say taking off my shoes. "Well, I wouldn't know what that's like seeing how as I got in via recommendations." He says. Ricky got in through the recommendations for UA from his Junior High saying he had exponential talent and an amazing quirk. He loves to rub it in my face a lot so to get him back I tell him how well I am at art since the best piece of art he can do is abstract or draw a stick figure.

"Yeah yeah I know," I smirk at him. "But don't forget who the better artist is." I say to him getting him back. "Damn, hit me where it hurts." He says clutching his chest jokingly. Our parents call us for dinner and we eat dinner as I talk about all that had happened at the exams and meeting Mina Ashido. Going through my nightly routine I fall asleep thinking of how well I did in the exams and if I will make it into UA or not.
