-taehyun focus-

the sleep over at kai's house was fun, and taehyun is really glad that beomgyu's back to his normal self. all smiley and laughing. they spent the night watching a horror movie—which they didn't finish, because kai said he's gonna have nightmares so soobin stopped the movie. bummer.

they also spent the night talking and reminiscing about their experiences. thankfully, no one brought up the topic 'yeonjun' so the night went smooth and they slept like babies. except of course for him, who almost murdered kai for snoring so loud.

everything is back to normal.

now he's here at xx cafe, waiting for soobin. he wants answers, and he knows that his hyung has been hiding something.

moments later, his hyung arrived. he already ordered food for him, and he's been drinking his coffee.

"hey," soobin smiled at him. he just stood in front of him.

"well, aren't you gonna sit?"

"nah. we're going somewhere so get your ass up." he grabbed the other coffee and walked towards the door.

he glared at him and then followed. he just wants to know what he's hiding, and now they're going on a road trip? that wasn't what he expected.

he ran to catch up with his hyung. "where are we going?"

"you said you want to know everything so we're heading to the answer. now shut up dora," soobin replied.

he just grunted. someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

after minutes of walking, they arrived at the bus stop. he sat at the bench while soobin stood up, clearly waiting for the bus to come.

are we going to yeonjun?

the bus finally came, and the two went inside. soobin paid for the fare- well, he's the one who dragged him somewhere in the first place. he should pay for it.

they sat beside each other.

"hyung-"

"please save your questions for later."

"your shoelaces came undone." he pointed at soobin's shoe. the other laughed then tied it.

the whole bus ride was quiet, and taehyun just busied himself looking and admiring the scenery. and then he noticed the road sign which clearly wrote 'WELCOME TO BUSAN'.

huh. so yeonjun really went to busan. he thought the boy was just lying because he doesn't want beomgyu to follow him.

this whole situation really got him into thinking. yeonjun is the closest person to beomgyu and they're pretty much inseparable—and that's what confuses him, because he knew yeonjun won't leave beomgyu to suffer. he wouldn't dare.

taehyun knows him, and he's sure that he has a reason to disappear out of their sight.

he was brought back to reality when soobin tapped his back.

"we're here, get ready."

after they got off the bus, taehyun quickly turned his head around just to see a hospital. soobin brought him to busan medical center.

and he won't admit it but, he's afraid to know the truth.

"let's go, before i change my mind." soobin held his hand and together, they entered the building.

there's a lot of nurses going in and out of the rooms, but only a few patients and visitors. soobin dragged him into the reception area.

"good morning sir! your visiting schedule changed?" the receptionist smiled at soobin. she knows him. that means he's been here a lot of times.

"yeah, just this once. is there a visitor in his room right now?" soobin asked.

who's he? taehyun bit his lip from too much frustration. there's a lot of scenarios and predictions going on inside his head.

"you're just in time sir, his mom just left earlier. you and your friend can visit him now."

soobin nodded then thanked the receptionist. now he's dragging taehyun inside the elevator.

after a minute of walking, they arrived at room 209. before knocking, soobin faced him.

"look, behind this door is the answer to all of your questions. but let me remind you one thing—don't ever tell beomgyu." he stared at him then nodded.

they entered the room, and taehyun froze at what he saw.
