beomgyu is busy doing his essays inside the library. he honestly forgot that he had a lot of homeworks to do, plus the fact that the finals are coming. he can't afford to fail his subjects, or else his mom will kill him.

she already scolded him a lot of times for being absent in classes. if he fails just one subject, his mom will probably disown him.

he grunted when he realized he's written only two paragraphs. he didn't even fill half of the paper.

homeworks are shit.

he was getting really annoyed when he saw taehyun and kai coming towards his direction. thank goodness he has friends who can entertain him now.

"what are you doing here hyung?" kai asked, he sat across beomgyu while taehyun sat beside him.

"i'm finishing my essays. i forgot to do them yesterday," the boy pouted and taehyun can't help but to pinch his cheeks.

"tae, my cheeks aren't stretchable!" he hissed, hitting taehyun's hands.

kai just stared at the two boys bickering in front of him.

"hyungs, we're gonna get banned in the library if you two are noisy."

the two stopped at the mention of the word 'ban'. beomgyu then smiled at kai, then noticing that soobin is not with them.

"kai, where's soobin hyung?" beomgyu asked.

taehyun was the one who answered. "he said he's gonna go to busan to see his grandma. why?"

"nothing, just feels weird when he's not around. you know him, he makes the loudest noise."

taehyun snorted. "yeah, he always nags like an old man." they both laughed at the statement.

"hey! soobin hyung is not an old man! he nags because he cares, that's all." kai defends his hyung. he will not let anyone talk bad about soobin.

"aww," taehyun reached out to pat kai's head. "we know kai. we're just kidding."

"but he's still an old man though."

"hey!"

"table 4, please tone down your voices." the librarian announced while glaring at their table.

kai hit him with a book. "i told you to keep quiet."

he grunted, why was he the only one getting hit? he didn't make that noise alone though.

beomgyu was about to hit taehyun but he noticed the boy was staring into space. he looks like he's thinking about something.

"hey tae, is something wrong?"

the boy stared at him, completely deep in thought.

"kai," taehyun called kai who immediately look at him.

"what?"

"you said soobin hyung went to busan right? to his grandma?"

the younger nodded, completely confused by taehyun's question. beomgyu is confused too. he just looks at the two, listening.

"but kai... did you forget?"

"why? what's the matter?" beomgyu can't help but asked. he's curious.

taehyun looked at him.

"he's from Ansan, remember? he said that his grandparents has a farm there."

now that taehyun said that, he remembered that time when soobin brought them kimchi, saying that it came from his grandparents from Ansan.

"i don't know, there must be a mistake. maybe i heard him wrong." kai shrugged, ignoring taehyun's words.

"come to think of it, soobin hyung feels distant these days. do you think he's up to something?" taehyun added.

"no, he's still the same. he's just busy because there's a lot of works to do. finals are nearing, so it's just normal." kai explained. his hyung is still the same for him, and he's not up to something.

"okay, whatever. let's just study." taehyun said, he opened his textbook and answered the questions.

meanwhile, beomgyu is still thinking about soobin's actions these past few days. something's really off about the guy, but he can't seem to point what it is.

is he hiding something?

soobin sighed, putting his phone inside his pockets.

taehyun is doubting him, and he's sure that the boy will find out everything soon. taehyun is smart.

if taehyun finds out, he's sure that he'll tell beomgyu. that would be hell.

"thank you for visiting today sir!" he smiled at the nurse who greeted him, then headed out towards the exit of the hospital.

he'll need to keep this for a longer time until things go smooth. he can't afford to see his friends get hurt again.
