The humming of her mother's sweet voice sipped in to Andro's ears as the melody annexed her with joy. Andro loved to listen to her mother sing thus she was swaying unknowingly to the rhythm sweeping the floor with the broom.

Her mother's unexpected laughter brought her out of the trance she was in. Andro shyly looked away muttering ' What?'.

" Nothing,I love to seeing you happy. It is all I ever wished for you my dear." Elza stroked her daughter's chubby face as her hazel eyes swirled with emotion. Unfamiliar it was for Andro for she has never seen her mother so vurnerable.

" Promise me you will always find the light. No matter how dark things may seem." She cupped Andro's round face beesheing her daughter for reassurance.

Andro smiled brightly and nodded swifly as she promised to always find the light. Andro can't help but wonder if there was hidden meaning to her mother's words as her mother's utters echoed in her head again and again.

She got back to cleaning the house while her mother went to prepare breakfast for three.

Her sister (saba) kept ranting about the handsome prince of the kingdom as Andro rolled her eyes at how thick her sister is. There were only far apart by two years but they had so much differences.

Andro munched her food as she found herself wondering about that night with the lady. It felt real but how could it? No one has ever written about glowing swords. Uninterested by her sister's enthusiastic behaviour and filled with so much curiosity. Andro sneaked out of her little home.

She ran with a shaky breath to the library to find out the truth from the book. She opened the door and entered in to the library. The scent of the luscious books made her inhale it more. The cozy library was her escape.

" Ahhha if it isn't my favourite reader Andro" Ahmad smiled at her. His face wrinkled from aging but his smile warm like a summer.

Andro greeted the old man taking a seat at the back of the library behind the shelf of the stash of books. She took the book she so desperately wanted to finish even if it is wasn't reality and so it continued.

" The gods agreed with Andro's pleadings for she gave promised she would disappear so the gods allowed it finally agreeing the condition. The condition was a girl from the ethiopian royal blood line will be born. She will be born from Ethiopian king and Amor queen. She will have the power of a goddess and a heart of a human. As a symbol she will have a birth mark with a shape of a heart. She will be their ending or their arise from the dead. "

Andro gasped as she traced her birthmark with her fingers. It is real and her mother lied. Andro turned the page only to find it ripped out. She needed answers but the fact that the page was ripped out isn't helping at all. She let out a frustrated sigh with so much confusion in her mind as she tought of her uncertain future.

Andro was now sure that it was real not a dream. It was only possible explaination. The birth mark, her mother's overreaction when she told her about the lady in green. She felt cheated and lied to for her mother had clearly lied. She muttered inchorent words under her breath as she existed the library bidding farewell to the old man.

She entered the forest near her neighborhood. It was her secret place. It was where she came when she wanted to get way. It was her sanutary. A place she goes to heal her wound when the childern in the town bullied her.

The chirpping intone of the diverse birds as Andro stride through the forest. Her bare feet touching the soft grass as she paced in a carefree way. Her eyes looking around at the tall trees that have visible roots seen on the ground. The wind blowing the strands of her long silky hair as it grazed her skin.

Andro didn't know where she was but she kept walking. Her steps sure and firm. She reached a long clear river. The water surface pleading her to swim in it. She smiled as she observed the fishes jump out of the water only to dive back in. She ruffled the clear water with her fingers as she looked at her reflection.

She was wearing a blue armor like the woman in green but hers was in blue. She looked down only to see her plain dress.Confused by the reflection, she gazed back down and the blue armor was bestowed upon her.

" Remarkable isn't it?"

That sweet unforgettable voice echoed in the silent place.

Andro looked up and spotted the lady in green smiling sinisterly from the other side of the river She neared Andro. Her feet not quivering as she walked on the water. Andro was amazed by the woman's ability and gracious posture.

" Where am I?" Andro whispered in hush tone her eyes swimming in bewilderment.

" Inside your head" The lady said.

Her smile still visible on her
beautiful face.

" What do you mean?" Andro asked as she looked around the beautiful place.

This couldn't be inside my brain she spoke to herself.

" We are inside your imagination. You are the goddess of dreams after all. But now I have come to finish what I started before, Sit"

The lady spoke motioning for her to sit on soft grass. Andro nodded sitting on the grass. She has learned by now that denying this woman isn't real won't get her anywhere, since she was real not the figment of her ponders. The lady smiled in approval as she sat beside her fixing her eyes on the river infront of them.

" The price is to be immortal. At the time of your seventeenth birthday. The beast of extermination will wake from it's deep sleep. Once you become the champion of Ethiopia. You will leave every human character behind. Most of all you will have to fight the beast. Every Ethiopian and Amorian will be slaughtered unless you defeat it." The lady sighed.

" My mother said......."

" Your mother is a fool for thinking. She could shield you from your destiny ! "

The lady's tempered eyes reminded her of that of her mother's.

" Farewell next time. I will come to take you with me. You must train how to fight. "

The woman touched Andro's chubby cheeks with her soft hands and faded her figure blurring until she was completely gone.

" Wait!" Andro found herself saying again but the woman already vainshed.

Andro woke up gasping for air as she examined the place with her eyes. She was laying on her secret spot. Memories of walking out of the library and entering in to the forest came rushing in to her mind. Andro was amazed that she fell asleep in broad daylight. She never sleeps even in the darkest night where you have to swim in your dreams and enter a world entirely of your own.

She sighed getting up as she dusted of the dirt from her dress. She groaned thinking her mother will bite her head off for she left in the morning without a word to anyone of her whereabouts. Andro sighed knowing she will have some serious reprimand form her mother when she gets back. She heaved as she walked on the street.

Andro kept her gaze down as she silently walked to her home. She was debating with her thoughts. Ponderings about what she was seeing and hearing was overwhelming her head.

What if she was the Champion of Ethiopia? She has to fight a beast! Andro never held a sword in her entire life let alone fight a giant blood thrusty beast.
