"Jeongguk won't get back until later since he's with the team probably cleaning up and celebrating." Jungkook said plainly as he pushed open the door to his and his brother's shared penthouse.

Taehyung nodded, walking on inside. Like anyone would, his eyes scanned the interior of the penthouse, seeing the nice basic colors that were so aesthetic and clean.

The reason Taehyung was with Jungkook was because there was no way he was going to go to the motel and bother Jimin right after he admitted to sleeping with his ex.

Jungkook didn't want to originally but he decided against it and offered Taehyung a night at the penthouse.

He knew Jeongguk was going to flip his shit once he realized Taehyung was at the comforts of their home but Jungkook would deal with that when the time arrived.

All that mattered was making sure Taehyung could take a shower and put on some new clothes.

Then there was an awkward silence, Jungkook nor Taehyung having a clear idea on what should be said next or who should speak first.

It only became more awkward as they stood there so Jungkook parted his thin lips. "Um, the bathroom is upstairs, second door on the left."

"Okay . . . Thank you." Taehyung offered a weak smile, nodding to Jungkook who just walked away from him.

"I'll grab you clothes and drop them off up there. Do you want a drink or something to eat?" The younger wondered as he walked closer to the kitchen, scratching the side of his neck. The tension was so unbearable.

Taehyung watched Jungkook spare a look back, waiting for an answer. "No, I'm good but thanks. I think I'm just going to take a quick shower and . . . Try to stay out of the way." He said.

Then, nothing more was said and the two went their ways. Jungkook felt bad and wished he could say more to help the elder but his throat would clamp up and his mind would spin with insults of the plenty.

Jungkook knew he was being a dick to Taehyung by having double-meaning to his words and by being a bitter person, he knew Taehyung wanted to better himself, to show just how sorry he was and do right to the ones he did wrong.

But he was hurting at the same time and it was a race on if good or bad would come out of his mouth.

It wasn't too much longer after Jungkook dropped off clothes for Taehyung to wear that he heard the door being unlocked.

He wasn't prepared for this but he would just deal with the petty insults that would be thrown his way if any.

Jeongguk walked in, closing the door behind him. He turned back, seeing his brother chilling on the sofa with the TV remote in his hand.

He was about to speak but heard the running water from upstairs, cocking a brow. "Why are you running water? You don't pay the bills." He scolded.

Jungkook looked over at the door, keeping a calm face. "I know, I'm not running the water." He said with a shrug.

"Who's in the shower then?" Jeongguk set his bag down by the door, wearing a frown. "You bring someone home from the game?" He showed a bit of surprise.

"You know I'm not like that." Jungkook rolled his eyes, shaking his head.

"Then who's in the shower?" Jeongguk wondered, walking over to the couch and taking a seat. Jungkook kept his eyes locked on his brother, waiting for him to make the realization.

Jeongguk took a second and the anger settled in, huffing. "You better be kidding, Kook."

"No, I'm not. He told Jimin and I just fail to see Jimin wanting to see him immediately so I invited him over here just for tonight." Jungkook shrugged, looking away.

"I'm going to bed then, I don't want to argue." Jeongguk pushed to stand but his brother pulled him back, making him sit back down.

"You don't have to argue, you can just sit and not say anything. Remember when we were kids, that one saying, 'if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all'?" Jungkook commented.

As on cue, the shower went off to indicate Taehyung was finished with his shower.

Jeongguk pulled out his phone, wishing he could be anywhere but here but he supposed it wouldn't be too bad. Maybe.

Jungkook stood up and walked over to the front door, catching his brother's attention.

Jeongguk frowned. "Woah, where are you going?" He watched as Jungkook pulled his jacket and slipped it on.

"Oh, yeah," he smiled innocently. "I ordered pizza right before you got here, I'm going to go pick it up and some drinks."

The slightly older Jeon Twin glared at his brother, anger in his face.

He shoved himself to his feet and went to chase Jungkook until the aforementioned booked it out of the door, rushing down the hall to get to the elevator.

Jeongguk just chased him out, huffing when the door was slammed behind Jungkook. He sighed, hearing the tapping sounds of footsteps walking down the steps.

He wasn't prepared for this. Jeongguk turned and saw Taehyung standing there looking back at him with widened eyes.

It was a silent moment before Jeongguk began walking towards Taehyung, coming closer and closer to the elder.

Taehyung felt his heart race in his chest, gulping as his eyes followed the Jeon Twin's every step that took. He was afraid for what might happen, what the man might do to him.

Then, when Taehyung feared something might actually happen, Jeongguk pushed right past him and went right up the steps.

Taehyung felt relief but was confused at the same time. He saw the man's back disappear as he stormed away.

Something convinced him to follow and so he did. He knew it might've not been the brightest idea but something told him to.

"Jeongguk! Wait!" He called out to the younger, hearing the door slam to show the boy was hiding away. He clearly wanted nothing to do with Taehyung but that wasn't going to stop the aforementioned.

He went up and knocked on the door softly. "Ggukie, please, I want to be a better person and apologize for all my mistakes but I can't do that if you don't let me." He cut to the chase, sighing. Taehyung may or may not have snooped when he went upstairs and realized which room was Jeongguk's.

"You shouldn't even be here." Jeongguk called, sounding clearly annoyed. "Just go sit downstairs and wait for Kook or something."

Taehyung twisted the doorknob and pushed the door open, Jeongguk not locking it behind him which he wished he did.

The professional athlete huffed. "Just leave, Taehyung." He didn't know why the elder was constantly trying this hard. "What does it matter if I stay up here? You went three years without me, I'm sure another thirty minutes wouldn't hurt you."

"I'm really sick of you throwing that in my face." Taehyung looked sad, crossing his arms loosely over his chest.

"Maybe you shouldn't have been a slut and cheated." Jeongguk really was becoming pissed off now. "Maybe if you learned to control yourself, maybe be fucking responsible!" He was raising his voice now. "Dirty piece of shit! That's what you are! You're a dirty piece of shit, a slut, a cheating bitch!" He yelled at him, heart racing.

"I can't take it back! You yelling and screaming at me doesn't change that I slept with Leehyun!" Taehyung finally yelled back, not wanting to sit here any longer and be lectured on everything he knew he did wrong. "I said I was sorry! I said I regretted what I did! I can't change it!"

Jeongguk narrowed his brows and stomped closer, gripping Taehyung's collar and pulling him close, their noses barely touching. "Did he fuck you better than I did?" His voice was nothing but a low growl. "Did he touch all your pretty spots and make you scream the way I did, Taehyung? Did he make you see the stars?"

Taehyung didn't flinch or back away, keeping and returning the same energy given to him. "He fucked me better than you ever could." He knew two could play and Jeongguk wasn't the only one who could be ruthless.

"That so?" Jeongguk was getting pissed off more and more.

"Sure is, made me hit notes I didn't know I could hit." Taehyung placed his hands on Jeongguk's abdomen, wanting to shove him back but something held him from doing so. "I wish I cheated on you sooner."

It was a hard hit to Jeongguk's chest but he wasn't giving in. "So you could live up to your name of being a slut? You love it when I call you a slut and now I can say it a mean it."

"Not like it'll change anything." Taehyung said, shaking his head. "Maybe if you guys knew how to fuck better."

Jeongguk moved in a slick move and picked Taehyung up, throwing him on the bed and crawling over him. "You and I both know Leehyun never fucked you better than me, the way I would make your toe curl."

"Ever hear of faking it?" Taehyung teased but Jeongguk was only getting more pissed off, wanting to hit Taehyung but he had other plans and domestic abuse wasn't apart of it.

"You'll regret saying that."

"Or I'll just prove my point."
