Jungkook realized that after he left the scene with Jeongguk, he never got Taehyung's new number so he couldn't text him to tell him they wanted to be friends again. Try. Try to be friends again.

He had to resort to texting Jimin in order to get Taehyung's phone number.

Jungkook:
hey u have tae's number?

Jimin:
um yes, why?

Jungkook:
Because I asked for it ? And I want it??

Jimin:
Ok now why?

Jungkook:
Omfg. Bitch just fucking give it

Jimin:
So mean but whatever douche

And with that, Jimin had sent the number to Jungkook as requested. He put it in his phone and saved it under the name, 'Tae'.

He wanted to tell him that he wanted to meet up and he wanted to try things. What he didn't think of was when Taehyung would leave America and go back to South Korea.

Jungkook went to his messages, typing in the contact to shoot a message to the elder.

Jungkook:
hey, 🙂 it's Kook. Sorry we rushed out
like that but we want to try to be friends

Jungkook would be lying if he said his heart didn't race. It was almost exciting for some reason, reconnecting. Maybe he could invite Taehyung to Jeongguk's football game that was coming up this Thursday.

It was a rival game against the Atlanta Falcons, a huge rival to go against. It would be an exciting game since typically fights were bound to happen.

Jungkook, however, got a sudden feeling of vulnerability, feeling like he was the one begging for Taehyung to be his friend which it clearly wasn't the case whatsoever.

It was just overwhelming and felt too real and too much. Jungkook huffed, combing his slender fingers through his raven hair, eyes falling shut.

He sucked in a long deep breath, his lungs engulfing the air and then he slowly pushed it out.

Before his relaxation could take him any further, his phone dinged. He quickly picked it up, switching it on to see what Taehyung had responded with.

But it wasn't Taehyung.

Jimin:
But dont txt him rn, hes on a plane
back to korea or about to be idrk

And his heart dropped. He was too late and by the time Taehyung would see his message, he would be back in South Korea.

Jungkook:
Why didn't u fucking start with that ?

Jimin:
I asked u why and u just pestered me
about getting the number. This is on u

Jungkook wanted to write a very long and aggressively detailed message to Jimin but he pushed up instead and went to the door, taking his keys off the hook.

Jimin had said he might be boarding soon, maybe Jungkook could catch him so he didn't have to waste a ticket coming back to America.

The twins already wasted one of Taehyung's tickets by making him stay another day just to tell them what had happened, he didn't want him spending hundreds more on a ticket back to America just to go back to Korea anyways.

The younger twin left his shared penthouse, jogging down to the elevator and spamming the button.

Luckily, since Jeongguk traveled a lot for games, they lived pretty close to an airport and he would be able to get there in less than ten minutes. Five if he really stepped on it.

Jungkook wasn't desperate, was he? He really just wanted to make sure Taehyung knew what they're final choice was. He just wanted Taehyung to stay so they could catch up.

He definitely didn't have feelings; that wasn't the case at all. Jungkook just couldn't describe the feeling of missing someone, though, someone who really played a huge part in his and his brother's life.

Taehyung had once played such a huge part that their mom promised she would be nicer to Taehyung and would try to like him.

And she did. She kept to her word and realized just how sweet Taehyung was. Then it was all snatched away and she didn't know what happened, not until the boys came back after a few years to visit her and catch her up.

Jungkook wished he kept better contact with her. She had her faults like everyone but she was human after all and she had apologized to the boys for her uncalled for behavior.

Anyways, he had parked horribly, running out of his car and jogging over to the entrance. Some would think after doing this so many times that he would know what to do and where to go but that wasn't the case at all.

Jeongguk actually did everything for games and usually took care of passports. This was a new experience for all Jungkook cared.

But, regardless, he continued to run through, looking around. He wished he took English seriously right about now because everything was in English.

Some words he could pick up like the times and some big name places. Jungkook caught sight of the word, 'South Korea' so he headed in that direction.

Speed walking. He didn't know the time Taehyung's flight was but maybe he could make it just in time to stop the boy from leaving.

Who knows if Taehyung would want to come back after he had landed in Korea.

"Taehyung!" Jungkook called out, looking around and through the lines to see if he could see the curly brunet. "Fuck," he cursed when he didn't see a thing of the man.

He rushed over to a room but was stopped immediately, a lady standing in front of him with her arm out. "Sir, where's your ticket?"

"Uh," Jungkook looked at her, not knowing a word she said. "Uh, ticket . . . Not here-u." He said, shaking his head. "I don't speak-u English. Only Korean."

"Can you wait while I bring someone who does speak Korean?" She asked, brushing a strand of her naturally ginger locks behind her ear as she picked up her work phone, calling for someone.

Jungkook huffed, tapping his foot. He didn't want to sit here so when she seemed the most off guard, he booked it into the room, pushing her arm down and running right on inside.

"Taehyung!" He called out again, looking around the bunches of faces he saw since people looked back at him like he was a mad man. He scanned the room, a frown tugging on his lips. He was too late, he had to have been.

Before he could walk out of the room willingly, guards came and grabbed his arms, yanking him away.

Jungkook didn't fight back, he just followed them and let the two men carry him out.

They had a pretty tight grip on his biceps, making it where he could run from them and get in more trouble but that wasn't Jungkook's plans at all.

The guard to his right seemed to have took notice of Jungkook's appearance.

"Isn't your next game home? Why would you try to fight your way into the boarding room?" One of the guards asked, thinking it was Jeongguk and not Jungkook.

"No English." Jungkook said, not sure what they really said but he figured saying he doesn't speak English worked enough.

"He asked why you're sneaking into a boarding room when your next game is home." The other guard said, making Jungkook look over. It was a melanin man, pretty light brown eyes. He was mixed with two races, African-American and Korean. Either his native language, like Jungkook, was Korean, or he was just that good.

"Oh, I'm not Jeongguk. That's my twin brother." Jungkook answered. "I had to find someone but they're not there."

The guard who spoke Korean repeated what Jungkook said in English to the other guard who just nodded as a response.

"Oh, that sucks." The guard said in Jungkook's native tongue. "Hopefully things work out." He bid and let Jungkook go, tapping the other guard to come on so they could go their own way. They carried Jungkook close to the exit but let him walk out rest of the way.

The Jeon Twin sighed, shaking his head. He walked down the steps in a dead manner; slow and wobbly. He was way too slow and had taken his time. He probably could have made it if he was just a bit quicker.

Jungkook pulled out his phone, seeing as his phone was getting service as he exited the airport. He had gotten a few messages from his brother asking his whereabouts and just other random notifications.

He had decided to tell Jimin he was too late.

Jungkook:
He boarded. I didn't see him

Jimin:
oh too bad then

Jungkook:
Yeah but what can u do

Jimin:
Call me

Jungkook:
Why?

Jimin:
Because ? I said so? Just call me

So Jungkook did. He clicked on Jimin's icon and pressed the call button, hearing it ring before it was finally picked up.

"Hey, Kook." Jimin said into the phone, a clear smile on his face.

"Why did you need me to call?" He asked as he walked over to his car.

Jimin chuckled over the line. "Taehyung's here with me in a motel. I told him to at least hang out with me before he went back to Korea. He told me everything you guys did so."

"You're going to regret hanging out once you find out." Jungkook let slip, rolling his eyes. "Why would you lie to me? Making me waste gas."

"Find out? Find out what, Jungkook?"

"Hmm?" Jungkook heard Jimin questioned what he said. He decided to play the dumb card.

"Why am I going to regret hanging out with Taehyung?" Jimin repeated.

"I don't know. But you've yet to answer me, why did you lie?" He played it off.

Jimin decided to move on too. "He told me what stunt you two pulled and I decided to get you for it. Jeongguk wasn't going to chase him but I knew you would."

Jungkook sighed. "Whatever. Where's Taehyung now?"

"Sleeping."

"Still? It's a bit late to be sleeping." Jungkook commented. "But I guess. Can you tell him that I want him to come with everyone on the Thursday game? I want to try to be friends. Everyone besides Gguk seemed to miss him." He added.

Jimin waited a moment. "Sure."
