"Guys, it's a big fucking gate that says 'Entrance One'." Jungkook was so annoyed, hearing Namjoon complain about not knowing where they were.
"All I see is food, people in red, and gift shops." Namjoon answered, looking around at his surroundings.
"Red? Are you guys on the whole opposite side of the stadium?" Jungkook had never huffed so hard in his life, rubbing his temple with clear irritation. "Okay, I'm on my way. Let me just get the others situated." It was way too early for any of this.
Yoongi and Hoseok weren't as stupid and met back up with Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook.
Seokjin and Namjoon just so happened to wander all the way on the other side where the opposing fans were at.
The Jeon Twin hung up and looked back at the others. "You guys are just going to stand right here, 'kay? Don't wander, don't touch anything, don't move, don't even think of leaving. Just stand here. If you have to go to the bathroom, just hold it until I return." He made it clear, treating them like they were his kids.
"Ya know," Yoongi started. "For being the youngest, you sure are the bossiest." He added, shaking his head slightly.
Jungkook decided on ignoring this, thinking it would just be a waste of time to sit there and go back and forth with his hyung.
The remaining few watched Jungkook finally take his leave, all standing there awkwardly together. The awkward was killing all of them slowly, Taehyung especially. He wished the ground would open up and devour him whole.
"Are you excited to see Jeongguk?" Yoongi asked, breaking the silence and looking over at the now youngest who had his head hung low. He only picked it up once he heard Yoongi's question.
"Um, excited? No. Ready? Yes." He said, pretty pleased with his answer. "I'm more scared than anything; nervous."
"Why? Didn't you already get the hard part out of the way?" Hoseok wondered. "You guys already all met up and talked things out."
"Jeongguk wasn't on board at first." Taehyung admitted. "He actually despised of the idea and wanted nothing to do with me so to say I'm excited to see him is way off."
"What exactly did you guys talk about?" Yoongi asked but he appeared to be hesitant, Taehyung and the aforementioned sharing a look before breaking the gaze away. It was knowing.
"Um," Taehyung looked at Hoseok and then to Jimin. He could see the curious and expectant eyes coming from his shorter friend, eyes of not being aware what Taehyung was hiding away from him. "Just talked. I rather not go into detail." He muttered, looking back at the ground beneath their feet.
Taehyung could feel the tightness restrict his chest, feeling his heart break a little more inside. The memories of the shit he did flooded his head, causing overwhelming nerves to crush him internally. He didn't want to be here anymore.
And it hurt more knowing Yoongi was trying to get Taehyung to say it because he thought it was right. It hurt so much that Yoongi wanted Taehyung to admit he cheated on the Jeon Twins with Jimin's boyfriend.
Yoongi was the only one to know what Taehyung did and he played it off so well that he didn't know a thing. Yoongi promised he wouldn't tell anyone as long as Taehyung never mentioned that Yoongi knew.
A year after Taehyung left, Yoongi had travelled to Daegu to talk business and whatnot. He was there for only two nights and was alone. Hoseok stayed back in Seoul.
What neither one of them thought was that they were going to bump into each other.
And Taehyung broke because his secret was eating him alive.
"Taehyung?" Yoongi frowned, seeing the bewildered look plastered over Taehyung's delicate features. He looked to startled.
"Hyung, Yoongi hyung, hi." The younger appeared to be reluctant but relieved all at the same time, bottom lip quivering just at the sight of Yoongi.
He was so lonely in Daegu all by himself and hadn't made friends just yet so to see Yoongi really made his emotions fly high. He hadn't felt so lonely but it was the price he needed to pay for what he did.
"No, woah, don't hi me." The shorter of the two narrowed his brows. "What the hell are you doing here? W-Why are you . . . You have some explaining to do."
"Well, firstly," Taehyung was feeling ballsy. "I don't have to explain to anyone." He said, shaking his head. "I don't have to explain anything. Secondly . . ."
Yoongi stood there, waiting for more to be said but it was an action that followed. Taehyung threw his arms around Yoongi's small frame and engulfed him close to his chest, taking the older by surprise. "I fucked up." He whispered into Yoongi's ear.
He sounded so scared and Yoongi even began to become a bit fearful. Taehyung was all nervous and anxious, being emotional as well. It was a weird and sad sight to witness.
The elder pulled back, looking at the boy who was trying to hold tears back. "What did you do?" He asked simply.
". . ." Taehyung removed his hands, shoving them deep into his coat pocket as the cold breeze picked up and wind began to blow lightly through their hairs and cover their bare skin.
God, he knew how dramatic he made it.
"Taehyung?" Yoongi reached his hand out, a frown forming.
"I cheated."
"Okay, thank god you morons didn't walk around. I really didn't have the time to chase you all down." Jungkook's voice was more than enough to startle Taehyung out of his trance, making the boy look up.
He rubbed his wrist, trying to find something else to focus his mind on. Multiple things just so he could get as far as possible from the things he did.
It might've not seemed too bad, it probably was a bit dramatic to the fellow readers but Taehyung was ashamed of himself in every way possible. He was embarrassed.
Not only did he ruin a valued friendship with multiple people, he also broke his loves' hearts. He then proceeded to run away and play victim at that. He tried to justify what he did some days, tried to make himself feel better.
Taehyung lied, cheated, and fled. He left everyone with unanswered questions and blank stares. All because he got slightly tipsy one night. It wasn't even like he was drunk out of his mind, just a steady buzz.
And there was no way Taehyung ever believed he would have to tell someone he cheated.
Especially not with someone who was dating his best friend but he had to come out with it soon.
He could feel the same exact feeling he got all those years back; his nerves and his thoughts eating away at him, telling him he should make a run for it and never return, ever. He felt like he should just tell Jimin but he didn't want to lose the only person who was willing to stay by his side throughout all of this.
But Jimin didn't know what he was covering for.
"Taehyung!" Once again, he was pulled away from his toxic thoughts, turning and seeing that Jungkook was standing a few feet ahead walking into the stadium. "Come on, slow poke."
The boy nodded and caught up, the rest walking a bit ahead of Jungkook since he stopped to call for Taehyung. "You okay?" He asked, looking to see the feared look Taehyung was showing.
"No." He answered vaguely.
"What's wrong?" Jungkook questioned, wanting to touch Taehyung to see if it would calm his nerves but Jungkook decided against it.
The older of the two just shook his head. He would break down if he explained what was going on. "Just about the game; nervous." He lied straight through his teeth and Jungkook knew that but he wasn't going to sit here and beg for an answer from someone who clearly wasn't willing to talk about it.
So he fell silent, just nodding.
They were about to catch up to the others, everyone going to where their seats were to get situated but Taehyung stopped in his tracks and made Jungkook stop, having a loose hold on his wrist. He had to say something.
Jungkook felt like there was electricity running through his veins at the touch of Taehyung.
"I'm going to tell Jimin." Taehyung uttered, eyes showing nothing but the truth.
"Really?" Jungkook questioned. He was surprised to hear such confession but wasn't against it whatsoever. He thought Jimin deserved to know just as much as the twins did.
"Yeah . . . It hurts knowing he thinks I'm innocent and just- I can't look at him without being reminded of what I did." Taehyung admitted. "It's too much." He added on with pure honesty.
"Well, yeah, you should tell him but I think you should wait until you two are together alone. It's a lot to hear." Jungkook told him, shrugging. "Just wait until you two are back at the motel to tell him. Order some pizza, put on a movie, and just say it."
"It's not that easy." Taehyung sighed.
"Guys, come on!" Hoseok called down, both boys looking back at Hoseok who was shoving his foam-finger into the air.
Jungkook held a single digit to tell him to give a moment, turning his attention back to Taehyung who was already looking back at him. "You're right, it isn't that easy and I'm sorry I can't sympathize the struggle you have to go through to tell Jimin that you slept with his boyfriend." Jungkook shrugged, face blank with little to no emotion. He pulled his wrist away from Taehyung's hold and turned away to get to his seat.
Taehyung held in a breath at that. Him saying it to himself was one thing but hearing it come from others sounded so evil and horrid. It definitely was something he would never forgive himself for.
His eyes wandered and caught glimpse of Jimin, everything seeming to slow for a moment, the smile on his face growing twice it's size, eyes having the prettiest of sparkles, and his heart was on his sleeves.
It was all in slow motion but everything returned to normal speed when the announcer began to speak, telling fans the game was about to start.
________
A/N:
I know this is a bit of a filler but it gives more insight on what happened while Taehyung was gone and now you all know that Yoongi in fact did know what happened before anyone else but Taehyung told Yoongi to never bring it up to anyone.
The angst really starts here.
