"So . . ."

"So," Jungkook said, sitting across from Taehyung who awkwardly stirred his glass of ice tea with his straw. "Sorry, um, just a bit nervous. I'm not too sure why."

"I think we're both nervous. We haven't had the time to hang out like this, guess it's just different." Taehyung said, taking a small sip of his tea.

"Hmm, yeah," the younger hummed. "How was your day with Jimin?" Jungkook wanted to fill the void of never ending awkwardness, wanting the ground to open a black hole so he could submerge himself into the darkness.

Taehyung could feel how tense it was but decided it was best not to speak on it. "It was fun, we enjoyed ourselves. It was just sad saying goodbye to him this morning."

"I bet, it's hard saying goodbye to someone, especially if you never got to say goodbye." Jungkook spoke without a thought, Taehyung falling silent. "Shit, um, sorry, I didn't mean—"

"Jimin told me something that I feel like you should know," Taehyung began. "What happened was a few years ago, I really do think we should be able to move on and continue without letting it get to us."

Jungkook looked down at his glass of water, watching the ice stay still since he's yet to touch it or drink from his said glass. He was going to agree but he turned his attention back towards the boy ahead of him. "But it wasn't just a few years ago, Taehyung." He replied, deeply taking in and putting words together to help what was to escape his lips next. "I mean, you only just came back a few weeks ago. But, no, you're right. We should just move on."

Taehyung forcibly smiled, nodding ever so slightly. "Glad we agree." He said in a monotonous tone, the real tension setting in between them. "Anyways, moving-"

"The cheating part of it was a few years ago but even then, we didn't know that. To us, this is all very recent." Jungkook cut off Taehyung, the other looking at the younger with disbelief.

"You know what-"

"And yes, I get we should just forget about it but . . ." Jungkook continued, not letting Taehyung speak his peace. "You were so hurt when I played a small prank on you. You ran away to a place that was forty-five minutes away from where we were. I think it's fair we be upset."

"Kook,"

Jungkook shook his head. "But god forbid we be a bit on edge with things."

"Jungkook," Taehyung said sternly. "Baby, I understand what I did, I get it, I know, but fucking hell." He leaned back in his seat, bringing his hands through his hair. "You guys sound like a broken record and if this is what I have to hear over and over and fucking over again, then I'm going to leave right now." He sighed, shaking his head.

He dropped his hands, looking at Jungkook with tears in his eyes. "I did wrong . . . But I've apologized more than I can count. I've punished myself and I would let you guys beat me until I couldn't move, but please, for our sakes, drop it." Taehyung was pleading. "It's driving me insane. I can't hear another second of it. I did Jimin just as dirty and we had a grand time last night."

"He had no romantic connection to you." Jungkook said, his voice a bare whisper.

Taehyung's eyes stared into Jungkook's, he was frozen, looking for a hint of the younger trying to be funny but it was all seriousness. He was dumbfounded to say the least.

"That's what you got?" Taehyung inquired, lips slightly parted, brows furrowed. "Jungkook, I can't do this with you guys." He pushed to his feet and grabbed his light jacket since it was a bit windy today.

"Wait, Taehyung, I-I'm sorry," the black-haired adult quickly leaned over and grabbed ahold of Taehyung's wrist, pulling him back. "I'll forget about it. I just got into the moment. Part of me wants to talk about it all, just us."

"And a public café isn't the place to do such a thing, hun. If you really want to talk about it, we can leave here and go somewhere else to have a private conversation." Taehyung said that but he was so drained of the topic. He felt like he had to explain himself several different times.

Jungkook could see this, so he shook his head and offered a smile. "No, let's just enjoy what we have. Let's eat some food whenever the waiter decides comes to ask us what we want, and then we can do whatever you want."

"Really? You'll leave it be?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook's hand had loosened and Taehyung had taken his to pull his wrist back but not all the way, leaving it so they were holding hands.

"I promise,"

"And then he decided it would be funny to put tape on the doorframe. Clear tape so I couldn't see it." Jungkook told, Taehyung laughing right to his right.

The elder had a little bag of seeds to toss onto the ground for the birds to enjoy. He almost spilled it three different times though because of how much he was laughing.

Jungkook was telling stories of him and Jeongguk and what they've been up to. Apparently, Jeongguk thought he was so comical and would play a few pranks on his brother here and there.

"I never been clothes lined in my life up until then." Jungkook told. "Fell straight on my ass. Gguk told me I looked like a cartoon character when I fell; feet all in the air."

Taehyung laughed some more, able to imagine it completely in his head. "What— What did you do when you got ahold of him?" Taehyung asked in a fit of giggles.

Jungkook enjoyed the sound, thinking back to the moment. "Well, I made him clean all the oil he put on the floor and I played my own little prank back on him."

"Which was?" Taehyung looked at the Jeon Twin expectantly, eyes wide and teary but from all his obnoxious laughter.

"Well, Gguk has a small phobia of clowns. He refuses to admit it because he thinks it makes him childish and weak but I know his fear all too well." The young twin began, his cheeks hurting from his own smile and small chuckles.

"You scared him? How dare you use someone's fear against them," but Taehyung wasn't serious, he was still laughing away.

The two were shoulder-to-shoulder, they would've been hand-in-hand but Taehyung had the bag of seeds for the birdies.

"Oh, oh no, I didn't only scare him, he— I don't know if I should say." Jungkook looked to his right, seeing Taehyung pull his brows in together but just a bit.

"Tell me! You can't leave me on a cliff hanger!" Taehyung complained much like readers did, a small pout forming at his lips.

"He pissed himself because I scared him that bad." Jungkook finally gave in, not like it was much holding him back.

With the newly told secret, Taehyung burst into laughter, stopping in place just to laugh. He bent over, his body weak from his giggles.

Jungkook joined in, unable to hold back.

He remembered the day he scared his brother so bad that Jeongguk ended up peeing himself. It was so vivid.

Jungkook was hiding in the bathroom with a clown mask, lights all turned off to create an ominous affect.

Jeongguk had finished his workout and when the aforementioned worked out, he usually chugged water to stay hydrated — as one should. Please remember to stay hydrated and drink water.

Jungkook knew exactly where his brother was heading too so he hid away, lurking in the shadows.

He could hear his brother walking closer and closer to the bathroom, humming a song to himself which was the perfect distraction.

Then, Jeongguk pushed the bathroom door open and flicked on the lights. That's when Jungkook jumped up and screamed right in his brother's face.

Jeongguk stumbled back and hit the wall, yelling back out of fear and he pinched his knees together.

Jungkook was laughing and ripped the mask off his head but his ears picked up the sound of dripping, eyes following where the sound was and that's when he noticed Jeongguk light grey sweats were a bit darker than he last recalled.

This only made Jungkook laugh more, making his brother feel ten times worse.

Jeongguk was so embarrassed and rightfully so, he was a grown ass NFL football player who just peed himself because of a little fright.

Jungkook thought his brother deserved it.

After that day, Jeongguk's lame pranks came to an end and they agreed never to talk about what happened the day the slightly older twin pissed himself.

"You're so mean!" Taehyung said after the story was completely told, gently hitting Jungkook's arm.

"What? No! He deserved it! Did I forget to mention how bruised my tailbone was after I fell?" Jungkook said, shaking his head. His smile was never ending.

"You made him pee himself, that's despicable!" Complained the elder, rolling his eyes. He went to say something more in regards to Jungkook's cruel behavior but he tripped over his own two feet.

He, however, never hit the ground. Jungkook acted quicker and pulled him back before he could even make it close to the concrete.

"Woah, you got to learn how to walk." Jungkook chuckled, his hands still holding onto the boy who was close to his own body. He had one hand gripped on his shoulder and the other holding his waist.

The two were standing in front of the other, facing each other. Taehyung was looking at Jungkook and vise versa.

"Ah, thanks," said the elder, his hands staying in front of his with his baggie of seeds.

"Yeah . . . No problem." Jungkook answered in a soft breath, his smile soon falling in a flat line, eyes tracing over Taehyung's features gently.

Taehyung knew that Jungkook could let go but he didn't want him to, instead, he dropped his seeds onto the floor and placed his hands gently on Jungkook's small waist.

This pulled the younger from his small trance. "Your seeds," Jungkook looked down but Taehyung pulled his hand and cupped the younger's cheek, making him look back at him.

Taehyung leaned in a bit but he refused to close the gap between the two, wanting Jungkook to make the decision whether or not they should kiss.

The aforementioned was reluctant and pulled his head back some, seeing the shock in Taehyung's eyes when he did so. He could feel the other's hands start to slip so he acted quick and pushed their lips together.

Jungkook's hold on his shoulder and waist became tighter; more stable. He pulled his bodies together and kissed him with passion.

Taehyung gladly returned it, both of his hands finding Jungkook's cheeks and holding him in place.

The softness of their lips working together, the moistness of their saliva coating each other's lips and keeping the two connected.

Everything felt so right and their hearts were bursting with pure emotions. It was like fireworks surrounded them; sparks flying. No one could tell them this was wrong in any way shape or form.

For a moment, things were alright and hearts were content.
