     "Want to go somewhere?"

The question was so random and caught both Taehyung and Jimin off guard, making their faces contour both shock and confusion.

"Woah, hold up," Jimin shut the door and walked forward. "Can't you see me and Taehyung are in the middle of somewhere?"

"Were, Jimin. You and Taehyung were in the middle of something." Jungkook said and put his attention back on Taehyung but not for long.

"You don't get to barge in here and take him away from me." Jimin crossed his arms over his chest and frowned, brows pulled in. "I had him first."

"Cut it, I'm more fun than you anyways." The youngest said, trying to say more to Taehyung but Jimin was always quick to speak.

"Tae, tell him how we were going to be lazy and relax all day and be piggies!"

"Well, yeah, we were-"

"Tae, tell Jimin how I wanted to go somewhere to help make you feel welcomed!"

"I don't remember-"

Jimin huffed. "See! He doesn't even remember it! Me and him had plans!"

"Being fat in bed isn't plans," Jungkook argued.

"Tell that to Taehyung, he came here to hang out and hanging out is making plans." Jimin retorted.

Taehyung sighed and slumped, hearing the two go back and forth about who he got to hangout with. It actually made him feel a lot worse than probably intended.

No one should be fighting to hangout with him, not after everything. He truly tried to forgive himself for what he did but he just couldn't bring himself to that sort of comfort.

He was buzzed and things were blurry, he didn't even remember what happened the morning he woke up. But, though things were all hazy, he felt like he should've had better control of himself. He felt like he should've known better than to do what he did.

"So, who are you going to hang out with?" Wondered Jimin with his arms still crossed over his chest, leaning on one leg.

Taehyung a blinked a few times. "Jimin, you're going back to Korea tomorrow morning, right?" He returned with another question.

"Yeah?"

"We can always hang out back in Korea together." Taehyung spoke softly.

"Wait, you're going to leave me for some dick?" Jimin was stunned to say the least, surprised to hear such things.

Jungkook snapped his head to the side. "I wasn't going to fuck him, just go places with him." Argued the younger.

Taehyung opened his mouth to speak but here we go again, the two going back and forth once again. He huffed and leaned back on the bed frame, hearing the two bicker on and on about what was going to be done.

Sooner or later, Taehyung decided enough was enough.

"Stop!" He rose his voice a bit and made the two look back at him with awaiting looks. "I never said I was going with Kook, I just wanted you to know that when we go back to Korea tomorrow, we can hang out there too."

"You're leaving tomorrow?" Jungkook questioned softly, his demeanor changing with the information provided. "Why didn't you tell us? Me even? I get why not Jeongguk but me?"

"I mean, I didn't know until Jimin told me he was going back tomorrow. We can't stay here forever." Taehyung frowned.

"Sure you can," Jungkook told, smiling wide. "You can stay in the states and just sleep in my penthouse, we can make it work."

"You could've said home, I think he as well as I would've known what you were on about." Jimin said, shaking his head. He returned to his spot beside Taehyung on the bed. "We all know you and your brother are rich."

"Jimin, I'm having an adult conversation with another adult right now, can you excuse yourself and shut the fuck up?" Jungkook offered a smile but it was sarcasm at its finest.

"Don't forget you're the one who barged in on my Tae-time." Jimin warned, rolling his eyes.

Taehyung hummed and took Jungkook's hand in his own, looking up at him with his doe eyes. "I would love to go hang out with you but today's Jimin's last day and I truly want to spend time with him." The brunet said softly, a sorry smile showing, brows furrowed. "I want to cherish the time me and him have right now."

Jungkook frowned but he completely understood, he just thought he would leave here with Taehyung by his side. "Ah, no, it's okay. Um, I'll plan something for tomorrow if you want." He pulled back and stood straight. "Sorry for just rushing in here so unexpectedly." Jungkook walked towards the door and pulled it back open.

Jimin and Taehyung watched silently.

Jungkook then left, wishing he was stopped but he couldn't just expect Taehyung to leave the comfort of Jimin, it wasn't right or fair.

"You know he likes you, right?" Jimin said, seeing straight through Jungkook like he just bathed in Windex.

"What?" Taehyung directed his attention to only Jimin, cocked brow. "Like, a crush like? Romantic like?"

"Yeah," the elder nodded.

"How're you so sure?" Taehyung wondered, tilting his head a bit to the right, waiting for answer.

"Taehyung, I was once super close to Jungkook, before you guys even met each other. If that's not convincing enough, I knew how he acted towards you and the rest of the group. He still holds those characteristics." Jimin informed. "He was so willing to just snatch you away to go somewhere with you, even after I told him we were spending time together. It took you saying it to make him go away."

"I think it's just lingering feelings," the brunet muttered, looking down at his lap. No one was paying attention to the conference anymore; they didn't even know if Jeongguk was still being featured. "Have you ever seen an ex and just remember what you use to feel? Actually, those feelings never go away. Sure you can mask them with disappointment, hate, anger, but they truly never disappear. They subside or hide away. I don't think he's there though, ya know, ready to call me his or to just try again."

"How are you so sure that's the issue?" Jimin returned the question, appreciating the logical side of Taehyung. "What if he is? Are you? Would you try again for a relationship?"

Taehyung hummed in thought, taking the questions in. "Yes and no." He vaguely told but soon added more. "I would love to hold Jungkook and Jeongguk in my arms, brush the hair from their faces and kiss their lips but . . . I- I just don't think what I did will ever leave them. A relationship now won't ever be the same as it was then."

"Of course it won't, that's just common knowledge, babes. Not only because of what happened but because you grew up as well." Jimin chuckled softly but it wasn't humorous or in a way to tease, it was reassuring; comforting. "But, I believe you a hundred percent when you say you're sorry. I believe you so much and I truly do forgive you for what happened back then. You were drunk, Taehyung. Drunk. Leehyun was there and you were by his side. You never got drunk before and yes, there was many ways to prevent it but it happened. Why sit here and ponder on the shit you could've changed when you can just worry about fixing your mistakes now? What if's will forever be what if's."

"It'll always leave a bad taste on their tongue." Taehyung didn't meet Jimin's eyes, feeling like he just couldn't meet his gaze.

"That's if they let it." Jimin replied assuringly. "They can choose to taste something else or they can keep tasting from it and let the taste make a home forever on their tastebuds. It gets to them because they let it."

". . ." Taehyung was silent.

Jimin moved his hands and forced Taehyung to look at him, touching his cheek caressingly. "Taehyung, I know I yelled at you at the game because it hurt me but look at us now. I could be just like them and shun you away, belittle you every time I see you, or I can learn to forgive and forget. I'm not letting what happened stay on my mind. There's a choice to everything and if they decide to let it stop them from loving you, then shame on them."

Taehyung released a breath that felt like it was trapped in his lungs forever. He soon threw his arms around Jimin and pulled him in close; chest-to-chest.

Taehyung punished himself numerous times, he let the twins scream and threaten him because he knew he deserved it but Jimin made valid points.

It's always a choice whether to let go or hold on; to be mad or forgive. Taehyung knew nothing would ever go back to being the way it was but that doesn't mean people can't try.

What Taehyung did was careless and reckless but if Jimin can forgive him, someone who had been best friends with him for years, then so could the twins.

A knock interrupted the comforting silence, causing a loud huff to erupt from Jimin. The aforementioned pushed to his feet for the second time — which was already too much — and headed to the door.

His once bitter mood turned into one of glee once he noticed it was the food they ordered. He whipped the door open, grinning ear-to-ear.

"Finally!" He said and grabbed the money off the dresser, handing it over to the delivery person.

Taehyung watched Jimin bring the food inside, seeing as he set it down on the bed. For just two people, they ordered quite a bit but neither one of them were going to judge and they were simply going to pig out together.

Taehyung giggled and helped Jimin unload the two bags full of takeout, placing containers here and there on the foot of the bed.

"I might just have to bring some of this back with me to Korea. Think they'll have a microwave to heat it up?" Jimin jokingly asked, both sharing a laugh together at the nonsense spilling from the elder's lips.

Times like these were times to be remembered but as days went on and time passed, they'll eventually be forgotten but not for awhile.

Not for a long while.
