     "No"

"Yes"

"What?" Jeongguk snapped his head to look at his slightly younger twin brother. "Are you crazy?! You're not serious, right? This is just a joke? Haha?"

"Gguk, first off, calm down, you sound really childishly." Jungkook gave a bored look to accommodate his words. "Secondly, why not? It's been years and he wanted to meet up to tell both of us so he could fix it."

Taehyung nodded, trying to stop the tears rolling down his cheeks.

"He could've told us the day he fucking left!" Jeongguk rose his voice. "He made it so much worse than what it had to be, Kook! We could've solved this but he decided to run away!"

"Because he was scared of what we would do. Do you blame him entirely?"

"Yes!" Jeongguk nodded as if it were the most obvious thing ever. "When the fuck did you care on how he felt?! Seriously?!" The pro athlete was furious, face bright red with rage and anger. He couldn't believe his ears. Jungkook was crazy to him. All the shit Taehyung put them through mentally and he wanted to rekindle things? Bullshit.

"G-Ggukie-"

"Don't you fucking dare call me that, Kim! Don't even try!" Jeongguk jolted his attention to the crying adult who had a quivering bottom lip. "And wipe your fucking crocodile tears or I'll give you something to bawl over like a little bitch!"

Jungkook rolled his eyes. After hearing what Taehyung had to say and seeing Jeongguk reaction, he couldn't help but to agree with the way Taehyung handled things. Well, on some sort of level. He didn't think running away was the greatest choice but he understood one way or the other.

The dude was drunk. He made the mistake of sleeping with someone else — which is pretty common while under the influence. Taehyung was scared of facing the Jeon Twins, afraid of what outcome would've came with it and Jungkook could see why.

He didn't only see it from Jeongguk but also himself, too. He also had rose his voice and threatened serious harm to Taehyung so he had no choice but to understand why Taehyung was scared and decided to flight.

"Jeongguk," Taehyung corrected himself. "I-I'm terribly sorry, really. I will n-never forgive myself for what I did. I k-know it's stupid or whatever but . . ." He wiped his tears, trying to stop his bottom lip from quivering the way it was, trying to calm down and not breathe so heavy. "J-Just let's t-try to be friends . . . Please?"

Jeongguk sighed, looking away in what seemed to be in thought. He gave it a moment before he locked eyes back with Taehyung, leaning forward ever so slightly. His and the elder's face was a few inches apart they were so close. "I rather pick up every grain of sand in the Sahara desert, blindfolded, using only my fucking elbows before I even consider being your fucking friend again." Jeongguk said in a low tone that was anything but sweet. He pushed to his feet, walking away from the table without another word to be discussed.

That's when Jungkook huffed, shaking his head and chasing after his brother. The said twin was already in the car, door slammed behind him and the seatbelt pulled over his well built body. He wasn't having any of it, he didn't want to talk about it, didn't want to do anything about it. He simply wanted to go home.

He didn't buy any of the apologies. He felt like Taehyung didn't care and who was he to beg for them to be friends again? Jeongguk wasn't in the mood to deal with any it.

He was cut from his thoughts when Jungkook slipped in on the other end, releasing a huff of clear annoyance to show Jeongguk just how upset he was at the said adult. He couldn't believe how childish Jeongguk was acting. It was years ago. Years ago. Jungkook held a grudge but that was before knowing the the entire issue. He still had some uncertainty but he was willing to try and sometimes, trying is what was needed.

Yes, Taehyung cheated on them, and yes, he ran away instead of confronting the issues up front, but he was ready to make amends and take ownership for the wrong doing he had done. He's willing to do what he can to make it all up and it's responsible enough of him.

What he did was already in the past and there was no changing that but he could try to do better now and that's what made Jungkook happy.

Jeongguk merely disagreed.

"You're a bitch ass, stupid ass, lame ass, dumb ass, you know that?" Jeongguk insulted, arms crossed over his broad chest and eyes glued to the road ahead of him despite Jungkook being the one who was now driving off from the small café to get back to their shared penthouse.

"Okay, Gguk, get your anger out." Jungkook was truly sick of the childish acts. Part of him understood where Jeongguk was coming from though. Years of believing you chased away the only thing you ever loved romantically, your first time, first love, your heart and soul. It was teenage love but it felt like it would last for eternity. Jeongguk had anger issues and he wasn't exactly the best at commitment.

Unless it was football, then he was great. But after Taehyung, he fell into the habit of hitting it and quitting it. He would sleep around and it wasn't too long after when his body count of one turned into double digits.

Jungkook doesn't know the exact number but he knows it's around his count which is still twelve since he didn't sleep around like his brother.

"No, I'm serious, Kook. You've bitched with me and we've complained together how life was unfair because he just up and left! He ghosted us for crying out loud! And now you're willing to baby him?!"

"Did you even look at it from his perspective?"

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THERE TO LOOK AT?!" Jeongguk was shouting now. "He. Cheated! There isn't anything to look at! Leehyun didn't force him into having sex, Taehyung fucking told us that he was the one to initiate it! So, genius, tell me what exactly we're looking at in his perspective?" He was so dumbfounded. Utterly. He couldn't believe what his brother was saying.

Jungkook waited ten seconds, trying to not get too pissed off himself. He tapped his fingers patiently off of the stirring wheel, trying to calm his nerves. "You can look me in the eye and tell me you've never done anything stupid while you were under the influence? Ever?"

"I didn't cheat!"

"You had no one to cheat on! Taehyung was twenty-one before us, he could drink, we couldn't. Therefore, you couldn't cheat on him." Jungkook pointed out. "So, did you sleep with someone while drunk?"

"That isn't the point, Kook, I didn't care who I slept with." Said Jeongguk. "I didn't have a guilty conscience, I didn't worry about cheating. As long as I had a condom on me, I was fucking somebody." He added, not getting the big deal. "Taken drunk me and single drunk me are two different people."

Jungkook just shook his head, huffing out. "Whatever, Gguk, just whatever. You do what you've been doing, holding stupid ass grudges even after learning what happened. We weren't him. We don't know what was going through his head, it wasn't us." He told him, shaking his head. "We weren't in his position so we can't say anything about it, we can just believe he's actually sorry."

Jeongguk didn't say anything, turning his gaze out his passenger window. He was annoyed but decided against speaking out about his said annoyance. He just ignored his brother, keeping his arms tightly over his chest.

The younger twin appreciated the silence he created, sighing in relief as the quietness surrounded them.

It wasn't awkward but enough to put them both into their thoughts about the entire situation.

While Jeongguk still believed he was nothing but right, Jungkook really tried his hardest to see it in both point of views.

Jeongguk had many valid points. Something such as cheating can be solved and talked about, no one needs to run away. But then looking at Jeongguk and seeing what his character is about, Jungkook couldndefinitely see why someone would be so afraid to work out a huge issue such as cheating.

Not many of the readers quite get it, but to Taehyung, he ruined everything. Not only did he cheat on his boyfriends but he also had cheated on Jimin. He preached day and night there was nothing to ever worry about him between Leehyun and himself and they did the worst thing they would have done.

To Taehyung, this was severe. He wouldn't be able to just talk about it. He went against his morals, he slept with someone he promised he would never sleep with.

It really hurt him. Jimin was his closest friend; he told him everything and yet he slept with his boyfriend. With Jimin's boyfriend. The two were in love when Taehyung and Leehyun slept together.

Taehyung wasn't sure if it were a good thing or not but Leehyun had the balls to own up to what he did but he never told Jimin who it was with.

After Jimin found out, they broke up right then and there. That was it for them. Taehyung couldn't do it. If it were going to be the end of him and the Jeon Twins, he rather never say goodbye to them and just leave like it was nothing.

It felt like the better option to Taehyung and he was running on nerves and paranoia. It was all last minute deciding to just up and leave. He left not too much later after he committed the deed. He was so petrified and he wouldn't be able to last looking at Jeongguk, Jungkook, and most certainly not Jimin. Taehyung couldn't do it.

"You're still a dumb ass." Jeongguk insulted not even five minutes later, filling the silence.

Jungkook rolled his eyes, letting out a dragged breath of exhaustion. This was going to be a painfully long ride home.

Key's Note:

Hopefully this chapter made it more clear why Taehyung decided to run away. I'm happy with the outcome and I'm glad I wrote it the way it was written. I didn't want Taehyung having some underlying disease or some terminal illness. I didn't want him to be forced to run away because of someone's parents, I wanted him to mess up. I'm glad with how I did it :)

1. Who's side are you on more? Jungkook's or Jeongguk's?
2. Ready for when Jimin finds out?
