Annie was woken by knocking on her balcony door, she rolled over to see Billy standing on the balcony with a broken expression. The covers were thrown off instantly before she rushed to the door and unlocked it, sliding it open allowing Billy to step in. "What's happened? Are you okay?" Annie asked softly as she placed her hands on his face. "She left... she's gone," Billy whispered before stepping back and punching the wall. "MY MOM LEFT ME! BECAUSE THAT BASTARD COULDN'T KEEP IT IN HIS PANTS!! SHE'S GONE!!" Billy screamed as he gripped his hair before dropping to his knees.

"Baby..." Annie whispered as she dropped to her knees in front of him, she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him into her. "I'm here... I'm not going anywhere, Billy. I'll never leave you. Never again," Annie promised him as he finally broke down, tears streaming from his eyes as he held Annie close to him. "Please... don't leave me... don't ever leave me," Billy begged through broken sobs, the sound broke Annie's heart. "I won't, Billy. I won't," Annie whispered as she kissed the side of his head, holding him tight until he had cried all of his tears away.

After some time, Annie had managed to coach Billy to lay on the bed and she offered to call Stu or Sidney but he refused claiming he just wanted her. Annie laid next to Billy allowing him to gather his thoughts and calm down completely. "Why would she leave me?" Billy's voice was raspy from the after effect of tears and the sound pulled at Annie's heart. "I wish I had the answers, B. I really wish I did," Annie whispered to him, she rolled over to look at the dishevelled boy before reaching out to caress his face. Billy leaned into her hand, "Can we go watch the stars?" Annie nodded her head before grabbing his hand and leading him to the roof to stargaze together.

Billy pulled Annie into his side as they laid on their backs, she rolled to her side to be more comfortable as he held her close. Both of them were in silence as they watched the stars in the sky, Billy taking steady breaths as Annie continued to run her fingers up and down his chest in a soothing manner. It wasn't long till Billy began to fall asleep, Annie looked up at him and brushed her fingers through his hair with a soft smile resting on her face. "Let's head inside, Billy," Annie whispered to the tired boy, he nodded his head before allowing Annie to lead him back into her room; she closed the sliding door before pulling back the covers.

Billy watched as Annie prepared the bed for them, his aching heart was eased seeing the way she cared for him. He walked over and wrapped his arms around her, resting his head in the crook of her neck. "Thank you," Billy whispered to her, Annie leaning back into his arms. "You don't need to thank me, Billy. I'm always going to be here for you," Annie promised as she turned around to look him in the eyes, the pure adoration in her blue eyes made Billy practically melt. The two best friends climbed into the bed, Billy holding Annie as he let sleep overcome him, no nightmares with her by his side.

It wasn't long till the group of friends learned about Billy's mom leaving his dad, but no one knew the reason she left except for Billy and Annie. But Sidney had noticed how close Billy had gotten to Annie, the two were always around each other, sitting together or Billy was always allowing Annie to lean against him. She knew she was feeling jealous about Billy's affection towards Annie but she also knew about Annie's past connection to both boys and the fear they had thinking that she had died or forgotten about them. Stu was single, so he could be as physical as he wished but Sidney was uncertain about Billy's intent.

"Hey, Annie," Sidney called out to the onyx haired girl as they walked into Stu's home, she turned to her with a raised brow. "Yeah, Sid? What's up?" Annie asked with a sweet smile on her face. "Can we talk for a second?" Sidney asked as Billy and Stu began teasing Randy about the movie choice done by Tatum who was tired of the horror movies. "Sure," Annie told her before turning to the group, "We'll be back in a moment." Randy went to scold them for the words but Annie simply blew him a kiss that Stu stole and "stored" in his pocket making Annie laugh, a sight that warmed Stu and Billy's hearts.

Sidney and Annie stepped outside, the brunette sighed before deciding to just rip off the bandaid, "I'm sure you have no bad intentions but I don't like how you and Billy hang off of each other." Annie's eyes widened at Sidney's words, she knew that she and Billy were used to this behaviour because it was normal when they were younger but Sidney was his girlfriend, she had a right to be cautious. "Billy is going through a lot right now, Sidney. He needs the support from everyone. And I would never and I mean never allow Billy to cheat on you," Annie's words were a promise that Sidney was warmed by, she nodded her head.

"We've been like this since we were kids, Sidney. And I promise that it'll never go further than friendship... besides, I, uh... kind of have my eyes on Stu," Annie anxiously told Sidney who immediately grinned at her words. "Then go for it! I mean, we both know that Casey is hardly an ex after what she did. If you like him, make your move," Sidney encouraged, Annie nodded at her words with a shaky breath before standing tall. "You're right," Annie told her before the two made their way back inside, Tatum's eyes watched the two.

"Everything okay?" Tatum asked them, the girls shared a look before Sidney nodded with an encouraging smile. "Stu... can we talk?" Annie asked with a smile, Stu nodded his head immediately, shoving Randy to the floor as he made his way towards her. "We can talk in my room," Stu told her as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, leading her towards the stairs. Billy watched the two with interest, his eyes following his best friends until they disappeared upstairs. "Are you okay?" Sidney asked him as she sat next to Billy. "Huh, yeah... just wondering what they're talking about," Billy answered her.

"I don't think they'll do much talking," Sidney teased making Tatum grin, "She making her move?" Sidney nodded before Randy spoke, "Thought you'd be jealous after the night you spent with her." Tatum shook her head, "That was a hook up, Randall... An absolute heavenly night but a single night at that." Randy rolled his eyes at the name before he began picturing the night which Billy noticed. "Dipshit!" Billy scolded as he slapped the back of Randy's head, "Stop trying to picture it." Tatum laughed as she leaned close to Randy, "No image will be the real thing." She winked before moving to get snacks.

Annie stepped into Stu's room with an anxious breath, she couldn't believe that Billy and Stu were the only two people that could make her nervous. "What's going on, Anniebell?" Stu asked as he stepped closer to Annie, his signature smirk on his face. "Stu Macher, you've been an important person in my life since we were kids and well... oh my God... why do you make me feel so nervous?" Annie turned away from Stu who was grinning as he caught on to what Annie was doing, she always had speeches planned to delay the potential rejection and to ease it. "Anniebell~" Stu sung out before stepping closer to her.

"Will you be mine?" Annie rushed out as turned to look up at Stu, the boy's teasing grin was gone showing a soft smile that was rare to see on Stuart Macher's face. "I already am," Stu replied before he pulled Annie closer and kissed her, the girl was quick to respond by wrapping her arms around his shoulders. Stu's mind was reeling knowing they were together, he could hold her, kiss her, spoil her, and give her anything and everything she desired without it seeming like a step over a boundary line. He was hers completely and while it isn't the complete version of their love, it was two of the three pieces in place.

When Annie and Stu made their way downstairs, it was obvious that they were officially a couple by the way Stu's hands barely left her. When Stu sat down next to Billy, he pulled Annie onto his lap and made a small show of kissing her in front of the others who immediately cheered for the new couple in the group. Annie rolled her eyes with a laugh before settling down in her boyfriend's arms to watch the romantic comedy that Tatum had chosen to escape the horror movies for the night. Billy was happy for his best friends, he smiled at Stu who seemed happier than he did before which left Billy feeling good.
