This Taekook story has captured my soul from the beginning. As mentioned by the author, this was inspired from the movie "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" and of course she had personalized and added her own touch to it. Wonderful job on portraying each and everyone's character. We can also look forward to other sideships. The plot and storyline itself was also brilliant. It was very pleasant and warm to read. She had a way with her words that makes everything interesting and fun to read. The quotes and poetry that where used were very meaningful and profound. As this book is about love and war, I got emotional to some scenes and flashbacks of one's character. How Taekook became in this story was the most precious and the softest. Their moments are so adorable.
The countless times I had butterflies and heart eyes from the sweetest and cutest gestures. I loved the fact that amidst the war, they found love and happiness with each other.
There will be slight angst but I thought that was great for what's to happen. The last chapter of the book was the cutest and I was really happy how everything turned out...perfect.
This book is so underrated. I hope after this review, people would take notice, for it is quite extraordinary and a masterpiece.
