Jade sat comfortably on the floor of her cozy apartment, leaning against her couch with her phone propped up on a small stand. A warm glow from a floor lamp bathed the room in soft light, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. She smiled as the familiar sound of comments flooding in greeted her as soon as the live started. Blinks were already filling up the chat with excitement.
"Hi, everyone!" Jade waved enthusiastically at the camera, her face lighting up with genuine excitement as she saw the viewer count climb rapidly. "How are you all doing? It's been a while since I've gone live, so I thought we could just hang out for a bit."
She read some of the comments out loud, chuckling at the love and playful jokes being sent her way.
"'Jade, we missed you!' I missed you too, Blinks!" she said, her voice warm and sincere. "I've been so busy lately with filming and rehearsals, but I always think about you guys. You all mean the world to me."
The chat filled with hearts, and Jade grinned at the overwhelming support. "So... what do you all want to talk about tonight? I've got some tea I could spill—about my upcoming projects—but I'll let you ask first." She winked, knowing how much her fans loved a good tease.
One of the comments caught her attention, and she tilted her head, reading it aloud. "'What have you been up to, unnie?' Ah, good question! So, right now, I'm preparing for a lot of things—that's a secret, and I've been busy with the drama Law School with Younjung. It's going to air soon, so I'm a little nervous, but I think you'll all love it!"
She paused for a moment, her eyes lighting up as she continued. "Filming was intense! My character is really different from anything I've played before. I had to study all these legal terms... It was a lot, but I think it's going to be worth it. Younjung and I had so much fun on set, even though our characters are always serious."
Jade watched as the chat erupted with excitement, the Blinks eagerly asking more questions about the drama and comeback.
"'Is Jisoo-unnie helping you with acting tips?' Of course!" Jade said, nodding. "Jisoo's been super supportive. She's working on her own drama right now too, and we talk about our projects all the time. I think having her guidance has really helped me feel more confident in my role. She's amazing, as you all know."
The comments exploded with heart emojis and guesses about the comeback concept. Jade laughed, loving how excited her fans were.
As more questions poured in, Jade took a sip of her tea, relaxing a little more into the live.
"'What's your favorite thing about Blinks?'" She smiled softly at the question. "I think my favorite thing about you all is how supportive and loving you are. You've always been there for me, through everything, and I feel so lucky to have a fandom like you. You always encourage me to be my best self, and that's why I work so hard—to make you proud."
Jade's eyes scanned the chat, where fans were leaving sweet messages of encouragement. She reached out to the camera, as if trying to bridge the distance between her and her fans.
"I really hope we can see each other in person soon," she said earnestly. "I miss performing for you all. Being on stage is one of the best parts of what I do, and feeling your energy is something I can't wait to experience again."
The comments section was filled with love and excitement for future concerts, and Jade nodded as she read through them. Then, a playful grin appeared on her face.
"Oh! Before I forget, there's one more thing I wanted to share..." She paused dramatically, watching as the fans filled the chat with anticipation. "I'm thinking of doing a little special project soon. It's not music-related, but I think it'll be fun. I'll give you more details when the time is right, but just know... something's coming!"
Her playful teasing made the Blinks go wild in the chat, and Jade couldn't help but laugh.
Just as Jade was about to respond to another question, there was a sudden knock on her door. She paused mid-sentence, her brows furrowing in confusion.
"Wait a second, Blinks. Who's at my door this late?" Jade looked at the camera with a playful, curious expression. "I wasn't expecting anyone."
She got up from her spot, leaving her phone on the coffee table, and walked to the door. The chat immediately exploded with excitement, speculating who it could be. Jade opened the door and let out a laugh of surprise.
It was Jennie, holding bags of takeout. Jennie grinned and waved at the camera in the distance as she stepped inside.
"Blinks, look who just showed up with food!" Jade announced, walking back to the phone with Jennie following behind.
Jennie sat down next to Jade on the floor, placing the bags in front of them. "Surprise! I brought late-night snacks," she said, pulling out various dishes from the bags. "I figured you were probably hungry after talking to Blinks for so long."
Jade laughed, her mood instantly lifting even more. "You're a lifesaver, unnie. I was just telling Blinks about some of our projects. Perfect timing."
Jennie glanced at the camera, smiling. "Hi, Blinks! How are you all?" The chat went wild as they saw Jennie joining the live, with fans flooding the comments with excitement about their impromptu duo.
"Look at the comments, they're so happy you're here!" Jade said, nudging Jennie playfully.
"Of course they are," Jennie said, teasing. "They love me."
Jade snorted. "They love both of us, don't get too cocky."
Jennie giggled as she opened one of the containers, revealing steaming hot dumplings. "So, what have you been telling them? Any spoilers I should know about?"
Jade pretended to think for a moment, tapping her chin. "Well, I may have hinted just a little."
Jennie gasped dramatically. "Jade! You can't just spoil everything! You know how we like to keep things mysterious."
Jade laughed again, shaking her head. "I only gave them a tiny hint. Plus, I know they'll keep our secrets, right Blinks?" She looked at the camera, and the chat exploded with reassurance from fans saying they'd keep everything under wraps.
Jennie rolled her eyes, though her smile was playful. "You're lucky our fans are so trustworthy."
They both started eating, casually chatting with the fans between bites. Jennie even took a moment to read some comments aloud.
"'Jade-unnie and Jennie-unnie, what's your favorite part of Pretty Savage choreography?' Ooh, good question!" Jennie read with enthusiasm. "My favorite part has to be the chorus. The moves are really powerful but graceful at the same time. What about you, Jade?"
Jade thought for a moment as she chewed on a dumpling. "Definitely the bridge section. It's got a different vibe, and I love how it gives us a chance to connect with the audience in a more intimate way."
They continued answering questions for a while, the fans enjoying the spontaneous interaction between the two members. It felt like a rare, unfiltered glimpse into their lives.
Eventually, Jennie stretched, leaning back against the couch with a satisfied smile. "Okay, Blinks, we've been on here for a while now. What do you think, Jade—should we end it soon?"
Jade sighed dramatically, pouting for the camera. "I don't want to say goodbye yet, but I guess it's getting late."
Jennie nodded. "We'll have more lives soon, though."
Jade smiled warmly at the camera. "Thank you all for hanging out with me—and with Jennie too, even though she just crashed my live with food."
Jennie laughed, waving at the camera. "I'm sure they don't mind."
Jade giggled. "We'll see you all again soon. Stay healthy, stay happy, and keep an eye out for our new music and projects! We love you, Blinks!"
With a final wave, both Jade and Jennie leaned in to end the live, leaving the fans with a sense of warmth and anticipation for what was to come.
