It was one of those rare days when schedules aligned, allowing Jade and her close circle of friends to finally have some time off together. The seven of them had decided to meet at a cozy café tucked away in a quiet corner of Seoul, a spot they'd discovered during their busy filming and performing days. It was one of those places that felt like a little escape from the chaos of the entertainment industry—perfect for a long, relaxed hangout.

Jade was the first to arrive, settling into a booth by the window. She wore an oversized cream-colored sweater with high-waisted jeans, her hair casually tied into a messy bun. She checked her phone, smiling when she saw the excited messages from the group chat. Everyone was just minutes away.

Not long after, the café's door swung open, and Yeri, Red Velvet's playful maknae, walked in. Yeri was always full of energy, her bright personality lighting up any room she entered. She immediately spotted Jade, flashing a wide grin as she made her way over.

"Jade!" Yeri greeted, sliding into the seat beside Jade. "I missed you!"

Jade laughed, giving Yeri a warm hug. "I missed you too, Yeri! How's everything going with your schedules?"

Yeri groaned dramatically, resting her head on Jade's shoulder. "Busy as always, but I'm surviving. I've been looking forward to this all week!"

Before they could continue, the door opened again, and Miyeon, the sweet and elegant member of TWICE, entered the café. She was wearing a flowy summer dress and had a soft, radiant smile as she spotted the two. Miyeon made her way to the table and gave both Jade and Yeri a gentle hug before sitting down across from them.

"Finally, a day to ourselves," Miyeon said, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. "I don't even remember the last time we all hung out like this."

"We're all so busy," Jade agreed, nodding. "But today, no work talk—just good food, drinks, and catching up."

The sound of more voices came from the door as the actresses arrived together—Heejin, Gayoung, Younjung, and Yoojung. The four of them were close friends in the industry, often appearing in dramas together or supporting each other at events. They were a tight-knit group, and when they spotted Jade, Miyeon, and Yeri, their faces lit up with excitement.

"Heejin-ah!" Yeri called out, waving dramatically as the actresses joined their table.

Heejin chuckled as she slid into the booth beside Miyeon. "We're here! Sorry we're late, we got caught in traffic."

"No worries!" Jade smiled, scooting over to make more room for Yoojung and Gayoung. "We're just getting started."

As the group settled in, the café filled with the sound of laughter, conversation, and the occasional playful tease. Yoojung, known for her bubbly and cheerful personality, was already cracking jokes that had everyone giggling, while Gayoung, more reserved but no less warm, smiled as she listened to the lively conversation unfold.

"So, what's the latest drama we're all watching?" Miyeon asked, sipping on her iced coffee. "I need some new recommendations."

"Gayoung's drama, of course!" Yeri said with a mischievous grin, nudging Gayoung with her elbow. "I've been hooked on it. You're so good in it!"

Gayoung blushed slightly, waving off the compliment. "Stop teasing, Yeri! But thank you. I'm just happy it's doing well."

Heejin leaned forward, a curious glint in her eyes. "Speaking of dramas, has anyone thought about doing a collaboration? Maybe an idol and actress team-up?"

"That would be fun," Gayoung said, chuckles. "Imagine us all trying to film serious scenes while Yoojung and Yeri are cracking jokes the whole time."

"I would be professional!" Yoojung protested, though her grin gave her away.

The conversation flowed easily, shifting from lighthearted topics to deeper discussions about their lives, their dreams, and the challenges they faced in the industry. Despite their different paths—some as idols, others as actresses, some as both—they all shared a common bond of navigating fame and the pressures that came with it.

At one point, Yeri brought up a funny story from a recent Red Velvet performance, sending the whole table into fits of laughter. "And then," she continued, barely able to get the words out between giggles, "I tripped over my own feet during the dance break! It was so embarrassing, but at least the fans thought it was cute."

"I can't imagine you tripping, Yeri," Miyeon teased. "You're always so confident on stage."

Yeri rolled her eyes dramatically. "Trust me, unnie, I trip more than you think."

As the afternoon wore on, the café staff brought over desserts—a selection of cakes, pastries, and drinks that the group had ordered. Yoojung's eyes lit up when the chocolate cake arrived, and she immediately grabbed her fork, ready to dig in.

"This looks amazing," she said, taking a bite and letting out a satisfied hum. "I needed this today."

Jade smiled, looking around the table at her friends. It wasn't often that they could all gather like this, without the pressure of cameras or the demands of their careers. Today, they were just themselves—Jade, Yeri, Miyeon, Heejin, Gayoung, Younjung, and Yoojung—enjoying a simple day together.

Jade leaned back in her seat, feeling a sense of contentment wash over her. "I'm so glad we could do this."

Miyeon nodded in agreement, a warm smile on her face. "Me too. Let's make sure we do this more often."

The rest of the group echoed the sentiment, and for the rest of the afternoon, they continued to laugh, talk, and enjoy each other's company. In that cozy little café, away from the limelight and the chaos of their public lives, they were just a group of friends making memories—ones that they knew they would cherish for a long time.

As the group continued to enjoy their desserts, the conversation naturally shifted toward their upcoming projects and schedules, the reality of their busy lives coming back into focus. They had spent a few blissful hours catching up, but now the buzz of their work crept in, especially since each of them had exciting things on the horizon.

"So, Yeri," Miyeon began, leaning in with a smile, "I heard you're finally making your acting debut! What's the role like?"

Yeri's eyes lit up with a mixture of excitement and nerves. "Yeah! It's still so surreal to me. I'm playing this high school student in a web drama. It's totally different from what I'm used to, but I've always wanted to try acting, so I'm super excited—and a little terrified."

"Don't be terrified," Gayoung chimed in, offering a reassuring smile. "We've all been there. Once you're on set and get into character, it feels like you're in a completely different world. And honestly, I think you'll be great. You've got that spark that draws people in."

Yeri beamed at the compliment, her face flushing slightly. "Thanks, unnie. I just hope I don't trip over my lines like I do on stage."

The table burst into laughter, and Miyeon added, "Even if you do, you'll make it look cute—like you always do."

As the laughter died down, Miyeon glanced at her phone and sighed. "Speaking of schedules, TWICE is having a comeback soon, and it's been non-stop rehearsals. I'm so excited for the new concept, though. It's a little more mature than our last few comebacks, and I think the fans are going to love it."

Jade leaned forward, curious. "What's the vibe this time? Can you give us any hints?"

Miyeon winked playfully. "Let's just say it's a mix of elegance and intensity. There's a lot of intricate choreography, but we're all pushing ourselves to make it something special. You'll see soon enough!"

The group murmured in excitement, with Younjung adding, "You guys always kill it, so I'm sure it'll be amazing. I can't wait."

Gayoung, who had been quietly sipping her coffee, finally spoke up about her own project. "True Beauty is currently airing, and it's been a whirlwind," she said with a smile. " It's different than what I'm used to, but I've really enjoyed digging into such  a character."

"It's amazing," Heejin said, her voice filled with admiration. "Your performance is so layered. Every episode, I feel like I'm in your shoes suffering from low self-esteem.."

Gayoung blushed slightly, nodding in appreciation. "Thank you. That means a lot coming from you. I just hope the viewers are enjoying it as much as we are."

Jade leaned back in her seat, soaking in the excitement from her friends, but she couldn't help but glance at Heejin. "Speaking of projects, how's it going with Jisoo? You're both working on something together, right?"

Heejin's eyes sparkled as she nodded. "Yes! Jisoo and I are collaborating on a new historical drama. It's been so fun working with her—she's incredibly talented and dedicated. The dynamic between our characters is really fun, though, so we've had a lot of emotional scenes."

Jade grinned. "I knew she was excited about it, but hearing how well it's going makes me even more proud of her. I'm looking forward to seeing you both in action."

"Jisoo-unnie's going to be amazing," Yoojung added. "I can't wait to watch that one."

Yoojung's comment reminded everyone of her own project, and Jade quickly turned to her. "And what about you, Yoojung? You're starting a new drama soon too, right?"

Yoojung nodded enthusiastically. "Yep! Filming starts next week, and I'm so nervous! It's my first leading role in a big production, and the pressure is definitely on. I play a lawyer in a legal thriller—there's a lot of courtroom drama, and it's going to be intense."

Younjung, who had been quietly listening, smiled at Yoojung's nerves. "You'll be fine. Besides, we've got our own legal drama to worry about, don't we?"

Jade laughed as the conversation shifted to her and Younjung's highly anticipated joint drama, *Law School*, which was set to air soon. The series had generated a lot of buzz since it was announced that the two would be co-starring as law students trying to navigate the complicated world of justice while uncovering a dangerous conspiracy.

"*Law School* is coming out soon, and I can't believe it's almost here," Jade said with a mix of excitement and nervousness. "Younjung and I have been working on it for months, and the storyline is just... intense. Our characters are best friends of course but we barely have scenes together."

"Everyone's so excited to see you two together on screen," Miyeon said, smiling at the duo. "The fans have been talking about it non-stop. Plus, legal dramas always do well."

Younjung nodded. "Yeah, it's been intense, but also really rewarding. The courtroom scenes were especially challenging, but Jade and I got into a rhythm, and by the end, it felt like we were really living in those characters."

Yoojung looked between the two of them, a spark of excitement in her eyes. "I'm dying to see it! You two make such a great team. It's going to be a hit, I can feel it."

Jade smiled, feeling the warmth and encouragement from her friends wash over her. "Let's hope so. We've all got so much going on, but it's nice to know we're all cheering each other on."

The conversation continued, each of them sharing more details about their schedules, from promotional activities to rehearsals and shoots. Despite the packed days ahead, there was a sense of camaraderie in the air—a shared understanding of the hard work and passion that went into each of their projects. They knew the pressures of being in the public eye, but at moments like this, they were just a group of friends, supporting and lifting each other up.

Yeri suddenly clapped her hands together, her eyes shining with determination. "Okay, once all our projects are out, we have to promise to meet up again and binge-watch everything together."

"Deal," Jade said, laughing. "We'll make a day of it."

And with that, the group made a pact to continue supporting each other, no matter how busy their lives became. For now, though, they were content to enjoy each other's company, savoring the calm before their respective storms.
