"Beomgyu dear, is Soobin with you?" Soobin's mom asks Beomgyu, who was walking home with two cups of Icecream in his hands.

"Oh yes Aunt! Don't worry Hyung is at my house." Beomgyu replies smiling.
Soobin's mom sighs in relief. If she ever needed to find Soobin, she just asked Beomgyu. They were practically attached to the hip.

Yes it was always Soobin and Beomgyu, Beomgyu and Soobin. They were inseparable. Can't find one? Search for the other, you will find both of them.

The two were Bestfriends since forever. As long as Beomgyu remembers, he finds his every moment related to Soobin. The two first met, when Soobin saw a guy named Choi Beomgyu moving in his neighbourhood when he was 5. Since then the two stuck together like Glue. They were like the missing puzzle pieces of each other.

Beomgyu and Soobin bickered non-stop, but absolutely adored each other. The problem started when Beomgyu's feelings changed for the older.
It was just one normal day, when he saw the older smile at him, like he meant the world to him, and then he realised "oh I'm absolutely fucked"

He first realised his crush on Soobin when he was 14. That time they were two teenagers who barely knew about love. And it was the time when most of their friends used to talk about crushes and love. Beomgyu never really thought about it.

For him, being with Soobin and able to make him smile was enough. He didn't really realise that he had a crush on the other. But that one day- his brain calculated all the difficult equations and instead of finding 'X' his brain found an answer that- "Congratulations Bitch you're in love with your very own Bestfriend."

At first it was an absolutely amazing feeling. He felt giddy and escatic everytime Soobin smiled at him, or cuddled with him. He loved the attention Soobin gave him. But it all started to hurt, when Soobin told Beomgyu about his first crush...the popular senior Choi Yeonjun. It broke teenager Beomgyu's heart into pieces.
He smiled and encouraged the other infront of him, but behind the doors, he cried himself to sleep. For sure Crushing on your Bestfriend wasn't a good idea.

Years passed and now they were in College. Soobin was in his last semester. And Beomgyu just a year behind him. By now, Beomgyu had mastered the act of "I'm not bothered" but it still hurts when Soobin talks about someone other than him.

"You know Gyu!! There is an absolutely cute Guy i met while working in the café. He's so beautiful. And he's funny too! I bet you two would get along so well. His name...wait what was it- ahh yeah Huening Kai!" Soobin was ranting about his new crush on the new customer who keeps coming everyday since a week, in the café he works. His eyes were literally shining, and his face had a big smile spread across it.

Beomgyu laughed and teased Soobin, but his heart broken, it was already broken but he doesn't know how his heart breaks everytime Soobin mentions someone. It's just a small crush and it never escalates more than a crush, probably a hook-up for Soobin. But it still hurts him like new every fucking time.

It should be me who makes you smile like that, it should be me who makes your eyes shine, it should be me who's the reason for your Excitement. Why can't it be me? Is it that hard to see me?"

And Beomgyu being the Hopeless romantic he is, thinks that every time Soobin came heartbroken, after breaking-up or finding out that his crush is with someone else, this time he would be the one Soobin falls for. But his silly little Hope gets shattered again and again. By now, he doesn't thinks he has a chance anymore. He will be just a bestfriend for Soobin and nothing more. It will be always that way. Beomgyu is wrong for having these feelings.

"Why don't you date anyone Gyu? You're Literally so perfect!! What thing lacks in you beomie?" Soobin says looking at Beomgyu, teasing him.

"I'm not perfect hyung, and i don't want to date someone i don't like." Beomgyu replied nonchalantly.

"Yes you're perfect, also what do you mean you won't date someone you don't like? Do you like someone Gyu? Ayyy who's that lucky person huh?" Soobin says nudging Beomgyu and teasing him.

"Oh shut up hyung!!! I don't like someone and even if i do it's none of your business!" Beomgyu says whining. Sick of Soobin's antics.

"It is my business gyu!! You're supposed to tell me! I'm your bestfriend."

"Ouch that hurt...well it's YOU, you thick headed dumb bitch. Only if you knew..." Beomgyu thought to himself...and smiled bitterly. It will never be him, who Soobin falls for, and that's a fact at this point.

It was one normal day in Beomgyu's life. He was going home after College alone today, as the elder had a date with the hot guy he met a few days ago... where he doesn't remembers as he wasn't even interested in listening. Sighing he gets into his car and drives to his apartment, Anti-romantic playing in his car speakers. He sang along softly with the music. Atleast with Soobin not here he could let out his feelings a little. Lately it's been way too much hard.

His friend Taehyun keeps telling him to confess to Soobin and get over it. "Your feelings will go away more easily once he rejects you...you should move on now Beomgyu."
But he can't do that. What he has with Soobin is far more important and precious than his feelings. He can't ruin it. That's why he's supressing all this feelings and burying them deep inside some corner of his brain.

He finally reaches home and enters his kitchen for a snack when he sees a note sticked to his fridge...he rips off the note and it's from none other than Soobin. Oh yeah- Soobin came over to Beomgyu's apartment last night, and Left after Beomgyu. It felt like it was more of Soobin and Beomgyu's shared apartment than his own. The boy was practically always here. He even has Soobin's clothes and accessories here.

The note read- "there is food for you in here, heat it up and enjoy! I know I'm the best...also there are some Bear cookies in the cupboard which i bought, because it remineded me of you :) "

A smile crept up on Beomgyu's face. How can he not fall for this guy? He takes care of Beomgyu so well, knows what he likes and does small things which he knows Beomgyu appreciates. The small little things like this makes Beomgyu weak. Well guess his love for Soobin will never end, it only seems to be growing everyday.

He sits down eating the food happily. After eating, he gets back to doing his assignments. College won't let him breathe. That's the sad life of a student. He decides to msg Soobin.

He smiles and closes his phone and starts doing his work.
It was 7:30 PM Now and Beomgyu was feeling tired af. He yawned and stretched his arms, checking the time. He was tired so he ordered some take-out for himself.
He started scrolling his social media, waiting for the delivery to come.
After a few minutes he heared the door bell ring.
"Woah the delivery is so fast today huh?" He got up and walked towards the door to open it, only to get into a bone-crushing hug by none other than his bestfriend Soobin.

Beomgyu was starled for a minute, but then he realised the situation. Soobin was hugging him like his life dependes on it, and he was crying. Huh crying? Why was Soobin crying?
Beomgyu came back to his senses...and closed the door dragging Soobin inside with him. He sat down with Soobin on his bed and wiped his tears with the pads of his fingers. Soobin looked up to Beomgyu with teary eyes and a red nose. Beomgyu would say he looked cute, if it wasn't for the other's situation right now.

"Hey hey what happened Soobin? Why are you crying?" Beomgyu asked with concern in his eyes.
Soobin looked at him, and his tears fell more. He never noticed how loved he was by Beomgyu....and that if anything happens he could come to Beomgyu, who's willing to be his warmth and light. Wait- why is he thinking about these things now?

"T-the date, i-it was shit. The g-guy only agreed to c-come with me to m-make his ex j-jealous." Soobin stuttered inable to form proper sentences because of crying.
This made Beomgyu very angry. How could that guy do this to His Soobin? He didn't deserve it.

"What?! How can he do that! That asshole....you deserve so much better Soobinie!! Heck- i would treat you 100 times better than all these bastards who broke your heart if I was your Boyfriend." Beomgyu spat in anger. He didn't realise what he had said in the moment.

Hearing Beomgyu made Soobin blush. "If i was your boyfriend" what does Beomgyu means by that. And looking at Beomgyu cursing the guy and his lips pouting in anger like he always does, just seems so endearing to him. Why is he suddenly thinking about all these things related to Beomgyu? He is his bestfriend!
He needs to stop thinking about it, but all the times Beomgyu was there for him, when Beomgyu cared for him, and did all those silly things are suddenly coming like a memory-flashback to him.

"I hope he chokes on his salad. That asshole how dare he hurt you.... wait- soobin? Why are you looking at me like that? Is everything fine?" Beomgyu stopped cursing the guy, and looked at Soobin confused. Why was Soobin giving him that weird look?

He leaned towards him and held his hands.
"Hey? What are you thinking?" Beomgyu asked looking into Soobin's glistening eyes.
Suddenly Soobin put a hand on Beomgyu's cheeks and caressed it gently muttering "about YOU"

"H-huh...Soobin w-what are you saying-" Beomgyu's cheeks flushed pink, and his heart started beating erraticly. Soobin was so close to his face, and their eyes were staring into one another. Beomgyu would lose his control if Soobin keeps looking at him like that. He will do what he fears the most and ruin everything. He needs to get away, but his body isn't moving.

"I just realised how beautiful you are and how lucky i am to have you. Now maybe i know, why i never get into a proper relationship." Soobin said with a low voice, his one hand holding Beomgyu's and one hand on his cheeks.

Beomgyu was going crazy...why was Soobin suddenly saying these things? Did he mean it? Or was it just in the moment? He can't hurt himself like this. He should stop.

"Soobin you don't mean them, you're just saying these in the heat of the moment." Beomgyu said, trying to get away from Soobin's grip, but failed to do so. Soobin only pulled him close. Now he could feel Soobin's breathing on his face.

"No Beomgyu, i always loved you, i was just a coward and thought to ignore the feeling i felt when I'm with you. All those crushes never lasted long, do you know the reason why?" Soobin said giving Beomgyu the same look, which was driving him crazy.

"W-why?" He stuttered, not able to find any words...is Soobin serious?

"Because, everytime i saw some memes or posts related to crushes or love...your face appeared in my mind. I thought maybe because you are my bestfriend and I trust you the most, or maybe because you are with me since childhood. So i deluded myself to think that others were handsome and i like them. But in reality, it was YOU who had my heart. You play with my heart-strings like they are your toys." Soobin poured his heart infront of Beomgyu, spilling all the secrets he kept for so long.

"Soobin y-" Beomgyu was sure he was crying now, this can't be real- Soobin loves him?

"Shh let me speak Beomie, if i don't tell you now, maybe i never will. I'm so inlove with you and I'm just accepting it right now. How stupid I am right? You're so perfect Beomgyu. Your face, it's perfection. Your beautiful eyes, it shines so bright when you laugh i feel myself drowning. Your eyelashes fluttering makes my heart flutter too. I'm so whipped and screwed for you Beom, i don't know what to do anymore. I don't even know if you like me, it's oka-"

Soobin started rambling but Beomgyu shut him up by smashing his Lips on Soobin's soft ones. Soobin was shocked at first, but soon he kissed him back with the same passion. His hands reached to cup Beomgyu's face better and his other hand on his neck. Beomgyu's hands tangled in Soobin's hair and one hand gripping his t-shirt. Tears were flowing down Beomgyu's cheeks, but he smiled into the kiss. He always imagined kissing Soobin, but he never knew it will feel this good. Soobin felt like he was floating, his mind instantly relaxed with Beomgyu's touch. He felt butterflies flying all around in his stomach. All he could see and feel was Beomgyu.
None of them wanted to get away from each other, but they had to for breathing.

Beomgyu was crying by now, hitting Soobin.
"You dumbass how dare you confess like that, when i have been pining over you for years! Do you know how much I love you? God you make me go crazy and do things which i would never do for anyone else. All these years i thought i had no chance. You were so blind i swear. And now you say- you're not lying right? Is this a dream? If it is i don't wanna wake up, it feels so real."

Beomgyu said crying and Soobin held him close, both of them crying now. Oh how silly they both were. Idiots in love for sure. They were in the hugging postion for some minutes, then both of them looked at each other and bursted out laughing.

"Bitch all along you liked me? But why did you never confessed? We could have dated way earlier!" Soobin said smiling at Beomgyu.

"Tch, like i had the courage! You kept talking about those stupid crushes of yours!! How was i supposed to know you liked me? You could have done it too!" Beomgyu said rolling his eyes.

"Okay nevermind, we both were dumb and idiots, but thankgod i finally realised how stupid i was! It was you, You're the one that i want."

"Literally!! I was here all along, and your dumbass was searching for love all over places, when i was right here."

Beomgyu said scoffing, and Soobin just smiled and hugged the younger from behind, nuzzling his nose into his neck. Beomgyu squealed at the sudden contact, and soon Soobin started tickling him, and both of them erupted into a fit of laughter and giggles.
It was Soobin and Beomgyu now. Just how they were always supposed to be. Inseparable and together.
