Summer Evenings

Summer evenings, people usually tend to love summer evenings because of many reasons. Tired people come home from working hard the whole day, being burnt in the summer heat and relax. Kids play outside in the sunset, enjoying a scoop of their favorite ice-cream and young-adults usually take a walk in the park or enjoy the cold breeze along with the sunset. Summer evenings are for relaxing and enjoying with your loved ones, or binge-watch your favorite series. Well that's what Huening Kai usually does.

Kai was returning to the dorms after a tiring day of photoshoot and work, with a smile on his face. Why is he smiling you ask? Oh nothing special, or maybe it is special...the reason of his smile is his boyfriend and groupmate who's probably waiting for him at the dorm already. Soobin got off work before him today, and Soobin always waits for his Hueningie.

Kai sighed as he finally reached the door of the dorm, knocking on Soobin's room door.

[Kai POV]

I can't wait to watch a good anime and enjoy some Ice-cream while cuddling with him.

After waiting for a minute, he opened the door and my lips curved up into a smile upon seeing him.

"Hii hyungie!" I said and ruffled his hair. He made an annoyed face but I just laughed and entered the house. Can't hug him as I'm all sweaty and I wouldn't want to make Soobin disgusted haha. What if he breaks-up with me? Just kidding, I bet he won't, after all I'm such an amazing boyfriend.

"Wait for me oki? Lemme take a shower first!! I wanna cuddle with youuuuuu." I sing-songed and picked up my clothes walking inside the bathroom. I was happy, but I failed to notice that he wasn't.

After I was done showering, I come out of the bathroom, wearing my usual summer attire which is a t-shirt and shorts ofcourse. I walked towards him, to see he's sitting on the couch scrolling on his phone. Why won't he look at me? I guess it's time to annoy him!!

I walked upto him and snatched his phone away, making him look at me with a done face. 

"Hyuka, gimme my phone." He tried to threaten me. 

"NOOO GIMME ATTENTION!" I pouted and sat beside him, laying my head on his shoulder. 

"Leave me alone Ningning, it's hot." He said in a pissed off mood. 

"What is up with him today?" I thought.

"Hyungie are you alright? Did something happen?" I asked him, cupping his cheeks. 

"N-nothing..I-Im fine!!"  He whisper-yelled and turned his face away from me. It got me worried.

"Okay, as you say...but let's watch the anime!! You promised me Hyunggg!!" I whined, ignoring the weird behavior I just witnessed right now. 

"Okay okay, let's watch it."  He said and I hugged him, kissing his cheeks and walked towards my room to bring my laptop. I yet again failed to notice his sad eyes. I came back with the laptop in my hands and sat beside him, pressing the play button and started watching the anime.

1st episode was already finished when I noticed something odd. Soobin was not focusing on the anime at all and the most strange thing, he wasn't even cuddling with me or touching me...which is extremely odd. Then I finally put the pieces together and come to the conclusion that Soobin isn't in a good mood. 

I took the laptop away from my lap and shut it off, making him finally look at me. 

"Why did you turn it off?"  He ask confused. 

"You weren't watching it anyways." I replied and look back at him to see his eyes were red.

"Wait!! you were crying? And I just notice it now?" I yelled, holding his face in my hands. 

"N-No I wasn't..." 

"Don't lie to me hyung, I know something's wrong. Tell me, what happened?" I asked while looking at him, and suddenly tears start welling up in his eyes again. 

I panicked and look at him saying "Hey, hey...Don't cry hyung, what's wrong?" I asked, holding his hands and stroking his hair. 

"i-i...I'm, I don't know...I w-was scrolling on twitter t-today and everyone s-said..I'm so ashamed of myself...I never d-do anything correctly. I'm not a good l-leader and a g-good boyf-"

Before he could speak anything further, I smashed my lips on his making him shut up. How could he ever think that about himself? He widened his eyes in shock but soon recovered from it and started kissing back. I put my hands on his slim waist and pulled him on my lap, holding him close and kissing him passionately.

He wrapped his arms around my neck and I wiped his tears with my fingers, caressing his cheeks. He sighed in the kiss and I took that chance to bite his lips, which resulted in him moaning and I entered my tongue inside. Everything started to get hot after that...my hands roaming on his bare waist and his on my hair tugging it with all the noises and sounds.

I pushed him down on the couch to get easier access and wipe all the remaining tears in the process too. We separated to catch our breathes and I Iooked down at him, his beautiful face blushing red, and lips swollen and shiny from the heated makeout. 

"Don't ever say your'e a bad boyfriend or a bad leader!! You're the best boyfriend one could ever had and we are lucky to have you as our leader Soobin hyung. Real moas love you, and they're defending you against the haters too aren't they?" I said while removing the stray strand of hair covering his face. 

"But Kai-" 

"Shhhh, we don't talk about that shit right now. We should rest as the filmings and practice finally ended. You worked so hard for it Baby." I said and put my fingers on his lips flashing a cheeky smile. 

He sighed and nodded, pushing me off and stood away being shy. 

"Heyyy!! I wasn't done yet! Come back!" I said jokingly.

"Shut up Kai!! You damn pervert Jerk!!" He yelled smacking my shoulders.

"Your Jerk." I mumbled and wink at him, which made him blush.

"God this guy!!" He groaned and I started laughing, making him laugh along with me.

"Wanna eat some Ice-cream and continue watching the anime? It's evening after all....you know I love Summer Evenings." I said clinging to him.

"Okay! I want Vanilla." He said and smiled. Finally.

"Okay Sir!" I said and pecked his lips, going out to buy Ice-cream. And that's how we enjoyed the rest of the evening, cuddling and eating ice-cream together, no more sadness and self-doubts anymore.
