Sacrifice (Eat me up)

The night was dark, silence filling the empty hall-room. The only thing illuminating the dance room was that one light bulb which glowed in the pitch black darkness.
It was past 2pm now, and Taehyun was still in the dance hall, practising for his upcoming state-level competition. He was drenched in sweat by now and his limbs were begging him to stop, but he could care less about that.

"I didn't come this far to stop." He reminded himself and continued to dance despite the feeling of tiredness filling his mind. He stopped the music, to take a few breaths when he heard thunder outside.

"It's Raining?" He thought to himself when suddenly he heard a knock on the door.

"Huh? Who might be here at this time?" Taehyun mumbled to himself as he turned towards the door to open it. That was the biggest mistake he ever made in his whole life.

"W-who are y-you?" He stumbled backward in fear as the person In front of him approached him.

A tall figure, drenched from the rain and blood dripping from their chin, stood In front of him as their eyes were glowing red.
Taehyun felt like he was entranced, frozen in place under the sharp gaze. His body refused to move. It was like he lost his senses and ability to control his own muscles.

Taehyun's brain was screaming at him to run, scream, yell, do anything but stand quietly. But it was like he had no control over his body or mind.

The figure walked closer to him, and finally Taehyun got out of the trance and backed off, his back hitting the mirror of the dance practice hall.
"W-what are y-yo" Before Taehyun could say anything...the figure slammed their hands on the mirror, as it broke with a shatter.

Taehyun's heart was thumping loudly inside his chest as the person stared at his neck, a smirk plastered on their face. Taehyun was shaking in fear by now, not knowing what would happen to him now.

It was clear that the figure In front of him was a male and not a normal male, it was a Vampire blinded with bloodlust.

"Let me live forever in you." The guy mumbled.

"W-what-" Taehyun stammered in fear and finally took a look at his face. Shock washed over him, when he realised who the Vampire was.

"H-hyuka? You're a V-vampire?" Taehyun felt as if the air was knocked out from his lungs. His dance partner, his best friend was a Vampire?

How is that possible? Vampires aren't supposed to exist!

"Kai stop! It's me Taehyun!! Your best friend! Come back to your senses!!" He shook the boy in front of him, trying to bring him back to sense, but it seemed like reality had slipped away from his mind ages ago.

Taehyun was caged by his arms to the wall, with no way to escape, as he stared at him like a predator stares at its prey. This whole ordeal was unreal. Was this one of his weird dreams?

Taehyun was about to think "yeah this is a dream" but he snapped out of that thought when he felt his best friend caressing his neck with a wild look on his face.

Taehyun realised the situation and what was happening.
"Kai stop it!" Taehyun yelled and closed his eyes, afraid to open them.

"Taehyun? W-what am I..no, I'm-"
He heard a shaky voice as he felt the hands caging him move away. He finally opened his eyes to see Kai's eyes were back to his normal warm brown ones. It wasn't red anymore. But something was consistent. It was his baby fangs, which he never had before.

"Kai! What happened to you! How are you a Vampire?" Taehyun asked him, as he seemed lost in his thoughts.

"I got attacked..and now I'm having a fight between me and my evil monster self to not become a crazy blood sucking monster." He said with a shaky voice.

"Huh? You got attacked?"

"Y-yes, a berserk crazy Vampire bit me, and now I'm turning into a Vampire too. If I don't resist this blood lust, I'll become like them too. I- I don't w-wanna become a m-monster Taehyun." Kai said with tears in his eyes, as his eyes flickered from red to brown, he seemed to be in a lot of pain.

"Suck his blood, you need blood. You need food." That's what his mind was telling him, but he was trying to resist it.

"SHUT UP!! HE'S MY FRIEND!" He yelled out, startling Taehyun.

"Hyuka?" Taehyun asked him, worried.

"Don't come near! Your s-scent.. i-it's tempting!" Kai says with a low growl, trying to stay normal.

"Hyuka, are you okay? Can I help you?" Taehyun asked worriedly. Yes he knew he might kill him and suck his blood right now, but the feelings he had for the younger were stronger. It hurt to see Huening Kai in pain, constantly fighting to stay sane. He didn't deserve that.

"I feel hungry, goddamn this bloodlust! I think I might die if I don't drink some." Kai mumbled leaning on the wall helplessly.

A very risky idea came inside Taehyun's mind. It might end his life, but he was too fixed in this shit to think that.

"You can drink my blood." Taehyun said it like it was a simple thing.

"W-what? Drink your blood? Really?" Kai asked springing up immediately, as his eyes started glowing red again.

"Yes, but don't kill me." Taehyun said calmly, but he were dying from inside. Anxiety and nervousness filling him to the brim.

"Yes yes! I'll drink only a little! Thank You Taehyunnie!" He said happily like a kid.

"Okay." Taehyun said with a nod.

"Uhm can you open your shirt a little?" Kai asked you shyly, and his words made Taehyun blush madly.

"A-ah sure y-yeah." Taehyun's fingers trembled as he opened a few front buttons of his shirt, revealing his neck to the now Vampire.

He noticed how his eyes were glowing in excitement. Taehyun closed his eyes, ready to feel any sort of pain.

Kai moved closer to him, and Taehyun's heart was beating fast, as his nerves were shaking from the nervousness. Why did he even agree to do this?

He expected some pain, but he felt a gentle kiss on his neck instead.
"Why is he kissing my neck!!" Taehyun thought to himself, he already had a crush on Kai since ages and this wasn't helping at all.

He kept his mouth shut to not let out any noises, as he felt the Vampire bite his neck, which made him gasp in surprise. It wasn't painful at all.

"You taste so sweet Taehyun." He heard Kai say, as he started sucking his blood slowly, which made shivers run down his spine. What was this feeling? Why did it feel good instead of pain?

"Suck more, drink more, this is the chance!!" Kai's monster side told him crazy things, but he moved away from Taehyun after a minute, not wanting to hurt him. He licked the bitten spot, cleaning every drop of blood which made Taehyun shudder, but he kept his mouth shut to not embarrass himself.

"Thankyou Taehyun. Did it hurt?" Kai asked him, smiling innocently, like his actions didn't make him almost have a heart-attack.

"No it didn't. Are you alright now?" Taehyun asked him, still blushing from the things which happened.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I think I can win over this evil side." He said smiling and hugged Taehyun.

"Thankyou Taehyunnie! It's all because of you!" Kai said smiling.

"So are you a Vampire now?" Taehyun asked him.

"Yeah! I'm basically a Vampire now, but not a bloodthirsty one. I won over that evil side after all." He replied smiling.

"Your blood, it's so sweet though. I can't believe you let me drink it." Kai said shyly.

A blush crept up Taehyun's face too, as he heard him saying that his blood was sweet. Why was he blushing over this?

"You can drink my blood when you have blood lust." Taehyun said, looking away. The feeling was quite nice, and he definitely wanted it to happen again.

"Wait really? You would let me? Why Taehyun?" Kai asked him, completely surprised.

"Yeah. I would, I like you after all." Those words slipped out of Taehyun's mouth unconsciously, and his eyes widened in surprise when he realised what he said.

"W-well I-i m-mean, nevermind there's no going back now.." he said trying to hide his embarrassment.

Taehyun looked at him to see a neutral face, which got him more worried.

"Kai?"

"Me too."

"H-huh?"

"I like you too, since a long time already."

His words hit him like a truck. Kai liked him? For a long time?

"Wait! Really?" Taehyun asked, still in Disbelief.

"Yeah.. really." He answered with a chuckle.

"So, umm what are we now? Am I your blood bag?" Taehyun asked jokingly.

"Yeah! You're my blood bag and lover now." Kai said with a wink, which made both of them laugh.

What a crazy night. It was still weird for Kai to accept that he liked Human blood now.

"Alright, now that we're here, why not practise together?" Taehyun asked Kai.

"Sure love!" He said smiling.

"So cheesy." Taehyun laughed as the clock striked 2:45, and both of them practised for the dance like Taehyun first intended to. Taehyun was feeling a bit dizzy, but that's okay, he had Kai to hold on to. His new Vampire strength was crazy.

"Alright my Vampire lover, put me down will you?" Taehyun asked with a grin.

"How about no?" He smiled and spinned Taehyun around according to the choreography.

Let's just say, all it took for Taehyun to confess was Kai becoming a Vampire.
