Our Kitty

Taehyun was now sitting with the four others, fully dressed up and showered. His eyes darted between the four males, making him a little nervous. Why were they gathered around him like this?

"Kitty, we will ask you some questions. Can you answer them?" Beomgyu spoke up, breaking the silence and passing a notebook and pen to Taehyun. Taehyun stared at the blank pages, with a look of confusion at first, but then understood what they meant. They wanted him to write his thoughts.

He only stared back at the four individuals infront of him in shame, his ears down on in his head. He was feeling ashamed of himself, because despite being almost an adult, he had no knowledge of reading or writing.

The other four stared at Taehyun, waiting for his reactions but they didn't get a positive one.

Beomgyu once again spoke up.
“Kitty what's wrong? Can you tell us your name by writing it down?” He asked with a soft voice, like he always did with the Cat hybrid.

Taehyun panicked. He was supposed to follow their orders, he was being asked to tell his name, just a simple thing.

“Speak up you little sh*t!! Where did your voice go huh? Your mother didn't birth a mute b*tch!"

Flashbacks from the past started filling his vision, everything around him started swirling, suddenly he wasn't in the warm surrounding of the four strangers, but he was back in his house, the hell he desperately wanted to escape.

“I can't, I can't.. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry-” Taehyun gripped his hair, desperately trying to cover his ears to stop the loud yelling of his father, his head felt like bursting open and bleeding with all the insults he was so used to hearing. He desperately wanted it to stop.

He couldn't hear anything or feel anything besides the feeling of loud ringing in his head and the feeling of hands gripping tightly around his neck, making it hard for him to breath. He panted and screeched, trying to take in whatever amount of air he could. His throat felt like burning and his hands were shaking at this point. He felt trapped inside a nightmare.

“Kitty, Sweetheart? Sweetheart, can you hear me?” He felt a warm hand on top of his shaky ones, and slowly he felt the surroundings change back to the Warm and cosy living room of the four people who saved him. The yells and noises slowly started fading away as he felt someone whispering sweet little “breathe with me” “it's okay Kitty” “shhh” and a comforting hand on his back, rubbing little circles.

He didn't realise he started crying, until Kai wiped off the tears from his face. He looked up at the four people who were staring back at him with concerned eyes.

He let them down again, he really is a broken and tainted doll with no use now. He's already ruined, and now he will ruin them too, just like he ruined his own family. More tears fells down his cheeks, feeling miserable.

“Kitty?” He looked up at the soft voice calling out to him, and he finally raised his head to find the Older Alpha peering down at him with eyes full of concern and warmth? Soobin.

Why did Soobin, an alpha, have such soft emotions in his eyes for him? He never saw such emotions directed towards him from someone like Soobin, it was always disgust, hatred, rage or lust.

“Kitty, can you hear us now?” Soobin asked again, and Taehyun immediately felt bad for spacing out again. He slowly nodded his head as “Yes” and he saw Soobin sigh with relief.

“Are you feeling okay now Kitty?” Yeonjun asked, still rubbing his back softly, to which he nodded again.

“Okay, okay. Do you need anything sweetheart? Water?” Yeonjun asked carefully, as he saw the hybrid had stopped shaking now, picking at his skin.

Taehyun did feel like his throat was burning, so he nodded a yes.

“Alright, I'll get some water for you yeah? Just relax.” Yeonjun said, and immediately got up to go to the Kitchen to bring the younger a glass of water.

Taehyun was feeling ashamed once again. Just a day in this household and he already was making everyone distressed. He held back his tears, he didn't want to disappoint them any more now.

Will he ever make someone proud of him?

The Cat hybrid was now asleep on the couch, wrapped around Kai, he was exhausted after the sudden panic attack, and immediately fell asleep after drinking some water and a cup of warm hot chocolate Yeonjun made for him.

“We should let him sleep comfortably.” Soobin suggested to which everyone else agreed. Taehyun was deep asleep, so Kai easily carried him to his and Beomgyu’s shared bedroom, laying him down on the bed and covering him with his blanket, watching the boy sleep peacefully. At least in his sleep, he looked peaceful.

Beomgyu sighed, looking at the younger boy, who now laid asleep on his and Kai’s bed, gripping the blanket and breathing softly.

He couldn't help but wonder what the boy went through in his life, that he was acting like this. Since the second Kai brought him into their house, he had at least 3 breakdowns and his spacing out and lack of speech was another subject. Just what did this young boy go through?

“I think we should talk about this.” Soobin said once the four of them were downstairs.

“Yeah.” Yeonjun nodded as well.

“There is something very wrong about this boy, and we don't even know a single thing about him. This is dangerous, we are literally keeping someone whose identity is unknown to us. What if he has a parent or a caretaker?” Soobin started speaking.

“But he said he didn't wanna go back..so maybe something is wrong here?” Kai interjected.

“Yeah, we can't leave him alone! Kai literally found him in the park freezing to death Soobin!” Beomgyu argued as well.

“So? That's not our responsibility!! What if the four of us get in trouble for this? You know how dangerous it is to keep an Omega and we could be charged for kidnapping and what not if his parents or guardians find out!!” Soobin yelled, getting frustrated with his mates. They were acting too emotionally and weren't thinking logically.

“You think he has a guardian when he looks like that?” Kai yelled back, his Alpha side taking over and refusing to submit to the older Alpha.

“Kai, don't be an immature kid right now!! This isn't something we can just do because we want to!!” Soobin growled, grabbing Kai’s collars, seeing Kai refusing to understand him made him furious, he was the pack leader, and Kai was supposed to listen to him.

Kai got angry as well, refusing to leave his ground. His Leader was being stupid and irrational here. How could he not see that the younger one needed them?

“Me? Immature? Soobin you're the one being Dumb as fuck and emotionless here!!” Kai grunted back, grabbing Soobin’s hands which were on his collar as well.

“Emotionless? Kai stop being a senseless little shit and use your fucking brain!!” Soobin spat harshly, and hurt flashed in Kai’s eyes from his words.

Both of the Alphas were baring their teeth at each other, saying stuff they didn't mean.

“STOP!! JUST STOP YOU TWO!!” Yeonjun yelled in frustration, pulling Soobin and Kai out of their rage-daze, tears almost threatening to fall from his eyes.

Seeing his two mates fight like this was so painful to him, he hated when Alphas fought like this because of their stupid pride.

“Get your head out of your stupid Alpha ass, and see what you two are doing!! Is this how you act? Soobin? Is this what you promised us when you decided to be our leader? And Kai? Is this how you treat your pack leader?” Yeonjun scolded both of them, as Beomgyu separated Kai and Soobin.

Soobin looked away in embarrassment and Kai was looking down in shame, both guilty and refusing to look at each other. Yeonjun’s scolding put them back in their sanity, and they realised fighting like this will get them nowhere.

“Apologise to each other right now.” Yeonjun ordered, and both of them nodded, Kai fiddling with the string of his hoodie and Soobin glancing towards the younger Alpha.

There was a palpable silence of one whole minute before Soobin decided to break the silence.

“I'm Sorry Hyukie.” Soobin took the initiative, and looked at Kai, who was also looking at him now, both embarrassed and guilty.

“I'm sorry too Soobinie hyung, I should have been more logical here.. you're right.” Kai admitted, now looking at Soobin as well.

Soobin smiled, and asked Kai for a hug, to which Kai happily agreed and wrapped his arms around the older man, nuzzling his nose into his neck.

“M’ sorry.” He mumbled softly, and Soobin felt like melting. How did he even yell at his sweet younger Mate, who radiated such warmth and love? He must be out of his mind.

“It's okay baby, I'm Sorry too..forgive me?” Soobin asked, carding his fingers through Kai’s soft black hair, scratching behind his fluffy black and white ears knowing the other loved it.

“Mhm, Love you hyung.” Kai murmured, pressing a kiss on Soobin’s neck, which made Soobin blush.

“I love you too, Hyukie.” He responded back and kissed Kai’s cheek as well, to which the younger one smiled brightly.

Yeonjun and Beomgyu watched their two mates reconcile quickly, giving each other sweet kisses and hugs. A smile formed on Yeonjun's face, seeing how easy it was to love them. This is the reason he fell for these two Alphas. Despite Alphas being naturally dominating and aggressive, Kai and Soobin got along very well, being the Gums even before Yeonjun actually met them. He almost thought Kai was a beta or Omega from his behaviour, but the cute boy is a really sweet Alpha, who loves them.

Soobin was more of the Colder type at first meet, but he was a shy softie inside, always so considerate of others opinions and feelings, and had a protective nature. Yeonjun saw that side of Soobin everyday, and it made him fall for him even more if it was possible.

Beomgyu saw Kai and Soobin finally acting like their usual gum selves, and it made him smile too. His heart really did belong to these three people, who were so full of love with each other. They were baring their teeth at each other a minute ago, and now both of them are all shy and bashful, saying sweet things to each other. Beomgyu Truly loved this.

Beomgyu and Yeonjun glanced at each other, smiling and nodding in understanding because one look was enough for them to know what the other wanted to decipher.

Both of them wrapped themselves around the two already Hugging Alphas, making it a group hug. The four of them stayed together in the hug, basking in each other’s warmth and comfort after a chaotic day, deciding to think about the problems later and just be in each other’s arms for now. For now, everything was fine, because they had each other..like always.
