Here's Beomkai for ya! Li0nsden

Beomgyu was walking back to his dorm, eyes swollen and red with tears. His voice sounded broken and hoarse from Yelling. He harshly wiped off his tears and entered the room, slamming the door shut.

He dragged his legs forwards, having no energy to even walk. He sighed for the nth time, stepping towards his bed. Maybe a Good sleep would help.

But his plan was instantly ruined when he felt someone gripping his wrist.

"Why are you crying? Who made you cry?" The owner of the hand said in an authoritive tone, which sent shivers down Beomgyu's spine.
But he ignored the feeling, not wanting to speak with anyone right now.

"Leave me alone. I'm fine." Beomgyu said, trying to remove his hands, but the other's grip was steel strong.

"You don't look fine to me Hyung. Is it because of him again?" Huening Kai, Beomgyu's eternal enemy who also happened to be his Roommate...spoke with a tone Beomgyu has never heared before. It made him feel weird in his stomach. Still he shrugged off the feeling and tried to reply.

"N-none of y-your business Kai." He wanted to sound strong but his voice came out like a whimper instead. He was on the verge of breaking down. And Kai being like this wasn't helping at all. Why was he being like this?

Huening Kai and Beomgyu were neighbours since they were 10. Their houses were beside each other, and they saw each every single day as a result. Their Parents were good friends even. But that wasn't the case for Kai and Beomgyu.

Beomgyu always saw Kai as his enemy. He hated Kai, more than anything. Why? Because he was always the one beating him in Soccer matches. Everyone praised Kai, and he had a ton of friends unlike Beomgyu. He hated that. Kai was good at everything. And that everything also included studies.

If only Kai didn't exist, Beomgyu would be the topper in his class. The only subject in which Beomgyu was able to beat Kai was Maths. Kai was horrible in Maths, while Beomgyu was the best in that. Beomgyu walked to his home with a smirk on his face the day when he got a 98 in Maths exams.

He remembers Kai's face, it was crestfallen. Beomgyu was Proud. Finally he got more than Kai! But seeing the sad boy's face may or may not have made him a bit sad too. Whatever who cares. He can brag about it to Kai for ages now.

Well, that's what he thought. But his thoughts were proven wrong. The teacher asked Beomgyu to tutor Kai. His face was worth watching. He was literally shocked and annoyed. Why him?
He wanted to deny, but the extra grade was what kept him going. If he tutors Kai, he will get an extra grade.
And that's how Beomgyu tutored Kai for a whole Month.

Beomgyu thought that maybe in College he would get rid of Kai. But no avail. Kai fucking Huening was here too! Why does he have to follow Beomgyu everywhere?
It wasn't even Kai's dream college, that's why Beomgyu chose this one. But why did Kai come here too? It's still a mystery to Beomgyu. Still it was fine. They had different majors.

But, it wasn't the end. Beomgyu wanted to jump off a cliff when he got to know, Kai... Fucking Damn Huening Kai was his freaking Roommate.

"No why!! Why is that guy my roommate now? Was being in the same college not enough?"

He went to the authority and requested them to change his roommate, but they disagreed. Beomgyu returned to his room stomping his feet and throwing a glare at Kai, who just passed an annoying smile at him.

God, Beomgyu wanted to kill Kai right then and there. If only looks could kill, Kai would be six feets under right now. Why can't God see him happy? Fuck his life.

It was the happiest day in Beomgyu's life when he finally got together with his crush, Yeonjun. He had a crush on that senior since the first day he saw him. Finally, when he gathered the courage to confess to him and got the same feelings back...he was over the moon.

Finally something good in life. That day, Kai's face was worth to look at. He looked bitter and Pissy. Beomgyu loved that reaction. Finally! Kai is the one jealous now, not him. Hah taste your own Medicine Kai. He was defenitly the happiest person on earth that day.

But sadly, his happiness didn't last long. After 2 months of Dating Yeonjun, he started behaving weirdly. It seemed like he was ignoring Beomgyu. At first Beomgyu didn't think much about it, but day by day it seemed like Yeonjun didn't care about him anymore.

Anytime Beomgyu would ask him to spend time together, he would make up excuses saying "I'm busy" or "I'm tired today, maybe some other day". At first Beomgyu shrugged it off thinking maybe it's because Yeonjun is really tired. But recently it started to become more obvious that Yeonjun didn't care about him. He was hanging out with another senior named Soobin most of the time.

Beomgyu once even suspected him, and when he confronted Yeonjun about it, they got into a fight, and Beomgyu came back crying, and that day too Kai had a weird expression on his face. Since that day, Kai has been acting extra weird.

But Beomgyu still went on with his life, confused about Kai's behaviour. He didn't teased or annoyed Beomgyu anymore. They haven't even bickered in a while, istead Kai is being kinda sweet? And it's making Beomgyu have weird feels in his head. What is Kai upto?

Today, Beomgyu had enough of Yeonjun's weird antics, so he decided to talk to him. He went to the shop and bought some flowers for him. He smiled imagining Yeonjun's expression. He was walking with a happy smile towards Yeonjun's dorm room.

He knocked on his door, but no one answered. He tried to peek from the peek-hole. He leaned on the door and the door swinged open. Beomgyu saved himself form almost falling face down on the floor.

With a sigh, he walked inside and was about to call out Yeonjun's name, when a sight he never wanted to see flashed infront of his eyes.

Yeonjun was on Soobin's lap, kissing him.

Beomgyu's heart broke into pieces and the flowers in his hands fell down. He stood there frozen. No words escaped his mouth. Yeonjun and Soobin didn't even notice his presence.
Beomgyu knew it was over. It was over between them. He yelled "I hate you Choi Yeonjun" and walked out, without looking back. Tears falling down like a waterfall from his eyes.

He should have seen it coming. No wonder Yeonjun was being like this. He hated himself so much for trusting him. He wondered if he was only a side toy for him. If he was the only one who liked him. Afterall they never acted like Couples usually do. But Beomgyu thought maybe Yeonjun's love language was different. Now it makes sense. He was just a fool to like him.

And that's how he ended up in his present situation with Kai.

[Hueningkai's POV]

He was just having a normal day, laying down on his bed, daydreaming about Beomgyu. He always had a liking for the older.
Ever since they were kids, Kai looked up to Beomgyu thinking he was such a cool person. He wanted to be friends with Beomgyu. He wanted to seem cool infront of him too. Like he thinks of Beomgyu.

Beomgyu was the reason he joined the soccer team. So that he could play with Beomgyu in the same team. He never imagined he would be good at it. He got praised a lot by his teammates and coach.

Smiling he looked in Beomgyu's direction, hoping now he would ask the boy to be his friend. But his thought was crushed, Beomgyu was looking at him with a foul look in his face.

"Why is he looking at me like that? Does he hates me?" Kai thought to himself and his face fell. He didn't mean to upset Beomgyu. There goes his wish of befriending Beomgyu down the drain.

Same happened with grades. He always got good grades and it seemed like Beomgyu was unhappy about it. That's why he decided to not work hard on the only subject he sucks. Maths. Kai never liked maths but if he wanted, he could score good in maths.

He wanted to see Beomgyu happy and if it meant he got shit grades in Maths then be it. And as expected, Beomgyu looked so happy when he got more marks than Kai in maths. It made Kai happy too. But what made him sad was, Beomgyu still didn't like him.

He was feeling gloomy, but when the teacher asked Beomgyu to tutor him, he was ecastic. Finally! He will get to talk to him. He may or may not have developed a crush on the older boy.

Well can you blame him? Beomgyu was way too perfect for his sanity. He had those pretty Doe eyes, a cute smile...and when he pouted, Kai's heart did flips. Why was he so adorable? Beomgyu was just so irresistible.

That one month of tutor session was the best month of Kai's life. He got to stare at his crush without any suspicion. Great right? He thought, maybe now is the time he becomes friends with Beomgyu. But still no avail. Beomgyu still hated him.

This thought always made him sad, but he never let it get to him. And that's how, he got admission in the same college as Beomgyu.
Well it seemed like Beomgyu wasn't happy about it. He tried to play it cool by acting like he hated him too. But the reality was different. He never hated Beomgyu. It was just an act to interact with the other. Wgo cares about the conflicts or fights? If he could talk to Beomgyu this way, then be it. Atleast this way, Beomgyu will notice him.

He was happy being Beomgyu's roommate, but his heart broke when he got to know Beomgyu is dating Yeonjun. The cool senior. All his hopes got crushed. Maybe, he wasn't meant to fall for the boy.

Kai cried himself to sleep that day...and after that he stopped bickering with Beomgyu. What was the point now? He will never notice him anyways. But his heart didn't allow him to move on.

Guess that's a part of Kai now. Loving Beomgyu was his nature. He accepts it now. It's fine as long as Beomgyu's happy.

So when Beomgyu came crying that night because of his boyfriend, he wanted nothing more but hugging the crying boy and punch that guy who hurt Him.
But sadly he could do neither of them. Afterall who was he to Beomgyu? No one.

He started treating Beomgyu differently since that day. He tried to subtly take care of Beomgyu. It was just small Goodmornings and Hellos, heating up food for him before he came, smiling at him when he said something offensive. Things like that. He thought Beomgyu will not notice them, but he did.

Now, today...when he saw Beomgyu come back looking like a wreck, he couldn't take it anymore. Beomgyu looked so broken. He couldn't stand there and do nothing. Yeonjun doesn't deserves a guy like him. He could be a better boyfriend than him. If only Beomgyu noticed that.

"You don't look fine to me Hyung. Is it because of him again?" Kai asked Beomgyu. He wanted to kill Yeonjun. Beomgyu trusted him with his heart and he dared to break it? He should consider himself lucky that Beomgyu liked him.

"N-none of y-your business Kai." Hearing Beomgyu's voice breaking, Kai's eyes softened. Beomgyu looked so broken and fragile. God he wanted to Hug Beomgyu so bad.

"It is my business hyung. It is Yeonjun again isn't it?" Kai hissed, his eyes turning dark with anger. He was towering over Beomgyu holding his wrists with a tight grip.

Beomgyu was malfunctioning. Since when did Kai looked like this? He looked scary yet so hot at the same time. Kai's big frame made him feel so small infront of him. He seemed to be drowning in Kai's dark eyes.

He felt his stomach twisting, and his cheeks burning. Wait- he isn't supposed to feel like this. Kai is his enemy.

Gathering the left over courage, he managed to let out some words.

"W-why is it y-your business?"

"Why? Hyung are you kidding me right now?" Kai scoffed and continued to speak.

"Ofcourse it's my business. I love you. I love you to death hyung. And the person I love is hurt! How can I stay calm? At first I thought maybe I wasn't meant for you..and Yeonjun hyung will be good for you, but no. He kept hurting you again and again. It hurts me to see you disappointed after he rejects your affection. It pains me to see you in tears and sadness. I want to see you smile, not cry." Kai confessed in one breathe. He held Beomgyu's hands gently... looking at him with nothing but love and care.

Beomgyu's breathe hitched, he felt like someone knocked out the air from his lungs. Kai? His eternal Enemy loved him? How...why. And why does it seems so wrong yet right at the same time.

Kai was looking at him like he was the most precious thing to ever exist. No one, not even Yeonjun ever looked at him like this.

"W-what...you don't hate me?" Beomgyu asked still in Disbelief.

"Yeah, I never hated you hyung. I always wanted to be your friend. But you seemed to dislike me. I always thought you're the coolest and most adorable person to ever exist. Please don't hate me. I want you to love me. I can be a better boyfriend than him. I'll treat you way better. But only if you want me to. If you deny right now. I won't bother you anymore. I won't ask anything, I'll just leave and disappear like wind."

Hearing Kai's sincere words, Beomgyu was confused. Now that he thinks about it, did he ever hated Kai? Or he was just jealous? Jealous of the people who got to be with Kai, while he was alone. Or did he hated the fact that Kai always made him distracted and have weird feels?

Kai's smile always seemed to annoy him, because whenever he smiled, he felt something weird in his stomach. When he saw Kai sad, he felt sad too. But he just shrugged it off.
And recently, these weird feelings were developing more. Why was Kai so sweet?

He even had a dream about Kai once, but he will never admit that.

So, did he ever hate Kai? Or was he trying to convince himself that he hated Kai all this time?

"Hyung please answer me." Kai's voice made him come back to reality.

"H-huh? I don't know Kai...I don't know what I want." Beomgyu said getting close to Kai.
Kai was still looking at him with those pretty eyes. The eyes Beomgyu is drowing in slowly.
His eyes flickered from Kai's eyes to his lips. His perfect, pink lips. Which Kai was biting anxiously.

He doesn't knows what he wants anymore. But right now, he wants one thing. He wants to kiss Kai.
Slowly he looked up at Kai and said

"I don't know what I want, but right now, there is one thing I want. I want to kiss you." Beomgyu said directly looking at Kai.

Kai's nervous system collapsed. Did Beomgyu just say he wanted to kiss him? Really? And Beomgyu was so close to him. He can't let him go anymore. This is the chance.

So he took the chance and did what he was destined to do. Kiss Beomgyu.

When Beomgyu felt Kai's lips on his, he forgot about the breakup, he forgot that he was crying a while ago. He forgot everything. All that he was able to think right now was Kai. Huening Kai. The one he thought he hated. But he didn't. He just realised it.

Kai was so careful. He was holding Beomgyu's waist so delicately like he was a fragile doll made of glass. His big hands holding him in place. It was like Kai's hands were meant to hold Beomgyu. His lips tasted so sweet. He was melting in the feeling.
He put his hands around Kai's neck, deepening the kiss. Kai tilted his head and pinned Beomgyu to the wall, smiling in between the kiss.

They parted for a second to breathe. Kai looked at Beomgyu with the same dark look but this time it was not of anger. It made him feel butterflies dancing in his stomach.

"I love you Hyung." Kai wishpered before he dived in for Beomgyu's lips again. This time it was more agressive than before.
Suddenly it felt so hot. Kai's hands roamed over Beomgyu's waist. He lifted up his shirt, tracing the skin beneath it.
It made Beomgyu let out a gasp, and Kai took the chance to enter his tongue into Beomgyu's mouth.

Beomgyu gave up trying for dominance because Kai won.
Beomgyu's brain was in a haze. He never thought kissing Kai would be this good. It was the best thing he decided to do.
Kai's touches were so delicate yet burning. He felt like his body was on fire.

He was sure now. He wanted Kai. He wanted him.

After their long make-out session. Kai was now holding Beomgyu and looking at him with the same smile which gave Beomgyu those weird feels.
This man's Duality is insane. How could he look like an angel when a while ago, he was no less than a devil? Kai is impossible.

"So do I get a chance to treat you better now hyung?" Kai asked smiling.

"Y-yeah, maybe you aren't t-that bad afterall. Maybe I don't h-hate you." Beomgyu said shyly.

"Aww really? So hyung likes me too? I knew you can't resist my charms." Kai said in a cute tone, kissing Beomgyu's cheeks.

"Stopp!! D-don't think so ahead of yourself yet." Beomgyu was sure he looked like a tomato right now. God Kai Kamal Huening, this man.

"Yeah yeah~ So can I call you mine now?" Kai asked lifting Beomgyu's chin making him look at him.

Beomgyu just nodded, still not recovered from the things which took place.

Kai lifted Beomgyu up and swirled around with him in his arms, laughing happily.

"Yahh! Kaii what are you doing! Put me down " Beomgyu said trying to stop him.

"I'm so happy hyung. I can't believe You finally gave me a chance. I love you so much. I'm the happiest person alive right now. Seriously!" Kai said smiling and hugged Beomgyu tightly.

Beomgyu was now smiling too. Kai was such a sweetheart. He never recieved love like this from Yeonjun. But Kai, he's so perfect. He's making Beomgyu's heart weak.

"I'm happy too Kai."
He replied and he was satisfied to see the smile of Kai's face after. God why didn't he do this before? Kai was perfect for him. The one he thought he hated was the one he loved. How stupid can someone be?

But now that he thinks, it's fine. Afterall he gets to see Kai smile like this.

"Hyung I'm hungry, let's get something to eat and cuddle later! I'm tireedddd." Kai said dragging Beomgyu with him to the kitchen.

Beomgyu just smiled and let himself get dragged by him. God how can someone be like this? Just a while ago he was set on to devour Beomgyu and now he's being all cute and sweet? He's in trouble.

But it's okay, it's Kai. The one who assured him that
"I Can be a better boyfriend than him."
