Yeonjun was in the bathroom coughing and panting, A single Light pink coloured petal came out of his mouth and fell to the sink. That's when Yeonjun knew he was in deep shit.

So Yeonjun has a crush on his group member Beomgyu...he doesn't know when it happened but he realised that he loves him more than friends.
But sadly the other didn't felt the same about him...so here he was now suffering.

"Hyung are you fine-" Kai asked Yeonjun knocking on the bathroom door.
"Don't enter kai! Please I'm fine!" Yeonjun shouted from inside and Kai said okay and walked away still worried about his hyung.

This was getting harder than expected....Yeonjun's love for Beomgyu was growing more day by day and so was the flowers in his lungs. He coughed out a petal everytime he saw Beomgyu Clinging to Soobin or Flirting with Kai. His heart clenched and it became hard for him to breathe.

One day they were practicing for their upcoming comeback and Beomgyu was clowning Yeonjun's rap part. Yeonjun sat beside him and scoffed showing he's done but he was a bit happy inside...
Then suddenly Beomgyu was tackled to the ground by Taehyun who was wrestling with him and he looked so happy. It made Yeonjun feel sick and he felt like coughing so he got up and went to the bathroom not knowing someone was behind.

"Oh my god hyung! I knew something was wrong" maknae Kai said as he entered the bathroom looking at Yeonjun who coughed a number of Pink soft petals now.
K-kai...why did you come inside?" Yeonjun said looking at Kai in horror....he wasn't supposed to find out about this!
"Hyung i am not that dumb...i noticed these days you ran to the bathroom often and i even heared you coughing one night in your room" kai said worried.
Yeonjun just started at the floor saying nothing.
"It's beomgyu hyung right?" Kai asked
"Am i that obvious?" Yeonjun said chuckling.
"Hyung how long has it been? You should get surgery! You know you can die right?" Kai said walking towards Yeonjun and holding his hands.
"i know kai... I'll get it soon after the comeback." Yeonjun said sighing. He didn't wanted to get the surgery and lose the precious feeling...even tho it hurt him.

Kai hugged him and walked with him outside. Yeonjun was feeling a bit better now.
The members were sitting in the Van now and Kai was beside Yeonjun. Beomgyu and Soobin were asleep and Taehyun was scrolling through his phone.

After they reached their dorms...Kai immediately took Yeonjun to his(yeonjun's) room as he was ready to cry anytime seeing Beomgyu. Kai told Taehyun he will be sleeping with Yeonjun today and he nodded yes. Beomgyu was confused about why Yeonjun was ignoring him since the time Kai and him came out of bathroom.

As Yeonjun entered the room....he fell to the floor coughing and gasping for Air and this time he coughed three bloody petals at once. Kai was shocked to see it.
Even Yeonjun was... he never coughed blood with petals... it hurted him much more than before.

Kai helped Yeonjun to get up and Gave him some water. Yeonjun Hugged him and burst out in tears.
"Hyung please get the surgery soon... the roots are Anchoring deep...please hyung"
Kai said sitting with Him on the bed. Yeonjun just nodded and they cuddled to sleep.

Next day Yeonjun was avoiding Beomgyu at all cost and sticked to Kai... which made Beomgyu worried and kinda jealous?...did he do something wrong? Why was Yeonjun hyung ignoring him?
So to clear it up...he decided to talk with him tonight when Kai wasn't around.
They were in their dorms now and Yeonjun was in his room thankfully alone.
He decided to go in and he knocked on his door saying- "yeonjun hyung I'm coming in"

Yeonjun was in his room when suddenly he felt his chest tighten and he started coughing, tears welled up in his eyes, He soon coughed out a whole flower laced with blood. Then he heared someone's voice- fuck it was the person's voice he didn't want to see right now. Beomgyu. He quickly threw the flower under his bed.

Beomgyu entered the room to see Yeonjun on the floor, coughing and tear-eyed. He got worried and walked towards Yeonjun and held him in his arms.
"Hyung! You're sick! Why didn't you tell us" yeonjun felt himself being lifted to bed.
Beomgyu placed him on bed and after a while he came back with warm tea in his hands.
"Here hyung...drink this. You will feel better" Beomgyu said giving the Tea to Yeonjun. Yeonjun just smiled weakly and drank the Tea. He felt a bit better now.
"How do you feel now hyung?" Asked Beomgyu looking at him. His eyes were filled with worry and care. It made Yeonjun happy...he felt like he could breathe much better than ever...after Seeing Beomgyu so close to him.
"I'm fine now Gyu" Yeonjun said and weakly smiled to Beomgyu.
Beomgyu thought he will ask Yeonjun about that later as he needs rest rn.
"Hyung tell me when you need something.... I'm here for you!" Beomgyu said and hugged Yeonjun tightly before going out of his room.

Yeonjun felt his cheeks flush and he felt much better than any day. "Don't get your hopes too high yeonjun he's just caring as a friend" yeonjun reminded himself and sighed laying down and getting comfortable on his bed.

The next day yeonjun noticed Beomgyu was paying more attention to him and when Kai clinged to him Beomgyu glared at Kai...Yeonjun wasn't sure what was happening neither Kai noticed it.
"Hyung do you wanna go to the new café with me and Taehyunnie?" Kai asked Yeonjun smiling...and Yeonjun nodded, the younger was too cute to resist. After their dance practice Taehyun, Yeonjun and Kai went to the café.
"You two seem so close these days... what's going on between hyung and you ?" Taehyun asked Kai and Yeonjun when they were sitting together in the café. Yeonjun choked on his Coffee and Kai just laughed awkwardly. Kai looked at Yeonjun asking if he could tell Taehyun but he nodded as No.
"Uh it's nothing Taehyunie... It's just Yeonjun hyung was not feeling well and i saw him so I'm taking extra care of him..haha" Kai said smiling nervously...he sighed with relief when Taehyun nodded and smiled.
"I thought him and hyung were a thing...haha I'm so dumb" Taehyun mumbled but Yeonjun heared it. He looked at Taehyun and saw him looking at Kai.
"Guess he likes him huh" Yeonjun thought to himself and smiled. He always noticed Taehyun looking at them whenever Kai was with him. Oh how clueless Kai was.
After Sometime they left the café and walked together to the dorm. They walked inside and Taehyun dragged Kai to their shared room and Now Yeonjun was left alone in the living room. He sat on the couch and he opened weverse talking with Moas.

Beomgyu came out of his room to see Yeonjun sitting on the couch smiling at his phone. He thought it was the right time to ask Yeonjun so he walked towards him.
"Hyung....can i talk to you for a moment?" Beomgyu asked Sitting beside Him. Yeonjun looked up from his phone and saw Beomgyu infront of him. He put down his phone and faced him.
"Yea sure what is it gyu?"
"Hyung...why are you ignoring me these days? You only hangout with Kai and ignore me-"
Yeonjun was shocked to hear this....how did he noticed it- oh god he was doomed. He felt his chest tighten and his urge to cough was getting stronger.

He was going to get up and go to the bathroom but Beomgyu held his wrists stopping him.
"Hyung answer me first" beomgyu said annoyed.
Yeonjun turned to him but words were not coming out of his mouth...it was getting hard to breathe...he wished Kai was here to help him.
It was like god listened to his words Kai walked out of his room and looked at Yeonjun who looked in pain... Kai understood the situation and he came towards Beomgyu taking his hands off Yeonjun and pulled Yeonjun towards him...glaring at Beomgyu.
"Kai me and hyung are talking why are you here?" Beomgyu said gritting his teeth.
"Don't you see hyung is in pain? If he needs to go let him...you can talk with yeonjun hyung later beomgyu hyung" kai said and took Yeonjun with him to the bathroom.
Beomgyu stood there confused and jealous...yes he was jealous that Kai was always taking Yeonjun away...they seemed very close these days and he thought Yeonjun was ignoring him because of Kai. He wanted to pull out his hair in frustration. Wait- why was he jealous? He doesn't likes Yeonjun...so why..
"Wait why do i care with whom hyung is? Ofc i should he's ignoring me...but why am i jealous of Kai? Do i like Yeonjun hyung? Oh no-"
Beomgyu realised he has developed a crush on the elder. Recently he can't keep his eyes off him and whenever he sees Kai with yeonjun...he feels like that should be him...he has a crush on his groupmate and hyung...

[In bathroom]
"hyung breathe take it easy... It's okay Beomgyu hyung isn't here.." kai was comforting Yeonjun who was coughing...it wasn't as bad as that day when Kai saw him in his room...but still it looked painful.
Yeonjun coughed out but this time it wasn't a whole bloody flower but only some Dried pink petals.

"Thanks hyuka I'm fine now...i seriously don't know what i would do without you" yeonjun said sitting on his bed with kai. They were in his room now.
"It's okay hyung...i know I'm the best brother ever!" Kai said laughing and Yeonjun laughed too.

These days Yeonjun felt less sick and he didn't cough often and when he did only dried petals came out...he could breathe properly again...was his love for Beomgyu going away? No it can't happen...his heart still runs miles when the younger touches him or smiles. So...can it be- beomgyu likes him back now?
Yeonjun told about this to Kai and he said-
"I think so too hyung...he looks at you with those heart eyes...and he is always sitting beside you these days and he sometimes glares at me when I'm clingy to you... congratulations hyung!"
Kai said jumping up and down and smiling happily at Yeonjun meanwhile him who still couldn't believe it. Kai was teasing him and Yeonjun felt fed up with it now so he teased him back.
"And what about you huh? Don't you see Taehyun looking at you like you're his world? He literally keeps smiling looking at you hmm?"
Kai blushed hearing that and whined To Yeonjun to stop.

....
They were given a week to rest...after the promotions And Yeonjun was sitting as usual on the living room couch talking with Moas on weverse when he saw Beomgyu looking at him from the door. He smirked and decided to tease him.
"Do i look handsome today gyu? You're staring" yeonjun said without looking up from his phone but he knew Beomgyu blushed.
"N-no w-what are you s-saying hyung" Beomgyu said stuttering with embarrassment. Yeonjun chuckled and motioned Beomgyu to come near him. Beomgyu walked towards Yeonjun and sat beside him.
Yeonjun put down his phone and looked at Beomgyu.

"Hyung i actually want to ask you something-"
"What is it?"
"Do you like Hyuka?"
"I- what- no Wtf gyu-"
Beomgyu sighed in relief and smiled...he leaned towards Yeonjun's face and Yeonjun panicked... WTH was Beomgyu doing?
"So taehyun was right huh....then do you like me hyung?"
Yeonjun felt his breath stuck in his throat...just a sec ago Beomgyu was shy and now what's with the sudden Duality? He's not gonna lie Beomgyu looked hot like this-
"Why are you not answering hyung?" He said hovering over Yeonjun....and looking straight at him. God knows where did that confidence came from. Beomgyu was nervous inside but he needed to know...the chance was now or never. He didn't wanted to suffer from the same hanahaki shit Taehyun suffered before.
"I like you hyung...i realised it some weeks ago...i really like you i can even say i love you...when i saw you with Kai i felt like that should be me...when you got sick i was so worried and i figured out I love you..so do you like? Like me too?"
Beomgyu said looking at Him...their faces were inches apart now and Yeonjun swears if this was a dream he didn't wanna wake up.
"Y-yes gyu i like i mean i-i love you too... actually i did from a long time...u didn't even noticed but the reason i was with Kai always was also You."
"Me? How?" Beomgyu asked confused.
"Actually i liked u from a long time..and u didn't so i was suffering from hanahaki...but it seemed to be cured now i understand why-" yeonjun said smiling at him.
Beomgyu was shocked...So Yeonjun was in love with him and he even suffered from hanahaki bcuz of him?
He was thinking when he felt something on his lips...oh OH YEONJUN WAS KISSING HIM WTF- his brain short-circuited but he kissed him back...It felt good and He was on the clouds. Their lips fit perfectly together.
Yeonjun was beyond happy...he never thought Beomgyu would actually like him back and here he was kissing him feeling euphoric... whatever was left in his chest Withered away.

"Oh my eyes...you two get a room ugh"
They heared Soobin's voice and Beomgyu jumped up falling down the couch looking at Soobin blushing.
"I'm going y'all continue" Soobin walked away giving them a thumbs up.
Yeonjun looked at Beomgyu both of them blushing.
"So are you my boyfriend now?"
"Ofcourse hyung! I love you!" Beomgyu hugged Yeonjun kissing his forhead and they both smiled.
