two.

"THATS PATHETIC. I'm glad my parents aren't forcing me to join a club. I'm at peace with my free-depression self!"

Eliana let out a sigh and let her head hang on the side. "I mean, a club can't be that bad. Right?"

Bianca took a moment to respond. With an unsure shrug she said, "Depends what club you'll be joining. Whatever you do, do not join the mathletes club. That's social suicide."

"Right."

As the two girls were on their way to school, they were discussing a major problem.

Well, according to Bianca it's a "major problem."

Eliana's parents thinks she lacks participation in anything. A club is their perfect solution.

Which isn't true at all! Eliana does plenty of participation. She's always giving dating and fashion advice. And those are things that students at Padua High School are in absolute need of.

Pulling up to the school, Eliana took in a deep breath.

Why was she so nervous?

No clue.

If Eliana was going to be completely honest, she hasn't been a relationship. Being a person who's actually good at love advice, it's a shocker. She never felt the need to involve herself with anything romantic.

Of course there were multiple occasion where guys and girls have asked her out, but all they got in response was a sweet rejection. She was flattered at most, but she didn't think she was ready for a relationship.

Would that change this year?

Who knows. Maybe she'll actually find the right one.

Hopping off the front seat and closing the door, she quickly fixed her skirt.

Turning around to face the school, the two sophomores started to walk towards it.

Hearing the song, "Bad Reputation" out in the distance of the parking lot, Bianca groaned in embarrassment.

"Ew, it's Kat. God knows what might happen to me this year if she continues to be like that!"

Eliana's eyebrows furrowed. "Oh please. Give her a break Bianca. She isn't even embarrassing. If anything, you're lucky to have a sister like her."

"You can have her."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."

"I'd love that."

IN THE guidance counselors office, a lanky-like boy with an optimistic, innocent face was sitting in the chair across from Ms. Perky.

With one look at the boy, Ms. Perky smiled. "I'll be right with you."

Looking at the lady in front of him, he gave an awkward nod.

On the computer of Ms. Perky, she was finishing up a racy sentence from her pulp romance novel.

"As his hand slid up her creamy white thighs, she could feel his huge memb pulsating with desire."

Closing her computer, she looked up to the young boy and gave a bright smile.

As she stood up, she handed the boy his transcript. "So, Cameron. Here you go. Nine schools in ten years, my my... Army brat?"

"Y-yeah. My dad's a-"

Not really caring what he had to say, she cut him off. "That's enough."

Cameron looked at the lady with an unsure look on his face.

"I'm sure you won't find Padua any different from your old school."

As some sort of food was thrown at the window, Ms. Perky gave a frustrated look, "Same little asswipe shit-for-brains everywhere." Letting out a laugh, she moved away from the window.

Cameron was in disbelief that the guidance counselor had just cursed. "Excuse me? Did you just say-" Pausing, he was still trying to process everything. "Am I in the right office?"

"Not anymore you're not. I've got deviants to see and a novel to finish. Now scoot. Scoot!"

"Oh. Thanks."

As Cameron rises to leave he bumps onto a shelf behind him. Before exiting, he passes a smug looking, long haired guy, who's blocking his way from exiting.

Giving a frightened look, he quickly moved along.

WALKING THROUGH the hallways, a senior with a republican's sense of style, introduced himself to Cameron among the bustle of the hall.

"Micheal Eckman. I'm supposed to show you around."

Shaking his hand, Cameron was relieved. "Oh hi. Thank god! You know, normally they send down one of those audio/visual geeks."

A bit flustered, he pointed to Cameron in an "understanding" way. "You know, I do. I know what you mean."

As then, an av geek approaches the two, pushing a cart full of film equipment. "Hey Micheal, where should I put those slides?"

Brushing off the av geek, Micheal lets out a fake scoff. "Micheal?" Turning back to Cameron, he continues along walking. "So, uh," Checking his paper to see his name, he resumed, "Cameron! Here's the breakdown."

Clearing his throat he points to a group, "Over there you've got your basic beautiful people. Now listen. Unless they talk to you first, don't bother."

"But wait, is that your rule or theirs?"

"Watch." To an ironically not very good looking jock, he tells him, "Hey there."

"Eat me."

"You see that?"

Exiting the school and moving to the courtyard, Micheal continues his pep talk.

"To the left we have the coffee kids. Very edgy. Don't make any sudden movements around them. And these delusionals are the White Rastas. Uh, they're big Marley fans. They think they're black."

"Smoke a lot of weed?"

"Yeah."

For the next minutes, Micheal goes on and on.

Over with Eliana, she's walking with Bianca. Bianca is going on about her nails, and wondering how she should get them done next.

Eliana is giving small smiles to everyone she passes, as Bianca acts as if they're not even there.

The two continue walking, and Eliana makes eye contact with a guy she's never seen before.

As he gives her a love-struck look, she gives him an even wider smiler than she gave the other people.

Meeting up with Chastity, Bianca changes the subject to something other than her nails.

"Yup, but see, there's a difference between like and love. Because I like my sketchers, but I love my Prada backpack."

Chastity frowns, "But I love my sketchers."

"That's because you don't have a Prada backpack."

Chastity seemed to be enamored of Bianca's wisdom. "Ohhhh!"

With a roll of Eliana's eyes, she muttered a small, "Please stop talking."

Not audible to her two friends, but to Cameron who was walking behind her.

He let out a small chuckle, making her turn around.

Meeting his eyes once more, she let out another smile that made his heart pound and cheeks heat up.

Turning to the two girls that were both on one side of her, she told them, "Hey, I'll catch up with you two later."

Chastity smiled and nodded. "Bye!"

"Bye Eli."

Eliana then walked over to the boy and the other boy next to him.

Micheal didn't believe this. He didn't even utter a word.

"Hi! I'm Eliana!"

Cameron's eyes widened. "I-I'm uh-" Cameron looked over to Micheal who was just as shocked. Turning back to the girl, he finished with, "Cameron?" Realizing that his response came out as more of a question, he quickly corrected himself. "Sorry! I'm Cameron."

"Are you new here? I've never seen you around."

"Er, yeah. Just moved here last week."

"That's cool! If you ever need a buddy to talk to, I'm always here."

Eliana intensely cringed at her choice of words, but didn't show it.

"Oh! Yeah, totally."

An awkward pause happened until Eliana spoke up again.

"Well, ill see you around Cameron. Have a nice day!"

"Thanks. Shit, I mean, you too."

Eliana then turned to Micheal, "Bye Micheal!"

As she walked off, Micheal unfroze and let out, "What the fuck. How does she know my name?"

Ignoring the boy, Cameron mentally cursed at himself for being so awkward.

Not knowing what else to say, he quickly asked, "You know if she's single?"

"Yeah, she's single. But everyone knows that dating isn't her thing. No point in even trying to ask her out."

"Uh-uh. Yeah."

Cameron James was sure that he was going to change that.
