REAL LIFE (FEBRUARY 14),

"ELLA THERE'S A PACKAGE FOR YOU." Baylen shouts to his best friend, "I'M COMING." Ella shouts, turning off her phone and racing to the front door.

"Did you bring it in?" she asked, looking out her door to see no package. "Yeah it's in the kitchen." Baylen answers as he walks to his room, ramen in hand.

Ella rushes to the kitchen to get her package. She quickly takes scissors and opens it, slightly cutting her finger.

"Ah shit." she winces, grabbing a paper towel and holding it around her finger as she goes to her bathroom to get a bandage.

She finishes everything with her cut finger, then goes back to the package.

She opens it and smiles immediately when she sees a letter, a purple hoodie- her favorite out of Matt's- and her favorite candies as well as a stuffed animal giraffe.

Dear El Bel,

Happy Valentines Day Ella. Not gonna lie, I wish we could do something in person, but this works. I miss you a lot, we all do. Alahna the most, second to me of course. We all want you to come down this Summer or we could go up and bring Alahna maybe if you want. Anyways, happy Valentines day lovely, I hope you don't magically get another fake hickey on your neck and decide to prank me again.

Ella smiles, bringing the box to her room and posting the letter on her little board where she has pinned pictures of her and her friends, and small little letters Matt has written for her.

As she unpacks everything from her box, she slips on the hoodie and opens her phone.
