it's 2025, are we really still dealing with plagiarism??

it's honestly so frustrating, and at this point you should know that you're gonna get caught, whether it's a book idea, the book itself or graphics, stealing is wrong and you will be found.

if you want to write, then write. if you can't come up with any ideas, there are plenty of plot shops that you can check out and request a plot from, but stealing someone's book is not okay

and translating a book without that person's permission is also stealing! even if you give credit. if you didn't ask and they didn't grant you permission, then it's considered stealing!

as for graphics, if you find graphic that someone put time, inspiration and money ( depending on the software they use ) into - whether it's a cover or a manip or any kind of graphic - don't use it.

and 'i found it on pinterest' is NOT an excuse!

if you didn't make it, don't touch it! don't clam it as yours!

taking inspiration, though, is something else entirely! but don't copy someone's work, it's wrong and frankly, it's very rude.

plagiarism isn't funny, or cool, it's awful!

it's a terrible feeling to have something that you worked hard on, that you put her heart into, stolen. it's gut wrenching to see someone else take credit for the work you put your everything into.

just don't do it

and i sympathize with anyone who has ever had a book, an idea, or graphic stolen from them. i've been in that boat, and it's not a fun ride for anyone.

bottom line, if you feel the need to steal, then just leave the app now.

this is supposed to be a safe space for writers, readers and designers to share their work, not a place for you to steal something just because you felt like it.

it's 2025, DO BETTER!
