oh no
"Y/n? Y/n?" Someone hissed from the shadows of the night, causing my eye lids to fly open. I immediately sat up.
"Who the shuck is there?"
I was starting to learn glader slang.
"Me."
"That does not help."
"Uh, it's me, Gally."
"Oh. Well, why didn't you just say that then."
"I don't know."
"Where are you?"
"Outside, with a torch."
"Come in then."
He slowly pushed the wooden door open, trying to prevent it from squeaking, he failed but it wasn't too loud.
"It's been a few days." He whispered as he sat on my bed.
"Yes, it has."
It's been a week since Gally asked me to be his girlfriend. He'd done a lot of things to make me his. And I couldn't lie, I had fallen for him. But only a bit. Okay, maybe a lot.
"So, I'm going to ask you again."
"In the middle of the night? Can't you wait until morning?"
"Ugh, fine." He sighed, "Can I at least stay in here?. Instead of having to walk back to the homestead."
"It's literally right on the other side of that wall," I pointed to the wall of planks opposite my bed, "But, sure."
I couldn't see all his face but the side I could see lit up in happiness. He tip-toed round the bed and slid under the covers beside me.
Minho shook me awake. "y/n!" He shouted quietly.
"Mhm" I murmured, my eyes still closed.
"Get the shuck up. It's time to run." He said grabbing my arm roughly and attempting to pull me out of bed.
"How can you not pull me out of bed?" I laughed.
Minho stopped pulling and nodded to beside me. I turned. It was Gally. His arm was around my waist, holding me in place.
"Gally!" I shouted. He sat up straight with his eyes wide.
"What the shuck y/n! I was sleeping!"
"Yeah, but you were also cuddling me." I chuckled, trying not to blush.
"Oh, sorry." He turned bright pink.
"Anyway," I quickly changed the subject, "Min Min and I are off running."
"Stop calling me that." Minho said.
"Oh yeah sorry. Me and Minho are going running. I'll be back just after lunch." I did a thumbs up while following Minho.
"You know y/n if Alby finds out you've been sleeping together he'll be mad." Minho told me while we walked.
"We weren't sleeping together. Well, not like that. He came to visit me in the middle of the night and then was too lazy to go back to his hammock. So, he stayed." I ran off into the maze.
"Mhm. Sure." Minho breathed under his breath.
I had now memorised almost all the maze and today was the day that we were going to explore section 6 for this first time. Both of us lost track of time and it got dark very quickly so we started running back until Minho grabbed me arm signalling for me to stop.
"What?" I turned and he clasped a hand over my mouth.
"Don't-look-up." He whispered.
Of course I had to look up.
It was a metal, gross, huge creature on the veins above us, searching for something.
"What the shuck is that?" I hissed quietly back
"A griever." He said just a bit too loud.
The griever jumped down behind us, causing us to panic and run with it on our tail. Both of us knew that we were close to the maze doors so we pelted as fast as possible.
Then time stopped as I felt something stab through my lower abdomen. It was the grievers tail. It slowly pulled away and scurried.
It didn't even finish me off.
The pain hit and a loud yell left my lungs. Minho whipped round in shock to see a gaping hole in my body.
He looked as if he had no clue how I was still alive, neither did I. It was literally bleeding a lot and by a lot, I mean a lot.
"Y/n, oh my god. Are you okay?" He rushed, looking at the wound.
"Do- do I look okay?" I attempted to roll my eyes, "J-just get m-me back to the g-glade."
Tears started streaming down your cheeks. I didn't like crying, it showed my weakness but I at this moment in time i have zero strength to stop.
Minho lifted me up and put one of my arms around his shoulders. My legs were dragging underneath me as he pulled me along.
I mentally groaned, knowing that this would give Gally more of a reason to worry.
GALLYS POV
Alby had given me the terrific task of building a watch tower in the glade. So, that was what me and the rest of the builders were doing today.
It got dark and y/n and Minho still weren't back.
I didn't want to worry to much because I know she hated it and after all I was trying to get her to like me.
All of a sudden there was a gut wrenching yell coming from the maze.
All the gladers ran to the entrance of the maze, curious to know what that was. No one spoke, waiting in anticipation.
I needed y/n to be okay.
"HEY, THERE" Newt shouted pointing into the dull maze.
My head shot up to see pulling y/n. She looked dead. There was blood everywhere.
"MINHO, HURRYc COME ON!" I shouted.
He reached the glade and placed y/n on the floor. His pants were loud, he had obviously struggled to carry her.
She was still conscious but she had a massive hole through her stomach.
How the hell does that even happen? How is she even alive?
I dropped to her side.
BACK TO Y/Ns POV
Gally's face was struck with worry. I knew it.
"Hey, y/n. Stay with me ok. Your going to be ok." He cried.
Oh my god.
"S-stop crying." I choked out, smirking.
Next thing everything was black.
"Hey gally. Let's get her to the med Jack's." Minho said picking up my upper half. Gally grabbed my legs and walked me carefully to the med Jack's.
"Hey gu-" Clint started to say. "Oh my god is she okay?"
"What does it look like?" Gally snapped.
"Okay, sorry dude. Calm down. I have to make it clear to you, that we don't have anything that's good enough to deal with that."
"Just fix it!" Gally shouted.
"Gally, mate, calm down." Newt said as he walked in. "She's going to be okay. I'm sure of it." He patted Gallys back.
"Shuck off. You aren't sure of anything. HAVE YOU SEEN THE HOLE IN HER STOMACH?!"
"Guys, get him out of hear we need to deal with y/n in peace." Clint said, uncomfortably, to Newt and Minho. They both followed his instructions and led Gally out.
