griever hole

I walked back to my room to see Gally sitting up in my, basically our, bed staring down at his hands. I clambered in next to him and his head turned to me. Before I could speak he lifted me so I was straddling his hips.

"Hi." I said smiling.

"Hey. What'd you tell him?"

"Just about what happened."

"Mkay."

Gally's hands rested on my hips and i leant in for a kiss. He did the same and our lips connected. As the kiss got deeper he pushed my hips forward and lifted his up. A quiet moan escaped my lips and a grin broke out on his. I pulled away and he stopped rolling our hips as our eyes met.

"Y/n, what are you doing to me?" He chuckled and i connected our foreheads.

I laughed, "Do you ever wonder why one second I was really strong, like stronger than you, and then the next I can't even get out of a boys grip?"

"I don't think about it much."

I went to open my mouth to speak but no words left just a yawn. He laughed and rolled me off his hips onto my back.

"Goodnight, princess." Gally kissed my head.

"Goodnight, Gall." I smiled weakly before falling asleep with our legs intwined.

I woke up and Gally was beside me fast asleep. I decided to leave him alone. He hadn't got much sleep lately.

"Big day, greenie. You sure you don't wanna sit this one out?" Minho asked Thomas as I walked over to the pits with his harness.

"Come on, man. Get me out of here." Thomas chuckled weakly. He climbed out and dusted himself off.

"This is for you. It just symbolises you as a runner." I smiled and passed him the harness. He slipped it on and we made our way to the closed maze doors.

I looked behind me as soon as we stopped to wait for them to open. Gally must've woken up and I could see through the small window that looked into my room. He was changing but all I could see was his bare backs God, he's handsome. I watched him for a few more seconds until Minho broke me out of my daze.

"Y/n, stop staring at lover boy. We gotta go!" Minho pulled me through the doors.

"Okay! Alright! You can let go." I shoved him away and we broke into a sprint.

Minho took lead and Thomas and I kept behind. Minho hesitated for a second at a corner.

"This way. Not much further to the inner ring." I pointed in the direction we needed to go and he nodded before running that way. "A thank you would be nice."

"No." He replied bluntly.

"Ouch, Min Min. That really hurt my feelings." I pouted like a child.

"Are you guys always like this?" Thomas grumbled.

"Yes." Minho and I said together.

"Great."

We ran through Section 4.

Then Section 5.

Then 6.

Then finally 7. It was more vast than the others. The walls were rounded and straight a head of us was some doors. We ran through them into a narrow hallway type thing.

"That's strange." I said.

"What?" Thomas looked at me puzzled.

"7 isn't supposed to be open for another week." Minho answered before I could.

No one said anything more as we continued down until we reached the blades. They were metal slabs that turned at certain points to create a tall wall.

"What the hell is this place?" Thomas murmured.

"We can them blades." Minho replied.

I walked ahead and we made our through. Thankfully, without being closed in. I came to a stop when something touched my foot. I peered down to see a blood stained vest and a runners harness.

Ben.

Minho and Thomas stopped beside me and looked down to see what I was seeing.

"It's Ben's, isn't it?" Thomas asked.

"Yeah." I said emotionless.

Minho patted my back and gave me a sorry look. "A griever must have pulled him down here."

I sighed but then a noise was heard. It was like something turning on. I shoved Minho in front of me.

"Whoa, hey. I know we aren't the best of friends but no need to get so-"

"Minho, be quiet." I came back in front of them and held up the device we had found in the griever. The static noise got louder every time I moved slightly forward.

"I think it's showing us the way." Thomas spoke up. I handed it to him and he led us through another set of blades.

He stopped us when the noise became more violent. He turned 90 degrees before moving again. Minho and I followed closed behind, desperate to know where we were going. We were led to some more open doors. They led onto a path. On either side was just emptiness and if someone fell down they most definitely wouldn't survive it.

"You guys ever seen this before?" Thomas asked us as we slowly moved forward.

"No." I shook my head and Minho did the same.

The noise from the device got louder and echoed the air. In front of us was just a wall. Another dead end. Until Thomas pressed something on the device causing the wall to lift up and reveal a hole at the end.

"So it's a key.." I said.

"Basically." Thomas nodded.

"You sure about this?" Minho raised an eyebrow.

"Nope." Thomas said before going forward but I stayed still.

"Did you just say nope? No? You aren't sure? Great, we are all going to die. I like it when there is  at least one person who knows what we are doing. Right now there isn't anyone." I ranted.

"Y/n, you'll be fine." Minho grumbled and I sighed before jogging next to Thomas.

We walked through to the hole. Minho wiped his hand over the edge and pulled it back. Strings of goo left his fingers.

"Grievers." I stated and he nodded while grimacing.

Before anyone could say anything a red light at the end of the tunnel started flashing and it expanded to a circle. A light scanned over us and we stumbled back confused. There were more machine sounds and Minho turned to us.

"What the shuck was that?"

"I have no clue."

Then the walls began to rumble. Thomas threw the device back to Minho so he could put it back in his harness. I got a hold of them both and pulled them so we could break off into a sprint. The walls behind us closed and we ran faster . Once we made it out the blades started to close.

"And we are gonna get trapped. Run!" I shouted.

They ran in front but I was very close behind. We managed to only just get through a few of the blades before they slammed shut. Until, they shut in front of me, blocking me from the others. I ran along them and could hear the boys screaming at me from the other side. I pushed my body harder and harder until I was finally going fast enough to reach them. I jumped through and tumbled into Minho.

"Let's go!" Thomas shouted.

We got into the main section of 7 when the floor split in half upwards. A tall massive metal block began to fall down towards us. Minho and I ran to the side but Thomas stayed to stare at it. I quickly got a hold of his harness and pulled him away.

"You slint-head! You could have died! Why do you always look at things when they're about to kill us?!" I shouted as we ran. "May I add, that this is partly your fault we are in this situation right now!"

"Y/n, just shut up and run!" Minho screamed as the floor broke apart from behind us.

I led them to a door that was sliding up and nearly shut. We jumped up onto the top of it and began to frantically scramble through. I landed on my feet whilst the boys landed on their backs with a thud.

"We need to get back." I mumbled and they grunted in agreement.

We ran back to The Glade. Some of the boys were stood waiting for us with worried faces.

"Now, what the hell is going on out there?" Newt asked as we began walking with them all beside us.

"We found something, a new passage." I answered eagerly.

"We think it could be a way out." Thomas nodded.

"Really?"

"It's true. We opened a door, something y/n and I have never seen before. I think it must be where the grievers go during the day." Minho panted.

"Wait. Whoa, whoa, whoa. You're saying you found the grievers home? And you want us to go in?" Chuck ran up in between Thomas and I.

"Their way in could be our way out, Chuck." Thomas said I looked down at the young boy.

"Yeah, or there could be a dozen grievers on the other side." Gally spoke up from behind. "The truth is, Thomas doesn't know what he's done, as usual."

Thomas whipped round and got in Gally's face. Anger spread over both the boys and we all stopped to watch, knowing what was coming.

"Yeah, well, at least I did something, Gally. I mean, what have you done? Huh? Aside from hide behind these walls all the time."

"Let me tell you something, greenie. You've been here three days, all right? I've been here three years-" Gally spat.

"Yeah! You've been here three years and you're still here, Gally. Alright so what does that tell you? Maybe you should do things differently!"

"You've put my girlfriend in so many dangerous situations! You're a slint-head."

"Guys!"I heard a little voice. Teresa.

"Maybe you should be in charge." Gally continued. Obviously they hadn't heard the girl.

"HEY!" I screamed and everyone turned to me. "Will you please shut up and listen to Teresa?"

"Thanks, y/n. It's Alby. He's awake."
