"Greenie, has Alby assigned you a job yet?" I asked while pulling my harness on.

"Yeah. A slopper? I think.." He looked around to find where he had to be.

"Over there." I laughed and pointed.

"Thanks y/n!" He ran off.

"Hey babe." Gally said before behind me.

He grabbed my waist and twisted me around so we were face to face.

"Hey," I wrapped my arms around the back of his neck. "I have to go now.." I looked over his shoulder to see Minho standing by the maze entrance with his hands on his hips.

"Okay. See ya and stay safe, please." He pecked my lips and let me go.

"Y/n. Could you take any longer to get ready? We literally have to wear the same clothes everyday, I don't understand how your so slow." Minho rolled his eyes as we turned the first corner.

"I have a lot of friends and I like to talk to them all in the morning. It's okay if your jealous because you're not as popular."I patted his back.

"Ha. Ha. I can't believe I agreed to run with you." He grumbled.

"Y'know you love me." I nudged him and he stumbled to the side hitting his shoulder on one of the walls. "Oh shuck sorry Minho."

"It's fine, let's just keep running and not talk."

Moody pants.

"How was your first day as a slopper?" I asked at dinner.

"It sucked. It was just cleaning." He slouched.

I looked around to make sure my best friend wasn't close. He was getting his food from Fry.

"Don't tell Newt that. He'll give a full lecture about jobs and working together." I laughed.

"Why?"

"He's second in command. Gets very defensive of the whole way the glade works. So does Gally, he's obsessed with the rules."

"Is Gally your.. boyfriend?" Greenie raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. For 1 year and a few months. He's coming here now."

As soon as I said that Gally sat next to me.

"Hello Princess." He whispered in my ear.

"Hello baby." I said back.

"You know your name yet greenie?"

"I- erm- no.." he looked at his feet, "how did you remember?" He turned to me.

"I had a nightmare. It was like a memory. A bloody awful one. My name was said in it so I just knew. It will come to you soon bud. You'll probably know it by tomorrow." I smiled before leaving to my room.

I laid on my bed and looked at the roof.

"Y/N! I KNOW MY NAME! ITS CHUCK!" He burst into my room and saw that I was deep in thought. "Oh, sorry."

"No it's fine. Nice to know you know your name." I didn't bother to look at him.

"C'mon Chuck let's leave y/n alone. She needs her alone time." Gally placed his hands on Chucks shoulders and shot me a smile before leading him out.

I'm so in love with that boy.

I fell asleep and when I woke up, about an hour later, the sun was slowly going down behind the maze walls.

I opened the door and leant on the frame to look out at The Glade. God, it was so beautiful. Just perfect.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Gally chasing Chuck around. They looked like father and son. Gally stopped when he saw me. He smiled and waved before running off to find Chuck again.

I went back inside and got in bed.

When my eyes began to close I felt an arm slink around my waist and pull me closer.
I turned around and saw Gally.

"It's nice to see you getting along."

"He's really nice. I like him. He even said we were best friends. I bet he hasn't said that to you." He laughed.

"Nope. He definitely hasn't." I moved forward so my face was smushed into his chest.

"I love you so so much." He kissed my head.

"I love you more." I mumbled.

"Not possible." That was the last thing I heard before my eyes closed.

"Y/N! GALLY! THERES A FIRE!" Chuck screamed.

"Y/n. Y/n. Get up. Baby!" Gally was tapping me.

I opened my eyes and leaned up on my elbows to see Chuck staring at us scared.

"Huh? What's going on?" I watched Gally pull his t-shirt and pants on.

"FIRE!" Chuck yelled.

"Fire?" I stood up, not bothering to change. I walked outside and Chuck was right.

One of the huts was on fire. It was the kitchen. There were shouts and screams as people tried to stop it.

"Oh my god." I made my over and saw all the gladers throwing water on it. Fry was just looking guilty.

"You can't do anything without me." I rolled my eyes.

"I burnt the bacon." He mumbled.

"Oh no! Not the bacon!!" I laughed but he gave me a stern look. "Sorry."

I ran off to go help the boys. Winston passed me buckets and I emptied onto the fire that was slowly spreading.

"FRY! DONT JUST STAND THERE LOOKING GUILTY! HELP US!" I shouted. He immediately did what I said and I watched him making sure he was okay.

"Y/n! Be car-" Winston tried to pull me back.

I hadn't noticed how close I was to the flames. My forearm touched the fire only slightly but I still got burnt.

"Shuck!" I held it and shoved it into a bucket. God knows if it would help the pain.

"You okay?" Winston asked from behind me.

"Mhm." I winced. "I'm fine."

I'd felt worse pain so I got up and began to help again.

We spent a little more than hour trying to put the fire out and we finally did it. There was practically nothing left of the kitchen and many gladers were burnt, much worse than me.

They all went into the med-jack hut and it was packed. I knew Jeff and Clint couldn't do it by themselves so I went to help.

"Pass me the bandage." I told Chuck who was helping as well. "Thank you. Now, Doug, put it in water from outside. It helped me. Then come back for the bandages." I patted his back as he left.

"You got burnt?" I heard someone ask.

Gally.

"Yeah. I'm fine though. Nothing big." I smiled at Doug as he ran back in.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because we were putting a fire out." I replied while wrapping a bandage around Doug's hand. "Do we have any pain killers? This dude here needs them." I asked Jeff.

"No, we've used them all up. Sorry, mate but you'll have to do without." He now spoke to the boy in front of me

"Okay." He winced before leaving.

"Do Minho and Ben know or did they leave before it started?"

"It started just after they left." Clint explained.

"Right, okay.

This is probably the most pointless chapter but i was writing on Inkitt yesterday so this is just a quick chapter.
