her change in energy from their trainee days
versus when she was added to their lineup
was confusing for yeonjun to understand. she always
seemed so happy with her cøsmic girls, he
couldn't understand why it was so hard for her to
at least try and get along with them— until he put
himself in her shoes. since then, he's learned to
never invalidate another's feelings, knowing
everyone fought secret battles, having noticed mia
barely living from hers.

he's vowed to protect her with his life,
who said lifeguards couldn't have some
fun, either? the eldest of the choi line never
misses a chance to tease their female member,
however knows his limits and when the others
have taken it too far.

dancing prodigies.
these two were called the first pair during
their trainee years, always placing first at
their monthly evaluations. they've each earned
the legendary trainee title, respectively.

he, along with soobin, have become
sort of father figures for the girl. knowing
her mother's dual role during her childhood,
the oldest two promised Akane they'd look after
her child with the help of Ara, wanting to take at
least some of the stress of having your only child
in a foreign country off her shoulders.

you're more than likely to find this pair
locked away in a vacant practice room,
dancing their energy away while complaining
of their exhaustion— only to not stop until every
step out is perfectly coordinated.

on the darker side, these two are the worst
with handling negative comments. one, singular
you look chubby will catch their eye and suddenly
they refuse to for three days. the boys
constantly scold the pair for this, both
unwilling to change their ways.

daniel choi is obsessed with mia ono's
canadian accent, and vice versa. these two,
being the most fluent english speakers of
the group, will unknowingly switch their
languages halfway through a conversation.
she's his practice book, being the reason his
learned tongue is in tact til this day.

the light of his life, despite
her awfully dark wardrobe.

he knows nearly everything about their
girl, learning it directly from mia when
she came to him, ready to spill it all.

he's her guardian angel, her safe place.
he knows her like the back of his hand,
and takes care of her in the quietest way
possible— for which she's eternally grateful for.

she was able to find immense comfort
in the boy early on, despite her inner wishes
to stray as far from her new members as
possible. he made it impossible for her.
soobin was the only one she'd speak directly
to for a while after her addition, causing the
others to grow jealous of their relationship.

her korean teacher, full time.
his reactions to her minute mistakes
when speaking the language are endearing
to witness, the boy always patient with her
mispronunciations, letting her know it was
okay to make the mistakes, none of it being
her fault.

she knows how pressuring being the leader
is, from her own first-hand experience.
mia also knows how hard-to-manage this
particular group of boys are, never hesitating
to step in for the older when he lets even a
glimpse of his stress show.

soobin being the widely-known bread
lover he is receives a monthly bread
allowance from misaki. the girl
is aware of how unhealthy her
own eating habits are, the boy somehow
following in her footsteps being
the last thing she wants.

following the subject of food,
misaki always makes sure to make
a soobin-safe batch whenever the
original dish has more than a few
tablespoons of gochujang.

they bond over their beloved animals,
soobin's being odi and mia's being oddy,
having similar names to eachother.

the birthday twins <3
despite beomgyu secretly despising the
girl for being born on their blue hour, it
makes him the happiest person alive knowing
she'd always been destined to end up in their
arms, as their female member.

he constantly makes his anger known,
always ranting to moa how unfair it is
for misaki to be part of hyung line despite
being only a minute older than he was—
this always being the topic of their arguments.

despite his complaints and playful banters,
beomgyu loves his little emo princess so dearly.
he's always seen clinging onto her whenever he's
able to, never willingly letting the girl out of his
sight, wanting to know she's always safe and sound.

just like he understands her broken
korean, she understands his inaudible blabber.
there've been instances where the boys will fall to
their knees in front of the girl, begging her to tell
them what the boy was saying, only for the mystery
to be solved in the blink of an eye by the girl.

it took the longest for mia to open up to beomgyu.
his social, energetic character caused her to feel
overwhelmed at first, only because it'd reminded
her of her best friend from cøsmic. soobin had
somehow been able to figure this out, after hours
upon hours of extensive research, informing the
youngest of the choi's to take it easy around the girl.
since then, these two are nearly inseperable.
sure, they've had plenty of moments, however
nothing could change the love she's grown for
their beloved mood maker.

like he loves hearing ono misaki speak
rapid, seemingly perfect japanese, she loves
hearing choi beom gyu speak in his daegu satoori.
with her korean deficiency, it's hard enough for
the boys to understand her during normal
conversations. thanks to beomgyu and his
undying urge to teach her his satoori, her mixed-in
unfamiliar words only make it harder for
them to 100% understand what she's trying to
convey.

him being one of the group's early birds,
and her being nearly impossible to wake up
in the mornings, make a great match. his
morning routine now consists of going into
the girl's room and cuddling her for half an
hour before the others wake up.

their eyes seem to morph into
pits of admiration when they're around
eachother, yet they can't seem to notice.
of course, it's always been and always will
be strictly platonic— however they can't help it.

taehyun was the one to come up with her
korean name, if we're being honest here.
the others of course take credit for her surname,
even if they just took off a mere two letters from her
real one, they want to feel special.

she's his favourite model, always asking
the girl to pose in front of something to take
advantage of her beauty, wanting to admire her
even when she's away from him.

he's able to understand the girl on a
different level, similar to soobin. taehyun
has a built-in anxiety sensor, immediately
knowing when misaki's suffering from an attack
of some sort. he knows her tactics and tricks,
able to help control her overbearing emotions
in the blink of an eye.

with their polar opposite opinions on
the gym, taesaki have their occasional bickers.
in the end, however, the girl always ends up
sitting in the corner, patiently waiting for
the younger to finish his sets.

his eyes hold pools of wonder, she says.
his face is something she often gets lost staring
into, and she's not afraid to admit it. how lucky she
is to experience his astonishing being in real life,
she knows it. there are countless clips of the girl
getting lost in his face floating around the internet,
considering she's not afraid to do so in front of the cameras. it's her favourite thing to see him turn
red from her gaze, never missing a chance to make
it happen.

terry kang has lots to learn from
mia ono, and it's a good thing she's
patient. similar to the others, taehyun
only feels comfortable taking english lessons
from mia herself, aware of her endearing,
genuine support for all of them.

her first male 동생. the moment
taehyun first called mia 누나, she was
over with, ready to give him the world.
she's vowed to protect both official maknaes,
knowing how scary it is to be sent into the
grown up world at such a young age.

her little baby, as much as she
wanted to deny in the beginning.
what can she say, though?
the boy's charms captured her heart
from the start, still refusing to let go.

he was the only one she could bare
to speak to when they'd first began practicing
together, however never made an
attempt to get to know the boy as he
was always surrounded by his four hyungs.

the maknae holds a special place
in his 누나's heart, never being told
no, always being cared for. her love
is loudly, yet silently, shown for the boy.

both being the group's foreign
members adds a greater title to
this pair, kai sometimes asking mia
for her input on helping remember his
childhood memories, often forgetting she's
canadian.
digging deeper than their bordering home
countries, these two have been heavily
critiqued for their non-native roots since
they debuted, having eachother + the
other four to knock them out of their
negative, sometimes intoxicating mindsets.

this pair also took quite a while to warm
up to eachother— huening because of her being
an unfamiliar girl, and mia because of him
being equally as shy as she was. it wasn't a bad
thing— nothing was bad about him. she just
always wished for the boy to make a move
to initiate their friendship, however he didn't.
and that only made her separate herself from
him even further.

she's his solace.
when negative comments tune out
the good ones, she's all he has left—
at least in his mind. he knows that
as much as she may want to, mia will
never, ever say nor think anything negative
about him. there've been nights where he
quietly barges into her bedroom, sobbing
into her lap because the hate just gets too
hard to handle.

her growing relationship with his sisters
warms his heart, feeling both of his worlds
+ three of the most important girls in his life
colliding in the most beautiful way possible.
