thanks to her time in the industry, Misaki had experienced countless situations that were still sort of unfamiliar to the boys.

with their popularity on the rise, partly because of her being a member, the company had asked Mia if she'd be okay with having a solo photoshoot for more group promotion.

of course, she always wanted to do whatever she could for her boys — even if she was ridiculously shy in front of photographers who weren't their own.

the girl softly huffed as she helped her stylist 언니 pack her bags, the older looking at the girl with softened eyes. "you're really not okay with this, are you?"

she softly smiled, "is it that obvious?"

the older patted Mia's head, gently playing with her long hair. "you'll be okay, Jae and I will be right there to help you," she said, referring to her and Mia's assigned makeup/hair stylist 언니. the girl smiled, feeling a bit better than earlier.

from what she'd been told earlier in the week, the boys' schedules were filled with varying practices and sessions, hers having been the only one to've been cleared.

eventually she, her stylists, and the manager besties were on their way to the Dispatch building. Mia couldn't help but to follow soothing breathing exercises she'd memorized for times like these.

"hello, Misaki! welcome!" the receptionist greeted the idol at the door, Mia softly bowing as she giggled before returning her greeting. JiSu stood behind them, setting up the camera as the group's media team asked them to film a behind the scenes for their youtube.

the girl was quickly taken to her dressing room, Dispatch's employees having spread out inspiración pictures for the theme they'd thought of for her.

HaeWon smiled as she and Jae thought of the same look for the girl — immediately moving around their products to pick out what they'd thought would be perfect.

the two had kicked Misaki out of the room, leaving her to walk around the building with Ara and JiSu filming.

"hi, MOA~" she began the video with a greeting, showing her shy smile as she giggled afterwards. "i'm here for a photoshoot.. by myself.." she paused, looking at the camera with a funny look on her face. "i don't have to be nervous, though, right? you'll keep me company?" she asked, loudly laughing as she cringed at her own words soon after.

"stylist 언니s are currently choosing what i'm gonna wear for the pictures, i'll be back to show you the process of me getting ready!"

JiSu turned the camera off as he and Ara watched the girl take in a shaky breath, the besties immediately able to sense how nervous the girl was. they were quick to squish the girl into a group hug, smiling as they heard Mia's usual giggle.

"why are you so nervous, Mi? you're great at these things,"

"the boys aren't here."

another camera cut on, except this one was filming the five boys in their second van, on their way to the Dispatch building in secret.

"hi, MOA!"

"we're on our way to surprise Sami 누나!" HueningKai said, a bright smile on his face as he mentioned their girl.

"yes! she's on her first solo schedule since our debut and she mentioned she was very nervous.. so we begged the agency to let us come and they finally let us!" BeomGyu said, yet his facial expressions exposed their attempts in their staff members allowing them to accompany Mia were, in fact, all but peaceful.

SooBin, who was in charge of recording, simply chuckled at the middle child before he spoke again, "we'll update when we're there! Misaki, fighting!"

Mia soon got called back into her dressing room to get changed into her outfit for the shoot, the girl surrounded by seven different stylists in order to not mess up any other part of her look.

truth be told, this was the most comfortable Misaki had ever felt in a concept for a photoshoot since her career had begun. she'd always been put in colours completely contrasting to those she'd personally choose for herself, and seeing what her stylist 언니 had chosen based on the moodboards provided — she felt a hundred times more comfortable.

Misaki could instantly hear the besties' cheers and screams as she stepped in front of the camera — her smile unable to be masked thanks to the sudden confidence boost she received from the two.

SooBin showed him and the boys stepping out of the van, quickly entering the building without being seen by the few surrounding fansites.

"we have to be quiet since the studio is sort of quiet," he said as they walked further into the building, eyes smiling as he heard CØSMIC's music being played throughout the studio. they themselves were instantly able to feel how much life the girl put into the studio thanks to the songs blasting through the studio.

their manager was soon able to find a place for the five to settle in, away from the girl's direct line of sight but close enough for the boys to still have her in theirs.

the leader turned the camera so it was facing the girl, filming her posing for a few seconds before panning beside him to show the boys — all four pairs of eyes wide with fascination for their girl.

a few minutes of Misaki's miscellaneous poses passed before the photographer called an end to the shoot — the girl stepping out of the spotlight before bowing towards every part of the studio, thanking them for their hard work.

the besties made their way towards the girl, each taking one of her hands as they accompanied her back towards her designated dressing room.

what she hadn't noticed was TaeHyun's manager walking closely behind them, the camera already filming, only awaiting the members' reveal.

Misaki and the besties held their own conversation, the energy around them very high as she felt happy. when she least expected it, her eyes caught the very noticeable pink mullet rocked by the eldest member.

"오빠?" she called out, causing YeonJun to turn around while the younger members followed directly behind him. the girl was quick to drop the pair's hands, carefully running towards her members to engulf them all in a group hug.

"what are you guys doing here?" she asked, covering her widened mouth as she was still surprised.

"we came to support you, 누나," TaeHyun said, the words causing an even brighter smile to break out on the girl's face.

"you looked SO beautiful, 누나!" the maknae called out, earning a squishing of his cheek in response.

the boys continued showering her with seemingly endless compliments, the girl's face effortlessly flushing at the unexpected amount of attention she was receiving.

"ah, come on.. it's not that big of a deal," she tried playing the occasion off like a normal day — but they all knew how she really felt about the photoshoot.

"you make us so proud, Gou. don't think you don't," SooBin said, having remembered the small conversation he'd overheard the girl having with herself. she was scared to show a bad side of herself, which would automatically reflect on the team.

the girl'd been working hard night and day to make herself look the best she possibly could for this very reason — the boys having decided to treat her for her hard work.
