EXHAUSTION RAN THROUGH SHAY'S body as she drove towards TM. After a long night dealing with Jax showing up on her front porch in the late night hours, spilling the news about Tara and faking her pregnancy while simultaneously confessing how much he's in love with Shay and wanted to be with her, it all sent Shay's insomnia into over drive.
Of course Shay being who she was couldn't just send Jax away after all of that. It was obvious Jax needed to talk, let out his feelings about Tara and much more, but even as he angrily talked about Tara all Shay could hear was his confession of loving her. It replayed over and over in her mind as she tried to act like she was paying attention to him, nodding whenever it felt necessary or giving him a sympathetic touch.
Jax's declaration of love shouldn't have send shock waves through her body like it did so much. It was obvious there was a lot of love between the two, but for some reason her mind couldn't grasp it.
Only after talking for hours in the warm light of her kitchen did Shay offer Jax to sleep over, but on the couch of course. She didn't want to jump into bed with him again so easily.
Shay didn't want to be a rebound for his current broken heart because even though he claimed to love her, she wasn't willing to break her own heart if Jax decided he wanted to work things out with Tara.
A sigh left her lips as she pulled into the lot her tired blue eyes scanning for Jax's bike. He had left early this morning after eating breakfast with Shay and Leela, even taking Leela with him to his house to get some bonding time withΒ Abel. Jax was adamant that he wanted his two children to be close and form a bond like he once had with his brother β even though bond had been cut way too early.
Shay's forehead furrowed as her blue eyes focused on Opie and Tig in what looked like a heated conversation. The brunette continued to watch the two bikers, squinting her eyes as she tried to read their lips.
"Fuck." Shay muttered as she watched Opie punch Tig in the face. She quickly shut off her car and hurried towards the two not even bothering to shut her car door. "Opie, what the fuck?" She questioned as she reached the two men, pushing the lumberjack of a man off of Tig.
"It's okay." Tig groaned as blood poured from his nose. "I deserve it." The curly haired man admitted as his glossy blue eyes stared at Shay with pain and regret forming in them.
"I'm sure you do, Tiggy." Shay mumbled as she tried to lighten the mood while also trying to stop the bleeding from his nose. "I think you broke his nose." Shay shook her head as she stared at Opie, noticing the rage behind his eyes.
What could have Tig done that made Opie break his nose? Sure, the SAA could be annoying and say whatever came to his mind at the worst times but nothing had ever warranted this kind of reaction.
"Don't fucking come near me or my family ever again." Opie warned not even paying attention to Shay as she stared at him with shock on her tried features.
"Fuck Tig, what did you say this time that Ope wants to kill you." Shay watched as Opie stomped towards his bike and quickly peeled off.
Tig shook his head as his blue eyes stared into Shay's. "You shouldn't be helping me, Shay. You'll hate me just like Opie once you find out."
A scoff left Shay's mouth at Tig's words. It was obvious he was drunk and wasn't making sense, but why he was drunk during the afternoon was a mystery to her.
"Shay, stop." Tig practically pleaded with her as he pushed her hands away from his bleeding nose.
"Tig what the fuck is wrong with you? I'm trying to help you." She was growing frustrated and impatient with the biker. She didn't understand why he didn't want her help.
Tig stared at the blue eyed woman, his eyes holding a sadness to them before he spoke the words that would change everything.
"I killed Donna."
Shay's mouth opened in shock as she took in Tig's confession. Why? It didn't make sense why would he kill Donna? Her heart began to beat fast, feeling like it was about to rip open her chest.
She shook her head, not allowing herself to believe his words. "That's a fucked up joke." Shay hissed at the older man before turning on her heel and walking away from the bleeding man.
SHAY FOUND HERSELF AT Jax's home once she left TM. Tig's words kept playing on a loop in her mind. She needed to know if he was telling the truth.
"What's wrong?" Jax immediately asked once he opened the door to see Shay standing there with tears threatening to fall from her eyes.
"Is it true?"
"Is what true?" Jax was completely confused, but the look on her face made him want to comfort her.
"Did Tig kill Donna?" Shay could hear her face shake as she whispered the question.
Jax ran a hand over his face as a deep sigh left his lips. He didn't know how Shay had found out and he had hoped she never would, but here she was standing in front of him looking completely broken.
"Yeah." Jax sighed as he pulled Shay into his arms.
Shay broke down, tears falling from her eyes onto the front of Jax's white shirt. A SAMCRO member had killed Donna. What did that mean now? Was Charming and the club no longer safe for her either.
