JAMES BUCHANAN 'BUCKY' BARNES IS A TWENTY-FOUR YEAR OLD WHO LIVES IN ENGLAND AS AN UNRECOGNIZED ARTIST, DUE TO HIS STATUS. HE'S A POOR MAN LOOKING FOR ADVENTURE, AND IN 1912, HE GOT HIS ONE CHANCE—THE TITANIC.

CHARLOTTE 'LOTTIE' ROSE DEWITT BUKATER IS A SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD FIRST CLASS RICH GIRL WHO IS SICK OF HER LUXURIOUS AND BORING LIFE WITH HER FORCED FIANCÉ, CALEDON 'CAL' NATHAN HOCKLEY, AND NEEDS AN ESCAPE. SHE WANTS TO SING AND BE A PERFORMER, BUT HER FAMILY DISAGREES. JUST LIKE JAMES, THE TITANIC IS HER WAY OUT. AFTER ALL, IT WAS THE 'SHIP OF DREAMS.'

AS JAMES AND ROSE MEET, THEY BOTH FEEL FREE. JAMES WAS THE FIRST PERSON TO UNDERSTOOD ROSE AND SEE HER FOR WHO SHE WAS. THE TWO COMING FROM TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS DOES NOT SEEM TO STOP THEM, UNTIL CAL AND RUTH DEWITT BUKATER, ROSE'S MOM, GET IN THE WAY AND TRY THEIR HARDEST TO KEEP THE TWO APART.

WHEN THE SHIP HITS AN ICEBERG AND PUTS EVERYONES' LIVES AT STAKE, ROSE AND JAMES TRY THEIR BEST TO STICK TOGETHER.

It's kind of funny how I came up
with this idea.

I was just watching Titanic the
other day, and there was this one
part were Jack's hair was just kind
of hanging in front of his face,
and it reminded me of this:

So then I was just thinking,
"You know, Seb could kinda
be a good Jack Dawson."

And then I thought...

Bucky could be a good Jack Dawson.

And a magical idea was formed.

If you don't really understand what's
going on here, basically this is an
AU we're Bucky Barnes is in the
place of Jack Dawson (And Steve
Rogers is kinda in the place of
Fabrizio but probably a little more
involved).

There isn't any Winter Soldier or
Captain America in here, but
Steve is not pre-serum Steve
because I can't take Chris Evans
seriously with his big head on that
tiny body.
