JENESSA LAUGHED as Caitlin, Gabbie, and Kate all gasped every time she showed them some boring thing on campus. "Guys, it's pretty much like Iowa, chill." She smiled. "Nah, Uconn's so much fancier." Kate crossed her arms. Jenessa snorted and shoved the older girl, making the group all laugh.

"Okay, final place of the tour, my personal favourite cafe!" The brunette clapped excitedly, her three Iowa girls cracking smiles. "Do they have matcha?" Kate raised an eyebrow suspiciously, Jenessa always made fun of her for her matcha obsession, hating the grass drink. "Yes Kate. They do." She rolled her eyes, the four walked in, heading up to the counter to order.

"Good morning Jenessa, your usual?" The raven haired girl across the counter asked, JJ had grown quite close to her, she was a sophomore and her name was Bailey. "Yes please." She nodded, tapping her card on the machine. Kate, Caitlin and Gabbie all ordered after, Bailey's jaw on the floor when she finally noticed the three.

"Thats Bailey, shes super sweet." Jenessa nudged Caitlin. "Okay, cool?" The taller girl laughed, confused. "She was basically eye fucking you! I know you haven't been getting any play in Iowa, might as well here." The brunette winked, Caitlins eyes widened. "Shut up!"

After finishing up, the girls headed to gampel, Jenessa wanting to show them around the back area. "You two look so goofy hold up-" She laughed, pulling out her phone camera and snapping a picture of Gabbie and Kate on the stairs. "Aren't our matching shoes so cute." Gabbie wiggled her brows. "...Sure!" Jenessa lied, a playful smile on her face. "Dont lie, we know you hate Hey Dudes." Caitlin poked.

Jenessa showed them their weight room, and the three agreed it was much better than Iowas. Ice and KK were working out so the Husky stopped and chatted with them for a bit. Kate, Caitlin and Gabbie wandering around the huge gym as she did so. "Hows things?" Ice asked.

"Good! Really good, actually. I didn't realize how much I missed those girls." Jenessa sighed, a warm buzz in her heart. She finallh felt like herself again, all her worries and doubts floating away when surrounded by her old teammates and best friends. "Im really happy for you." Ice grinned, she hadn't seen Jenessa glow like this in forever.

"Have you talked to Paige?" KK butted in. "Nah, I don't even know if she came home last night." She shrugged.

"I sure hope so, I drove her ass there." KK squinted her eyes, Paige had drunkenly called around midnight and the freshman went and picked her up from the bar, dropping her safely back at the dorms. "What? Why? Paige left in her car?" Jenessa's face became puzzled. "She went and got shitfaced at a bar." KK sighed. "Oh."

The three became submerged in silence, Jenessa deciding to find the others. "I'll see y'all later!" She waved, exiting the weight room.

"I want ice cream." Caitlin basically skipped to the freezer section of the grocery store. "Cait! Stop!" Jenessa pulled on her arm, they all laughed at her pouting. "I want ice cream." Caitlin repeated, trying to pull away.

"And we will walk like normal people, we are in public!" Nessa scolded. "I don't want any of my fans to know i'm friends with a weird ass bitch who skips everywhere she goes." She continued, a glint of mischief in her eyes. Caitlin gasped, placing a hand over her heart. She put her head down and walked with the group. "We need you back in Iowa, you're the only one who Caitlin lets put her in place." Gabbie bumped Jenessa making her laugh once again.

"Hey!" Caitlin whined.

Once they were back, it was dinner time. Jenessa decided to keep her friends hostage for a little longer, she cooked them dinner. "You really didn't have to." Kate said as she put together a plate. "Y'all shouldn't have to eat dinner in a hotel buffet." Jenessa crossed her arms, she always felt like a mother around the Iowa girls, despite being the second youngest of their little group.

"Well thank you, I for one missed your cooking." Caitlin hummed, shoving pasta in her mouth. The other two also nodded, thanking Nessa.

The door swung open, revealing a sweaty Paige. Jenessa could tell she'd gone to the gym. "Hey, theres food on the stove. Help yourself." She said with a small smile, Paige looked up and saw the four girls on the couch, she just nodded and went into the bathroom.

Once they heard the shower turn on, the three all whipped their heads at Jenessa. "Fucks her deal?" Gabbie whispered. "Yeah literally." Kate nodded furiously.

"Honestly, since you guys got here shes been even more mute around me. I dont get it. She's the one who did me dirty, sure we became fuck buddies and she thought I wanted more- well. I did, but I got scared. I tried to apologize, I almost told her how I really felt. But she still just blocked me out. Im, fuck. Im so incredibly in love with her, and I cant stop myself no matter how hard I try." Jenessa's voice cracked, she hadn't opened up about this to anyone, let alone Caitlin. Paige's #1 hater.

"Oh Nessa." Caitlin's voice was soft, wrapping her arms around the smaller girl. "Please don't be mad." She sniffed. "I could never be mad at you, I just don't want to see her hurt you again." She rubbed Jenessa's arm soothingly, Kate and Gabbie nodding in agreement.

"I don't know what to do." She wiped her eyes, still engulfed in Caitlins arms. "Maybe try talking to her again, but when you both are calm. And truly open up to her JJ, if she still doesn't smarten up, then she doesn't deserve you." Caitlin tilted her head, Jenessa looking back at her as she sighs.

"You are an amazing girl, and one of the strongest people I know. You can and you will get through to her. And once you guys are good, rip into her and get that apology you deserve." Kate gently places a hand on Jenessa's knee.

"Well, yes and no. If she doesn't apologize the second you open up, then she can go fuck herself." Gabbie side eyes Kate. This gets a laugh out of the crying girl, the mood lifted and they all decided to turn on a movie.

Once it was over, and the Iowa girls left for their hotel, Jenessa crawled into bed, sleep quickly overtaking her.
