THE GIRLS ended up winning against Kansas 71-63, despite Jenessa having to miss that game. Then later in the week at the Jimmy V classic, losing 68-80 to Texas. After, they returned to Storrs, winning 90-63 versus Ball State.

They then attended the Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase, taking home a win 76-64 against North Carolina. Finally, the team had a bit of a break, most of them using it to catch up on school work.

"Fuck shes so fine." Jenessa whined as she scrolled through Paiges new spam post. "Huh?" Caitlin deadpanned confused. "Paige! Go look at her insta post."

"CAITLIN CLARK. WHAT." Jenessa screamed, seeing her comment. "Jesus you stalker i said that 20 seconds ago." Caitlin laughed, her voice going choppy as she walked out of her dorm room. "You are officially disowned." She lowered her voice, squinting at the Iowa girl. "Love you! Bye!" Caitlin smiled widely and waved before hanging up quickly so Jenessa couldn't snap.

The brunette sighed and closed her textbook, feeling fed up and also accomplished about her work, she'd finished multiple assignments and only had one left which was due in a week.

"Didn't know you were still alive!" Paige teased as Jenessa exited her room. "Oh shut up." She rolled her eyes. "You were holed up for decades, I got lonely out here." The blonde pouted, her puppy dog eyes fluttering. Jenessa couldn't help but give in and lay down on the couch, head in Paiges lap.

"You're so dramatic, it was a couple hours P." She smiled as she turned onto her back and looked up at Paige. "Still." She mumbled and wrapped her legs around the smaller girl, trapping her in place.

"Movie?" Paige suggested, picking up the remote after Jenessa nodded. About 30 minutes in, the brunette was softly snoring and Paige stifled a laugh behind her hand, she decided to let the girl sleep since they had practice at 7pm.

Three hours later, Jenessa woke up to Paige softly shaking her. "Rise and shine, we have practice in thirty." The blonde smiled and JJ groaned. "Okay."

She got up and went into her room, throwing on a pair of her navy Uconn practice shorts, and matching navy Uconn t-shirt. She put her hair up into a ponytail and grabbed her backpack, slinging it over her shoulder. "You ready?" Jenessa called out and Paige replied with a yes, coming out of her room soon after. Though not rare, the two were in the same outfits, causing them to giggle then head out the door and to Jenessa's car.

"I can drive, lets take my car." Paige said. "You always drive, ill drive today." Jenessa shook her head as Paige protested. "Paige, we are taking my car and I am driving it." And the blonde pouted in response.

In practice, Jenessa noticed her arm was acting up again, wincing as she shot a three. "Jayde, come over here please." Geno waved her over from the sidelines, Jenessa jogged over and put on a confused face. "Whats up?" She asked.

"Your arm, it's hurting you again, isnt it?" He asked. "What? No, its fine." She retaliated, not wanting to sit out or have some minor injury cut into her practices.

"Go to the physical therapists room, now." He sternly spoke, making Jenessa bite her lip and walk out of the gym with her head down.

The girls all noticed her leaving and gave each other confused and questioning looks, before Geno yelled at them to get back to work.

Thirty minutes later when Jenessa came back, she had a sling around her arm and an emotionless expression. Paige threw her ball off to the side and went running over, and the team all followed. "Whats wrong?" "What happened?" "Are you okay?" "Is it bad?" A million questions were asked all at once, Jenessas head whipping back and forth trying to get everyone to relax.

"Girls, move aside please." Geno pushed through and pulled Jenessa away. "So, whats the verdict?" The brunette sighed and sat on the bench behind her. "A sprain at the least, but they want to take x-rays because they think it could be worse, maybe a fracture. They told me to keep the sling on for a week, and i have to see them once a week for a month. Depending on if it's a fracture or not, Im not allowed to play for 2 weeks, more if it is." Jenessa said, her head hung low as she felt disappointed in herself.

"Take your time Jayde, and keep up with seeing them. Let me know what the x-rats say, and whatever you do, do not play." Geno rubbed her back before walking away, leaving Jenessa alone on the bench.

After practice, all the girls showed immediate pity as JJ walked into the locker room to grab her stuff, swarming her with hugs and forced smiles. Jenessa could tell they were all just putting on a fake face, lying as they told her it will all be fine. She smiled lightly before shrugging them off and grabbing her bag, Paige following behind her and waving goodbye to the girls.

Jenessa was quiet in the car, and Paige interlocked their hands. "Jenessa, its going to be okay. Its just a sprain. Im sorry this happened to you." Her eyebrows were lowered, a sad expression prominent on her face. "God, not you too. Paige, I don't want the pity." The brunette pulled her hand away, putting both on the steering wheel as she stared at the road.

"Its not pity JJ, we all just want you to rest up and get better, we're here for you and we care about you." Paige continued, but Nessa stayed silent.

But the second the entered the dorm room, what Paige didnt suspect was for Jenessa to pin her to the wall. "Woah, what are you doing? Careful with your arm!" Paige panicked. "Do you not want this? Me?" JJ cocked an eyebrow, her lips parted as she stared up at Paige, causing the blondes heart rate to skyrocket. She crossed her legs as she felt Jenessa's hands on her body, riling her up.

"Cmon Paigey, please. I need you, show me you don't pity me." Jenessa breathed out, her voice whiny, begging. "You have no idea Jayde." Paige's hormones took over as she connected their lips aggressively, easily picking up Jenessa and walking the two into her room, lips never disconnecting. She placed Jenessa down on the bed, and unclipped her sling.

The brunette reconnected their lips, pulling Paige down by her collar, their tongues exploring one another's mouths, Paige's knee found its way in between her legs and Jenessa let out a moan, practically turning Paige into a feral animal.

Next thing they knew, their clothes were all over the room, the blonde's face buried between her thighs.
