"YOU WEREN'T KIDDIN', PRINCESS." Dutch says as he walks out of Detention with Faye, "you really can be a little rebel." Faye rolls her eyes and continues to adjust her bag on her back, his dark eyes were practically drilling holes into the side of her head, so fidgeting was the only option.

They both ended up silently walking down the hall, neither of them said anything. She'd glance at him a couple of times, and he'd stare at her throughout the walk. She didn't know why, but Dutch seemed to make her nervous and he didn't used to – none of them used to; she was always so comfortable around her friends and when she lost them – they didn't feel like them..only different.

Faye realised they were outside and she looked at him, "I'll see you tomorrow." She says with a tight-lipped smile before beginning to walk away, but a firm hand grabbed her wrist.

"How are you getting home?" Dutch asks her as he turns her back around.

The girl looked at him, "I'm walking, well, I'm going to take the bus." She says meeting his eyes this time and noticing how he seemed to be in thought – Faye was surprised to actually witness him using his brain, no offence, obviously.

"I'll give you a ride," he says now with a very smug look upon his face. "You'll get home safely with me, I promise," he said wiggling his eyebrows causing the girl to roll her eyes.

"I'm good," he looks at her almost immediately. "I'll get the bus."

It was his turn to roll his eyes, "you scared, Princess?"

"Of you? Never." Dutch didn't believe her, he wasn't upset he loved when people feared him, but when it came to Faye he hated it.

"I won't be reckless if that's what you're worried about." He grunts out, "but I ain't going slow like Bobby."

Faye thought about it, "or I could just take the bus." She shrugs almost bursting out laughing at the look of frustration that was written all over his face. He takes a step closer to her causing Faye to look up and continued to stare into her eyes without blinking, it turned into a staring contest between the two. Faye bit her lip, she was never good at this when they were younger, Dutch had always won.

It had been a couple of seconds until Faye blinked, "ha! You're coming with me, you lasted longer than I expected." He said dragging a pouting Faye to his bike, "c'mon, stop the pouting, we all know I'm your favourite."

"Right....." she trails off causing Dutch to scoff and turn around to her with his stupid smirk.

"Oh come on! Surely, I'm the favourite, right?" He says stopping next to his bike. Faye wasn't sure to either burst his bubble or just lie to him, so she chose the first option.

"There's no favourite....I think." She really hadn't made a decision. She never had a favourite as a kid, she could never choose between any of them. "I guess nobody, yeah nobody."

Dutch scoffs, "we all know Jimmy's your favourite stop lying."

Faye smiles, "he's not my favourite. I just like to give him special treatment." She states crossing her arms with a small smile causing Dutch to look away with a smile of his own.

"You comin'?" He questions climbing onto his bike and grabbing onto Faye's wrist pulling her onto the front of him. Her face was pushed into his chest as her arms instinctively wrapped around him, she could practically see his smirk. "You don't mind if I take you somewhere do you?"

"My home? Yeah, that place." She said throwing daggers up at his face, "no detours, Dutch, I mean it."

"Sure, no detours." He laughs before letting his engine rip, Faye's arms tightened around him when the bike began to take off.

Her eyes were squeezed shut, and she knew he'd lied. The asshole didn't go slow at all – and he didn't indeed do as she said, he didn't take her home, in fact he took her to their old favourite diner.

This diner had many memories for all of them, they had all stopped going, and now....now they were back. Dutch stopped the bike and took off his helmet and sat up smirking down at the girl who was shaking from adrenaline. "You alright, Princess? Or do I need to carry you in?" He questions.

"You fucking prick!" She spat, "you liar!"

"I didn't lie, I told the truth and went slow." He said chuckling at her. "But I did lie about taking you home."

"I noticed that," rolling her eyes and pulling away from him and at the diner. "What do you want?" She asked tiredly as she looked back up at him with narrowed eyes.

"I wanna spend some time with you...alone, without any of the guys near us." He says, this made the girl realise it was true she's only ever been near the others and really talked to them, but Dutch she seemed to avoid him completely. Perhaps, it was because he intimidated her in some way.

"Fine," she says. "We can talk in private, I guess."

Dutch could feel a smile stretch upon his face as he clampers off of the bike, taking her hand gently and helping her off. He chuckled once more when she nearly fell on her shaky legs, he couldn't help but compare her to a fawn trying to stand on it's legs for the first thing.

"C'mon, jelly legs." He teases causing her to flip him off earning a snicker.

"Don't start, McQueen." She said as he opens the diner door for her.

"Woah, back to the last name bases, I see." He rolled his eyes and looked around at the place.

It hadn't changed one bit, the red seats were still the same, the yellow walls and the black and white squared walls were the same. Hell, they even had their record disks still placed on the walls and the jukebox that Tommy and Faye would argue over was still in the corner. Faye couldn't help but notice the older woman that used to always serve them the same thing whenever they'd come in, they'd even earned the name troublemakers from her. She smiles and lets Dutch drag her to the old booth that they hadn't sat in for almost five years, the boy sat across from her and glanced at her.

"Your usual then?" He asks her causing her to almost gasp.

She smiles, "you remember it?"

"Yeah, obviously," he clicks his tongue. "We used to come here every day remember?"

"Yeah, I remember." She says rubbing her arm, "I wonder if they'll remember us."

Dutch was about to say something but was cut off by the waitress, "hello, welcome to Floyd's 50's diner, what can I get for you?" She asks in her familiar sweet voice.

"We'll take our usual." Faye says looking up at the older woman who stared for a moment before gasping, her eyes dart from Dutch to Faye.

"Well, well, well if it isn't two grown up troublemakers." She teases, "I thought I'd never see my favourite group again." She chuckles. "The other four coming or just you two?"

"Just us." Dutch says with a smirk.

"Wow, I always knew you'd date one of them." Faye choked while Dutch snickers.

"No, no, no! You've got it all wrong, we're just friends!" She rushes out with pink taints that brushed across her cheeks.

"Ah, really? Well, I was so sure you'd end up with one of them. Anyways, I'll get you both your usuals and let me guess a cola for a drink?" Both teens nod causing her to grin and wiggle eyebrows at Faye who put her hands over her face in embarrassment.

The girl heard her footsteps walk off back into the kitchen and looks up at Dutch who was hiding a grin behind his wrist. "I am beginning to wonder if she ever made any bets with the staff," Faye chuckles at Dutch's facial expressions he began to make.

"I'm starting to believe that thought." He says looking at someone from the corner of his eye causing the blue eyed girl to follow his gaze to the manager who was smirking and looking away towards the kitchens.

"Damn, this sucks." She jokingly said while pouting, "me stuck with you."

Dutch turns looking offended, "am I really that bad?" He asks watching her look at him with a 'yes' expression. "Oh, c'mon Princess, I'm a good guy." He said pointing a playful finger in her direction.

"Mmhmm, whatever floats your boat." She says fiddling with her hands and suddenly glances up when their old usual meals come forward.

"Sorry for the hold up, two cheese burgers and two colas." She says placing them down in front of the two, "on the house."

"Oh, no I can pay." Faye says, she hated when someone paid for her or whenever something was on the house.

"Nope, no need, Sugar." She winks before stalking off.

Faye glances at Dutch who shrugs his shoulders while eating one of the fries. The girl sighs and lifts her own burger up to her mouth, she looks away out the window to eat, she was a little uncomfortable eating in front of him, but she sucked it up.

"Enjoying the date?" Dutch questions with his mouth full, she almost choked on her burger and glanced at him and noticed that he generally looked curious and didn't even notice his slip up.

Faye groans quietly and looks at Dutch with a sceptical look, "don't you mean 'enjoying the hangout?'" She asks him causing him to suddenly look like a deer in headlights.

"That's what I meant!" He said feeling a little embarrassed before digging back into his burger looking at Faye to answer.

Faye shrugs, "it's good. I guess I enjoy the old memories that come with it."

"I get you," he says. "First time back here in god knows how long." He states making Faye nod her head and both of them ended up going into an awkward silence with each other. There was a few shared glances and smiles before that ended up with full blown laughter by the stupid shit that came out of Dutch's mouth.

━━━━━━

Soon the two had finished up and the woman took their leftover rubbish away, nodding them a farewell until next time. Dutch and Faye left out the door with smiles and laughter, unknowingly holding hands. The both of them went back towards the bike, Faye who was still giggling and Dutch staring at her with a struck awe look and then down at their entwined hands with a smile.

"Am I still as bad as you thought?" He asks with a slight toothy grin upon his face. Faye couldn't help but think of the younger him, she gave him a similar looking grin.

"No, you're not as bad." She says causing him to fist bump the air, "but just work on the anger and I might just trust you again."

Dutch looks as though she'd just hung up the stars at those exact words, he gently led her closer as he sat down on the bike and pulled her down gently so that she could sit in front of him – so he could keep an eye on her.

"Y'know, you look good like this, Princess." He teases with a flirty smirk after she wrapped her arms around him.

Faye rolls her eyes, "now I'm back to disliking you."

"What no! You just said you liked me!" He exclaims as he mocks the wounded heart.

The girl could feel herself snicker, "I said 'you aren't as bad as I thought you were.' Where did you get the 'I liked you' from?"

"I assumed that's what it meant." She shook her head earning a laugh from the boy, she felt him pat her back and pushed her closer making sure she held on tightly.

Faye didn't need to be told twice, she held onto him more tightly that she did the first time because she knew that Dutch was a maniac at driving. She wasn't going to put it past herself for the second time, she could hear him chuckling at her reaction which made her roll her eyes once more.

"Hold on tight, Princess." He says turning on the engine.

"I still hate this," she says clicking her tongue. "If I die, I'm coming back to haunt you."

"At least I warned you this time, right?" He says as he slowly backed out the drive-thru.

"That doesn't count you moron," he seemed to make some sort of noise from the insult. She couldn't help but grin, she knew no matter what she said, he would still drive as if he were in a race. "Dutch, did you just get off in being called a moron?"

The bike fully stops, "w-what!"

"You made an awfully throaty noise at being called a moron, Dutchy." She teases even more, she couldn't hold it in any longer, her laughter filled the whole parking lot.

"I did not! Shut up, Faye!" He says grouchily.

Faye has to compose herself for her next words, "it's okay if you do, Dutch. Some people have kinks for name calling." A few laughs escaping from her.

"Fucking hell, I do not have any kinks. Shut up!" He exclaims showing his own sarcastic grin, "I definitely did not miss the annoying Faye."

"Mmhmm, sure." She laughs again, but squealed when he roared the engine and laughing as it felt like justice once again and he started to leave the parking lot, he sped down the road all the way back to Encino Hills.

This was really going to take a while.
