She lived a busy life, she lived with her young father and his parents until her father graduated college. Mike Amber, had Vada young, he was only fifteen, when she was born while her mother was eighteen and ready to leave for college. Vada's mother, we'll call her Rose, didn't think a baby would be beneficial for her future so, she left her with a note on her grandparents doorstep.

Mike Amber, had became a public figure running for council and being a pillar for the Black Community. He married soon after Vada turned eight to a man named Avan Singh. Vada considered him to be her appa and if anyone challenged that, she'd raise hell.

He had been a little older maybe 2-3 years. Arman was polished and clean, as if his whole life was planned and executed . his eyes were unsettling but they were a beautiful shade of green. Vada would say it was love at first sight but it was not. It took time but she learned to trust him and love him.
