PLOT

The day Dallas Sterling found out who she really was was the worst day of her life. She was cast out by her father, who couldn't stand that his daughter was different. And it didn't help that the plants she accidentally grew destroyed half of their house. Now the five-year-old girl was left to fend for herself while trying to avoid the monsters chasing her. But soon she wasn't entirely alone. While looking for food one day, Dallas literally ran into a boy with the kindest eyes she'd ever seen. Traveling with him were two girls, and all three of them welcomed the Sterling girl with open arms. The four of them journeyed to Camp Half-Blood together, where they knew they would be welcomed.

But only three of them made it.

Five years had passed since Dallas's father turned his back on her. After being claimed by Demeter, she had been training hard to master her talents and skills. Due to her age and size, she had to work harder than most of the other campers, but that never stopped her. She soon became the strongest of the chlorokinetics, making flowers appear wherever she went. Dallas could stand her own against all of the campers. She may not have won every sparring match, but she put up a good fight. She was determined to be the best version of herself to get a quest and prove that she wasn't useless. She wanted to prove her father wrong.

Then a new camper came.

The story of the defeat of the minotaur spread through the camp like wildfire. Everyone knew who Percy Jackson was before he even knew what was going on. Dallas soon became very interested in his story, curious as to why a boy who defeated a powerful monster wasn't immediately claimed. But she didn't let the chaos of the newcomer distract her. She had tasks to do and things to accomplish. However, everyone's world was turned upside down when one of the Big Three claimed Camp Half-Blood's newest camper. And to make matters worse, the Jackson boy was accused of stealing a powerful object from an even more powerful God. Now Dallas, along with Annabeth and Grover, must join Percy on a quest to clear his name and stop a war.

NOTES

▻ Dallas is the daughter of Demeter. She can be really timid and keeps to herself most of the time. However, that doesn't stop her from accomplishing her goals.

▻ Dallas' best friend is Annabeth Chase. They have a very strong bond and consider each other sisters. Annabeth is extremely protective of her and doesn't want her to go on the quest. But Percy already chose her, so there was no going back.

▻ Luke is protective of Dallas as well. He keeps her close to him and trains her in his free time. However, she learns later on that he kept her close to get her to join him more easily.

▻ Dallas is the only camper that Dionysus likes to be around, but he'll never admit it.
